Lovely place to eat, hadn't been to a harvest in what feels a lifetime. I wish the salad was it it used to be and the rolls now don't seem to be where they should be! Hopefully it was just a one time thing.

Me and partner came here with family for meal I phone to book a table the staff was very helpful and very polite on the phone to me. When we came to order our food our waitress was very friendly and helpful too. And we all very enjoyed our meals. Specially the salad and the main meal and it's very good value for money I would highly recommend here and I would definitely come back

Got put on small table for 4 people, no room to put plates, felt very squished. Dirty fries don't order hardly any pulled pork on them waste of money, skewers 4 bits of chicken with blacked pepper things rubbish meal for high price to pay. Won't return.

Aimee was an amazing waitress- thank you so much for your service and friendly hospitality. My son did struggle today with certain texture of foods (autistic) and was on the verge of a wobbly moment. Aimee was an absolute star in not only being able to lighten the mood- but made my son feel really at ease. She is an asset to harvester. Thank you Aimee. We will be back.

Went with my family, I’m sorry I hate to say it but it was a little on the poor side when it came down to portions. There were hardly any chips on any of our plates! My son had a child’s meal and he literally had around 10 chips! I chose Tex Mex chips with my meal and there was so much sauce on the top. Lots of guacamole and salsa and no chips! I think the large amount of guacamole was to conceal the fact that there was hardly any chips in the bowl. Such a shame as normally I love the Harvester and they are generally good with their portions. I’m sorry but it was very overpriced. If you are going to be that tight you should be charging alot less. You can eat in another pub for half of this price and a better portion. I shall be going there next time! Also I witnessed a customer at the salad bar using one pair of tongs for every item that he put on his plate, so yes no good if you have an allergy. The staff didn’t seem bothered at all about being on it. The staff that served seemed polite, that was the main positive, so well done to the waitresses.

Visited the harvester recently. Found the meals to be overpriced and nothing special at all. They clearly are very understaffed and the young waitresses who work there perhaps need a little training on how to deal with customers. No smiles, no friendliness, almost arguing with customers when customers comment that their hot drink is cold. Also now waiting for a parking fine because apparently I should have entered my registration details on the system on arrival. Perhaps members of staff could mention this to customers upon entering the premises. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment as when I eat out, I do it as a special treat and unfortunately there was nothing special about this visit at all.

Visited 9th August for early dinner. Husband had garlic mushrooms, steak, I ordered the mushrooms also, gammon steak well done. Mushrooms passable, steak ok, gammon not well done, very chewy, snotty egg, hard Luke warm chips. Explained the issues and asked for replacement as inedible. Waitresses apologetic and took back to the kitchen. After 20 minutes returned with new meal. This time the gammon was a brown colour, not like gammon at all, cut into it to find it was raw in places. Was offered free dessert, said no thanks, just wanted to leave. Paid for steak meal and left wished I hadn't now, as the whole experience was not pleasant. Would not revisit nor would I recommend.

Booked ahead. Very busy. Excellent steak and trimmings. Friendly staff. Harvester group.

Came to the crown instead of our usual havester (snuff mill) which is superb. Greeting was poor to start with. With the greeter demanding any vouchers we were using. When I finally did understand what they were demanding, I was made to feel stupid when I asked did they want to scan them. We were using the kids eat for a £1. Our server was lovely but the food was dreadful. The salad was OK but the bread rolls that the kids love were stale and inedible. Our mains were bad. I had the dirty burger which again stale bun and over cooked burger. Upgraded the chips to dirty fries....soggy, drenched in luke warm cheese with tiny sprinkle of bacon and onions. Poor The kids burgers were stale over cooked. Soggy chips. The cheesy garlic bread looked like it had been cooked by the sun. Sent this back immediately for it to never materialise again. Had this removed from the bill at the end. My wife had the bbq burger which funnily was OK. All in all terrible experience.

I'm not usually one to complain, but this food was absolutely awful. The chips were soggy, and the burger was just gross. No other words for it. We were sat next to another couple complaining about the food, and we took it with a pinch of salt, but when ours came, we really understood why they were so unhappy. We gave back a full plate of untouched food, and we weren't even asked for a reason why. We waited over half an hour for our plates to be cleared. Then, when they were eventually cleared, we were told we had to leave because they needed the table back. The staff also huddled around, very clearly talking about the fact that we hadn't left yet. Rightly so, I wasn't leaving when I had a full drink left. I wouldn't recommend this place due to the unprofessional staff who like to huddle in corners and very clearly talk about customers and storm passed us to clean table when we did leave without a word.

The food is always good and we are normally served by Leah who is a credit to the establishment. She is always so helpful and kind, she always makes sure we have everything we need and we never have to wait long to order or for our bill. She always put me and my family at ease, due to her cheerful nature. I travel from another city to visit this restaurant regularly due to the great food and service I always receive. The whole team are lovely including Hazel, who is also helpful, friendly and kind.

Visited with my wife & daughter and looked after by the lovely Hazel. She explained the Chicken Tuesday which both my wife & I took advantage of. Unfortunately my daughter’s order was wrong & had to go back as she ordered a beef burger but a chicken came instead. Took quite a while as there was a lot of complaining & disagreements from the kitchen staff that was rather loud. On top of that the manager was complaining to a member of staff about a rude customer. The meal was nice but the goings on could have been done quieter or not at all as we’re paying customers wanting a nice meal without the shouting etc. as I’ve said Hazel apologised on behalf of the others which she didn’t have to do.

Staff were friendly, great selection of food. Great salad bar. We were really disappointed as the website says there's a play area for the children but when we arrived the staff said there wasn't one. Good food good concept, maybe a bit overpriced but still nice

The waitress Ammie made our night as so friendly and helpful . We had booked the round table months ago but found someone was sat there (not good if we booked it for 6pm )we had to sit on tables pushed together .Also we were booked for Christmas festive meal but no turkey ,which was disappointing as only thing we liked on the festive menu was turkey and steak and steak was an extra £5 which was also not good as we had no other option .

Meet once a month with friends .days on app and website that it shuts at 10 pm this evening we had to leave 8.30 .we were served out main while still eating our starters and then most lights went off about 8 pm .waitress Amie was apologetic as food was served too soon as chef had prepared it quickly .shame we were still eating starter that arrived just after we sat down with out salad ,so stock pile of food on table . Salad ,starter ,and main all at once .not a good experience.why it shuts 10 pm then shut 8.30 pm

It's a Harvester - typical chain pub, adequate food, reasonable service, relatively good value for money. Salad bar was a bit disappointing (maybe we caught it at a bad time). Looks like a big menu, but in reality it's mainly a few key elements served in a variety of ways - tasty enough, but a bit limited. Service was OK, got the impression everyone was rushed of their feet.

We had family evening meal Saturday and it's fair to say it was perfect grandson and I had mixed grill and everything we had was spot on, and we had aimee as our server she was also ace thank you all, see you soon.
