The Coach House in Wycombe

Booked in for Steak Night. Absolutely fabulous. Very tasty steak, helpful staff and fantastic value. Get in early to have the best choice!

My wife and I went to the Coach House in Wooburn Green to try their Sunday roast for the first time. The pub restaurant is in a great location overlooking the village green and the building is an old coaching inn originally but updated tastefully making it a warm cozy environment. We both ordered the roast beef which had been aged for 35 days which was accompanied with roast potatoes, creamed swede, savoy cabbage, a Yorkshire pudding and we ordered a side of 4 cheese cauliflower. Whilst waiting my wife had a large glass of Rose and I had a non alcoholic beer. All the staff are warm and friendly greeting all customers new and old on arrival adding to the warmth of the place. The meal lived up to expectations in fact surpassed it and we have had many roasts at many places with differing results. We just about left enough room for a desert, my wife had sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream and I had the Eaton Mess sundae and both were delicious! Overall everything about the meal and location and the team were first class and I was pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived at the amazing value for money. I recommend anyone try the Coach House for themselves.

The worst chicken caesar salad I have ever had. Fried chicken on one side of the plate, and a lettuce cut in half on the other! No sign of the promised bacon or anchovies, just a sprinkle of bacon seasoning and hardly any dressing- yuck!

Went to the coach house yesterday Saturday 6th June with my family when we walked in we was greeted by a very smiley happy young lady behind the bar she seated us at our table waited for us all to be seated and took our drinks orders straight away herself and her colleague a young lad brought us our drinks their smiles made us all very welcome although there was 3 family’s seated and what seemed very busy these 2 were on point with everything made sure we all had drinks topped up they was running around just to keep everyone happy and constantly had them smiles on their faces didn’t have to get up off our seats at all we will defiantly be back the food was 5 star too and plated very nicely thumbs up coach house and thank you to the 2 staff members that really did go above and beyond

Table booked for 1.15pm told we would have the table till 15.30. We ordered our food after 10 minutes and had to wait 1hr20

Fabulous food and wonderful service… overall worth the visit and great spot for lunch. Only the overflowing ashtrays outside spoiled it from 5 stars. We will be back

Booked that morning, got an early (5.30pm) booking for dinner with the family. Friendly welcome, Thursday night is steak night and is therefore busy but we got in before the rush. We ordered starters and mains. Starters took quite a long time to arrive but they were amazing! Mains also took a bit of time but again all 5 of us were impressed by the food. Our waiter was great. Only downside was it took 2hrs in total.

Cabot fault anything here. Warm and friendly service. Great atmosphere and food is second to none. Second time visiting for a Sunday roast and will definitely be back. The flavours are out of this world. Good portion size too. Definitely order the cauliflower cheese as an extra, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic pub, went for Sunday lunch which was amazing. Cant wait to try the pie and mash, and Butchers steak night. Thoroughly recommend

We arrived early evening on Saturday, order was taken, but waited well over an hour for food to be served to us. My children were irritable and hungry! Despite this, it was a lovely place for food and drink, pub was well maintained, giving us a warm and cosy welcome. One of the staff Chloe is an asset to the pub, our original waiter had gone home, she had arrived not long before I called her over and she was immediately on it with getting us our food after we had waited so long. She made sure we had everything we needed, was very polite and we had a nice conversation. Danielle too on the bar had a very bubbly character, and we had a nice chat while being served our drinks. Overall, food was delicious, points up to the chef!!!! Just wish it came out sooner, then it would have been an excellent experience. Do recommend!

Our 2nd visit to The Coach House for another amazing Butcher's Price Steak Night. The steaks were amazing - fantastic quality and cooked perfectly. The creamed spinach is sooo good too. My wife had a veggie burger which was delicious. The new team are doing an amazing job with the food and we will definitely return - can't wait for the roasts!

Great food and place to eat ,we did have to wait awhile but it was worthwhile Handy they accommodated the dog and it just laid by our feet ,the whole experience was good
