The Farm Kitchen in South Oxfordshire

What a fantastic place, stayed on Swiss Farm in our motorhome. Had Sunday lunch and breakfast at the Farm Kitchen outstanding!! Place is immaculately clean plus food and drink amazing. Hard to find the superlatives to describe how good it is!!

I popped in with two friends as we heard that it had a good reputation. Two of us ordered the all day breakfast, while another ordered the fish finger sandwich. Also ordered some onion rings. Breakfast was great. The sausage was juicy and well cooked. The two fried eggs were nice and runny while the hash brown was crunchy and tasty. The bacon was thick and tasty, and the roast was hot and nicely browned. Not a drop of grease or oil anywhere. Very tasty and enjoyable to eat. The onion rings were also crispy, tasty, and oil free making it a really enjoyable experience The fish finger sandwich was crispy and filling. Price was ok and the room we were in was quiet but airy (we sat in the second area but the main cafe? Area was pretty busy. Will definitely go again to have another breakfast and try some of their other dishes. Well worth a visit.

Nice location. Food quite disappointing for the price. The vegan burger is mushy with no bite (it's a simple veggie mix rather than beans or soy so v. low protein), and the difference between the large and small roast was indistinguishable. However, the roasts themselves were just fine. Tea is served in a small pot, and the coffee didn't taste right. Ended up giving in to the desserts, which were ok but not particularly original or deeply flavourful. All in all, the food was fine, but it felt like there could have been more effort made to ensure you get what you pay for.

Cheap good food with lots of vegan and vegetarian options

Never make a review but this was shocking for the price. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. £66 for four breakfast wouldn’t of been a issue if was 10/10 Didn’t even get tomatoes and didn’t offer discount for not having them. £3 for half a glass of apple juice maybe wouldn’t be as bad if had small glasses.

Had a lovely and well portioned roast beef dinner at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Would have been 5 stars however the veg and beef weren't quite as hot as they should have been. Regardless its definitely somewhere I would happily visit again. The roast dinner was very nice.

Many places in Henley profess to having ‘The Best Breakfast in Henley’ - nowhere has lived up to being anywhere close to how epically incredible this breakfast has been today…after all, we’d all like to write our own reviews huh? Everything was cooked to absolute perfection, which is a huge testament to the chef. I’m not taking away from the skill of the chefs, but they can only work with what they’ve got right?! - they can’t polish the proverbial. The quality of the ingredients was something not expected of a caravan park outside of Henley town centre. Let’s just say I understand now why people rave about avocado…it actually tasted like an avocado! - not sure what mushy green stuff I’ve previously eaten. The service wasn’t fussy, wasn’t pushy and didn’t do my head in - normally the over attentive ‘can I get you anything else can I get you the bill can I get you another coffee’ drives us insane. Absolutely totally amazing in every way. We’ll be back (most likely tomorrow)

This is a real bonus for a campsite, a good bistro / bar serving delicious food. We were fortunate when they moved pizza night to a Tuesday especially for the Wales vs England game enabling us to enjoy excellent authentic pizzas. The seafood was a standout.

First ever visit here which is mad given it is just down the road. All the staff were excellent, friendly and super efficient. Farmers breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great pot of tea. Will make sure to visit again very soon, thank you.

Wonderful staff, lovely food with family/dog friendly garden

We have had 2 nights of exceptional food whilst camping. The service was very good and the prices very reasonable considering how delicious and well presented each meal was. Highly recommend and will be back!

Have been in a few times on the last fortnight. Great food and drinks. Lovely breakfast choices until 12pm Super Lunch fayre early afternoon. Excellent Pizza on Wednesday nights. Great choice of "Fish and Chip" type meals on Friday. Excellent Sunday Lunch. Recommend booking.

Been here several times. Food is great but I’m sick of them overcharging and then pretending they didn’t notice. They’re renowned for it, so watch out. So sad that they resort to this to satisfy their greed!

Found this place when looking for a place for breakfast. Absolutely top quality full English breakfast. Could not fault 1 part of it. Will definitely be going back again! Our new go to for breakfast. I Don't even mind driving for 20 minutes to get there, it is that good :-)

Just popped in on our way to buy a Christmas tree for lunch , never even knew it was there . Very friendly and welcoming, food is gorgeous with very generous portions . Would recommend as definitely going again .

