Visited for a car meet, the meet was excellent as always, the venue like a lot of these look great, on closer inspection a lot of remedial work and cleaning needs to be done to the grounds and amenities etc.

We had our big day at Eastwood Park on the 21/06/2024 and all i can say is WOW! From the very first time we viewed it, to every time we went for a meeting, to our a big day we fell in love with the venue every time! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we knew straight away it was the vibe we wanted for our wedding! Throughout the planning process Angela was extremely helpful and made our dream day come to life, checking things in great detail to make sure the day ran without a hitch, and the team that co-ordinated our wedding on the day were absolutely fantastic! Vicky is an absolute angel and helped our day go fantastically, so supportive, reassuring, thoughtful and made some fantastic suggestions but never did anything without asking first, and checked on me (the bride) throughout the day to check if there was anything i needed. We could not have asked for a better wedding day, it was everything we wanted and more! Thank you Eastwood Park!❤️

Visited Eastwood park for a car event. My son is a ford fanantic and they had a car meet with a special for Fords. Plenty of Fords old and new, custom and not. Many other brands. Ferrari, Porsche. Specials Too. The setting itself was very nice, helped by the beautiful weather this Sunday morning. Food on the go in the shape of barbecue bacon ans sausage baps and tea and coffee. Ample parking for visitors. All in all a lovely experience.

"Eastwood Park Gloucestershire - Palace of Weddings is a magical place that captivates with its elegance and charm. I had the pleasure of attending a special breakfast with Porsche owners, which took place in this beautiful venue. The service was extremely professional, the food exquisite, and the atmosphere unforgettable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique venue for important events - Eastwood Park Gloucestershire is a true oasis of tranquility and luxury."

Eastwood Park is a fantastic venue for car enthusiasts, especially those who have a passion for Porsche vehicles. Today, the park hosted a breakfast event for Porsche enthusiasts, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The atmosphere at Eastwood Park was buzzing with excitement and camaraderie among fellow Porsche enthusiasts. The event brought together a diverse range of Porsche models, from classic vintage cars to the latest high-performance sports cars. It was a great opportunity for attendees to admire the beauty and engineering excellence of these iconic vehicles. In addition to the impressive display of Porsches, the event featured engaging discussions, informative presentations, and networking opportunities for enthusiasts to connect and share their love for the Porsche brand. The organizers did a fantastic job of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. Overall, the breakfast event at Eastwood Park was a resounding success, offering a perfect blend of automotive passion, community spirit, and Porsche excellence. I highly recommend this event to any Porsche enthusiast looking to connect with like-minded individuals and immerse themselves in the world of Porsche. It was a morning well spent, filled with memorable moments and a shared love for these remarkable vehicles.

If you're looking for a place to do training you could do a whole lot worse! The whole experience was pretty good... the training centre is great, the trainer we had (Merv) was good, the facilities are good. The accommodation is nice. It's an old stately home so it's a bit creaky and flakey... but I like that kind of thing. Food at both sites was top notch and everything was clean. I'm back there for more training in a couple of months and don't mind at all!

I think I've reviewed this venue before, but it would have been during COVID and before they finished their new training building. It's still a lovely place to go for training, the staff are helpful and cheerful, the new building is very well-presented while the original house and grounds are beautiful, the food is good, and the price for the accommodation (which includes the food!) wasn't bad at all. Thoroughly recommend staying over if you want to do some training.

