The Durban Grill in North Norfolk

Best pop-up we have had at one of our events! Excellent communication in the build-up and the team arrived early with plenty of time to prepare. Super friendly team always more than happy to help The food is of a very high standard and presented very well. Fantastic choice of menu. Ostrich burger is out of this world and the brookie desserts were talked about by all guests. Superb value for money and leftovers boxed up to take home. Definitely, be using again!

The Durban Grill were at the brilliant bar at Woodlands Leisure Club, the menu looked full of flavour so we thought we'd give some exotic food a try! The ostrich burger was incredible, so lean and so flavoursome, not greasy at all, was so good I went back for a second one! Their curried salsa thing (can't remember the name) was also incredible, nice filling with the burger and the sausage dish as well. My girlfriend insisted that the Halloumi wrap was the best she'd ever had, she went back for seconds too! Overall, brilliant food and not too exotic, just different enough to make you want to try it, and then try it again. The staff on the food truck were incredibly kind and lovely as well, clearly had a real passion for what they were doing. Can't recommend enough, 10/10.

I have a stall four times a year at Fresh Artisan art fair in Norwich and every time (and almost every day of the markets!) I will go to Durban Grill and get one of the AMAZING halloumi wraps with this delicious fresh cooked relish. The service is always perfect, food always top quality, and I will be continuing to get my lunches here whenever I see the van!

Found theses guys a few times at different events and the food was great and so different compared to what you can normally get in Norwich. We then got them to do the catering for our wedding, the service was amazing. The two of them were so nice and helpful and were a pleasure to work with. The guests loved the food and thanks to theses guys we had an amazing day.

Messaged in advance and pleasantly surprised to hear they could cater for gluten free. We weren’t let down. Yummy unusual food choices but with enough of a traditional element to tempt even fussy eaters. Everyone we knew who ate from there raved about the fresh ingredients and full flavours- quality African festival food - I can’t wait to try more! Very friendly and helpful team Will certainly look out for them at future events.

Got some food from here when we visited a wedding show. It was so tasty and filling and the staff really knew their stuff about South African food! Definitely worth a try if you can!

The food looks good, but I only had coffee. Today we had an espresso and a flat white. Both were excellent, so they're using quality beans and are proper baristas. I'm reviewing because it's rare to find a street food van where they care about the coffee and really know how to make a good 'un. The pair were obviously having a busy day but gave us enthusiastic and friendly service.

Great choice of varied food was on offer, host and hostess are welcoming and helpful. Great food, good prices and even bagged some of their Ikhofi Durban roasted beans which were also ace!

Amazing food from buffalo burgers to ostrich steaks, chakalaka to wild boar hot dogs and lots more. They also do premium coffee and awesome hot chocolate served by award winning baristas. Great team running the durban grill and I think they will be in high demand in the future. Highly recommended. If you are looking for great food that is different from fish and chips and beef burger or pizza then this is the place . Prices are very reasonable too.

Tried some some food from the Durban Grill at an event last year in Norfolk, opted for Ostrich meat with pap and (if I remember rightly) creamed spinach. It was really good food and no more expensive than the other food stalls that were there. Really liked the presentation of the food, interesting cutlery that added to the South African vibe of what was being served. From what i've seen recently of what they offer I can't wait to try another meal from them as they have a very exciting menu to chose from wherever they go. Very friendly and hard working staff, they deserve every success with the business. I also understand they do fantastic coffee but I have yet to try that. Very highly recommended.