Only went on for two Flat whites, both of which were warm rather than hot and expensive at £2.75 a cup. These were served by a young chap wearing black gloves whe we saw a short while later leaving the men's toilets still wearing them! Need I say more?

Good quality and always consistent. Our go to breakfast place for when we have guests. You know a cafe is great when the toilets are clean, the butter is spreadable and the ketchup comes in a squeezable bottle, not glass or silly sachets. Prompt friendly service. But, more toast on the side please. :)

Always good food here and cater for vegetarians and vegans with gluten free options available as well. Indoor and outdoor eating and takeaway as well. Parking on site. Would recommend the breakfasts.

Good breakfast. Good choices for those who want Gluten free. Excellent customer service. Wonderful booking system - we had a lovely table and all tables were spaced out. A nice place for a couple with no children in the morning who want quiet. (The groups and families were polite and quiet. I think the play area kept the kids happy as they were so well behaved.) Overall the vibe was relaxed. Definitely coming back.

we booked a table for the indian themed food night, the fod was of good quailty, hot and nicely presented. The staff were Covid aware, pleasant and attentive. Tables well spaced out and we felt very relaxed and safe

We are staying on site. After checking in we walked into Henley for a couple of drinks and decided we'd go back and try the Saturday grill night here. So glad we did. My husband had the farm burger which he really enjoyed. I had ribeye steak with bearnaise sauce. It was superb. Cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and crispy. Not often I finish my whole meal or finish it before my husband but I did both tonight! We sat outside as it was a nice evening. We had the garden to ourselves. The staff are very friendly too. We really enjoyed it and would recommend.

We had lunch at The Farm Kitchen today. We’re not staying at the site but live near Henley, so decided to give it a try. What a find! With excellent food and friendly service, there’s nothing to dislike about this place. The panko fishcakes were truly delicious and the farmer’s breakfast was a hit. With bread and butter pudding and apple crumble for dessert - both homemade at the café - we were treated to great sweetness as a follow up to the main courses. We certainly plan to return to The Farm Kitchen, if only for a piece of cake: the options on offer were hard to resist!

Dined at the Farm Kitchen 4 times during our stay - 2breakfasts and 2 Fish & Chips (we were staying on site for 9 nights). The food always comes out hot and is delicious. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. COVID restrictions no issue at all. Will be back for Fish & Chips in August 2021 for the Rewind Weekend!!

Booked an outside table during our stay at campsite. Saturday night is grill night. We didn’t want To go to town as just out of lockdown. We were very pleased we made this choice. We had steak with peppercorn sauce which came with tomato, mushroom fries and onion rings which were excellent. All steaks cooked as requested. My husband had gammon pineapple fries and egg again really welled cooked. Prices very reasonable especially as we had alcohol too. Felt very safe and well spaced in garden area. A lovely evening, and we could take the dog. They even bought her a bowl of water without us asking. We will definitely eat here again

First time here for Sunday Lunch. Food was well cooked and presented, hot and delicious. But what you got on your plate for the money was disappointing. Three slices of beef, some vegetables and 2 halves of roast potatoes. I really thought I'd been given a child's portion but the staff said their portions were on the large size !

The farm Kitchen is on the Swiss Farm caravan site. It is open to non residents and this was obvious by the number of people calling in for breakfast. In my opinion its not a cafe its a restaurant as the sellection and quality of food is very good, above average. Service was excellent

Visited again whilst staying on site. Standards absolutely maintained and the Friday night Fish and Chips is well worth a visit.

Accommodated us even though we hadn't booked and so nice that the dogs were welcomed in the conservatory. The food was hot, well presented, cooked perfectly and very tasty.