I stayed at Eastwood park to attend a water hygiene course, arriving on the Sunday evening & leaving on the Friday afternoon. From the warm welcome to the goodbye, my stay was very enjoyable, the room I had was excellent, cleaned & restocked as required each day. Breakfast & lunch was served at the training centre a nice walk from the house, with the evening meal being served at the main house, all of which were of a very high standard. The bar was well stocked, along with a free vend hot drinks machine, so you want for nothing really. There's a games room & gym, plus you are more than welcome to walk or take a run around the grounds. All of the staff I met were very polite & helpful. I really enjoyed my weeks stay...👍🏻

What a lovely venue for our daughters wedding, from the moment we arrived we were greeted with drinks and canapés there was plenty of staff all doing different duties to make our day special. The wedding dinner was served on time, piping hot and plenty of food even for the biggest eaters and very nice and tasty , plenty of bar staff. The toastmaster was a must and everything ran smoothly. The resident disco was good and kept a busy dance floor from the first piece of music until the last. The whole place was immaculately clean, overnight rooms clean and tidy and breakfast was plentiful and again very nice. A big thank you to all at Eastwood Park you made our day very special

I hired out two large rooms and a large area of the outdoor grounds for a corporate summer party recently, and it was fantastic. We had opted for a upmarket garden party theme, complete with lawn games, an outdoor bar, a BBQ, and an outdoor Pimms stand, for capacity of approx. 90 people. The whole team is fantastic and incredibly accommodating. Every request we made, even the silliest and most annoying ones, were met with a fantastic attitude of trying to solve every problem. I don't know how you guys do it! You made the day seamless and so enjoyable, and you were so flexible and supportive regarding all of our ideas in the planning stage, and the production of it on the day. The food was delicious - even our Italian team was raving about it! It was far nicer than your standard event catering. The venue is beautiful and has big grounds for outdoor use. The venue and food prices are very reasonable - especially given the personable standard of service you receive. Would definitely recommend Eastwood Park. Thank you to Paul, Simon, Chloe and co.

MORE AT Google

Eastwood Park is lovely and a great destination for weddings, parties and events. Eastwood Park is spacious and has stunning grounds around the main building. Some of the rooms are modern and the decor is lovely, however some rooms look like they need a bit of an upgrade and a bit of love and attention. We went to Eastwood Park for afternoon tea and it was nice. It wasn’t the best I have ever had and also wasn’t the worst. When we arrived for afternoon tea we were told that they had it in the diary for a completely different time although the email confirmation confirmed the time we thought it was, and they had told us the kitchen was closed. When we showed them the correct time confirmed in an email they said they would sort it out. The afternoon tea cane with a glass of complimentary prosecco and a choice of tea or coffee and some cold water for the table. The afternoon tea itself was small and had a selection of sandwiches, a selection of cakes and a fruit scone each. Unfortunately we were not asked prior to our arrival if we had any dietary requirements so the sandwiches we were presented with weren’t suitable as 2 of our party were vegetarian and we all don’t eat fish which was a bit disappointing as 4 out of the 10 finger sandwiches contained fish and only 2 finger sandwiches were vegetarian. We did ask for more vegetarian sandwiches and they did bring us out more which was nice and were given a red pesto and salad sandwich and another cheese and chutney sandwich. The scones were ok, I’m not a massive fan of fruit scones so it would have been nice to have had 2 plain and 2 fruit, and I wasn’t a huge fan of the cakes. We sat outside to have our afternoon tea and although we were asked what drinks we wanted we weren’t actually talked through what we had with for our afternoon tea when it came out. Overall the afternoon tea wasn’t brilliant and I was a bit disappointed, but I was torn between rating Eastwood Park as a 3 or 4 as there are a lot of changes needed to make Eastwood Park betterand I felt like the staff really didn’t know what they were doing, but it has so much potential and the grounds are stunning.

Lovely location with stunning views. There had been a water leak recently so we were restricted to entering the venue from a side entrance and to using very well appointed external toilets. The food was reasonable and bar prices high along with several errors so check your receipts! We were attending a wedding and it certainly was a stunning building and location for it. Be warned though, DON'T have the "Master of Ceremonies" if offered for your function. He managed to annoy and rile a majority of the guests with his bossy and brusk manner and totally ignored the wishes of the bride and groom as to how they wanted their day to go for them and their guests. Fantastic location but could do better in some areas.

