Wow, what a takeaway never in my life have I had better

Over-priced, over-cooked disgusting food, chicken was hard enough to smash glass and the chips were about three months over cooked, the doner kabab tasted bad slimy and off and the burgers were bland, will never order from here again

I have never experienced such emotional damage opening the box, my dreams of chicken and chips turned into a devout adventure into the palace of food poisoning. No liter amount in sauce could fix the bland taste rollercoaster I embarked on. If offered a full refund, it still wouldn't compensate for the tears shed over this loss of a meal. Update: After a venture onto the toilet, I have found no solice from the onslaught the chicken has reigned over my stomach.

The food was absolutely awful, and not worth the money they charge. Will not be going there again.

Small portions, overcooked and Luke warm at best

Absolutely disgusting ordered on line a halloumi and salad wrap it came soaking wet wrap as inside was cooked mushrooms peppers onions and aubergine that I did not ask for no mint sauce what a waste of £8.50 plus my husbands chicken donor was the same stick to the paper, £17.00 wasted won’t be going there again

I am disgusted - I have been riding here for years until tonight Ordered my boy the chicken Shish kebab for £8.75 and revived 5 chunks of chicken - called and was told it’s the way their prices are and there is nothing I can do about it. Now I will need to share a wrap with my boy so he can actually have a meal. Poor Customer Service!

Used to be £3 for a doner kebab. Now £13 or something what the hell. Old guy retired, he was well respected and it was lovely food. This recent lot are all about the money. They don't care about spreading Turkish food around they don't care about that. It's all about the money it's like 13 quid for something that was £3 before. There's always KESKINS.

We have been eating takeaway mixed Lamb and Chicken Shish Kebab as a family takeaway and as the healthy takeaway option, Chicken Lamb, salad, pitta , for over a decade. Ever since the kids wanted takeaway I sold them the idea of good Shish kebabs and they bought into the idea. I think I'm due a share certificate in the post any day due the amount of revenue we put across their counter annually. Keep up the good work guys and girls. Anyone stuck late at night, get a Shish Kebab and enjoy, you cannot go wrong as a takeaway option.

Was charged over £18 for a chicken shish kebab and on there website it’s only £8.45 over £10 extra on just eat chicken diner wrap £13.70 and on there website it’s £7.45 I have really been over charged will not be coming back that’s for sure

I have been ordering food from Charcoal Grill for many years now. The food is well-cooked and tasty with well-seasoned meat and fresh salads. The service is friendly, warm and efficient and really makes this place stand out.

food was greasy and tastless, worst order we have had from there so far to be honest ! . chips were greasy and soggy and the cheese was clumped as well as funny tasting . threw them away as they were that bad . same with the other chips in pitta!

This used to be our absolute favourite treat up until a few months ago. We were sent food that was not the usual 'chicken kebab' it had red peppers in it. In all the years we've been to this great food shop/take away, they've never served this to us like that. When I rang their line to ask about it the last time we had delivery, the girl who answered the phone had to make sure to tell me I was wrong. She also had to make SURE to tell me 'since iiiiiii've been working here the last few years, it's always been served like that so I don't know what to tell you Ma'am!' WOW my gosh, OK I repeated myself TO her, in ALL THE YEARSSSSSS Like 10?? more? years that we've been going there, it NEVER had those red peppers in them (If they were 'red peppers' I'm not 100% sure what they were! We didn't eat it!) To wind this forward, she had to argue this with us repeatedly. My husband wound up taking the phone from me and said we WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN coming back to you guys if you'd SERVED it that way, what part of that do you NOT understand! She.......repeated herself VERY Rudely!! In the last three years or so I've been working here, at which point my husband said, Good day! We'll not be back to you people again! We've since shared this experience with everyone we know!! Sorry Charcoal Grill!! Very sorry but your 'person' has sold us out the door to never come back. (We never had those red pepper bits in our food before! We never would have ordered it again all these years if it had!!)

Order arrived swiftly but there is hair that resembles pubic hair in my food

Service: friendly, accurate and lightning fast, Food: big portion, good taste, not too oily not too dry, just well balanced. Cleanliness: generally clean and tidy. Would reccomend them anytime you need a good meal 😊

I've tried this place very late when I lived in Andover but it was a great try when I did it since I'm a doner wrap fan.

Delicious! Fresh! Generous! Value for money! I don't know what else to say but for a tenner we buy a large mixed chicken and lamb donner - and it's enough for two. Staff are lovely and efficient. It's very clean and we've never had a bad experience.

Absolutely disappointed, the food was stone cold. Not what we ordered. They have really gone down hill. Definitely put us off for the future.

Normally good food, but mine was cold and donner meat was crispy. No sauce in wrap, and also delivery driver didn’t listen to delivery requests at all and was late

couldn't eat it. unfortunately it was dry. even the salad was dry and inedible. sadly we've never eaten any kebab as dry as this one.

Usually very good but this evening just couldn’t be bothered to deliver our order. 30 minute wait after 1hr 15 gave up and cancelled the order.

Very poor, meat very dry as if it has been sat around for some time, wrong order as well, no Salad, or chill sauce, order arrived cold. I will not be ordering from the charcoal grill again!!!!

chicken kebab was so greasy even the salad was greasy. I had 2 mouthful and had to throw it all away. I was so surprised because normally it is beautiful but this is the first and last time I will ever order from here.... not impressed

Just witnessed various staff behind the restaurant smoking with catering gloves on ,another bringing kitchen utensils out in one hand whilst emptying the bin and using a catering tub of mayo as a seat.Yuk all round 🤢

Ordered a special sandwich and cheesy chips. Order came super fast which is good, you would of thought. All food was cold. Had to heat up again. The cheese of chips was still grated looking. Not melted. The special sandwich was anything but special. Donor meat and chicken was dry. Bun not toasted as fell apart with the salad and sauce. Shame as this place used to be great. Not sure what is going on but they need to sort it. Charcoal I used to love the food so hope this is a one off bad meal.