We visited the Farm Kitchen last April whilst we were staying at Swiss Farm Touring Park and found it to be excellent. Good quality, fairly simple but well presented and in the ££ price bracket.On our recent visit we had Sunday lunch with our daughter and family who were staying at the campsite, dinner on our own one evening and breakfast on our last morning. All these meals were really good and very enjoyable. The Sunday lunch menu had two sizes of meal, small and large. I had a small portion of the roast chicken which was more than enough. One portion could easily be shared between two younger children as they don’t mind giving you an extra plate for sharing.There is a well stocked bar, the staff are very friendly and helpful.They do have a policy of dogs only allowed in the conservatory area but on the Sunday lunchtime there were no tables available in there and the waitress let us sit in the restaurant. I noticed that another dog was in there as well, laying under a table so I think they relax the rules rather than risk losing paying punters!!It is great to have such a pleasant, licensed eatery on a campsite.

Fresh and testy food morning, lunchtime and 3 nights a week. We had breakfast one morning and evening meals 3 times. Everything was cooked from fresh and very tasty. Excellent service as well. Highly recommended.

Only had the chance to try the Farm Kitchen on the Thursday as it was our last night and we were lucky enough to get the chefs choice of Thai night. Beautifully cooked with very good flavours. The pudding was tasty too.

Friday fish and chips were excellent as was the full English breakfast. Plenty of seating without being overcrowded and dog friendly.

Disappointing had baked potatoe and it was reheated and not very nice!

Great breakfast after packing tent up following a great 2 week stay at Swiss Farm

Food was good and promptly served by friendly and helpful staff. Just one complaint, a hair in my gammon, egg and chips!

We’ve just visited Swiss farm campsite and this little gem is a On site cafe /restaurant with a lovely conservatory seating area A snug for a Bar and A very comfortable cafe. My husband and I chose to eat there for breakfast I had the Eggs Royale it was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked and well presented and the service was excellent it also has a outside courtyard at the back facing the swimming pool area And another at the front . For on site cafe restaurants this is of a good standard very nicely appointed Smart and clean . At weekends they have speciality food nights we weren’t there but from the high quality of Breakfast I’m sure they are good

Good food, promptly made and served by friendly staff

I have been camping at Swiss Farm for decades during Henley Royal Regatta and the site now has this excellent cafe. Food was good, staff friendly and attentive and even during the busing regatta period breakfast was served very quickly. Seats inside or out in pleasant setting.

Amazing Farmhouse breakfast!! We currently staying for a two night stay at Swiss farm campsite. Thought we’d treat ourselves to a cheeky English breakfast. It was nice that we have returned this morning and currently sitting and eating again. Coffee is equally good. Staff are friendly Dogs allowed in conservatory. I can’t fault this place at all. Highly recommend.

we were staying at this touring site and ate in the restaurant on da y of arrival after a 5 hour drive from Kent. Had a meal on their mexican night, Meal was OK'ish but not mexican restaurant standard and beer too expensive for a family site at £4.85a pint. Last farm site we stayed at beer £3.25 a pint.Staff were polite and attentive.

Perfect food at a reasonable price

Visited whilst staying at Swiss Farm campsite, great service and quality fish & chips. Visited again over the weekend for drinks, good selection and local Henley gin was good. Family friendly and dogs allowed but at staff discretion if not too busy.

Very clean tidy ,meals are very reasonable priced well recommended.

We were staying at Swiss Farm Camping in our camper van and visited the Farm Kitchen for breakfast and dinner. The meals were excellent value and very tasty. Very good tender steak . The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would recommend strongly. Dog and child friendly.

Staying at four oaks caravan and motorhome which is next door, visited after an afternoon stroll. The cafe was very welcoming staff superb the food looked delicious. Had a delicious coffee much nicer than your high street cafes. Finished off with a local larger, will definitely be returning.

Situated on Swiss farm touring park. Great food, we enjoyed the cooked breakfast on Sunday morning, well cooked and tasty, Great selection of food and drinks, everything very clean.Staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place to have breakfast. The only thing that let it down for us was the sausages. But guess that's personal taste. Otherwise lovely and will return to try lunch. Cakes looked amazing but not tired...on this visit.

Our family visited this restaurant for an impromptu birthday party for myself. We were staying at a nearby campsite which had no restaurant. This one had just re-opened after the winter season closure and it was very quiet.

We had a meal in The Farm Kitchen on Italian Night. Well prepared and good value for money. We will definitely return on our next visit to the Park
