This the second time I have ordered and the food hasn’t shown up. Should have learnt from the first time. Have requested a refund from Uber eats and will hopefully get it back

Chicken or lamb shish is excellent. Hamad is a great guy. Always a pleasure to visit after a few pints.

Gave wrong order, phoned up & they said too much headache to fix and to cancel the order on JustEat. Came in a Ken's Fried Chicken Box and chips were refried. Never again. Update: They sent us the missing order plus extra couple of chicken after 1.5hrs. I'm confused now as they said to cancel the order but fixed it 🤣

Ordered wings and chips here quite a while ago. The wings were dry and the chicken is from low-to-reasonable quality but the chips were surprisingly good, quite crispy and fluffy inside but still slightly overcooked. Staff were friendly too. If you are on a night-out after some heavy drinking, this place is definitely your best bet considering what's nearby. Much better than PCK4U and Kens nearby. Avoid them like the plague and come here instead.

Idk how you’re still going, you’re expensive and serve possibly the worst food ever. Had some poor bloke on his own on a Saturday night, clearly not a as clue. Checking my overly burnt burger is cooked through on the stove after waiting 25 minutes and the only customer in the building. Don’t go don’t sniff near. Never thought I’d say it but Ken’s is over the road.

Didn’t give us all the chips we paid for. Underpaid and bad tasting chicken. Undercooked chips as well. Shouldn’t be difficult to make fully cook chicken and chips

Absolutely awful service from this joint, not once was the phone picked up and my food never arrived. Been before and the food was disgusting and cleanliness was repulsive however I wish I had starved rather than order from here one more time this evening

Please don’t waste yur money. Bought the mixed donner kebab ad 2 piece chicken. Instantly voitted. Kebab isnt real meat. Overall nasty nasty food. PlEASE LISTEN DO NOT ORDER !!!

Asked for a Lamb & Chicken shish. Got given a doner instead. When I raised this to the man behind the counter, he told me that was what I had ordered, which was false (as he knew because he put the shish on straight after I had ordered, and proceeded to offer it to another customer instead). I proceed to ask for a fork rather politely, before being demanded to say please, therefore I did, and then was asked to leave for no reason. Won't be coming back in a hurry, and certainly would not recommend :)

The worst burger ever had in my life, ordered a chicken burger with chips, the bun was rock solid the chicken was so dry and they gave little to no sauce nothing seemed fresh literally had one bite and straight in the bin, better of going McDonald’s and getting a mayo chicken. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to with this place , they should sell up and go home .

Absolutely dreadful. Not only did it have hair in it it’s uncooked. Don’t eat here unless you wanna be stuck in the bathroom throwing your guts up. Also, the chips were cold and soggy. Just terrible wasted my money and got refused a refund

Never received food. Ordered at half 2 to be delivered between 340-400. Called up at 4 to ask for an update, to be told it was on its way. Called again at half past after sitting outside the house for 40 minutes to be told that it's been delivered and was also refused a refund after when I asked as I never received anything. Was also told they'd call me back about an update and never got one. Basically called a liar by the guy on the phone. I wouldn't be calling if I received my order. Don't bother ordering from here, they won't actually deliver it and then they'll accuse you of lying when you call to complain! Absolute joke.

Ordered food at 2:00 still waiting at 4:40 called up and was told no it has been delivered and we are lying. Great and we was refused a refund too, save your money and go elsewhere... 🥱

Asked for a small chicken Donna and chips cheese and beans. Got told (after ordering) no beans, after about 10 times saying NO Meat. Got a small lamb donner and cheese and chips. Had to pay twice...Still waiting for my card statement. Don't order from here.

Call to order and told that they have no delivery slots and to call kens kebab. If I wanted to eat from a business that had such poor hygiene, I would not be calling you absolute disgrace. would rather lose business than look after a loyal customer.

I ordered my food at 0055. By 0140 it hadn't arrived so I called back. They said it was on the way. By 0230 it still hadn't arrived. I got in touch with Deliveroo and they called the restaurant. The restaurant claimed it was delivered. I called the restaurant who said the delivery driver claimed to have delivered it. He was lying. I never got my food, they won't give me a refund and I am extremely unhappy. If I could give less than one star I would. You should avoid getting a delivery from this place like the Plague. You'll probably get ripped off like I did. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I will never order from them again and I will never recommend anyone to use them.