MORE AT Google

We attended a wedding at Eastwood Park in July and had a thoroughly lovely time. The wedding ran smoothly, the accomodation was good enough, and the breakfast was delicious. The venue is easy to get to, being relatively close to the M5, so it is a very convenient location for weddings and conferences. Despite this proximity to the motorway all you can really see from the terrace at the house is green fields and trees and, if you are lucky, a deer or two in the parkland. On our arrival we were greeted at the desk and handed the keys to our room which was ready a little early. This was very convenient for us to drop our bags off, but there was enough parking nearby that it wouldn't have been a big problem if it wasn't ready. The bedroom and en-suite shower room were big enough and although not particularly modern, they were clean. Because of the age of the house there has obviously been a bit of restructuring to make en-suite bathrooms happen, and that did mean there was some weird pipes and unusual plumbing noises, but nothing that disturbed our sleep. The reception lounge while we waited for the festivities to get under way was fairly spacious, but the serving hatch to the bar was a little small. It wasn't too bad before the ceremony while guests were still arriving, but it did lead to a bit of queuing afterwards while the photos were happening. The venue itself seems to be in the process of being updated, as the main hall was very modern and neutral, but some of the other rooms are looking a little older, although not overpoweringly dated. The ceremony/disco room especially had some jazzy patterns. If the weather had been better we would have probably spent more time outdoors, but because it was a bit grey and drizzly it meant that we were inside more, and the decor was more noticeable. The grounds are beautiful and it was a shame we couldn't make more of them.Once the photos had been taken we convened in the main hall for food. All the food was delicious and served quickly, and was enjoyed by everyone at the table. The later hog roast buffet was even better and we were pleased to see salady bits alongside the pork, which is more than you get at some venues. The bar in the main hall is bigger, and while a queue did form at times there is a lot more room to get served. The room for the disco was a good size, and we partied well into the night. The fireworks were a great highlight, and they put on a fab show.We slept well overnight, and arrived in good time for breakfast in the morning. There was the standard fare, with traditional English, yoghurts, pastries, juice, teas and coffees, and again it was all delicious. The quality of the food throughout our stay was very high. It was lovely to be able to talk to the other guests over breakfast, and then we checked out very smoothly and went on our way.Overall we had a lovely time at the wedding and it was a shame the weather wouldn't play ball. Everything ran very smoothly, the food was delicious, and the fireworks were a real highlight. I would say that it is worth staying over if you are a wedding guest, because partying late into the night and sharing breakfast with the other guests was great, but the rooms themselves weren't anything special.

We were there for a friends wedding, and that went very well and the couple were very happy. We had been offered overnight rooms including breakfast and despite living locally thought it would be lovely treat. Apparently the rooms in the main house are quite nice, but we were accommodated in the extension wing and for the price it was dismal ! It is in serious need of updating. We had a fairly long wait at reception, with vague flick of the arm our room was in that direction, down long corridors of peach painted walls ( a colour last seen at boarding school in the late 70's) Heavily glossed MDF doors, cheap furniture srewed to the floors. The room was fairly clean apart from mildew in the tiny shower. We were charged £42.00 per person making the room £84.00 per night B&B. !!!! Rip Off. The gardens were lovely and the place probably does very well out of weddings and conferences, but don't expect a warm and friendly reception or hope to find a little luxury. Either insist on a room in the House or negotiate very hard for a fair room price.

I attended a friends wedding here, the ceremony itself was lovely and the room used was o.k, small but adequate, nicely decorated. The after 'party' or gathering was a little strange, rooms were not big enough to accommodate everyone so we had to go into different rooms to socialise. It wasn't a problem to wander and mingle but most people ended up outside in the garden, which was the area with enough space to gather. They had a micro bar to get drinks but it felt like one of those old serving hatches people had in their houses in the 50's/60s/70's. The location itself is lovely but I get the impression that the surrounding natural beauty is a large part of the enjoyment factor rather than the building. I do understand that the building being historic, there isn't a great deal that can be done to change its layout, however, i'm not sure it's suitable for all weddings based on that. I stayed overnight in one of their rooms. It's was a single occupancy room. Small but quaint, it was completely let down by the wobbly, small, old bed. There is no excuse for that in this day and age other than cost saving. You can get perfectly decent small room beds now-a-days so I won't accept any justification that because it's a small room it needs a horrid bed.The decor is also naff, they have tried to keep it in style with the building but in doing so, it comes across as stuffy, out of date, stale and smells the same to match. The breakfast room is adequate but nothing special, the food was same old and didn't appear to have any angle e.g. local produce etc just your average ready meal hotel breakfast.I wouldn't have a wedding here myself but I would probably have a business trip, conference or small gathering. Which I think is what it would be much more suited to. If they can sort out the dated bedrooms.

