Buffalo Restaurant in Portsmouth

So I ordered a pizza and this is how it arrived I called the takeaway and they said theirs nothing they can do

After a night out stopped to order kebabs to take home ( 5 min taxi ride ) got home. The medium was smaller than the smallest kebab ever had. The meat was more like mince. Small burnt bits. Not one piece over 2cm !!!! Was it the bottom of the barrel. The chips were so no Undercooked even the dog turned his nose up. £18. Not worth even a quid. Avoid ;!!!

Horrible. Honestly, everything is soaking in sauce, half cooked half frozen. Never saw a place as filled with many desperate looks eating a poor sandwich, honesttt That was the saddest experience of this city, for real Believe me or not, I threw my chicken to a hungry seagull, it was like hell no Lovely prices as well as you can guess Nope nope nope

Recently ordered from here, was surprised how quick the food arrived only to discover undercooked meat everywhere. Was told before ordering that this places usually under cooks food but didn’t think much of it but now I know. Very disappointed and would hate for anyone to experience anything similar to what I had to. Please just cook the food for longer amounts of time.

Go to yummies instead. Menu here is small and overpriced

The best kebab I've ever had in my life.

Ordered a chicken filler burger meal and it was disgusting. The chicken was like concealed rubber. It’s definitely been cooked twice ! Have called the restaurant and no answer… I’ll never get my money back so I’m hoping I can just save other from losing there money. I’m scared after that one bite I’ll get food poisoning 😩

£12.50 for a kebab. Have a day off lads that is extortionate

Lovely food, good portion size, chicken shish full of flavour and plenty of cheese on cheesey chips. Staff are nice and friendly it's become a regular treat

Said opens at 4pm finaly opened at 430pm and then said half hr wait for pizza, didnt wash hands while on the phone same time cooking pizza and wiping his brow, pizza was poorly cooked as convarbelt not working on oven .......will not order here ever again :( never normarlly write bad reveiws but this i felt justified

Been a few times and they got it spot on. However the last couple of occasions the order was incorrect with little help when I contacted them and the food took a nose dive. Plenty of other places around.

Ordered. Waited. Rung again. Delayed further. Apparently driver didn’t turn up because they’re busy. ‘Manager’ showed up with food and demanded to take me to cash machine because he forgot his card reader. When I refused he then tried to sell me ‘my food’ (over £20) for a tenner. Sorry guys but you’ve lost a very loyal customer as well as clients and staff.

I usually pass this place on my way home. Decided to go in, as the chicken donner on the spit looked fresh and amazing. Unfortunately, after I ordered the person that served me proceeded to take the meat from a pot looking holding cell and put it onto a flat top to reheat it. This was obviously yesterday's cook, but what baffled me is the fact that this was a Wednesday night and the fresh spit was never going to be exhausted that night. So, essentially, they decided to use yesterday's meat, so they could use today's meat, tomorrow. Very poor practice. I've been in before and an older fella always treated me right. This time, not good at all and has put me off coming back.

Got the saddest "large" chicken shish kebab. About five pieces of thinly sliced dry chicken.

Good food but recent price increases are crazy. So no longer on my recommendation list. Portion sizes also small considering the increased cost. Longer walk to Yummies it is then...let me add if I wanted twice cooked chips I would have gone to Ken's..so good food as the saviour is out..

The food is decent, but only worth buying because of the price. The customer service, however, is poor. I was sent the wrong order, was told it wasn’t their problem and was hung up on while trying to find a solution.

Pretty good food I got myself some chicken strips and chips I got a drink aswell (Apple Tango) Tango wasn't damaged and tasted fine chips were nice tho a bit bland and the chicken was amazing. All and all 9/10

We were served very quickly and staff were nice, very good location as it's near to all the pubs in Portsmouth.

This place is useless, is the 3rd time when I order something and I receive something else, the staff is not able to take the the orders properly, I don't recommend to go anymore to this place and the staff is so rude.

Cold chips, gave my mate the wrong type of meat and got rude when we phoned up and attempted to make a complaint.

Used this service for quite some time. However, recently a significant part of my order missing. Staff unwilling to take responsibility. Will never order again.

Not my usual place for a chicken kebab but while I was waiting a homeless person walked in explaining that he was hungry. Without hesitation or comment the staff whipped him up a kebab which he was thankful for. This is rare in modern life so fair play to Buffalo Restaurant, the kebab was tasty too.

If I could rate lower I would, ordered two pizzas with notes and both pizzas were wrong. When I rang to explain, I was told there was nothing that could be done and if I wanted what I actually ordered, I would have to re-order through under eats which basically means I'll probably have the same problem as the first order. Customer service was so bad and the lady couldn't wait to get me off the phone. 🤦🏽‍♂️

If I could rate a 0 rating I would !! Disgusting service and communication skills. Order was wrong with both meat option being wrong and sauce option being wrong even though it was repeated over the phone. When contacted to explain order was wrong they tried to 're charge us delivery fee and burger charge! Surely their mistake should be a complimentary exchange or refund ? Extremely rude and aggressive staff member !! Will NEVER order from this place again !!!

