The Boss was quite friendly kept asking If everything was OK. Plus got a free slice of cake on way out. 😋 The food was yummy. Nice clean environment.

Excellent Desi breakfast with spicy beans sausage, potatoes etc, french toast and breakfast sandwich also good. Very friendly service but a little slow, especially the drinks. Overall a good place for breakfast, either traditional English or with a bit of extra spice.

Excellent service, food was quality (chicken wrap meal and cappuccino) with comfortable seating. Will definitely return again to try the breakfast options and desserts.

Unfortunately meal was luke warm probably due to late delivery, beans absent and more fat than meat on the rashers, that been said everything was tasty and cooked to specifications, nice touch to the spicy sausages but should have them as a choice not as set meal. Thanks for a lovely meal.

First time using The Cocoa Lounge and the foods delicious. Even though I got no updates, I was pleasantly surprised when driving arrived on time.

Had an excellent pair of pizzas here this evening. Great service, awesome pizza and we even got some great travel advice for our up and coming trip to India and Pakistan. Thanks to our Pizza Cheff and our waiters Anwar and manager Uzair

Food was as expected. I would say to avoid putting the paper under the food as becomes very soggy with the food and gets mixed up and end up eating some paper. I always try removing it beforehand because of this but still it's soggy and rips. Was a bit surprised withe the mock tail as had no berries and mint in it like last time. Has nothing in it this time. Wasn't appealing to drink enjoyed it better last time.

Food was good, the interior could do with some work as it’s got great potential but doesn’t look like the pictures online. Some TLC is needed but food was decent.

Avoid this place. They pick and choose who deserve good customers service. I ordered a chicken lasagne and Samosa chaat and we was waiting for around 30 minutes before some of the food was served. They brought the lasagne out and it was cold then said 2 minutes for the samosa chaat and served two other customers food who they were familiar with before serving the samosa chaat. Will not be going back to this place.

I ordered earlier in the year and the pizza wasn't too bad. But I ordered today and they gave me the wrong order and wouldn't replace it. The veg pizza was basically just green peppers and the cheese was really poor quality. They also didn't send any sauces, despite requesting them. I wouldn't order again or reccomend this place to anyone else.

I was shocked at how horrible the customer service Is. I have ordered from them for 2 weeks in a row since moving in and always mentioned on the special request note for no sweet chilli sauce everytime due to severe gut inflammation reactivity to any spice. Just today they not only got the order wrong added sweet chilli and delivered late with bad quality the manager on call was very passive agvressive and rude, I threw my order straight in the bin as I was so upset and the manager or whoever he was Was being so rude to me and trying to call me a liar and saying I wanted free food Mind you I have spent over 100s of pounds on this place because I liked the club sandwich. I was so upset and anxious couldn't believe my ears! As a recent consistent customer Im shocked. spent so much money and As a consumer I should not have to justify myself for my health issues. Honestly so disappointed. The manager argued with me on call while the delivery guy stood there embarrassed with replacement food. Absolutely appaling.

One of the worst restaurant I have experienced today ordered my food at 7pm it’s 9.02pm still have not received it we ring the store and all they say is it’s leaving honestly second time ordered from here and has been the same will never be ordering again the lady was so rude aswel over the phone had to give my child food from home instead

Food was ready on time but it was cold less sauce and not tasty. The guy who served us was quite rude, We planned to take out and then asked if we could dine in, he said fine at first and then later was complaining about not paying service charges. This will be the last time we order from them.

The food was spot on as usual here. Came in with friends and had a great time. Food was served fast and was very delightful. Amazing customer service from the young lad zain there, was very helpful and gives great recommendations.

The food is tasty usually as I’m a regular customer but it arrived one and half hours later . When I called restaurant instead of receiving a courtesy apology the phone was abruptly cut short when I told the lady the delivery has just arrived . Poor service

First time going here , was given an incorrect order , the pancakes were rock hard around the edges and soft from middle really disappointed with food , hot drink was ok .