The location and views make up for any other negative qualities this place may have. I attended a wedding here last weekend, and it was a lovely event. The rooms are a little dated and I have definitely stayed in better, but I spent little time in the room and as said, the location was perfect. The food that was served during the wedding was also high quality, although the breakfast wasn't the same standard. All in all, a lovely stay.

I write this in the spirit of helping a much valued venue move up a notch.Newly retired I went for a Christmas Lunch with fellow retired professionals at Eastwood Park. A beautiful location and grand old house. First impressions were that it was a little dated but that could be sold as "traditional". The tables layouts were excellent, each with a central candle and this gave confidence we were in for a good lunch.Sadly it went downhill from here. The candles remained unlit as a fact and metaphorically. Almost all the staff remained distant and un-engaged including the senior staff member who barked that dinner was served, failing to smile or be at all aware we were there for a good time. The food was average at best, overcooked vegetables and manufactured giant potatoes, followed by imported "puddings" and warm cream. Taste was a long way from this place. The bar was expensive and the staff did swell in numbers when needed but failed to smile or engage customers. Asking for water was a challenge and seemed to be "inconvenient" outside serving times., it was warm tap-water, adding ice was too late. No bottled chilled water was available (short sighted in view of the profit margins on it).The background music was loud at the bar end....not everyone likes Noddy Holder and co belting out nauseous Christmas rock. The best part of the event was the company, intelligent former professionals who may or may not have felt the same. Maybe all retired people are treated this way and some people get used to it. I will not accept it and try to ensure it doesn't happen again.I hope Eastwood Park learn from this review. New investment is required in upgrading the venue and the operational management. New standard uniforms for the staff and some training in people skills perhaps? When I see better reviews I may return but until then........

A group of around forty of us booked a Sunday Lunch in this lovely country house. We were politely greeted on arrival and drinks were served in a separate bar area before lunch. The dining room was laid out beautifully. The food was good quality but unfortunately not piping hot by the time everyone was served. I had been to Eastwood Park several times before and would certainly go again.

Organised as a treat which subsequently became an ordeal.Initial impressions were that major refurbishment was long overdue.Staff pleasant and helpful but no compensation for a carvery inadequately heated and served on tepid plates. In mitigation the meat was good but remainder lacking in imagination. Some aspects however were inexcusable, wine presented without ice bucket mismatched glasses,I ask you?In all,at best,a mediocre experience not to be repeated and would strongly advise potential patrons to look elsewhere.

Attended a charity ball at this historic house and enjoyed a wonderful evening. The reception room was slightly cramped for the amount of guests and the "cash only" bar caught a few guests buy surprise, however the venue was pedal for the event and we were soon seated in the dining room where we enjoyed a very tasty three course dinner and I must say, the roast beef was cooked perfectly. The wine list was slightly on the high side for the bottles available but we soon forgot this with a decent live band and good sized dance floor. Overall a great evening which we thoroughly enjoyed and a great venue.

We visited as part of a wedding party. The sun was shining so views from the back were gorgeous. The wedding was great, it's clear the staff know what they're doing in terms of organisation. The rooms were adequate for the number of guests, the decoration was good. Food was average but of course very difficult to satisfy 80 diners in one go. The bar was dreadful, poor selection, overpriced (by some margin!) and inexperienced staff. Overall a great day for the wedding party but I do feel we were lucky with the weather. It certainly doesn't feel like a place I'd drop back for lunch or dinner, the food/bar experience felt dated.

