Jerome knows his stuff, easily explaining what to mix and how, with a little bit of science too. We gratefully accepted the cocktails he made so effortlessly and then had a go at making our own, Jerome’s teaching style made this fun and easy and overcame any of our nerves with encouragement and humour. Spent £24 on 4x tickets for the euros games and arrived only to learn the event had been cancelled and tickets were no longer being accepted for entry, despite me only purchasing the tickets earlier that day! The drinks vouchers were deemed invalid too. Spoke with the manager who was entirely unhelpful and unsympathetic to our situation despite the fact that we spent £2k on our Christmas party there last year! Awful customer service and terrible attitude from the manager. Will not return and certainly will not host another company event there in future.

In day time, the place is decent and the food is nice. However, if you’re thinking of going here at night time. Be careful of the bouncers. They’re absolutely vile. Have no respect for people whatsoever. I’d definitely say, they’re the worst bouncers I’ve ever experienced.

Had an after party last night after a ball, prearranged a large group of about 70 of us to come in. Got given wristbands for discounted drinks due to being a society, had private bar for a couple hours and a separate seating area. Staff were great, good atmosphere

Drinks are expensive, less people, so not much of an atmosphere. They finish serving food early and we didn't eat in there.

My wife and I recently spent a delightful Friday night at Revolution, and our experience was truly elevated by Fraser, the head bartender. Fraser was phenomenal—he went above and beyond to ensure we felt incredibly welcomed. His expertise and passion for the craft of mixology were evident in every drink he prepared, showcasing an impressive knowledge of Revolution's offerings. Fraser's dedication to his job and genuine care for his customers shone brightly throughout the evening. We can't recommend Revolution highly enough, and Fraser's outstanding service is a significant reason why. If you're looking for a top-notch experience, make sure to visit and see Fraser in action!

We went for a mini ravers event, not brilliant, que for the face painting was ridiculous, not sure why they wouldn't hire more than one when you concider the amount people must have spent on drink. It was an event aimed at children but the music was far to loud. Not massively impressed, concidering we are a family that take our children to gigs and festivals this was nothing to write home about.

My friends and I had an extraordinary Saturday night at Revolution, and it was largely due to Fraser. He was fantastic—so friendly and accommodating. Fraser's deep understanding of the drink menu and his flair for cocktail making were truly remarkable. He was able to recommend cocktails tailored to each of us, based on our individual preferences. Every cocktail he prepared for us was crafted with precision and care, making our evening even more enjoyable. Fraser's passion for his work and his genuine hospitality really stood out. We wholeheartedly recommend Revolution for a fun night out and can’t praise Fraser’s superb service enough!

Horrible atmosphere. Not a morsel soul inside. Bouncer saw me alone and put me ‘in arrest’ and escorted me outside. Happy to leave as nobody was there. I hadn’t drank a thing but he wanted to kick me out for his own pleasure.

If i could give 0 I would. The organisation for ticketed events here is beyond poor. On two of three occasions they have had far too few bar staff - resorting in 20-30 minute waits for drinks and if you appear for a ticketed event around 12 - expect to wait approximately 50 minutes. To be honest, you’re far better going to a local pub where you don’t have to wait to get in, don’t pay ridiculous prices for drinks and don’t have to wait 30 minutes to get them.

Overly aggressive bouncers and the manager (Louis?) was incredibly rude.

Great place, amazing spacious outdoor seating area perfect for the summer! Drinks and food are really nice. Rachel, Malisha & Giuseppe were fantastic!

Ordered food, not busy at all, took half hour to come out, the burger I had didn’t even come with smoke as said, no crispy onions, and no sauce 🙄 and my partner had veggie curry and rice, and come with chicken 🙄 what a joke, chef got a new menu lol! Rubbish! And even better got to wait 3-5 days for the money back into the bank 🤣🤣 Thankyou so much 🙄🙄 what a joke

Had bottomless Brunch today and was served by Maleisha (sorry if I've spelt it wrong) She was so lovely and kept coming by to check on us and bring us more drinks! 100% would reccomend!

