The Chypsy King Restaurant in Charnwood

The best chip shop I have ever been to, never had anything that wasn't amazing. Could not complain about anything, staff are amazing aswell, always friendly and welcoming, if you went on price you would wander if it would be good but don't be fooled by how very reasonable the prices are. I've paid way more at other places for what tastes like yesterday's left overs, not only is everything piping hot but if you have not seen the size of the fish I really do recommend you go for that if nothing else, be warned if you do try it it will become the only chippy you go to.

Ordered the burger meal with tandoori wings and hot and spicy wings, it came to my house that fast I reckon I was still typing my order lol,everything was piping hot and fresh, and loads of it,I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TCK to anyone,be calling again soon, and also must compliment the polite delivery driver,top man👍🏻

Thought we'd give this place a try as a friend of ours recommended the meal deals. Ordered a delivery on Saturday night direct from their website and it arrived really quick. Very impressed with the fish chips hot sauce deal and wow I'm a big eater but I struggled to finish it :) Wife had the combo chicken kebab and absolutely loved it. Food also arrived hot which is a rare thing these days! Really good 1st impressions and will certainly be ordering again. Thank you Chypsy King!

Just ordered a sausage and batter never had batter this good, they gave me a few chips on the side for free which is very kind and topped it off worth a visit

Excellent food and very reasonably priced. The service is so helpful and friendly, it was of no surprise to find the owners are related to the owner of another local chip shop who I’ve also given a 5 star review. Like the majority of other reviewers I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Keep up the good work guys, you’re well deserving of those good reviews.

Two pies only warm, not for the first time either, even though my Chicken and Mushroom pie had been microwaved. The mushy peas almost cold. Chips were not hot. Only had a 1 minute drive home so cooling time was not an issue. Dogs had 1/3 of the chips. I don't normally post reviews but when I rang to advise of the issue I was told I would get a call back, it never happened. May not use in future.

Just had a Bacon cheese burger and small chips to die for. Burger was meaty no fat or gristle, 2 pieces of proper back bacon. Divine very filling, will certainly be going back. Lovely people always friendly
