Impromptu visit for lunch after visiting Brooklands Museum. Friendly greeting from Gemma on arrival, and an apology for keeping us waiting as it was a busy lunchtime in the restaurant. We weren't kept waiting long, but it was nice to have this acknowledged anyway. Lots of menu options to suit all tastes. Neck Oil on tap too! Service was quick and efficient. Food was tasty pub grub. Lovely surroundings, outside seating and a car park. Star of the show was Gemma, who despite being on her own in the bar and restaurant, seemed totally in control and was always smiling. Wish more establishments had staff like her. Thank you for a very pleasant lunch experience.

Met with my family at The Cricketers for lunch. Our waitress Gemma looked after us really well. The food was excellent and service great. Reasonably priced too

Very welcoming , spacious, great outdoor setting but we could not enjoy it with non stop rain. The service was excellent, a pretty young lady, Emma, with a lovely smile, was very attentive to all our needs. Such a pleasant atmosphere that we lingered on, drinking our wine, making the moment last. We had scampi & chips, very satisfying. We'll come back .

Me and my family went to Cricketers many times before and manager Barbara always looking after us with all her heart . Especially Mother’s Day which was super busy but she was doing everything she could and everywhere making sure everyone has a good service despite the fact how busy it was. Amazing person and very professional and so the staff and food!!

Great staff, great food, great prices. They have a live band every Saturday. What more can you ask of a local pub?!? 5*

Booked a table for six for Mother’s Day and was incredibly disappointed with the service. One meal arrived 20 minutes before the others and was finished before the others even turned up. The food was very tasty when it arrived apart from the crumble which shared more of a resemblance to a bowl of porridge. The manager kept heading outside for a smoke and when she was attentive she couldn’t remember anything we’d ordered and had to keep coming back to ask. Disappointing experience overall.

We booked last minute for the cricketers for a table of 10. Martina got us a real lovely cosy table at the back, we started off with garlic bread with fresh mozzarella, some drinks and Merlot. We ordered the roast dinners, we had Turkey which was so succulent and lots of it and a smashing lamb shank and chicken goujons for the children. Followed by bottomless roast potatoes and yorkshires with piping hot lavishing gravy! The carrots were beautiful. I felt like standing up with my large plate of food and dancing whilst thinking wow, is my nan in the kitchen cooking away. The thought made my evening so pleasurable, Max is a credit to the industry. Cannot wait to tell my auntie from Australia who is coming down in 2 weeks time to indulge a lovely roast with us.

Great pub. First time visiting. I had a Sunday roast and it was beautiful. Free top ups of roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. My Dad brought his dog too who was also welcomed and treated. The pub is clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is great. We were served by Martina@team Well worth the visit

their new menu was amazing!! Great food - nice size portions and very friendly staff! we frequent this pub often as the atmosphere is fantastic.

Had a nice family meal here, the food was by and large very good and the staff were polite and happy to help (if a little slow/ distracted at times). Some real ales on the bar (Pride, Tribute, Hophead) - went with Hophead, not sure it was in great condition sadly.

I honestly can't thank The Cricketers enough for a fantastic Christmas party. This was our first Christmas party for the company and what a night it turned out to be! The staff were fantastic, the food was lovely and the atmosphere was brilliant. We asked to increase the numbers a couple of weeks before and they managed to move us into the snug area. Staff were polite, patient and nothing was too much trouble. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This is a lovely pub, great atmosphere however the food really let's it down. There were 3 things that they had run out of , fish and chips and only one pie so 3 of us had to change their choice. There was quite a wait for the food which was really not worth waiting for. I only eat mine as I was so hungry. I had the sea bass with pesto cream and crushed potatoes except they weren't crushed they were just boring new potatoes! The cream sauce was runny and tasteless. I had to add lots of salt and pepper to get some flavour! My husband had his 3rd choice of beef pie and said it was mainly gravy.Really disappointed, we will continue to drink here but not eat. Such a shame as this a great pub in a prime location. Sort your chef out!

Had a roast dinner for 2 people. 2 x roasts, side orders x 2 and a drink each, total £53. Four staff members, 2 tables to serve, the food came before the cutlery, which we were then asked if we wanted any.:::!!!! The roasts arrived and we had to ask if there were roast potatoes on their way, the whole meal was sub standard microwaved and or deep fried hence the nuclear waste black pudding which I can only assume was the stuffing…… will not be tried again and can only assume the reason for the lack of customers in there.

Atmosphere and the setting is fine but food was poor. A very dry burger with overcooked fries tossed onto the plate with no presentation. Clearly no talent in the kitchen.

We ordered some food via Uber ( restaurant goes as K-Town chicken Row town) and received completely a different order. The delivery bag didn’t have an attached receipt or anything mentioning my order details and my name hence maybe the driver handed the wrong one. We went to the restaurant with the order we received and when we complained about it the kitchen staff ( an Asian guy who worked in the kitchen on the 12th July at 7:45pm) said they cannot take the responsibility and asked us to leave immediately. Is this the way The Cricketers staff handling their business? That guy asked his customers to leave the restaurant even after we came with the food which we received from that restaurant. It is rude to ask your customers to leave without solving the issue. Where are the manners??? They simply said “not our fault” and that’s it! At least if they’ve attached a receipt then the driver will not face the confusion… Feels so bad about the Cricketers chain because of this Addlestone branch.

Unfortunately this pub seems to have gone through a refurbishment and changed hands in the last 6 months. Whilst the decor is nice, the service is just about OK. Food was overpriced, poor and the order was wrong. Also there is little provision for Gluten...

Food was awful. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Large group of us and we all experienced rudeness from yhe manageress at different times. Staff completely uninterested in customer service. No wonder it was empty!!!

I visited the cricketers for father's day lunch it was ruined as tge roast potatoes were black and leathery mashed potato was hidden under beef which was tough 2 tiny slivers of parsnips and poor veg the pub refurbishment has been done well and gardens...

The website set a high expectation but the reality is very different. Whilst the inside is nice, the garden is not very inviting or comfortable and the food is terrible. Although they were not busy the food arrived burnt and it did not feel freshly...

I had lamb roast! We asked for steak knifes to cut the meet. I am afraid lamb was very bad cut meet full of chewy bits. Ourfriend had hunter chicken and she was very happy with it

The triple roast was absolutely beautiful! Lovely roasties, good selection of veg and a nice crispy Yorkshire pudding.... I followed with a chocolate fudge cake, it was coupled with a lovely warm chocolate sauce... if you have a sweet tooth, this is defo the dessert...

Had a lovely Sunday roast today, service was amazing, the food was lovely, good selection of veg, turkey was beautifully cooked, good portion of pigs in blankets, the roasties were tasty and the yorkshire was crispy in the right places. we followed it in with a chocolate fudge cake which is every chocolate lovers dream! Very indulgent.... beautiful sponge and warm chocolate sauce.... will definitely be back!
