Average harvester, ridiculous price for soft drinks, will not be supporting harvester in the future.

Chardonnay is a great asset to this restaurant. Happy, friendly and helpful

I rang up the restaurant as I thought I had ordered chicken bacon waffles on my uber order and turns out I had only ordered bacon, the person on the phone advised they didn’t have any chicken, however when I received my order there was some chicken with a note to say they had the chicken and it was free of charge! Such kind amazing service to do this and made our mornings! Thank you so much to the kind guy on the phone!! 🫶🏼

We had a lovely meal this evening at the crown inn harvester are waitress shanaya was amazing and outstanding very good at her job . We asked for the chefs names ruby ,James, lynee the food was perfect . Highly recommend the strawberry choc pot and new York style cheesecake absolutely delicious. Will.be returning

Great food made even better by our lovely waiter Ben nothing was to much trouble not just for us but for all the other tables he was serving, so rare to have a happy friendly waiter these days.

Absolutely unacceptable! Deliveries with partners aways late and one person saying 5 min you wait and after 5 min another person saying 15min. We get paid by completing an order, so either work on your timings with orders or just opt out from delivery partners. You just waste people's time.

The food was cold and tasteless, the environment is in desperate need of updating and deep cleaning. The ladies toilets the door frames are rotten wallpaper peeling of the walls, walls are grubby if I saw the toilets first I wouldnt have eaten in the place 😳 Staff ok polite and engaging

This little inn was a halfway point for our Bath to Bristol walk. It seems a lot of the customers were on road trips. Now I’d never been to a “Harvester” before but one look at the menu and I knew what it was, in that hard to explain emphemeral way. Far too many choices for one kitchen. A crowd pleasing restaurant intended to fill up a family. We had the free salad bar. It had a great variety of different choices. Decently fresh. I had the original combo and the gf had ap pitta wrap. Original combo. Good flavour but a bit boring. Slightly dry chicken and not enough bbq flavour on the ribs (I’m not talking sauce, I’m talking marinade) The best thing ok the plate were the honeyed corn potato cubes, which had an interesting depth and complexity about them. Onion and sage chips were also very good. The Gfs pita, I was informed was dry. If she had been informed about the sauce bar she could have avoided the issue. We had an issue with the ketchup. The bottle on our table was awfully vinegary tasting. I looked at the back and found it had expired based on the date sticker on the back. If we’d been explained how everything worked ( it was our first time) then our experience emight have gone better. You may think this is a lot of complaining for a 4 star review, but too beginner I expected much worse and wa a pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Came I last night with my partner for dinner. The place was nice and tidy. Our waiter, Ben was amazing from start to finish. His knowledge of the menu, his recommendations were on point not to mention his humour. Food came out, it was plentiful and most of all delicious. I will definitely be back not only for the food but the great hospitality shown by Ben, he is a credit to your company.

We came to the Harvester for dinner. There was plenty of parking, we didn't have to wait for a table even though it wa busy. Our server Ben was great, he was friendly, polite, funny and provided great customer service. The food was really good and well cooked. An all round good experience!

I have eaten here many times and have always found the staff friendly and helpful and the food good and well cooked. There was a query on the menu and it was expertly answered by Aimee which made the whole visit go really well.

Cheap and cheerful mass produced chain restaurant Everything is relatively uniform, but that's where it scores highly as the standards are great Nice and simple food, served swiftly by a very nice member of the team We interacted with several of the team and they were all very friendly We were also contacted after we left as we forgot something which was nice

The service I received from Kelly, one of the staff members in there, was very good. Very friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere was very good, because there weren't many people in there seeing that I went at lunchtime. The food was very good and I'll definitely have it again!

I had such a great experience thanks to our amazing waiter! From the moment we were seated, he was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Discontinue the salmon. Poor vedgitarieon menue. Dry tasteless bread rolls. Expensive refill drinks.

Food was good but a little pricey. If I wasn't in the mood for overly peppy staff I would choose it over TGI's.......just. I would say you get a little better/ more at TGI's.