Had a Fab brunch, great service from malisha she was very attentive kept coming to check we were ok and needed anything, deserves a pay rise ! We will be back.

Your food is so diobocal taste and rubbish cats and dogs go there too eat and your food is under cooked and coffee is not nice either all your food is rubbish and useless staff and it not worth anything revolution bars not fit for humans consumption

Not impressed. Service was poor at the bar, was stood there for a good 10 minutes while the bartender ignored me and was more focused on serving and flirting with girls. When I finally did get served my drink was even correct. Toilets disgusting. Not enough tissue and hand wash. Bouncers were over-aggressive and had a poor attitude. It’s a little bar in Loughborough not Buckingham palace. Garden area is nice though. 2/5. Overrated and overpriced.

Waited ages for our food, even though there were 6 tables maximum in, cappuccino was luke warm and was finished before the food arrived, the food was worth the wait, very tasty sharing plates, music was very loud too, we had been here years ago and we were disappointed by how much it had changed. Don't think we will be back, Centro lounge across the road is much better but unfortunately they were full.. very sad as Revolution used to be very good.

Probably one of the worst Christmas experiences I’ve had. We came from the University and we were looked after by a young girl named Pip who was extremely unhelpful and dressed highly inappropriately. Won’t be returning.

Not impressed 😕 Went here for a works Christmas party, the food was very mediocre: I've tasted better soup from a tin, the turkey was thin like mass processed stuff and the service was horrendously slow, we were seated by 7pm, serving started around an hour later and our deserts finally arrived at 10:45pm. The portion sizes were so small that many of us ended out getting pizza from Pizza Express across the road.

Works Christmas party - all good apart from the food. Drinks, including cocktails were good; atmosphere was fun. Unfortunately, of the three course Christmas dinner, only the starter was good. I was so disappointed when ggs turkey etc came (an hour after the starter) - it was small, cold & uninspiring. The Christmas pudding waffle was disappointment on a plate. I'll definitely go to Revs again for a drink but not for food.

Had Christmas meal, 1st course soup average bread okay but no butter. Unfortunately we had finished it way before other diners had received the pate or goats cheese starters. 2nd course Turkey dinner was not hot. Service very slow. No condiments on table, no apple or cranberry sauce. Once again people requiring veggie/vegan options served later. 3rd course I had just plain boring icecream as the other options were not to my taste. No sauce, wafer or extra toppings provided Maybe staff to customer ratio was not ideal. Overall not a brilliant event, would not repeat next year.

Went here for our works Christmas party. Food was OK. Typical Christmas dinner with 3 courses. I had pate served with a chutney, a few salad leaves and some white bread followed by turkey dinner, cooked ok and reasonably hot followed by Christmas pudding waffle, not so great, waffle was cold and not much taste. Good party atmosphere and drinks were average price for town centre.

Best bar in Loughborough. Even though Loughborough isn't the Town it used to be for night life.

Waited an hour for some very average food. They did tell us 'slow', but this was ridiculous. Offered us a free dessert to compensate, but we didn't want to wait again. edit: Thank you for the reply. Town centre cocktail bar. The stuff are helpful, and they know their cocktails. It does get busy at weekends, but the garden area is great to sit out in and relax

Was put off a little as we thought it would be full of students, Well we were pleasantly surprise, from walking in the manager Carmine was so attentive and made our experience one to remember. Lovely environment. Although before we were seated, waitress already warned us, food will be around 30 minutes wait. When we ordered the food, it took less than that and everyone was happy and satisfied with the food.

Great bottomless brunch. Fantastic Loughborough venue, attentive staff, well maintained establishment. A few more options would be much appreciated on the bottomless brunch.

