We love the relaxed setting of this restaurant and once again excellent service and food. We went with the specials board tonight definitely made a great choice perfect flat iron steak. Thanks to all involved

We booked for our daughters birthday. When we asked for the vegan menu we were told that if we wanted vegan food we had to ring and let them know the day before!! We should have booked Giannis in Victoria Rd.instead as they have an extensive vegan menu,but didn't realise other eateries in this day and age wouldn't.We could hardly hear the lady who greeted us telling us that 2 options for the rest of us were unavailable (at 6.30 !) for the screaming children on the next table.She didn't ask if we wanted a drink.The chef was very pleasant and offered to cook a vegan burger or sausages but that's hardly a birthday meal.This place has gone downhill.

We were recommended the Copper Horse after visiting another local food place that was full and couldn’t have found anywhere more accommodating. We were quickly shown to a table and order drinks and given a menu. Our order again taken quickly and food brought out without a lengthy wait. The food was well presented, perfectly cooked and super tasty. Would highly recommend this place and will defo visit again when we next visit Filey

Like this venue a lot, nice interior and setting. The menu is still a bit restricted and there was two mains not available, so not a great choice in the end. The food was nice, but the service was slow at best, forgotten drinks and an incorrect bill as well as no cutlery didn’t help. Considering this was table service I had to go to the bar to ask for all our drinks and missing items.

A firm favourite for every visit to our holiday home. This place does the best food! Absolutely delicious and a great selection of gins and cocktails. We loved our visit and can’t wait to return!

I attended the copper horse on 13/04/23 with my parents the service was absolutely fantastic from walking through the door to paying the bill. I couldnt recommend this place anymore. Thank you to Angus for the serving of deserts and the team for fab service. Will highly recommend and I will return

Had Sunday lunch today - absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t fault anything. The service was brilliant and all the staff were pleasant, helpful and polite. We would give it 12 out of 10 and therefore fully recommend it and look forward to going again soon.

We visited The Copper Horse last week for a family meal and it was superb. From the food to the service the whole experience was lovely. We all ordered different meals from the menu and specials and each of us enjoyed all the courses. The cocktails were great too, nice to have a choice of something different to the usual list you find in most bars/restaurants. We would definitely recommend visiting if you’re looking for good food, friendly staff and a great night all around.

Second time we have visited and it never fails to impress. The restaurant is always immaculate and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a fab time. The cocktails are definately worth a try! Would recommend to anyone.

We were a party of 13 with smaller children, teens, and 4 vegans, one of which was coeliac, so lots of dietary requirements and The Copper Horse was fantastic. They put together some vegan and gluten free options especially for us which were all delicious. The meat eaters also all really enjoyed their dinners and the craft beer drinkers were very happy. They were really welcoming, organized and could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

A very limited menu. Portions very small. Response to ask for some potatoes, as even for myself, not a big eater, was that the dish did not come with potatoes. Dish was small chicken breast with one vegetable. My grandson had to have a jeal when he got home. Attitude of chef, hard to believe

This spot is a great place for special evening, we had such a lovely meal, great staff, fabulous atmosphere ... love the theatrical nod. Will definitely be back and next time we'll stay in one of the gorgeous cottages.
