As part of our visit to Dunoon, we popped into the is local pub for drinks. Staff were very attentive, prices were average and the range on offer was good. They have a beer garden and some seating inside which we were lucky to get. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is a very under rated bar. During the day it was very quiet but my goodness weekend nights are brilliant. I spent a weekend here and visited the Clansman on the Friday night. Best night out in years not had so much hilarity in a long long time. A fantastic night stayed until closing at 2am. Tracey the hostess with the mostess was superb, she knew I was a visitor and continually checked that I was ok all through the night. The music is great also. If in Dunoon be sure to give the Clansman a visit I dont think youll be disappointed. Whether it be a quiet drink or a riotous karoke night the Clansman ticks the boxes

To start with i've been to Dunoon many times. I worked there for 3 months last year. Met some lovely people. Been to The Clansman lots of times too. I invited my friend and his girlfriend over for a night. We went to the Clansman after Sinbads. Should have stayed there. We were sitting minding our own business and then a local guy barged into our company. Went out his way to be a pest. I complained to the doorman but he just laughed and walked away. The guy was definitely on something. It's a shame the owner can't keep control of his clientele. If you want a quiet drink don't go here. They folowed us out the pub and along the street. It was very intimidating. I complained to the management through facebook messenger. Their response was to block me. No reply. No apology. If you're in Dunoon I would advise going to Maclures, Sinbads, The Lorne. Not here.

Had to wait 45 minutes for a goats cheese salad and a toasted Bagel meat and cheese

I popped in on the off chance for a cheeky cider and some food. The place was very busy, and I didn't have a reservation. But John the Landlord sorted me out with a little table. I order the smoked haddock with chive mash and a poached egg on top. It was absolutely amazing. I was so glad not to see your traditional pub menu. The food was excellent and so was the service. I will definitely be back and I would highly recommend The Bell Inn, especially if you want something traditional and hearty that isn't just burgers and steaks. Although they do do burgers and steaks. I can't wait to return again. Thanks John and thanks the Bell Inn team.

Great bakery/cafe. Everything looked very nice. Had lovely coffee and croissants. Took away an organic sourdough loaf. Interesting, roomy old church location.