I attended my best friends wedding as I was his best woman. The grounds and outside of the building is very y impressive but the staff have no personality and the man behind reception was verging on rude. I asked if there was anyone to help take my luggage to my room I was informed they do not do that also there is not a lift which I found very strange I was on the first floor my room was tiny with a single bed the mattress felt as if it was made of concrete. I was as little upset as my friend had been assured by the wedding planner I would have a double room when this was pointed out to 'Mr Miserable' said I could have one but I would have to pay an extra £42. I found this abit richas my friends had hired the venue for 24 hours so I declined his offer The rooms are very hot and the bathroom is tiny with a shower and one very thin very small bath towel. The windows barely open apparently to stop you throwing yourself out 'after meeting Mr Miserable I can see why!' My hairdresser came to do my hair it was so hot I called reception to ask for a cold Coke but was tolld "we are a conference centre we do not do room service but the bar opens in 10 minutes" there is a total lack of customer service and if they are only a conference centre and cannot offer a high quality customer experience why offer weddings where people are paying thousands of pounds but giving a dire experience to guests. I also asked if I could have a fan for my room as it was so hot but was told they do not do that either which is laughable how much does a small fan cost. After a terribly uncomfortable night on my rock hard single bed the breakfast was nice but the tables were set up like a school dining room with tables with 10 place settings yet again not offering the choice of a table for 2 etc. My advice would be never to stay here and the management need to stop offering this as wedding venue if they cannot provide basic comforts and a good customer experience.

We visited the carvery on a Sunday and were shown to our table. The menu was whipped away before my wife even had a chance to read it. The beef was running with blood and not to our taste. Then my orange juice was whipped away before I had finished it. I asked the waitress laying the table next to us for a glass of water. She acknowledged my request but continued laying the table for several minutes. I was gasping for a drink! She eventually brought a jug of water...but no glass!I finished my meal before my wife and my plate was whipped away while she was still eating. When asked for the bill we had to pay at the bar which was in an adjoining room. Ah, so there is a bar!! Had we known we may have ordered wine or beer but as there wasn't a drinks menu on the table we assumed that it was an unlicensed restaurant. We had to queue to pay at the small serving hatch. It's these little things that annoy and we couldn't wait to get out of there. The food was OK. The waiting staff need better training. All very amateurish. Definitely wont be going back!

Check in quick. After climbing 2 large flights of stairs with luggage we finally found our room. No lift offered here so if you use a wheelchair/buggy then forget it. Room tiny. Very basic. No bath. Spent the whole night listening to the wind whistling through the window. Room freezing. No way to control our own heating. Toiletries in room, kettle with coffee/tea. Our friends had a baby travel cot in their room that collapsed on their son all of a sudden. Staff not concerned or apologetic. Travel cot was replaced. Staff on a whole ok. Bar man the most miserable person in the world. Drinks pricey and mixers out of date. They do not let you charge anything to your room or use a card. However, they let you get cash back for a £2 charge. What a joke! Sneaky money making scheme. Breakfast good. For £85 we expected a higher standard than recieved. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

I was looking forward to a Mothers Day meal in a lovely country setting, but was very disappointed by the whole experience. The staff were ok, but not very welcoming. They took my drink away before I had even finished it! It seemed very dated and there was no atmosphere. The Carvery was awful. I went up to get my food, chef nowhere to be seen, you'd think on a busy day like today, there would be someone on the Carvery at all times, after all it is the main course! Beef was very pink, with blood coming out, not to most peoples liking, I didn't touch mine. Vegetables looked like they had been left around for hours with no taste and there was gravy spilt all over the table. It just looked a mess, stuffing cold, I could go on. I have never reviewed anything before, so it must be pretty bad for me to be doing this! I could have had a much nicer meal at home. Very upset having to pay £20 for a 3 course meal that tasted so bad. I would not return and would advise you to avoid!