Massive Buffalo "special" with loadsa meat, well cooked and very tasty.

Nice mozzeralla sticks, pizza was swiming in grease. Delivery guy was friendly.

We dont normally have any problems with this place .food and service is always great . For the 1 st ever we had a wee issue re food mix up of an order but this was sorted out straight away.i would like others due to Takeaways being over run with orders .please be patient and polite with them as they are doing there but most best.thanks for great food and service.

The service is excellent and food is delicious. We have been using Buffoalo for the last year and we haven’t had a bad meal. The Devil Burger is the best burger I’ve ever eaten.

Very fast delivery! Delivered within 25minutes of ordering food nice and hot and taste good for price! Was let down by " Rooster chicken" before ordering from buffalo restaurant who for some reason said that their driver couldnt contact me despite going outside many times to look for their driver. Think they just bluffed that they sent the order out tbh but yeah happy with Buffalo restaurant thanks guys! :)

Awful staff and the quality of the food was disgusting, cold slimy chicken, cold chips, soggy bread and the customer service was appalling, never had a worse meal in Portsmouth in all my life, vile.

We ordered a buffalo special kebab meal, with extra pitta bread. It arrived an hour after we ordered it, on a Sunday night, not a particularly busy time for a kebab shop. When it did actually turn up, it was cold, the salad was old, the onion still had the skin on it, the meat looked like it had gone off! If I could rate 0 stars I would, especially as it cost £13. Totally not worth the money

Shocking customer service, walked in and just got ignored while they had their own conversations. Avoid

Order take away for me and my boyfriend. When it arrived the fries were good enough for what you get in takeaways but the kebab was disgusting. Just a load of cooked chicken skin with an occasional bit of chicken and half a slice a cucumber, 1/4 of a tomatoes and a whole chilli, lettuce and sauce. Not to say that I ordered yesterday through uber and got a much larger portion compared to tonight's portion. Going in tomorrow to sort this out if it gets sorted well and update will happen if not... dont waste your money here...

Took my order and my money! Never turned up hour and half later called up for then to say I never placed an order and to get a refund I have to speak to a manager who is only in at 2.30am wont be ordering through app again!

Ordered food last night, within 2 mins of it being delivered I rang them up as the kebab was out of date and I was told I cant have a refund even though I paid cash?! Absolutely disgusting. Clearly use old food. AVOID 🤬

We’ve been going to this kebab for years. We don’t order from nowhere else. Portions aren’t the biggest but the food is very good. The price is affordable. I recommend this place to anyone in Portsmouth who wants kebab shop food. Defo give it a try

Ordered 2 medium chips burger and lamb doner and chicken kebab where to start chips was a Small hand full the lamb doner only a few cut slices and chicken kebab was so small chunks but the burger was nice but still i will Not be ordering again and £1.99 for delivery which most kebabs restaurants are free delivery

Do NOT order from here. Food turned up with a HUMAN BITE taken out of the burger. Partner started to eat hers as it was okay and she told me to have a bite. The burgers are gritty and dry. There is no flavour and the condition is disgusting

Clean and tidy but when I saw they were cooking my meat on the flat hob and not the charcoal grill (which was on) they tried to tell me it tastes the same! No way it does and I had to ask them to cook on the charcoal. I've never had a shish that wasn't cooked on the coals. I don't understand why they wouldn't. Salad was also very basic, no lemon or chillis given. Won't be going back, plenty of others...

Order two kebabs both with salad one with chill sauce and other with garlic sauce one comes with no salad or sauce.. they can't even make a wrap that's actually wrapped

The worst kebab iv ever had for quality. It was completely tasteless and thin burnt shavings. No good long tasty kebab at all. The burgers taste like fake meat like rustlers burgers only cheaper. No real beef. First time visiting them and spent £17 and won't re visit. Not happy at all feel like iv wasted money and time chewing on what they call food. I don't understand their current customers and don't know how they are happy with what's on offer. I'd advise going elsewhere to to receive better quality

Awful food! cooked poorly and no effort at all went into presentation

I don't normally leave reviews for stuff but I had to go out of my way to leave one me and my girlfriend were drunk and wanted some food, we didn't want a kebab because they're filth, we thought chicken sounded good and the place had good reviews but the chicken turnt up looking like it'd been punched to death and fried in two stroke oil it was 3 in the morning in fairness so I doubt much effort went in to it but still we were drunk and couldn't even choke it down

Good price, quick deliver, and the best delivery driver in the business. Remembers me by name and they replace anything that they get wrong in your order immediately. I'm not gonna lie that happened a couple times but it didn't deplete my love for ordering from here.
