Such a lovely pub, really cozy and clean. I loved the chill music choice that was quietly playing, just loud enough to hear the lyrics if you stop to listen. Food was a very reasonable price, and the burgers came with chips! Nothing angers me more than a restaurant that sells chips separately to the burger. so this was huuuuge win as the burgers were under £15. Lovely server, I unfortunately didn't get his name but he was so considerate and just the right amount of attentive. And the sticky toffee pudding was FANTASTIC it was such a good portion size. I was in a group of 4, and we all enjoyed our meal and drinks. 10/10 recommend this place.

Great place, great food, great atmosphere. The restaurant was a perfect distance away from the drinks area. Loved the music choice, perfect level and really added to the ✨ambience✨ really cute little pub. Thoroughly enjoyed my food and it was all a really fair price. Ladies toilets were immaculate! The church pew was a little weird but a great idea, gave me and my friend a laugh. Very nicely decorated, and the fella who waited on us was lovely. Will go again, and recommend that you do too.

Went to the crown yesterday was really busy I had hunters chicken it was nice and hot and the service was fast and staff was friendly would recommend going there reasonably priced as well

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday dinner with our French friends who were so impressed with the cosy feel of this typical English pub and the warm welcome we received. Besides the roast dinners, the Shepherd's pie and risotto were also excellent.

waited ages after being seated and had to ask for the menu, wrong drink got orange juice ,not what we asked for.Didn't ask if we wanted any sauces so got it myself. Feta cheese put on vegan meat balls, so had to wait while they changed it .Different beer to the one we ordered. Wasn't that many people in there that they couldn't cope

Macaroni cheese and steak pie were delicious. We walked in at about 6pm on a Sunday and there were plenty of tables. Service was fast and friendly.

Had booked a table this Sunday lunchtime for 2-00, expecting it to be busy, arriving to see the car park only a quarter full, always a bad sign. Around 10 people in the restaurant but still had a 50 minute wait for food to arrive - when it did it was bought out one at a time ( there were 4 of us ) with 5 minute intervals meaning some of us were half way through the meal before others arrived. Came here yesterday with my partner for a Sunday roast , the service wasn’t great , the potatoes were out of a frozen packet I’m sure The beef was put on top of the 3 really small potatoes which made them soggy When the cheese plate came there wasn’t any blue cheese as they had run out ! It was 2:15 in the afternoon so not sure why , the rest of the cheese was cold so straight out of the fridge I think To be fair on another occasion we came in the evening and had a pie with bone marrow which was really good

Christmas dinner with the family

Went with Granddaughters on Christmas Eve for Lunch. Only 2 staff but we they were so helpful and friendly despite being busy. The food was freshly cooked- including adjusting the menu to suit some in the group. Very friendly and welcoming with children and we all enjoyed a lovely relaxing meal before the chaos of Christmas!! Thank you very much, we will be back

Lovely setting, food not bad either. Staff are very friendly. Setting is pleasant. However, when I went there were some idiots swearing too much for my liking. Not making it suitable for couples or families. Pity, I'm sure it's just a one off though. I would take my gf here on another day.

Visited for a meal all was okay

Better late than never this review….back in the summer I found myself locked out of my flat for the afternoon with my step daughter and no charger for my phone. We found ourselves popping in the Crown for a couple of hours until my partner returned from work. I explained my situation to the lovely people running the pub and they were very nice. I had a nice pint, my daughter a coke and a lovely meal each. All while my phone charged on a charger found for me in order to contact my partner and pay the bill! Great, welcoming and friendly service all round.

Nice atmosphere. Where good with my kids. Not sure about food but we are having Christmas day lunch here so will update when I know more.

Had a Lovely Sunday Roast with the family today so nice to be able to have a kids roast for those that have a smaller appetite not always available at some pubs, the Turkey was the nicest I have ever had, everything about the meal was so nice, service good & new manager very friendly would definitely recommend Well done

My Mum and I had an amazing meal here while the gents went to the football. The menu had plenty of choice and the food was delicious. Conor, the assistant manager, was friendly and made great recommendations for desert.

Excellent pub since change of management earlier this year. Visit for lunch monthly. Good food served promptly. Well kept real ale and excellent friendly service.

Me and my partner regularly come here since the management team has changed. When we go we always receive a warm welcoming and always feel relaxed. The management always take time to chat with you which always feels good, will be definitely become our regular go to for a Friday or Saturday night. Well worth a 5 star

The Crown at Hazlemere has a decent sized car park, outside seated area, good proper pub feel, staff are friendly and attentive, really good pub menu, food was tasty, well presented, good portion size, very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great local pub and is mine and my friends favourite local. I am vegetarian and there are great vegetarian options, I have something different every time I come here. The food is always good. The drinks are good and the pricing is very fair. They do a quiz night often which is good fun. The service is really good and the staff are all friendly

What a gem of a pub. Was visiting the UK and came to The Crown for lunch on a recommendation. Food and service were excellent. The landlords Si and Carla are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit here, good pints, food, atmosphere and people.

