Friendly and accommodating staff when we got in with a baby/pram. Tasty Tandori, spicy Tika Masala! Naan not the best. Good prices. Music may be a bit loud for some.

Suggested by a friend for an excellent Indian meal. What a lovely old pub, with an Indian atmosphere. Great welcome from the landlord and Meena. A delightful evening meal at very acceptable prices.

Had been meaning to visit this pub for a long time and finally got around to it. Very impressed with the welcome and strict Covid regime that they have in place and rigorously enforced. It was nice to see and very reassuring. Had the chilli and garlic wings as a starter which were delicious. Went for the chicken curry as a main. Again, delicious food and beautifully cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We eat out a lot and have tried many Indian restaurants. This was definitely one of the best we’ve ever experienced. As a consequence we will definitely be returning on a regular basis as there is nowhere I would rather eat Indian anywhere locally. Well done to Andy and his team. They are dedicated to deliver a great customer experience.

Discovered this through a recommendation with my cousin, and have been coming back ever since. The food really is truly authentic and perfect balance of flavour and spice. I certainly have more of the menu to explore yet but heavily advise the tandoori whole chicken and lamb chops. It's a nice location, friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I first stepped in the door over a year ago, feeling a bit apprehensive as most would. That was quickly turned around due to being quickly made comfortable by welcoming staff and other customers. The ambience touched me, as such, I continue to be a regular customer. The owners are quite frankly Awesome! Food has always been to an excellent standard, chilli garlic wings I recommend!! An extremely happy customer Sean

I was staying at a nearby Travelodge and wandered in for dinner. It was a lovely surprise to see that the menu was mostly Indian food. The food was excellent, easily as good as any other Indian restaurant, but with the added bonus of being served in a lovely little beer garden with a wide range of beer/lager/cider to choose from. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We chose this restaurant as had seen great reviews. It is easily reached and located in a small village close to Heathrow airport and Slough. On first entering, I realised the building was a converted pub with typical separate rooms away from the bar area. The fire was on but in truth the first impression was not one with any great welcome. The room was lacking charm caused by bright lights, a massive tv with football showing and tatty looking furniture. Then bar area in the corner looked equally uninviting. It was as if the entire place had a brief make over during its conversion with no real thought to whether it’s a pub or restaurant. The menu was well presented and we particularly enjoyed the spicy wings, though they were similar to those from a fast food outlet so again no real unique imagination there. My main was a byriani. I enjoyed it, but it’s difficult to mess this up. My friend however, did not enjoy her main course and being Asian herself felt it was a let down compared to other local restaurants. Staff without doubt were very pleasant. It is family run and speaking with them, you can see they are trying hard but need help in order to create something really unique with some wow factor. I say this because in the immediate surrounding areas, you can get authentic Indian food, cheaper priced and somehow more atmospheric with no bombardment of football on a TV, which could be heard in all rooms. My final comment relates to the bathroom area which again needs some investment to cleanliness and it was freezing in there. In summary, I’m sorry to report that im not in a rush to return for I believe the local competition does it better.

Came here as I fancied a decent pint and a curry. Was not disappointed on either count. Well cooked pappadoms served with pickles and salad, superb lamb aracia with a roti and a pint of Guinness , just what I wanted. Its a shame it is not nearer home as I am staying in the area to fly out from Heathrow tomorrow.

First time here and being an Indian I tend to find it difficult locating good, proper indian food in and around Surrey. The Crown and Kitchen is 'Punjabi' food (not like most restaurants which are 'Bangladeshi') in Surrey and I have to say I was impressed. Nice location, nice people and great food. :)

This place I come to all The time now because they have got the best tasting Indian food around. The atmosphere is great and the staff a friendly. There is nothing to moan as complain about. The food again, was and is amazing. I don't really like Indian food but I seriously love the food for texture and taste. With Indian food you can get dodgy stomachs next day or later from having it. But this place, Iv been here loads now and I'm still waiting. They use authentic ingredients, produce and don't cut corners like other places. Please readers go to this pub for the food. Has a beautiful beer garden and has a picnic feeling to it. The locals are friendly. Great value for money with the great size portions. No complaints what so ever. Great job.

Authentic quality Indian food, great service. Don't miss this place, it is really surprising as it doesn't seem like a pub or an Indian restaurant, probably because it's both. This is an Arnie place - I'll be back.

This old pub has been closed for quite sometime until a new manager took control a few months ago. He and his family have turned it around into a very comfortable venue that specialises in Asian style cuisine.

The Crown and Kitchen does Indian cuisine proud. We've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed, you could chose anything from their well considered menu and be on to a winner. The masala chops are particularly good. Service is always with a smile, personal and professional. The pub itself is full of traditional charm. Well worth a visit.

Every-time I have come to this pub, I have very much loved the atmosphere which is always warm and welcoming! The food is always top of the range and of superb quality, which is surprising given that it is located in a little corner away from the business of the rest of the surrounding area. It is a hidden gem in this village!

We’ve enjoyed eating in & having takeaway at Maidenhead Spice since moving to the area 3 years ago but last night they really outdid themselves. I placed an online order and in the comment section asked if they could advise which dishes were gluten free on collection as we had a coeliac with us. They rang me minutes after placing the order (twice, I missed the first call) to discuss and allowed a substitution as one main meal contained gluten. We did keep the onion bhajis (for the non coeliacs)- and found they had written on the bag that the contents included wheat flour. We were very appreciative of the communication & care.