Ordered last week and was outstanding. Hoqever last night Menu has changed. The parmesan was good with the chips however no white sauce was on them. ( gutted as they don't do the spaghetti with it anymore. My family absolutely loved it). The roast chicken was dreadful not worth the price for the portion or the taste!!! Chicken was salty vegetables were hard and the mash tasted bitter like vinegar and salt mixed together. Now I don't know but to me it seemed that wasn't freshly made and had gone off went straight in the bin. Only good thing was the gravy and Yorkshire puddings. Would not recommend this at all. I'm not one to be picky but even my son spat the food out. I can see from the menu there's new things coming, maybe should have taster sessions to get views. Some previous meals were really good which shouldn't stop. Chicken nimbali was a hit aswell even that has been taken off. Think the restaurant really needs to stop and think about the changes. There's too much change which is good to change BUT food quality and taste is dropping. Have been regular customer since it opened. Will be thinking twice now.

Fabulous all day breakfast- unlike other places, they actually serve the breakfast menu ALL day. Perfect for lazy Sundays. We had a full english breakfast, an American breakfast, and a burger from the Burger lab...all totally delicious. Great coffee too. Friendly attentive staff. Will be going back one evening to try the pizza, they told us that they have a wood smoked pizza oven - served from 5pm each day (except Monday when they are closed) A definite thumbs UP!

It's been a while as last time order wasn't right a few times however this time was very happy with the food quality and service. Seems like they've stepped up. Deffo ordering again. Was very happy with the flavours too and presentation

Very disappointed with Breakfast. Bacon non existant, more fat than bacon and just a tiny strip..one sausage spicey, not nice at all. Everything else ok. Unfortunately wont buy another breakfast from here.

They have to work on their hygiene in the seating area.

Went all the way from Bradford 5 of us for the experience of asain brunch. Lovely food, all freshly cooked, brilliant puds. Nice service. (Go to the loo, beforehand as it leaves a lot to be desired)

Super friendly people! I stumbled in and asked for something that wasn't on the menu... They could have told me no, but I'm so glad they didn't - my compliments to the chef! That Aloo Paratha was flavoursome! Even the guy in charge had to have one. My friend had the parmo, and appreciated the desi spin on it! Please give them a visit and show them some support. I left in good spirits and with my tastebuds tingling. The real top spot of Dewsbury!

The food was cold when I finally got it they were 30 minutes late I think in these cases they should give some kind of refund I paid by cash so just eat can't do anything I'm housebound and disabled so when I order something it should be hot on arrival especially when I paid over £15 not happy

Food turned up absolutely freezing. Some of it we could reheat but chips (in 5 out of 6 meals) ended up binned.

More than half an hour late. Marked as delivered on the app. Rung up to see where the order was and was told it was going to be another 5 mins before it gets sent out. Ridiculous service. Would NOT recommend.

This is not the first time, the food has been delivered late every time I order. When I call up im told the food is a couple of minutes away, it has been 45 minutes since the phone call about my food being late and it still has not arrived

The food was awful! I definitely don’t recommend ordering from cocoa lounge. The quality of the food was not up to standard. The halwa puri was way too oily, the brioche breakfast was not made with brioche bun at all it was just toasted bread. The eggs Benedict was the worst I’ve ever had, it looked and tasted absolutely disgusting! The Hollandaise sauce had curdled and it looked and tasted off, I couldn’t eat it. I will never order from here again!

Stumbled upon this lovely cafe as we passed through Dewsbury. We had desi breakfast (paratha stuffed with spicy omelettte). It was surprisingly delicious as was the desi chai. The service was good, the price was very affordable and we had a nice chat with the friendly owner. Recommended.... !

Food is exceptionally good, ordered stone baked pizzas. Unfortunately service was incredibly slow and lacking. The below are not criticisms but areas for improvement that I sincerely hope management see as helpful customer insight. Few examples: * starter did not come first * Food and cutlery was coming bit by bit (staff need to use a service tray to bring more items together) * Dirty plate was given in a pile of 4 plates. Understandable sometimes dishwashers leave grit, however this should be checked when removing plates/handing to customers Other areas for improvement: * Chips portion was far too small for price * Salad was too simple for price (sliced mozzarella, tomato and basil) this is not a sufficient salad. * Staff need training on basic customer service (smiling, being attentive to things like water top ups, offering menu, giving instructions for making order at till if they don't provide table service) We had to ask for almost everything, basic things like sauces, plates. The pizzas were the highlight, very unique flavours that you can't get anywhere else but I will be ordering a takeaway in the future.

Was shopping in Dewsbury, stopped by Cocoa Lounge yesterday and it honestly didn’t disappoint, they was super nice, the food was 10/10, and the price was very reasonable, I would highly recommend this if your looking for a romantic dinner night.

