The Cove in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Oh my gosh, the fish and chips were incredible! They were cooked to order perfectly, with a crispy outer layer and a fluffy interior. And the portion was huge!

OMG the chicken burger was amazing! so juicy and the fire cracker sauce was so yummy! one of the best burgers I have had in a while, my daughter had the chicken nuggets bit I would say they are more like chicken chunks which she loved! sad I don't have more time to go back!

Lovely little cafe by the beach with wonderfully friendly staff, we only had ice creams but they were delicious. Will be trying the cream tea next time we visit.

The newly converted apartment above The Cove is a fabulous place to stay right in the heart of Cawsand. Sleeping 6 (4 adults in doubles and 2 children in bunks) it is beautifully appointed and the beds are extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Owner very flexible with early check in and late check out too.

Took the opportunity of having a coffee and portion of fries here this afternoon whist waiting for somewhere to eat later, as the other local places weren’t serving food. Coffee was good, small portion of frozen fries at £4 were okay but a little expensive. We sat outside where one of the male team members was having a break, the language from him and his group was unacceptable, this made the experience unpleasant. This was exasperated at around 6.30pm when we left the area where the same team member and others were drinking a box of beer outside of the venue ‘on the venues chairs/tables’ The attitude, language and behaviour of these people was disgraceful. I note the past profession and good reputation of the owner who’d I’d politely suggest looks at how the behaviour of the minority can quickly spread to others.

Lovely picturesque spot with fabulous fish and chips. Perfect for all the family. Would certainly come again!
