Pub closed 2021. Really sad that this pub closed in August 2021 and hasn't (yet) reopened under new ownership. Looks as if it's surrounded by security fencing pending redevelopment. Another lost pub 😢

A cute little locals pub that doesn’t make outsiders feel unwelcome. The owner had two lovely dogs and was very friendly . We had good service and sat in the beer garden which was cosy with patio heaters , rope lights and blankets and pillows were provided which is a lovely touch . Pub is lovely and old inside. We were drinking double gin and tonic which cost us £21 for two in a round which feels a little excessive hence the 4 star review

We had a wonderful steak meal yesterday lunchtime during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme. Sirloin steak, chips, onion rings, mushrooms and peas with peppercorn sauce. The service was quick and all the food was well cooked and nice and hot, which is sometimes not the case with other places. Good selection of beers and social distancing and table service in place. Highly recommended.

.. and none the worse for that. Homemade food, friendly staff, choice of real ales which are changed regularly. 5* FSA hygiene rating. Interesting displays on the walls. Another regular lunchtime place for us. The resident spaniels have perfected the pleading, deep brown eyed, soulful, I'm starving look, so be warned!

Visited the pub instead while staying at the nearby Premier Inn whose choice of beer and menu is rather limited. Beer and food in the Derehams Inn was good quality and reasonably priced. Definitely better that the chain hotel offering. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

We turned up as part of a running club so meals and drink all required at the same time. The food was good pub grub and it all turned up on time. No mean feet considering the number of staff. (Many much larger pubs that we have descended on have failed and don't care). The lady came out of the kitchen to make sure every body was happy.

Walked to this little pub whilst staying at nearby Premier Inn. An excellent range of real ales and food is good basic pub grub at very good value. The pub has excellent character and on a warm evening there is a pleasant garden area in which to sit. If eating be prepared to be joined by the pub dogs Oreo and Rolo. The only negative is that the bar counter is very small and on both nights we visited locals were sat on stools and stood by the bar making it difficult to order as they seemed disinclined to allow access.

This is my idea of a perfect English pub. The owners Maggie and Graham, and the bar staff especially Nicky are very friendly. The food is home-made and fantastic, the Sunday Roast is hands down the best I have had and I travel the world sampling them. They have a great selection of real ales as well as the standard favorites. Their spaniels Oreo and Rollo greet the guests with spaniel eyes. The background noise is what it should be. Happy chatter and the sound of darts hitting the board. There is a pool table and a pretty garden for the summer.

We went for Sunday lunch and had a lovely meal. Generous portions of meat, vegetables and the roast potatoes were (nearly) as good as my own. Gravy served separately, which I prefer. The service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our meal. Unfortunately I couldn't manage a dessert but those that came out of the kitchen looked delicious, and they have two new lagers on tap, Rebellion and Fullers, so they went down well also. Highly recommended.

We were staying at the local PremierInn and we did not like the look of the Brewers Fayre. Within a short 10 minute walk and the help of a local we found this smashing little pub. A proper community pub with a great atmosphere. After having a drink we said to the owner we would like to come back that night for dinner. Without hesitation she said she would reserve us a table. We returned for an evening of top quality food. There were I think 4 real ales on offer and our red wine was quality. If you are looking for a good option for food and drink this could be your pub of choice. Well done everyone including a really pleasant clientele who added to the atmosphere.

We don't like to go to the usual chain of food establishments and found this one after checking reviews. It's very old fashioned in a good way as so many pubs have their identity striped away. We went early evening and tried the gammom and chips served also with egg. The food was cooked fresh, served piping hot, the portion size very generous and was less than £8. I don't know how they do it. The only negative was that the pub dogs would occasionally 'paw' your leg for something from your plate. Needless to say we didn't oblige. Apart from that it was a positive visit.

You are unlikely to stumble across this pub as it is tucked away down a side road in Loudwater, you even drive past it without realising it is a pub! But find it please. It is a pub supported by the locals but I have always received a warm welcome in there from the staff and locals alike. It is always busy but not uncomfortably so. Food serve is traditional British and prepared on the premises with goods sized portions. Fancy a friendly night out or just looking for a place to have a drink whilst staying at the local travel lodge give it ago you won't be disappointed.

Went to the Derehams for a Fathers Day Sunday roast & was very impressed. Maggie does a great job in the kitchen, with a hearty roast to satisfy a healthy appetite, and at a very reasonable price! The food is traditional home cooked grub, not your 1.4 roasties & a slither of beef that you might get at a more pretentious establishment. On my visit to The Derehams Inn, it was clean and well maintained freehouse which is very rare these days!! I like a good real ale and they have five guest ales and I was told about the annual beer festival in July with about 25 real ales, which I will definetly be trying.Like every good pub they have a dog who I was told is called Rolo, being a puppy he is very cute and friendly. It is nice to see a pub with all the traditional features such as beams, horse brass, tankards, real fire, decorative plates etc. So many pubs are being turned into gastro pubs etc, so this is really pleasant to see.The food is served mainly at lunchtimes, with average price of £6-7 for a proper dinner, although I have a massive appetite the portions are massive. Very tasty, specials board is worth checking out as they are about £4 a dinner!Hope to return soon

Derehams is tucked away a stone's throw from the A40 and a real pub with several real ales available pretty much all the time, by that I mean they have some guest beers which is always nice to be adventurous and try something new.The pub has a good reputation for food and my wife and friend both chose the Steak & Guinness pie with chips, and both were delighted and at £4 a pop so was I. I had the fish & chips and wished I had followed their good example. The pub's big attraction, for me anyway, is it's authentic British Pub atmosphere. It has 2 dart boards, inside and outside, that's right they provide a dart board for the smokers undercover outside. I believe Derehams has 2 darts teams and proud of it, but you'll have to ask them how they are doing in the league

Shocking, went in the late summer for a lunch meal and went away extremely disappointed and we will never return again. The price for what was a very small part baked then an overcooked dried roll was daylight robbery. It cost me £12 for the plate in the photo and 1 pint of beer. Spoke to various staff members who didn't really know what was going on and said that was the price. If you do go be warned, this is the worst pub grub and value for money in Marlow.

The pub is small and cosy and the food is divine. Mussels to die for..... I can still taste them now, 2 days later. The service we had was outstanding too. A little gem in Marlow. The only very tiny downside is that you have to book at 8am if you want a table that day. Definitely worth setting an alarm for though.

Dropped in for breakfast and to sit outside the main entrance as it was glorious. There was only a couple of members of staff serving and the queue was building. An elderly gentlemen was faffing about, he was both sides of the counter, completely ignoring the staff or customers, just making his own coffee. Another elderly lady came in and similar, both sides of the counters, chatting to the gentleman, then going into the cupboard and messing about with the fire alarms. She’s barking orders about waiting for a coffee and rolling her eyes. Next thing they are both sat outside and the queue is even bigger, with people explaining this has become the norm now. Brilliant, I wouldn’t mind but the coffee and breakfast was no where near the usual standards.
