I hate to think how long it was, since we were last in this pub, so a visit was long overdue. As it was, it isn't perfect, but still a nice place and we enjoyed our visit there. There seem to be some kind of Halloween themed party and so many of the tables were reserved, but we found one away from the speaker and it was very comfortable. There was a smattering of customers with it being early on and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The drinks were pretty normal prices for Bolton town centre and the service really friendly and professional. They have TVs around the place playing sport if that is what you are looking for and also seem to specialise in music from the 80s and 90s.

Use to be a good bar but after now the last 4 visits after lockdown things are still the same. The spirits appear to be watered down as over visits different spirits such as rum, whisky are far too watery even when there suppose to be doubles. Very disappointing so will be going elsewhere in future.

The Churchgate - Bolton This used to be The Brass Cat, but now simply adopts a name linked to the nearby church on the street bearing the same name as the pub. It is a modern pub, with sports screens and a pool table, but there are decent real ales, pleasant efficient service on offer and a nice relaxed atmosphere and easy access with everything laid out on the same floor. I met friends there and it was easy to chat with them without any loud intrusive music to drown out conversation.

Great pub. Amazing bar staff. Cocktails are great and great prices. Couldn’t recommend this place more! Jemma is the best most attentive bar staff!

We were not customers of the pub but we approached this establishment enquiring about where to get a taxi from. The bouncer offered to book us one and allowed us to wait inside until it arrived. He declined our offer of a cash tip and was extremely friendly throughout. If he is a representative of what this pub offers, I could not recommend it more.

I cannot stress enough how amazing the churchgate is! The staff are very friendly and welcoming,the managers are attentive and will do anything to help you,and the food is absolutely fantastic

Little gem in Waltham Cross centre! We have had a few breakfasts here now! Their selection was extensive, and the service was impeccable 👌 We will definitely go back and would highly recommend others to try there, too, if ever in Waltham cross!

Theobalds LaneIt's a great little cafe that services good food, it's not going to win awards but its fresh, hot and tastes ok. The coffee is good, the star of the show is thier hot chocolate with the extras.

188 High StreetCharge horrendous prices for drinks with little to no alcohol genuine scam just straight juice. had private part rented and random people were alowed to constantly come through. when asking creep on the street who was peeking through the windows at girls to leave because it was private rented we were kicked out because the creep started a fight. owner and staff were physically abusive started putting hands on some of the girls just for trying to explain the situation. Was impossible to get a hold of staff for a drink, bar was constantly empty. staff were constantly screaming at everyone for an issue that a random person started outside the pub. supposedly recently refurbished but tables were all sticky, dust all the way around and we did not even have access to the pool table that they put away. overall venue and staff are horrendous and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks not worth the price at all.
