Fabulous place - they remember you even if you are not a regular. Clean well cooked food - best fried eggs in Christendom - attentive staff - great prices - pleasant old-fashioned ambience - good value.

Perfect fried eggs. Friendly service - although i'm not local and not too regular, they remember me and some of my preferences. Genteel, good value.

Just back from having afternoon tea at Copper Kettle & didnt disappoint. Staff are lovely & friendly. Food was lovely & plenty of it. Well worth the £12. Have eaten there many times but 1st time afternoon tea. Definately recommend. Thanks Andrew

Saturday morning breakfast. High quality food and great coffee. Pleasant surroundings and great staff. Will definitely be back.

I ordered the regular breakfast which comes with a free drink (bonus), and was so impressed with the breakfast, it was all cooked perfectly and tasted like a dream, however I think the sausage could be of better quality, I can't not fault it and have since been back and will again.

I Came to this Cafe This Afternoon (15th September 2022).. We (2 of us) Arrived At Roughly 12:25… It Was Quite Busy And There was only 1 table available which we sat on… We browsed the menu which had a good selection of food ranging from breakfast food (served until 2:30pm to sandwich’s to omelettes to baked pot Within 5-8 minutes of browsing the menu. A polite waitress came over and toke our order… Myself I ordered a club sandwich with a bowl of chips and my friend ordered cheese on toast and to drink we both ordered a pot of tea… While we were waiting for our pot of tea, a waitress put a sign on the door saying “ there very busy and food could take up to 30 mins to be served…” We waiting roughly 5-10 minutes for our pot of tea ( which came as one big pot of tea) and we then waited roughly a further 20-25 minutes for our food My club sandwich was lovely, it was one of the best club sandwiches I have has in a while…. The salad was lovely as well as was the chips! My friend said the cheese on toast was nice as well… I then ordered dessert and I had Caramel apple pie with custard which was the nicest Caramel apple pie I’ve had..: All together it cost just under £19… Highly impressed with the food..

Slow service but the real let down was the food i ordered the big breakfast which arrived at a good time alas that's the only good thing the sausage was low quality blackpudding over cooked tin tomatoes was well over cooked bacon was hard,tea was cheap and the margarine was just nasty will never go again

Beautiful veggie breakfast. Worth travelling to from Orrell Park especially for, as Laurel and Hardy no longer provide a veggie breakfast. The sausages were beautiful as some veggie sausages are touch and go! Place for us to visit now for a cooked breakfast, beautiful and clean and highly recommend!!!

Seated my self in this cafe an was told by a lady she would be over to take our order few mins later obviously after a conversation between them selves they must of come to a conclusion that we were untrustworthy an came an asked me to order my food at the til we’re they took payment straight away still none the wiser til I sat back down an watched everyone eat before they paid !! I only writing this review to better your service as the food was pretty much perfect but still won’t be eating in here no more on these basis

Excellent service and brilliant prices. Even looked after my dog as we sat outside. Also in a friendly community.

Called in for a toastie with my daughter, mum and nan. We walked straight in and found a table and immediately got asked to check in for track and trace, not a problem but I was initially trying to manoeuvre a pram in. We sat down and there was already 3 menus on the table with a big selection. We sat for about 5 minutes deciding what to have when the same staff member came over and bluntly told us the menu was off and there was no food left, only what he had in the fridge at the front. Surely he could have told us this when he saw us sit down? Attitude was rude and clearly couldn’t care less about further custom that day. St John’s road prides itself on friendly, independent businesses and the community it serves. As a Waterloo resident I certainly didn’t get that impression and won’t be returning, feel embarrassed to have taken family who aren’t from Waterloo there.

Came here with my boyfriend for breakfast and it was brilliant. He got a large breakfast (so big he couldn't quite manage it) and I got the veggie breakfast and both were cooked to perfection. Upgraded from the free filter coffee to a latte which is a great idea to let you do. The staff were super friendly and helpful and couldn't do more for us. Its the cleanest most spotless cafe I have ever been in, I was amazed at how spotless it was. Not one spec of dust visible anywhere. Lovely to see that they were quite busy even in these times and despite so many customers they were really fast. Will definitely be coming back with friends :-)

I went to Copper Kettle today with friend after being let down in another cafe close by. But it did us a favour as we had a lovely lunch , staff very friendly, nice & clean area too. Would recommend it.. very reasonable also

This coffee shop is very popular. They have a good range of freshly made snacks and sandwiches, cakes and drinks. Great to drop in for a snack and a chat with friends. Very good prices, nice and clean. Recommended.

We popped in for a quick snack whilst shopping. Very busy but found a table and the waitress took our order. We each had a ham and cheese omelette which arrived quite quickly and we both enjoyed our meal. Would go again.

The Copper Kettle has become a regular eating hole for us as a couple and as a family. The food is top quality and always freshly cooked. The atmospere is welcoming, warm and convivial. We thoroughly enjoy our visits to CK and often take friends for a special treat!

Excellent service and value for money. The all day breakfast was piping hot and arrived very quickly. The meal was served by attentive and friendly staff and couldn't have been any better. The menu was comprehensive and covered all our needs, we'll be back!

