Lovely eat in and takeaway. Family breakfast for a family of 5. Great service, even had a lovely warm bowl of bread pudding 😁 as a taster. Great value. Will definitely visit again when we're in Exmouth

Sought this bakery out for our breakfast stop. We had two “croissants”. They were buttery but completely stodgy. We were expecting something light and flaky. Coffee not bad and hot chocolate was OK.

We visited the crusty cob on the 3 of june. And was very disappointed at what we were served . on the menu , it states quarter pound beefburger , but the burgers were wafer thin , and didn't come close to resembling a quarter pounder . Had two today from. A ones stop store , and they were what they should be , thick and meaty. And the potatoe in the chips? . Unfortunately tasted undercooked ( raw). Allow yourself more cooking time. ( Under pressure??). But please , if your going to serve quarter pounders ( burgers) make sure they are quarter pounder's. . I mean our money's good enough to take , so it's vice versa ain't it ? . Look after your customers, and they will look after you ok?. Yours sincerely a chef

Poor. Orders bacon Brie and cranberry panini. Asked for no onion on salad due to allergy. As plate was bough to table could see onion on it. Sent back. There was also no cranberry sauce on the panini didn’t send back as on a time constraint and lost faith in staff by this point and no one asked how the food was. Will not return. Panini was poor in general would say a cheap imitation not genuine more of a roll.

Disappointed Have always stopped here for lunch when visiting Exmouth. Sadly the chicken panini I was served was overcooked and burnt. I relayed this to a member of staff to show I had eaten around the burnt bit. I expected a member of staff to come and discuss my complaint but was ignored. Not very good customer service. Sadly will not be returning 😞

Visited a couple of times with my partner when we were on a weeks holiday early July: had their all day veggie breakfast, coffee included (no extra charge for soya milk unlike some of the coffee shops in Exmouth), excellent quality hot food, friendly staff, pleasant and clean surroundings and very good value. Would recommend.

The location of this cafe and bakery is very convenient for the shops, buses etc, which is why my wife and I popped in for a quick afternoon drink. Having been totally ignored by the first two of the three staff behind the counter, the third one finally asked what we wanted. I’d seen apple juice on the menu outside and asked for it, only to be told to go back to a chilled cabinet by the door and pick up what was a very basic plastic bottle of juice. I was then given a cheap glass to pour it into. My wife’s pot of tea was ok. We then had to suffer listening to three of the female staff chatting together very loudly for most of the time we were there. Disappointing.

This is a great store & café based on the outskirts of Ottery St Mary right next to the garden centre. The shop has lots of healthy options and local food, drink and crafts. There is good supply of fresh fruit & Veg, cheese, local eggs and a great selection of cakes & bread baked within store. After a god shop or look around head into the café for coffee & cake, sandwiches & their own quiches, they even do chips now! If visiting the garden centre or passing by on the A30 take a detour you will not be disappointed. Good food, good choice and great staff. We love it!

Breakfast was certainly an interesting experience. The incredibly friendly staff certainly had their own unique system of handling groups of over 4 people so you can imagine their delight when we arrived with a group of 20. Potential customers should be aware that you categorically must not order for yourself but through a middle party instead. If you try to order your own food or drink I suggest you speak to the responsible person in your party for them to relay your order to the very lovely rosey cheeked attendant at the till. In my case our responsible person was only 3 foot away from me but we made sure to follow the rules as to not cause an eruption of chaos in the kitchen. When I received my apple juice, I really admired its antique look. The sediment at the bottom and the out of date use by label really added to the chic worn vibe that this hip establishment embellishes by the bucket load. The cleaner is obviously very lucky and has had a long holiday, (possibly to another farm shop the costa del Sol). I say this as the building has acquired an impressive collection of cobwebs in their absence. Now the main event BREAKFAST!!! Everyone likes to start their day with a hearty meal, I feel the two members of staff whole heartedly agreed with me as they left a few extras in some of our food to make sure we didn’t go hungry. One fantastic long black hair that I’m sure is packed full of protein (looked like a moustache hair, but I’m not a barber). One no longer buzzing fly that gave my crispy bacon that extra crunch. I also stayed hydrated through the water that was served to me from a designer tea pot that had amazing tea colouring and stains within in. Once I had consumed my meal I made sure to use the toilet facilities to rid my ablutions apart from the skid marks and the mixtures of cobwebs and urine the toilets were delightful. In all it was an unforgettable magical experience. Shamefully I am stuggling to give it 5 stars and there was a small chip in the plate my breakfast was served on. 4 stars.

This was our first visit to Lyme Regis and after having a little look around we were all getting a little hungry so we decided to stop off at Jane's Cafe on the parade. There were five of us and we all shared two boxes of cheesy chips together, I can't comment on the drinks that the others had but the cheesy chips were very nice. Good position sizes although could have been a little bigger but the chips were nice and there was plenty of grated cheese on top - I expect it would have been even better if it was melted slightly! There were plenty of places to sit and eat with nice views over the beach. The only negative comment from a family member was that the staff were a little slow serving the drinks but the food was ready pretty quickly and it was hot which was the main thing! A good little place to stop for a quick drink and something to eat.....

Had Posh Nosh buffet at a wedding I attended and it was excellent. Plenty of food served buffest style for a more relaxed wedding meal. Food was very fresh with local ingredients and suited every dietary requirement and preference. canapé's before were excellent as well and served very elegantly. the leftovers were also brought out later on in the evening to avoid food waste and provided a good evening snack. cooked fresh on the premise as well with the team working hard throughout the whole day. Highly recommend (can only speak as a guest though).