I understand that at 11.45 you’re probably catering for the drunk people on a Saturday night, but when I have drove to you, ordered and been given my food to get home and find it stone cold because it was literally just sat there waiting. Not happy, food was poor, church Shish bits were pink, donner meat cold. I’ve ordered before and it was good, but it was dreadful tonight. Only saving grace was the lad that served me had great service. Shame the food was terrible. £15 wasted

Ordered a shish kebab with extra of all of the salad also a large kebab. The chicken was okay, but there was hardly any salad and what was there was slightly wilted, the kebab meat was very dry and was probably old meat. We also ordered 2 x chips which seemed old. This was similar to the last time I ordered. Very very disappointed with charcoal grill, this was always a good takeaway. NOT NOW!

It arrived in very quick time! But when the food arrived it was so cold!!! It was greasy! The bread was inedible it was dripping in grease, the chicken was just awful, it was full of fat, by far the worst meal I've eaten in a long time, this is the second time I've ordered from there the first time was just the same, but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt!! What a mistake that was, will never order from here again, money down the drain!!

We just had a kebab delivered it was cold, looked disgusting, was greasy the pita was uneatable due to the grease, the chicken was greasy not breast chunks as you’d expect in a kebab but a shredded whole chicken. By far the most disgusting kebabs we have ever had, the only positive is it only took 20 mins to arrive but when we saw what we got we understood why a rushed messy disgusting thing I would only recommend for the bin. Will never eat there again!!!!!

It looks like I got meat that was cut at lunchtime it was like eaten pork scratchings the meat was that hard.

What a disappointment! I’ve ordered lamb shish and chicken wrap, chicken wrap is OKish, but lamb is just not eatable, very chewy and hard. I doubt I’ll be back there.

I did put in the notes that I only wanted certain salad however this wasn’t looked at and I had the wrong salad in it.

It was ok. I wish they'd put more salad on and the food, wasn't hot just warm and the lamb was grisly and chewy. Won't be rushing back. Seriously though the order system extra means lots of not the smallest amount 🤷🏼‍♀️ Shame because charcoal grill was always a favorite of mine

The best kebab I’ve ever had. I chose the chicken Shish and doner kebab for £12.50. Salad with chilli sauce and garlic mayo. Lovely. And the staff were very friendly too.

It was meat was dry and revolting

Placed an order was told it would take 45 minutes to arrive. One hour thirty minutes had passed rang them multiple times after this with them stating it’s on its way ten minutes it’ll be there! They did say they will call back in ten minutes after checking with drivers! Once the 2 hour marker had passed we called again as they never rang back had been told it was delivered somewhere else and no where to be found! No resolution or offer to remake our food or contact once they realised what had happened.

Asked for no salad etc, the wrap came full of green peppers which I am allergic to. I couldn’t eat the wrap and when I complained I received no refund.

I did request the salad and pitta separate but did not happen don’t like hot salad and soggy pitta. The food tastes great and the donermeat is very tasty

Since Sal left, it’s taken a few years for you to get back in the groove. The meal we had tonight was absolutely mega! Both wraps…with American cheese slices 😜 we’re absolutely banging, chicken was so tender and juicy. Chips were good too! Your back in the game boys n girls of best kebab shop in Andover! HIGHLY recommend. Staff are attentive to detail when reading your order too! Honestly, best meal whilst in the middle of our Harry potterthon.

Usually order from here on a regular basis however, the last couple of visits I have ended up throwing the meal (If that’s what you can call it) in the bin as it’s disgusting! Meat is stone cold and full of gristle and way too much mayonnaise and doesn’t take fresh at all won’t be ordering from here anymore.

Been going here for a very long time just for a kids sized Doner kebab. (Half portion). That’s more than enough for me I’m little and at £4.70 was priced right. Goes in to find they’ve hiked up the price to £6.00 for a kids Doner kebab!!! Enquired about the price hike and all I got in return was a shoulder shrug and “dunno”. You’ve lost a customer in me. Will NEVER return. Shame on you.

Only downside was they got the large wrap mixed up with the regular and mistakenly put the wrong sauce on each so the regular had chilli sauce and the large had mayonnaise instead of the other way round, but this is the 1st mistake they've ever made advice ordered from them numerous times with no issues or problems

So many people serving Your food going through 5 pairs of hands and you're getting cold anyway. Lamb doner taste like a cardboard.

I have had kebab takeaways from this establishment many times over the years and generally speaking they have been okay. However, I visited the takeaway mid evening on Friday 4th August, ordered a large Doner kebab with a small amount of chilli requested. Staying in a local hotel, 2 minutes away, opened the kebab and it was cold! It was also smothered in chilli sauce! It was also not fresh and clearly had not just been cooked! In the past you could witness the kebab being put together but this one was just presented to me wrapped up with no visibility to what had gone into it. Needless to say the kebab went in the bin and sadly this was a bad experience!

Not really my cup of tea. I find the food far to salty. Don't ask for coleslaw you will get uncooked purple cabbage. But other people might like it. Just my own preference. If I do go here which is rare I'll order a burger which is OK

Have been coming here for years for a cheeky mixed doner and have never been disappointed Always solid food and never disappoints me and the family but only isssue nowadays is the chilli sauce is not as good as it used to be - need to improve the spice and runniness but other wise I would say charcoal is the most solid kebab shop in andover

I personally love this place , it’s my favourite place to order from , the chips are soft and floppy , the chicken nuggets are chewy and soft , my family choose this restaurant every week.