We had booked a table and when we arrived we waited to be seated, there were 2 tables with customers the rest were empty, there was absolutely no one serving, to make matters worse there were 3 people behind the bar watching us !!! When we were eventually seated we ordered through the App, When the cocktails arrived, what an attitude he had, he slung it towards my daughter slopping most of it out!! When the food arrived staters and mains together. No one came to see if the food was ok, everyone had disappeared again!! What a disappointment the staff are obviously only paid minimum wage with that attitude!!

Came here for a bottomless brunch with my best friend. Couldn't fault the guy that looked after us, he was attentive for the full 2 hours. Drinks flowed, food was quick and nice. Reasonably priced too! Highly recommended

So myself and my friends went here not long a go and things went well but at the end of the night i saw a security man preying on a woman that was way too drunk, she looked alone and this big guy was throwing himself at this woman that could hardly stand and he ended up driving off with her at end of the night. Not sure if that is ok but it made myself and friends feel very uncomfortable and it felt like he took advantage of a drunk woman. If you are woman please be very careful here and watch out for the security! Myself and my friends will definitely not return!

We love this place. Its nice and relaxing and safe. The staff are excellent and kind, great service with food and drinks. Their alcohol free cocktails are great as i am sober. Its nice to be able to still enjoy the atmosphere here.

ABSOLOUTELY RIDICULOUS! I brought my son here since he suggested we go for his 25th bday and there was alcohol being served, and as a 45 year old Christian, vegan mother of two, alcohol is simply not allowed in our culture. There was so many untraditional women with lots of skin showing (Unacceptable! What has society come to?) One bartender was well fit though xx 🍷

My friend Emily and I had our 21st Birthday here and it was great!! The staff were so friendly and helpful and made sure everything was set up before the party. Great Bar , Decor and Atmosphere and selection of Lagers and Cocktails... but the Gents Toilets need attention.... At 8pm on a Saturday the toilets shouldn't be smelling like they've catered for a Festival! Especially when it wasn't that busy ...maybe a One off ?

We went on a cocktail making experience with Myles who was exceptionally good. Very disappointed with the three course meal we were supposed to be getting. Instead it was a cold sharing platter.

The beer selection is terrible. They had only one IPA on tap and it was out. They serve Brooklyn Pilsner but it is as warm as soup so undrinkable.

All help each other cheat on their girlfriends and even their boss brags about cheating on his wife. Would not recommend at all. DISGUSTING staff.

It was my first visit to the place . Nice place to be with good ambience. However, i feel it lacked in music. The DJ was very restricted in the songs. My suggestion is to connect DJ to internet to include vast variety of music avaiable. Also, it will be a good idea to extend the timing of serving food toll 10pm instead of 9pm.

Great Bar with lots of space, Outside at rear is Exceptionally good looks & feels good, is comfortable and private for town bar. Bars is good lots of Nice cocktails and Shots on offer with happy hour is good. Real drinks and alcohol not fake syrups premade like other places! Service is OK and entry free in the week, however on Friday/ Saturday nights is terrible! Hard to get in need driving licence or passport? Door men where extremely rude and staff don't care when busy, act like place is too good for certain people then next day when it's dead in there is different story..Music sometimes good cud be better Genres and DJs but good dance space could be a lot better as venue lot of potential under used..verdict great place for drink and garden definitely but avoid on Friday and Saturday night unless u a drunken student or 18yr old with enough ID to open a bank account. lol

Enjoyed a ‘get out the house on a Sunday’ with my husband. Bassey was lovely, our drinks were what the doctor ordered. Thank you Revs.

The worst experience I’ve had in a bar/ restaurant in a very long time. Horrendous food, awful drinks (flat beer and badly made cocktails), dirty tables and disgusting toilets! AVOID.

Staff were nice but they did seem to be out of all the juices for drinks so drinks menu was limted. Happy hour goes on till 9 on a Saturday so lots of of drinks were 2 for £10! Inside it gets busy too as I belive it's the only student place on Saturday- great for people who want to socialise and booogy but maybe not besy for a chilled night pit after 10.
