Had a fab Sunday roast 19/2/23. Nice, quirky pub just off Coronation Rd. We were worried about parking, however, although the pub does not have a car park, there is ample on street parking outside (free on Sundays). Surprised at how the beers and ciders were so reasonably priced. Great selection of alcohol free alternatives (more than any other pub I’ve been to lately). Food was really delicious and only £11. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Previous reviews mention use of a QR code to order but I think this issue no longer exists.

They have the best pub quiz on Mondays. Two lovely cats that chill around the pub. Staff is super friendly and efficient. Best pub! Will definitely be a regular here

My friends and I come here fairly often, they have cheap drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. They have pub cats! But they do also allow dogs. I agree that the QR code thing so long after COVID is annoying, but overall I do like it here.

Didn't realise you had to order from a qr code on the table - almost all of them worn and unreadable. Asked at the bar and the man was very rude. Just annoyed us so we went somewhere much nicer. Also it looks like a complete diy numpty has done loads of work in there. Won't go back.

This pub has cheap beer. Sadly they make it very difficult to actually buy any. My heart sinks when I see the QR sign on a table. It reminds me of the darkest days of Lockdown, malfunctioning apps, messed up orders, and being forced to buy a pizza when I only wanted a drink (thanks, Mr Gove!) Entering the Coronation takes you right back there. Even though it was nearly empty the barmaid said ‘We’re only taking table orders’ in a rather unfriendly manner. One of my friends arrived then, so, rather than argue, I gave him a fiver and he ordered my drink on his smartphone. Later I attempted to use my bank card for a contactless payment but the manager refused that as well, quite aggressively. Give this place a miss. I’m not going back.

Popped in for half a bitter late afternoon. Pub virtually empty but the barman said it was table service and to order via QR code (despite table being 2 foot from the bar and only one other customer.) Couldn’t download the (dog eared) code and thus couldn’t order. Interesting that the pub has been complaining about how marginal business is to the press (when threatened with the removal of its outdoor seating).

Impossible to buy a pint unless you happen to have a smart phone this discriminates against old and poor people. Avoid the place!

Great local pub with buzz. Excellent vegan munch (burgers and pizza etc) and cheap drinks with great selection of beers and an overwhelming amount of gins. All service was through the Butlr app, not an issue as easy to set up and got our drinks really fast! Definitely the most Covid safe place I've been to recently.

Bar still sealed off with PVC (yes crumpled PVC sheeting from a dump through the looks of it). Zero atmosphere. Condescending staff. Do not help if you can not order through the app. Do not help old people who have CASH and just want a quiet drink. No point highlighting it to the staff because they just say it's the managers decision not to fully open. Saving money at the cost of customers. Simply STEER clear. Go to the SouthBank down the road. Much better.

Turned up at 1720 to have a juice but was told by a rather sullen lady that I could only have coffee as they were closing at 6. Then she over charged me.. not very welcoming.

Dirty floor, dirty tables, dirty counter. Staff no interested at all. Ground floor tables full with teenagers charging the phone and using the toilet. WiFi was ok and coffe was decent, but terrible Starbucks standards, this is not what it used to be. Won't ever return here.

I went with my young son and wife during the run up to Christmas where I had booked a week off work to get my Christmas shopping done. It was a good day out overall, but sadly my attempt at some respite in this Costa was thwarted by one abhorrently rude member of staff. It started when I ordered our drinks at the till. Mine and my wife's drinks were fine, but when I asked about the free 'babycchino' for my son, the woman on the till- Anna- told me they had run out of the small cups for the kids drinks and that they'd have to charge us for a whole regular size cup of milk if we wanted one! After stating the obvious that Anna could simply put a small amount of milk in a regular cup, she huffed, poured out the drinks and abruptly handed me the tray. When we sat down, the tables were messy and sticky. Granted it was busy and the run up to Christmas, but basic hygiene is not a duty that should be shirked. After finishing I needed to use the restroom, so I went to the right of the tills and queued for use of the loo. When I got in there I could hardly breathe. The smell was awful. I went straight out to the tills and spoke to Anna again to tell her that the their toilets needed attention. I got the same huffy attitude from Anna who told me that they were nothing to do with her as the toilets were managed by Primark. She didn't even contact her Primark colleagues or a manager to let them know that someone had smeared excrement on the floor in there. Truly a shocking experience.

Just went here to meet a group of my colleagues for something to eat and was told that they were doing takeaway only .I asked if they had changed the closing time as it was only 3pm and she replied that they were closing early as it had been quiet ! I ordered a takeaway coffee and phoned friends to change cafe .Photo is of the large cappuccino! Half a cup of cold coffee. Don't bother going here lots more lovely coffee shops close by.

Branch in the Royal West of England Art Gallery, Queen’s Road, Bristol. Summer infusion teas were totally stunning and, unlike most cafes, had no sugar or syrup in them. Peach/Berry was superb and the Earl Grey (tho obviously a bit sour due to its nature) was also v good. (1 other flavour I didn’t try). Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful. Lovely venue (inside the Gallery building) with metal seats (I think it was) & small tables outside. NOTE a year’s Pass is currently £16 to visit exhibitions as much as 1 wants, so only about £5 or less each time.