I visited on the 2 nd July around 6pm. The service was absolutely terrible. The person who took our order wasn't friendly at all. When I asked him to clean the table he wasn't happy at all. He did come and clean it. The floor was also dirty. The nachos were good. However the strawberry margarita was merely dilute cordial. More like water. Not worth £3 ++ we paid. I've visited coco lounge before and had a pleasant time. Coco lounge need to train staff on the customer service skills. Maybe need to up their game on drinks too. I am always pleasant and will always say please / thank you. I don't like complaining but on this occasion this needs to be addressed.

Very over priced for what you get food was stone cold packaging was worse than poor I'm housebound so I get breakfast food at least three times a week but tod had to throw it away waste of money

Absolute joke. This place is all about its image rather than its service or quality of food. Ordered a chicken option and recieved beef, guy on phone first found it funny the order was wrong and was talking sarcastically then proceeded to try convince me it's chicken before then finally admitted they messed up. Good thing I wasnt speaking to you guys face to face wasn't it? :)

Nice little gem in Dewsbury. The staff were very pleasant and hospitable. To mention Saima had great hospitality skills.

Their food taste delicious and yummy first time experience, would recommend to people. Try it out and you will never regret it.

The food was cold, the chicken was reheated a few times which made it gooey, the chips were really chewy, they felt old, the lettuce looked like it came off the floor. The cookie dough was disgusting had to throw it out. Wasted about £20. Ordered it at 3, it was supposed to be delivered between 3:40-4:00. Wasn’t dispatched until after 4, didn’t arrive until 4:35. Disappointed.

Got it delivered almost 2hrs later , cold, items were replaced with unwanted items, and frankly went straight in bin as it had gone hard, and fries stale, pity as I really enjoy ordering here, but don't think I will anymore

That was not desi tea, found it disgusting it was like english tea with lots of milk, it looked white milky and no sugar. Desi tea is sweet you can taste the elachi flavours etc this didnt have that at all. English breakfast was lovely but unfortunately desi breakfast I wasn't keen on. Chickpeas and potatoes were nice poori wasn't nice unfortunately and I can't rate the soji! Didn't taste nice so most of it went in the bin along with the tea.

Wonderful customer service. We left some notes about our Covid status and they phoned back, making sure we were ok. The food was absolutely wonderful too. Will be buying from them again

Not the best experience, food arrived on time, awful packaging some items were missing which were delivered, bag was full of oil (leaking ) when I opened the packaging the chana (chickpeas) we swimming in oil inedible. Overall English breakfast was ok

Tea came cold so went straight in the bin but the halwa Puri is second to none really fresh Puri's, burger route 66 is worth trying you won't be disappointed shame on the fries they came all stuck together

Cold beans where dry no sauce on them! Orange juice tasted like diluted toast was hard!! Basically utter disgusting 🤢

Made a small order over two hours ago and it still hasn’t shown up.

Just enjoyed a lovely angus beef burger with sweet sauce. Came with extra sauces and amazingly crispy fries. Went down really well ! Would definitely recommend.

This review applies to the American pancake breakfast, there was no cream, the bananas were over ripe and black inside, the pancakes are reheated ones from a supermarket that tasted like rubber, I didn't ask for strawberry but got them anyway. Stick to ordering the Asian dishes because the desi express breakfast was amazing.

If possible I would've given it a ZERO Rating. Asked for a mint tea and all they did was give boiling water and added a bunch of mint leaves to it and charged me £2 for it!!!!. horrendous customer service dirty tables around with the main guy being very rude. will definitely wont be coming back here again.

The food is always beautiful from here- never any problems but they are always, always late…around an hour on average, sometimes more and this is when I’ve put an order in before it even opens/not at peak time. It does put me off ordering and I haven’t before if I’m hungry there and then and want something spontaneously/within the hour just because there’s nothing worse than sat waiting and waiting hungry and then when you contact the restaurant/ask for updates because it’s gone past the time they say oh just another 5/10/15 minutes when in reality it’s 30 minutes or more. So my advice would be, great food, but be prepared to wait nearer two hours for your food and plan to order in advance.

The food did not live up to the description on the menu. Fries were well done burger was inedible and went in the bin. The lasagne was a frozen one it lacked taste as you would expect. I could have bought the lasagne and made burger for less than that. Such a shame , me personally won’t be preserving again