I had not been there before, my friend had, she had a vegetarian breakfast, I had a usual breakfast..Service was quick and both breakfasts were delicious. Very busy popular café and clean. Will definitely be returning.

Totally friendly , down to earth, great freshly made food. Helpful and caring staff. Just had a simple lunch here today, warmest of welcomes and attentive staff with delightful banter with their regular clientele, that they know by name. Good vibes all around.

Both had large breakfast with half and half beans/tomato quick service lovely food delicious coffee with a smile. We will be returning soon.

This is a fantastic coffee shop and I have been coming ever since I was little and it was Located in Crosby village. The cafe is always clean and the staff are friendly. The breakfasts are the best!

This is an informal local café. There is not too much background music. The menu of hot food ends at 2.30 pm. We dropped-in just before that. The cod-and-chips was fair-to-middling, but the Welsh rarebit was very tasty.

Visited today with my sister. It was a special visit as we grew up in the area and had just had a family loss.

Visited today for a light breakfast. Very pleasant ambiance and decor with a good menu with lots of variety. I had a Wonderfull omelette with side salad and a great cup of coffee. The food was cooked fresh and was delicious. Price reasonable and I would defiantly recommend this coffee shop.

This excellent local cafe is always well worth a visit. Since moving to its new location, the Copper Kettle has gone from strength to strength, bringing together old customers and new. The food is great, reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and efficient. Do visit this cafe and see for yourself.

Called for lunch on the 8 th of April very busy as it was grand national day ordered a full breakfast it came very quick it was excellent value very friendly staff lovely place will definitely go back next time I am in Liverpool a special mention to the owner Andrew who runs a very efficient and friendly cafe with great food looking forward to my next visit

This place has always been good for lunch. I've been meeting friends here for the last few years and have never been disappointed. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Nice feel inside.

We visit this cafe every couple of months for breakfast, just bacon sandwiches and coffee which is well served. The place is clean and bright. The only downside is that it never opens at the published hour of 9am and you are left standing in the cold outside for up to 10 minutes while the staff finish their preparations. On our last visit we felt unwelcome when the door was finally opened - no smile, no greeting and the door was then left wide open (in February, and not for the first time). A shame really as we would rate higher but for this.

I have lunch here with my family once a week. The food is good and comes quickly, the coffee is great, and it's very clean and inexpensive. Great service too! As we are usually pushed for time we don't bother going anywhere else now. Would recommend.

I'm an area devoid of decent meeting places this little gem provides a clean environment to get together over a nice coffee and good old fashioned cafe type food. Staff very friendly and good value for money.

The Copper Kettle is local to me and within walking distance, if you are driving check the parking restrictions and avoid getting a parking ticket. The only meal I can comment on is the breakfast and this comes with either tea of coffee (the coffee is reasonably good if your timing is good). The breakfast is of good proportion but the quality of the ingredients could be improved upon, especially the sausage (cheap sausages are a false economy and never impress). I enjoyed the rest of the meal and it comes with toast, it would be nice (just for once) to be offered wholemeal rather than "brown" bread. Personally I would be delighted to pay a little more for better quality bangers and wholemeal bread but, overall, the breakfast is decent - a little more local produce and better quality ingredients would make this a much better experience.

Excellent food reasonably priced and the beauty of it is you can take anything away that's on the menu. Would definitely recommend it to anybody. The staff are extremely nice and there's a steady stream of people coming in always a good sign.

I have been to this coffee shop a few times and it's really nice, the staff are friendly and the food is good. It's does breakfasts and panini's and omelettes and it's done well. They have meals for children and more substantial meals like fish and chips, quiche and scampi. It's a very nice place well worth a visit.

They've changed the menu slightly for the worse! Used to be able to get a mozzarella, tomato and pesto Panini, now its just cheddar cheese, red onion and tomato. Lovely atmosphere though and great to support local business'

I have been here several times now. All on Saturday mornings for breakfast. The staff are great! They seem to know their customers and remember their orders. They go out of their way to accommodate special requests.

Far from being breakfast experts this lacked in what we would expect and have had far nicer at a cheaper price. Their large breakfast isn't large and is what you'd normally expect as a small an you have to choose if you want beans or tomatoes usually they both come together. All the food was deep fried and soggy with the fat that it had swam in, the three small mushrooms looked deformed. The sausages were cheap and terrible the local chippy has nicer sausages. At £5.25 this breakfast is terribly over priced. The only reason we didn't say anything was the gentleman serving had a lovely manner an standard of service. Don't think we'll be returning.

I came here last week for my breakfast.. Just as we sat down there was rubbish being carried through the cafe so straight away that put me off but my partner suggested we stay.. I had salmon scrambled egg bagel. The egg looked as though it has been cooked in the microwave and the bagel tasted cheap.. Only nice thing about the place was the coffee.. None of the staff serving/making food and drinks wore hats which is unhygienic.. Place has not long been open and at this rate it will be shut before they know it..

Popped in Saturday morning for a coffee and a snack. Staff were friendly and attentive, and my drink and toasted tea cake were delicious. A wonderful establishment and I'll be returning as soon as I can.
