Lovely family pub would not recommend the food, found a big black hair in my meal, waitress seen, chef cane out with the rudest attitude 🤬🤬 basically saying I was a lier ... In front of my whole family....No apology or anything . Disgusting behaviour

Great play area for the kids and very clean. Lovely outdoor space to drink and chill. The food is home cooked and excellent value for money. My steak was cooked to perfection and the chips are, as promised, hand cut, really chunky and tasty. My husband had the gammon stack. The plate was almost the size of our front door. Excellent service, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough. Lots of choice on the menu too.

Came in for a meal with my family, the service was really friendly and the food was delicious. The outside is great for the kids the play, there's bouncy castle and brilliant climbing frame and slide.

Amazing food freshly made food! Good tasting affordable food, brilliant portions, lovely staff, only complaint I had is that there was only one high chair and I have a set of 1 year old twins but the chef did come out to us and say that he was looking at buying high chairs now which was lovely!

Such a friendly and welcoming place which I have visited many times over the years! New owner took over last year and it went downhill massively! Since the old owners are back, the pub is back to normal, with that familiar family feeling! Great for families with the play area outside and is also dog friendly which is great! Best pub in crewe.

Staff need to look like they actually want to be there, stop texting and looking bored, stop staring at customers especially when eating,.clean kitchen things properly, stop leaving the bar unattended as customers are having to let staff no as they aren't there that there is customers at the bar, there's one lady there who works her butt off then the others slack. Great pub for socialising just a shame the old landlord can't come back!

The place has not been refurbished since it was built in the 90’s, modified yes, but a lot of the original fixtures and fittings still remain. It’s a tired looking pub in need or some serious refurbishment, and a good clean. In an attempt to revive the place over the years, it’s tried to become all things to all people. Unfortunately the gimmicks and ‘theme’ nights wont work if you can smell the toilets whilst sitting in the lounge. It appears that vaping / smoking indoors is also acceptable if you are mates with the owners. The place needs a serious refurb and an owner with a clear vision of what they want to offer.

Very much a drinkers and a football pub. But the food was gorgeous! The menu is varied enough without being excessive. Kids and adults all enjoyed everything that came out. Will be returning!

My friends and I finish work quite late and thought we could come to the Eight Farmers for an evening meal, to our surprise as we arrived the staff advised us that the Stopped serving food at 7:30pm!!!!!!! What food serving place does that!!!!!! Incredulous!

We have called in several times for an evening meal and bottle of wine the last time being on Steak Night. Two lovely steak meals beautifully cooked with chips, peas and tomatoes to match.

This is a great pub the owner has done so much to turn it around. Children’s activities in the daytime on a Tuesday a yearly fun fair visit. Lovely outside area for the children to play. Live music and great priced food and drink.

Visited the Eight Farmers last night (Saturday) for a 40th Anniversary meal. There was a group of 21 family pre members booked in. When we arrived there were 18 seats for a start,leaving the rest to sit away from everyone else. The food then arrived...

Food was excellent and plentiful. Drinks are a little pricey but staff are nice. Atmosphere is good most of the time. Good pub for all ages.

We love it here the food is fantastic and we'll worth the money. All home cooked we come with elderly parents who the staff look after no problem, especially as my father inlaw is Gluten free there always happy to help.

Visitamos una hora de almuerzo y elegir algo de los bocados ligeros menú con lo que pudimos elegir un plato y postre por 1 libras cada uno. Qué ganga que pedimos hongos de ajo para empezar, que eran muy agradables seguido por nuestro plato principal, que era una porción grande teniendo en cuenta estas eran picaduras de luz así que puede probar algo del menú principal la próxima vez aunque éstas eran también muy razonable bajo comparado con la mayoría de los lugares.

Decided to try my local pubs food last night (Thursday ) and was very pleasantly surprised on a couple of levels. Firstly the quality of the food was far better than I was expecting, and the value was even better. If you choose a meal from the Grille range, that includes a drink, a pint of Strongbow in my case, thus making the meal about £2.50. It truly is great value for money and not half bad food served up. So, go give it a go, I bet you won’t be disappointed! Just another note, the service was very good also.Chris Holiday

Took my mother to the eight farmers for Mother's Day and the family for a meal and was extremely pleased with the fantastic level of service provided at an amazing price. Well worth a visit !!!

