Hazel was absolutely brilliant. She was so warm, welcoming and so accommodating to our needs. Fantastic friendly member of staff. We almost left due to my mum being a very fussy eater and not finding something on the menu for herself but Hazel helped us get exactly what my mum wanted to eat and we couldn’t appreciate it more. Thanks hazel!

Came for lunch with some friends midweek and we had Hazel serving us. She was really accommodating and helpful and really friendly. Let us know about the harvester app which he didn't know about. 10/10 service would come back 🙂

Disappointing from opening the door. It took 3 people to decide who was dealing with us! Given one menu. Asked if there was a set menu - No. Subsequently saw other menus on other tables! Asked again and were provided with the set festive menu. Vegetarian option balanced bowl with vegan chicken (Inedible). No one asked us how our food was and on leaving mentioned the food above. We were told that no one liked it! We had a family come in next to us help themselves to salad bar bowls and had drinks. we didn't see them pay. I don't think we will be returning.

Hazel was a wonderful host and made sure we were Attended to throughout the entire visit. Food was wonderful also!

Great place for a decent meal The portions are always more than adequate and they always try to squeeze you in even when they're busy It's becoming our new favourite for an evening meal out

Visited last week for a rare date night, had steak and mixed grill which was excellent. Love the salad bar, so nice to tuck straight in. Service great, super friendly waitress Hazel was really attentive and quick. Thank you!

Food was great and Hazel was attentive but atmosphere and experience ruined but pushing the need for carrying out a review at the table and grabbing our telephone to do it. Told that management was making them do reviews which was uncomfortable. Please find a better way to this.

Lovely meal out to celebrate our birthdays. Excellent service from Hazel, really attentive and helpful. Only issue was the heating was on when we first arrived and it was too hot sitting next to the radiator.

Was having a great meal with friends .Hazel was our waitress everything was fine she asked would we review all agreed them she stood over us telling us to give 5dtarts as she needed 10reviews and it was the mangers first day. Before leaving she came up to us again saying it hadn’t gone through such a shame as it wasn’t what I would of expected we also noticed that it was every table that she served standing over as they wrote there review.

We were enjoying a lovely lunch at the harvester, fresh salad and hot Main. Server Hazel was lovely and friendly but towards the end she made our meal uncomfortable when she asked us to ‘do her a favour’ and leave a review then and there. Asking us to take out our smartphones and talk us through each step ensuring we had completed it. Not what I expected after eating and mid conversation! Funny thing is, if she had have just asked us to leave a review and left us to it, I would have given a 5 star review. Such a shame.

We had dinner in this Harvester. We arrived so late in a dark night around 8pm. There was not clear vehicle information collection sign on the table ot cashier. And nobody reminded us and came to collect our vehicle plate information. Two weeks late we recieved a parking fine notice for the park in their parking area. The car was rented. Thus, there was a admin fee from the car rental company. I called and requested to cancel this parking fine notice. But I was told sometimes they forgot to remind their customer and collect their vehicle information, and I needed to take the reciept to visit this restaurant again and provide the relevant information. But I live far away (more than 100 miles). Finally, they gave me their email address and agreed I could send a picture of the receipt and the fine letter to them. They would handle this. I did as they told me. But two weeks later, there was no any progress at all. In the thed week, I just passed by and drove additional 1hr to this restaurant to show the information. Given their failure to inform, I requested a compensation for the admin fee from the car rental compaly. I was told the manager would deal with the parking fine notice and will reply me email to discuss the compensation issue in one week. And the parking control company cancelled the fine notice based on my own appeal sent to the company directly. Unfortunately, I have not recieved any news from their manager so far. I am extremely disappointed with how this restaurant handled this situation.

We often have a mini family reunion at this Harvester, it being central to us all. However, after our latest disappointing visit we wont be coming here again. When we asked for a drinks menu we were told none was available because the prices are currently being 'updated'. We noticed that the main menu now has large price increases on it. A Veggie burger being £17.99p now! The menu items had also shrunk - there were only 2 steaks available and both were overpriced - we ordered the 12oz Ribeye at £23.99p each. One of the salad bowls we were brought was dirty so we had to ask for it to be changed. At the salad bar, there were only 3 dips available - we were told they were out of stock of all others. When the meals came there were things missing from them! We had not been advised of this in advance or offered any substitution. The steaks came without the grilled tomatoes and the burger came without the hash brown. When queried we were told that they were out of them - but no adjustment was made to the price to allow for this or any remedy offered other than being told that there were tomatoes we could get from the salad bar! Overall we feel the whole place has gone downhill badly with staff not offering proper service or customer care. However, one waiter - Umi - did his best to ensure that we were served promptly and with care and courtesy, despite him not being our main waiter. We had summoned his help as our own waitress was nowhere to be seen when we wanted more drinks. He later served us with our desserts too - again our own waitress not being around when needed. He is a credit to you, Harvester and you are very lucky to have him. Sadly, your increased price and poor attitude re missing items, and lowered standards mean that we will not be visiting you again.

Awful meal visited on the 4th Oct booked a few days before as we normaly do when visiting family . After being shown to seat no one came had to get up and find a waitress been forgotten. Food was left under heat lamps all dried out when recieved it. Very unlikely we will ever use you again after coming to you for many years. Awful service and food .

Been using this Harvester while visiting Bristol, terrible service, had to go and get a waitress as they forgot we're there! Food had been left under the heat lamps too long, very dry. No lunch set menus now and expensive.

Was very disappointed at our greeting service. We're told to sit in bar area as table wasn't ready. No one available to get a drink at bar. sat waiting till 10 mins after our time slot when hubby asked again, we were told our table had gone but would put on another one. Area was noisy we were seated near salad bar. Didn't have the food we wanted. Made do with our 2nd choice. Food arrived reasonable time,was hot and well presented. Very disappointed with the floor area near our table, it looked like it could have done with a good scrub especially by skirting boards. The toilets were equally dirty and floors and paintwork needed a very good clean and fresh coat of paint on walls and woodwork. Very disappointed 😞

I live locally and always used the Harvester for a social drink or a birthday meal for the kids etc recently a group of 10 for a 12th birthday. I recently got charged £170 for driving into your car park. I got out of my car read the signs got back in and drove off. On this occasion I didn't eat at your restaurant. In order to use the shops and restaurants around we need somewhere to park. As part of that local hub I would expect I could park in your car park. At some point someone from Harvester thought it would be a good Idea to let a money grabbing parking firm on their site. As a result I will never spend any money with your brand again. Im sure you do not care but It will make a difference somewhere to your company and to someone. Just like the recent TGI Fridays chain you will need the support of your regulars. Its not one visit that makes the difference its the regular visits that add up. Good luck with annoying your locals and customers , there is too much choice out there to be mediocre these days and get away with it.

What you would expect from a harvester. Food is fine, nothing special but perfect for a quick meal to fill you up. Our little boy loves the salad bar and it saves him from waiting ages to eat when he's hungry.