Ordered from here once and the food was wet with grease, meat was barley tolerable and their burger sauce was disgusting.

Ordered a meal from there two days ago and it came with a long strand of hair right on top of the food. Avoid.

Ordered via Deliveroo, they did not deliver anything and when I called to complain they were incredibly rude and told me I was lying! Avoid these timewasters

The order was placed via Uber eats and one kebab order was incorrect. I contacted the restaurant and was handed over to the staff member who packed the wrong order. He denied making a mistake told me I was lying and after advising him I would return the wrong kebab to prove he made mistake he eventually agreed to send the correct kebab. He was unhelpful and rude and I will never purchase food from the kebab shop again.

Very disappointed 😥 donar kebab was cold no salad, wrong sauce, egg burger had no salad very salty didn't taste right. Never order from here again. That just cost me £17

I had a donner kebab and fries . The fries were ok but the meat on the donner was only Luke warm . I wouldn't go back again

Possibly the worst food I have ever ordered

Where do I start! I paid £7 for a can of coke less than a handful of undercooked chips and the thinnest and smallest wrap I've ever had. When I went back I was greeted with bad customer service, told I should have paid an extra £1 to make it a large and told to leave. As I wasn't given a chance to address this in person I felt it fair to address it here. On Uber eats the only option is a wrap meal therefore there is no option to make it a large. Secondly when paying £7 I would most definitely expect the wrap to be larger than what I received. Finally I would appreciate if next time instead of being on your phone and ignoring me you could converse with me. I have attached multiple photos including a photo of my flatmates conversation with a friend to show the actual size of the wrap. As a student I definitely advise others to stay away! Me and my flat definitely will be!

Waited over hr for large kebab and chips for the delivery driver to call and say he 3 doors away then we found him in car park in his car in the car park downstairs. Chips dehydrated meat not to bad considering

Two hours later and the foods not here, called over an hour ago and was told food would be here any minute now

Proper family run kebaby. A superior takeaway kebab establishment, support your local business you won't be disappointed. They have this amazing homemade chilli sauce which is far better than the rubbish bought in bulk chilli sauce you find in most other places. Good guys too.

Took our money and never delivered food

Worst place ever. Ordered 5 kebabs, 3 chicken ,1 Donna, and 1 koft. They managed to mess all orders up with/without sauce & salad. Chips were old, fried more than once greasy and tasted awful. They were the best part of our meal. The chicken, was barely even chicken it was old or frozen for too long it was very tough, it was only just cooked and too salty to eat. We ended up washing the salt off, and it fed the dog. Expensive dog food at best. Do your self a favour and avoid this place.

Ordered via Deliveroo, our food was meant to be delivered at 02:30am but come 3am (when they close) we still had nothing AND Deliveroo still charged us. Called them before closing but no answer. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Ordered scampi and chips, and they were sopping wet through! Phoned up to tell them so I could get a fresh order or a refund, the manager was very condecending towards me saying "I don't know what takeouts youve been to love, but the box steams up and makes the food wet." I've eaten takeaways before in my life time and never have I had an order soaking through like this, nor have to argue if there is an issue with the food. It wasn't edible. Also, my partner had chilli sauce with his kebab, but it was a paste and not a sauce. It looked grim. I wouldn't have eaten that either. I don't recommend this place for takeout at all, unless you are partial to soggy food!

I ordered a small dinner, bottle of coke and a cheesecake from deliveroo from here. When my order arrived (30 minutes) the bottle was kissing and instead I got a can. I told the deliveroo driver and they even said to call the shop as I did pay for that. I then called the shop and instead of an apologie I was told I was wrong and I didn't order what I did even thuyv I gave them my order number and I listed out what I ordered. After that the owner proceeded to tell me I was wrong, took my name and number then said he'd call me back. 20 minutes later I heard nothing so called back and another employee answered. He was clearly confused and spoke literally no English. In the background the other staff were shouting "what do they want" and "just hang up". Then the manager got back on the phone and said "what do you want?" When I yet again stated the issue. I asked to speak to the manager and the response I got was "I own this place". 80 minutes after I ordered and I only then got a call to say it's on it's way, overall food is good here. Just the service let's it down.

Chicken was dry and bread stale. Garlic sauce had mint and tasted unusual. Would not buy from them again

Just awful the bread tasted like it been left on the side for days it was stale. The sauce had mint flavour which was odd and the meat teasted salty wouldn't go here again.