Quaint pun with fabulous food. Carla and Si are friendly, polite and great fun owners that make you feel at home straight away. Only issue is when it closed and we had to leave. Totally recommend this pub for food and drinks.

Me and my partner went to the Crown for the first time as we are new to the area, and i must say, the food, the drinks and the service was amazing. We don't usually have a 3 course meal but we had too! The manager and the staff were really pleasant too! Would i go back? Absolutely!!!

We returned to the Crown on a Friday evening having had a previous good Sunday lunch. Once again the staff went above and beyond with recommendations, fabulous food (the lamb shank 😍) and a great atmosphere with football on in the background. Would definitely recommend and we will be back again soon!

We have come a few times since moving into the area and have always been met with a lovely warm welcome from the lovely bar staff and the manager. The food is lovely and affordable. The doggy menu goes down a treat too!! We will most definitely be regulars. Thanks so much :)

In the area to meet up with friends who live in Hazlemere for Lunch we decided to visit the Crown. We had a lovely welcome from the Landlord and I assume his partner. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and good value for money. The downside. We live over 100 miles away so too far to pop in but next time we visit Wycombe we know where to go for Lunch

Popped into the crown last night for what was meant to be a quick pint and a bite to eat. Not been in for a while and was quietly suprised how much the place has changed. Simon was superb, welcoming and friendly. Signature Burger was fantastic followed up with a singalong with the new karaoke set up. Ended up staying a lot longer than the planned quick pint! Well done team

I have been in the UK for two days and had my first English pub experience here. Cute vibes, friendly staff, delicious food. Can confirm mushy peas are delicious.

My husband and I have just had a lovely meal in here. We could not fault it. We haven't been for about 8 months as the previous people did not keep the place that clean and nor was the service all that great. So glad we tried it again with the new really nice landlord and landlady. It's now clean with great service. We will go back now definitely. Can highly recommend.

Simon, the publican, will visit you with friendly banter, and his lovely staff will look after your needs to make you want to come back again and again.

Si and his team absolutely saved Father’s Day for our family. After being let down horrendously by another hostelry, a last minute phone call, out lining our problem enabled us to move location and get wonderful service and food at the Crown. Nothing was too much trouble dietary restrictions were met without issue. Thank you so much for all the support you gave us.

Well what can I say about this gem of a pub, though I’ll try their steak night, and I must say first impressions were fantastic,si , Karla and a young lady called lacey what fantastic hosts, greeted straight away as I walked through the door made to feel well at home, don’t get that in many pubs nowadays, food was excellent and service was excellent, first time in a pub where the staff can’t do enough for you brilliant, si and the team have got something going in that pub, even though I live a good 20 mins away will definitely be going back there, thanks to si, karla and lacey I will be back 5 stars

First time going to this pub today. A 50 minute drive but I would make that journey again in a heart beat. Met the landlords Si & Carla for the first time but felt like old friends. My family and friends came up to watch the FA cup final, we were very welcomed by Si and his team, lovely food especially the chicken katsu curry, great atmosphere. Would recommend a visit.

Food was really nice and not as pricey as thought it would be

We have been in the crown a good amount of times, since the new land lord & lady have been there everything is a million times better. The atmosphere, the cleanliness, the food - just everything. We are regulars and it’s nice to go in there to smiles behind the bar and to see a family running the pub and enjoying doing it. We will definitely be back (again and again) Chicken Katsu is by far a new favourite! Thanks guys!

I used to visit the Crown regularly, and 9 months ago gave it a 5 star rating. However, since the new management, the service, quality, atmosphere and cleanliness have noticeably declined. It's no longer an enjoyable or relaxing experience. There are lots of better pubs around!

We popped in for a quick drink to celebrate my sister's birthday but we stayed until they closed! What a lovely atmosphere on Friday night, music, great range of drinks, very kind staff! Thank you & see you soon!

Just moved to the area, and thought I’d try the local pub. I was thoroughly disappointed at the service I received. Firstly, my pint of Guineas tasted like It had been sat for over an hour in summer heat. The manager was completely rude and unprofessional when I spoke to him. Clearly he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Would recommend avoiding this pub until the manager is replaced.

Lovely pub experience, fantastic food, great service and we were looked after the whole evening. We will be back!

Wow, this place is amazing. We were greeted by a very smartly dressed gentleman, who said they were very busy as it was steak night. He informed us they were struggling for a table, and food would be an hour. But he managed to find us a table and we got a drink and sat down. As we waited for food you could see they were short staffed, but the staff that were in were going the extra mile to keep everyone happy and I could hear a number of people complaining as they paid, so I hoped the food was worth the wait. Omg. The food arrived, and wow, I have not had steak that perfectly cooked and peas again green and perfectly cooked. The chicken again was perfect, not dry as a bone, as you get in a lot of places. If you are passing by like us or live in the area they you have to try this place out. I have not seen such lovely staff under pressure, perfectly food, and even clean toilets in 20 years. No one normally gets all 3 right.

We’ve just moved to the area and this is our new local and we couldn’t be happier. Amazing staff who are extremely friendly and really work to make the experience a good one. The food and wine is lovely and the price is very reasonable. What more could you ask for.
