The Chocolate Teapot in Calderdale

Visitamos por la tarde temprano durante el fin de 1940, así como esperaba era ridículamente ocupado. Incluso teniendo en cuenta el agitado fin de semana nos fuimos muy decepcionados con la comida y el servicio de atención al cliente. El menú era muy limitado y nos dijeron que el Chocolate inmediatamente teteras sin guarnición para nuestros sándwiches. Estábamos muy relajado sobre este como apreciamos tales estaba concurrido (pero bien planeado para fin de antes). Nuestros sándwiches servían en un plato pequeño con patatas fritas empapadas. Esperé 15 minutos para ser servido con un café frío mientras mi amigo me dieron un batido de un cartón. Después de esperar por la comida por debajo de la media nos pareció bastante ofensivos a preguntar con 2 minutos de tener un café paquete en frente de nosotros a pagar inmediatamente. El fin de 1940 es siempre estaba bien planificada con antelación, nos sentimos el chocolate de teteras debería haber sido preparado para la gran cantidad de clientes. Si esto nos esperaba un precio considerable para ser descontado de la factura o al menos una disculpa.

Un té de tarde encantadora con una buena variedad de sándwiches, pasteles, etc.. . Estupendo té y vajilla bonita y tradicional experiencia agradable propietario muy amable volveremos. .

4 adults and 2 kids for afternoon tea...totally fab...good choice off sandwiches...scones ..jam and cream..fresh strawbs..millionaire shortbread..cake and rice crispie bites...beautiful... the owner couldnt do enough .. wil recomend.. a hidden jem...defo be back .. thank u ☺ ps thank you for being understanding over my daughter missing her especially being a gluten free afternoon tea

Mi hermano y yo llevamos a mi madre para cumpleaños té de la tarde a finales de junio. Llamamos por la mañana y nos alojaron en la tarde. Nos recibieron con una cálida bienvenida y nos dieron la mejor mesa de la casa al lado de la ventana en el primer piso. El servicio fue rápido, cálido y hospitalario. Teníamos más que suficiente té para los tres de nosotros, y las tartas y bollos estaban deliciosos. El precio así me pareció impecable de alrededor de £25 por tres personas para el té de la tarde, es incomprensible. Sin duda volveremos. Es un gran lugar para recoger caramelos en su camino de salida. Altamente recomendado.

El té de la tarde reservado para mis hijas de bebé, lo recomiendo. El té de la tarde fue excelente, así como el servicio y el personal nada era demasiado problema. Yo les doy una calificación de cinco estrellas.

My daughter treated me to afternoon tea here for my birthday. As it was a Groupon deal, I thought maybe you were not treated like other customers paying full prices. However, the service was excellent and the food was lovely. Really fresh sandwiches and cakes, and so much of it, I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! The only small criticism would be that I would have preferred my pot of tea with the food, as it was fairly cold by the time the food came. Didn't complain as the man attending to us appeared to be by himself and rushed off his feet.

We went for afternoon tea, Given individual choice of tea in our own teapot, also came with hot water in a separate pot - nice not to have to ask, we're supposed to be a nation of tea drinkers. Bone China cups. We were given a choice for what we'd like then it was freshly made. The amount meant we took some cake home. The tearoom is above the Sweet shop so steep stairs if your not great on your legs. The room itself is small but bright with the gentle sound of Classis FM in the background. We weren't rushed and the owner was very attentive. Highly recommended.

Had afternoon tea here with two friends. A very friendly, cosy tea room. The gentleman in charge could not been more helpful or friendly, he could not do enough for us. Thank you for making our tea special. Highly recommended.

My wife was given a present of a Groupon voucher to have afternoon tea for two here. All food and drink is obviously freshly prepared and the chap serving was friendly, helpful and attentive. Worth the trip for a nice feed!

I went out with my mam & dad to find out where the chocolate teapot was because I had bought all 4 of us Groupon voucher for a treat. We found it after quite a while, it was above the sweet shop. Anyway we went in bought some sweets then went for a cuppa & scone as well. Very nice 😊 atmosphere 😊 & lovely sweets 🍬.

The food was lovely especially the scones. We were offered more to drink and the amount and selection of food was good.. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

What a lovely afternoon tea! Just back from a visit to the chocolate teapot we were really impressed and will definitely be back. We were given a choice of sandwiches which is a nice touch as I'm a little fussy. The scones were amazing as was the cake. We couldn't finish everything so we brought some bits home for later! Really friendly place that's well worth a visit.

My wife and I redeemed a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea given to us as a Christmas present. We really enjoyed the experience. The staff were warm and friendly and offered a great service. Food was delicious and there was plenty for the both of us (great for veggies too)! A really pleasant experience that we'd certainly do again.

We have recently had our daughter's 8th birthday party here. Everything we requested was done with exceptional service and a smile. The kids loved the sweet tree making and the parents loved browsing the sweets in the shop at the end

My mum and I went to The Chocolate Teapot today for an afternoon tea after my Mum was given a voucher from Groupon as a gift for Christmas. We have been looking forward to it for a while now although I was a little put off by the managements response to a previous review I had seen on trip advisor. Upon arrival the sweet shop looked very pretty so we had a brief look around before being taken upstairs by the shop assistant. The lady was very polite and friendly and we were served tea straight away which was great. In the afternoon tearoom there were 3 other tables and it was nicely spaced out. The pictures on the walls were a bit unusual and seemed quite Christmassy but the room was cosy and warm! The food arrived and it was nicely presented. The gentleman who served us was well dressed and polite. We were not given an option about sandwich toppings which was a shame but there were 4 options on show so we managed to make it work (my mum is allergic to cheese and dislikes tuna so I had those ones). The scones were very nice and fluffy and the cream was delicious. We decided not to eat the cake there and then but the staff quickly boxed it up for us so that we could take it home. Overall it could do with a bit more attention to detail but it is cute and cosy.

We took an elderly friend as a treat last Friday afternoon, using groupon vouchers.

I paid with a groupon voucher for afternoon tea for 2 and my husband joined us and paid full price. Well I am sorry but what a small tea party. Selection of 3 small sandwiches, 3 scones, one very large rough cut piece of cake and one small cut piece of cake and some other bits added. Not an afternoon tea at all for three adults. I have been to lots of afternoon teas which are the fashion now, but sorry Chocolate Teapot you do not make the grade.

Me and my parents came for afternoon tea, after purchasing Groupon voucher! Food was lovely with a large selection of cakes/sweet treats! Staff were brilliant, checking we had topped up drinks and tea room upstairs was a nice private room for a much-needed catch up! Would definitely recommend this as a value for money day out! Obviously purchasing lots of sweets on the way out ;)

Me and my two best friends came here for afternoon tea as a birthday present to me and I really enjoyed it. The sweet shop is really great and I loved looking around while we waited for our table. We went upstairs and were seated at a table by the window. I had a hot choc instead of tea or coffee and it was gorgeous. The afternoon tea itself was great and very filling. Just enough with four little sandwiches each. Plenty of sweet treats! My friends and I cut everything into 3 so we could all have little bits. The scones were gorgeous too. I would recommend grabbing some of the sweets to take home too. It's safe to say we stacked quite a bit in our bags!