Great atmosphere at the weekends, has jukebox, sky sports, pool and darts board. Some staff are ok, one or two actually go out of their way to talk to you and make you feel welcome. Unfortunately there was a bit of trouble whilst we were eating our bargain meal (micro chips actually tasted better) but we had front row seats to see what was going on. Seems the landlady likes to think herself as a landlady out of a soap opera and her husband/ partner seems to love to carry the trouble on- raising his voice and actually use force instead of trying to calm a situation down on a Saturday tea time even when young children are playing and running round the pub.Is this a family pub? No way. Some children actually look older then the bar staff.Food? No, stick to the drink. I opted for a dinner and the quality (even for a bargain meal) wasn't very good. I complained to the landlady but after the trouble she rolled her eyes and passed me onto a young boy behind the bar who looked like the world was on his shoulders so I left the food.But like I said if its somewhere to drink with friends I would deffinitly recommend, have I been back since? No.

Just had lunch. I had a steak and my partner had cajun chicken. To start with the chicken came out wrong and we had to send it back. The waitress was very apologetic and explained they have just changed the menu. The problem was fixed. The steak was nice however it was really over done i would recommend asking for it to be cooked less than you usually would. The bar lady/waitress was fantastic and really friendly cannot fault the service and for the tiny amount of money it costs for a meal here we will give it another go for sure!!

For the price you pay you really can't fault the eight farmers. Well cooked, great choice and a three course offering for £5.25.Yes, the staff are young and energetic - thank goodness. Some previous reviewers obviously had an axe to grind....

i love curry but never usally order one in a pub,but when i saw the cut throat curry i thought id give it a go well its the best and hottest curry ive ever had , there are 7 or 8 currys to chose from all served with a drink for a fiver! great job chef. also a young lad behind the bar who was great help explaining the curry and very friendly caint wait to return thank you

Kids running round the place at 10:30pm on a few occasions, land lady just sitting at the bar clearly not bothered by the fact there are young children still in the pub at this time. Toilets are dusty, no loo roll in any of them. Certain members of the bar staff are rude, no please or thank you- don't look old enough too even work behind the bar

The service was excellent and all the bar staff were very pleasant, particularly the landlady. The atmosphere was friendly and we enjoyed our night out. Would definately go back again.

Shocking service, barbaid named megan couldnt even crack a smile! Got accused of my friend for 'sneeking' in drinks when the pub was empty and we bought 2 bottles and a coke for my friend and he didnt have a bag so couldnt see how he could sneek in a drink! Pathetic service wont be returning to this pub ever again!!!

NEVER have such a poor experience !! food was ALL microwaved, beer expensive and flat and as for customer service..... Ive worked in customer service for 20 years and if i EVER gave the quality (or rather lack of) i experience(from one female seemed to be in charge) here i would be sacked !!!! please, please rethink your attitude to your job or a very well established local could end up closed. just a but of advice.

Went to our local last night. Ordered a burger and curry deal. Curry was good. Burger was so over cooked it was hard on outside. As the price is cheap we went too bothered. There was no table check to see if all was ok. Went to order puddings and were told they had closed as they were short staffed. Only had 1 server on and he could not serve a dozen people at the bar, most of them had full drinks and serve food as well. We were not informed that they had closed food and this is not the first occasion this had happened. The manager had also decided to take the evening off leaving one poor lad on his own. He was apologetic but we were v disappointed as we wanted to make an evening of it. The coop across the road had our business instead.

Went as a family for Sunday lunch, Menus on tables offered a 2 for £8.49 deal, only to be told that the offer had finished, so why was it still on all the tables? Ordered Sunday roast, but could only offer chicken or turkey. Waited 45 mins for food, the meal was probably microwaved with undercooked vegetables, tough breast of chicken, on the bone (not sliced as expected) and bland just cooked roast potatoes. The staff serving were totally uninterested in being helpfull. One lunch had been ommited from our order, and we had to wait another 45mins for one more roast lunch to arrive. Only one of our group (5 of us) ordered a pudding, part of the lunch 2 course deal, and that took an age to come and had to be requested several times. When it arrived , it contained synthetic sqirty cream and not fresh as expected. All in all a very poor lunch in what culd be made a good place to eat. I have eaten in many 'marston' pubs and never been disappointed until now.

There's nothing wrong with it - it's a pub that sells food and has Sky Sports for the football. Very friendly service and a good atmosphere on the weekends. Can't go wrong if that's what you're after!

Food was great, one of the best sunday roasts i have had, bearing in mind i am really fussy, couldnt do enough to cater for you, pool table, darts, clean facilities, shop just next door

nice looking modern pub from outside, inside a bit of a horror. staff are rude, food is microwaved/deep fat fried, beer is awful and not cheap. as a local person to it, i avoid at all costs, its really not worth the visit, i'd rather drink at home!

The all day breakfast is simply to die for, d' d' d; die for!