Not only did we have to wait for our server to acknowledge us (Ebony) we were not asked once if we needed drinks. The jacket potato was completely burnt and when we asked for another we were told it was the last one of the day, we ate at 1.45pm! When we needed to split the bill as 6 of us ate were told we couldn’t. I would not recommend

Very disappointed. A Birthday Lunch for my wife. Her Salmon Rice Bowl was good but my 7 oz Gammon was tough and undercooked. The Quality of the salad bar has deteriorated over the years and only refillable soft drinks are now available at over £4 each. If you like Harvesters (which are generally good) I would recommend the sister inn in Stapleton Bristol where the food is excellent and service friendly.

We visited on Saturday the 5th of April. We thought the prices were very expensive for what we had. My daughter said she only wanted cheese and pasta or cheesy chips but they said they couldn't do that. So she had some fish fingers that she didn't enjoy as they were burnt. We did say but it never got sorted. We heard from another waitress to say to her colleague the chicken would be a 20 minute wait but by then we had already ordered as we weren't told so we had to wait about 30 minutes. My wife ordered haddock which she really enjoyed and the chicken was very nice after the wait. My wife enjoyed the pudding. Ive worked in catering for 40 years and i thought the set up where the food was being prepared was poor and also one of the chefs I saw preparing the food didn't have gloves on and he was pushing cheese on top of a burger with his fingers which was not very nice. Overall they were things we enjoyed and things we didn't enjoy.

we arrived and waited at the desk for fifteen minutes before anyone offered to find us a table. we were then told to sit near the bar, as waiters were limited. we ordered our food at the bar, and found that they were out of many of the meals we had requested. after re thinking and re ordering our meals, we waited upwards of an hour, and then an extra half an hour for desert to arrive. our food was dry and cold. would not reccomend.

Took the kids and the wife here for mothers day. The starters and salad were lovely. We had ordered from the mothers day menu. When we asked for the bill the server hadn't put the mothers day discounts on. And then we were told there was a £5 extra charge for the ribeye. She didn't even know this until checking the prices as we said that was alot of money. We paid and left. But even though the food was tasty the staff didn't know or tell us about the extra charge for the steaks

Really impressed with the service here today. The two female staff that were so friendly and thanks to Aaron for the help regarding my issue with sulphites. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and safe, which I really appreciated. Nice to see such care taken — thank you.

I had the pleasure of being served by Hazel, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the moment we arrived, she was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. Hazel’s knowledge, efficiency, and warm demeanor truly set her apart as we spoke about my A levels. It’s rare to encounter such genuine hospitality, and Hazel absolutely excels at making customers feel valued. I’ll definitely be back.

I haven't been to a harvester for years but we decided to give it a try with the kids. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the seating comfortable. Shanaya (I think that was her name), our waitress was absolutely fantastic with the kids and they really liked her interacting with them. I thought as we don't go often id go big or go home with the ridiculous trio thing, ribs, chicken and a beef shortrib with onion rings and fries. It was ridiculous big, completely fair for the £27 odd price tag. The food was great, short rib a little tough, but it takes hours and hours to get them falling off the bone and harvester isn't a dedicated bbq restaurant. Having said that it was still incredibly tasty. The kids ate absolutely loads of their meals they had chosen which was fantastic, even if they did make retching noises at the thought of a salad bar 😆. Got a 25% off voucher and fed the family for just over £55 which to be honest given the quality and quantity of food I was impressed with. (Especialy with my ridiculous meal) the kids got a desert with their meals, I was surprised to see that they offered a vegan "ice cream" option which was wonderful as my youngest is lactose intolerant which meant she could join in and have a sundae with her sister! We will definitely be back!

We came here for my dad's birthday meal. We were a big group in (around 14 people) and had a lovely meal. Our server Shanaya was absolutely amazing and super attentive. The food was absolutely gorgeous and our chefs - Ruby and Leanne - did an absolutely fabulous job. I went for the steak (medium rare). It was cooked to perfection. It was so juicy and flavourful, really hit the spot. The food came out so quickly which came to a surprise to us as we were still finishing some of our salad. Shanaya was super quick with getting food and making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the lovely meal. Definitely one to remember.