Poor quality burger... bad burger van is better than this! Forgot half of the order and they have the smallest “large” fries I have ever seen, they were also very soggy and undercooked. Very small and bad shish too! Not good enough for Albert Road! Let some one else who is good at making food have this location cause you don’t deserve it

Absolutely disgusting meal. Ordered the super kebab for my family with salad. No kofte in the tray and only 1 naan bread. Chips were soggy and floppy and cold. The salad looked like it had come from a week old bag of salad you'd buy in the supermarket. Rang the take away about the missing kofte and naan to be told it doesn't come with kofte anymore even though just eat still advertised it. Made no offer to send a naan or refund the missing items. This was the most disappointing take away I've ever had. I'll not be ordering from here again and I'll never recommend it to anyone. Only gave 1 star because Google won't let me leave zero stars.

Chips were either hard or soggy no in-between large chicken shish was surprisingly small but tasted good and the burger was slightly over cooked. Only offered 4 sauces more variety would be good

the food was quite expensive and was not worth the money I had a shish kebab and it was a large it cost me £7 and I only got 8 pieces of chicken and it was disgusting my fiance bought himself a cheesecake and it was a small slice but charged him £3 for it and we order a small kebab but it was more like a kids meal and large chessy chips but looked like a medium I defiantly would not recommend to those that want to actually eat something decent after a few days of not eating properly

Absolutely disgraceful!!!!!!!. We received just bread and meat, no salad or even sauce ,even though the menu said Meat with Pita bread and salad and sauce. I politely rang to only be spoken to rudely because even though the menu gave a discription apparently you need to give special request not to get a dry horrible excuse for a kebab. We actually had a family member vomit from this poor excuse for dog food. Beware don't waste your time or money and just go to Shirin.

Praise to you lord Jesus Christ this stuff is the food of cherubs, angels and kings. I ate here once when I was really drunk and I swear it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted, like nature’s bounty in mechanically reclaimed lamb meat form. I went back the next day for a fantastic brunch and my jaw dropped off when the sober experience outweighed the drunken one. I smashed a whole lamb donner into my face and as the garlic mayo dropped down my chops I renounced Satan and all his works and passed through the pearly gates of heaven.

Absolutely disgusting, the mayonaise was like white water and tasted vile, I ordered a large chips and pitta bread and the pitta bread was solid aswell as the fact there was no more then 15 small basically uncooked chips in the box, don't recommend.

Happy days got here 20 mins earlier than stated. Sad days. My mixed kebab had so little chicken or lamb.😣 in fact none i could see. just donner meat and salad. All was tasty, salad was fresh but not what i payed for. Very dissapointed. Pitta bread as hard as nails.why do they not serve on a homemade naan bread? Do not like giving bad reviews but i did not get what i ordered. Cheapskates.

Always great for late night food

I ordered from the Just Eat app. I ordered for it to be delivered for a certain time. 20 minutes after the time they were supposed to deliver, I phoned them and told them I hadn't received anything. They told me that the driver had delivered it already which they hadn't at all. And when I told them I want it to be redelivered they were so rude to me and hung up on me. I phoned again and someone else answered the phone, they were alot nicer and got my delivery redelivered. Overall it was 45 minutes late! I will definitely not be ordering from there again!

Bought a double cheeseburger here and it was delicious. Worth every penny! Will be going back there again.

This kebab shop is one of the nicest friendly around and they are very generous and helpful they also have the best size meals in portsmouth for the money and can't fault them

It might sound like it, but it wouldn't be an exaggeration if I said that the best burger I ever had was from charcoal grill. Hence I am leaving my first ever review. The burger had a great combination of flavour and texture. Extras did not cost much at all. Definitely coming back.

Just eating here for the first time ever and for a tenner I got the charcoal grill special kebab supersize very generous portion even for me definitely five star would suggest this place to anybody

It is best to order a kebab with either lamb (lamb shish) or chicken (chicken shish), it is the best option since it is made over charcoal and the flavor is very good.

Last kebab I had from here was probably 15 years ago. Went home sober, ate kebab, three hours later threw up like never before, never will go again.

The Charcoal Grill is the best place to have kebab and burgers they are the must tasty food i ever try in Chichester and i advice anyone to try to eat from their without thinking
