Celebrated our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with our family (10 of us) for a Sunday roast. We were in a perfect room for the occasion and the staff were very friendly and accommodating - they were amazing. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. There was no pressure and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Will certainly visit again.

This pub has been a firm favourite amongst our family for decades when we lived locally. Not living quite so locally any more, hubby and I were really happy to have had the opportunity to revisit recently for Sunday lunch and were delighted to discover that the quality of the food, service, decor and atmosphere of the pub were as good, if not better, than we have experienced and remember over the years. Best Sunday lunch for a very long time!. Fresh, hot, lots of veg, great choices, great quality meat and all the trimmings, beautifully presented and beautifully served by the delightfully professional yet friendly staff who know a thing or two about the value of great customer service and a bit of pub chatting. We thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back again soon!

This is a review of the restaurant, no idea about the hotel element. We had dinner here on Saturday evening, there was plenty of parking and the place was easy to find. Services was lovely, very personable. We were in the room to the left of the entrance, a nice period room with plenty of space although also very noisy. The food was excellent with some nice choices on the menu and it was well presented when it arrived. Portions were generous so I missed out on dessert and other than the noise level it was a wonderful experience

Such a shame lovely pub but let down by food not heated properly and no apology from manager. A group of us went for a meal mainly food was good apart from three fish pies where the dishes were burning hot on the outside and the pie was cold . All plates were taken away together with half eaten salad, vege, all brought back but we did not know or the staff did not know whose plate was whose as what I had on mine wasn’t what I had before. My pie was now very hot but the other two Luke warm so had to be sent back again to be reheated for the third time. The waitresses were apologising but we did not see a manager and were not offered a discount. I can not understand why the kitchen have not got probes to ensure the food is served at the correct temperature, this is very worrying as I thought it would be a legal health safety requirement . I was very concerned as it was fish being reheated so many times and that we were going to get food poisoning also that we did not know whose plate we were eating from . Unfortunately, we were a big group so it was awkward from our side to complain too much and a shame as everyone else had eaten their food . We did not see a manager or offered any other option

Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.Very pleasant efficient staff. Good menu with really tasty food at very reasonable portions and prices. Best dauphinoise potatoes I've had in years with good selection of seasonal veg to accompany a very tasty steak and kidney pie. good beers. 2 real ales. Good wine selection. my wife had stuffed pork loin which was well cooked, not dry as it often is in pubs, and very tastyu also.

Came here on Sunday for a roast dinner... Could not fault the food was incredible. Great cosy country pub vibe. Loved it so much we came back on the Monday night as staying locally in St Catherine - the only downside was the huge portions as we could not finish everything.

Had an overnight with friends here. Rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. Bedding and towels fresh and clean. However our room, no 3, was freezing!! We eventually worked out heating and on our return from an evening out, the room was toasty! We were unable to get the bathroom radiator to work and the shower was awful and just dripped out. It needs a pump tbh! The breakfast and the Chef (what a great fella) completely made up for these glitches. Absolutely amazing! The table was laid out perfectly, plenty of cereals, fruit, jams etc. The full English was laid out buffet style and was top quality. Tea and coffee served in pots with the best toast ever! I’d return at the drop of a hat (but not take a shower ha ha) and we’re only saddened we couldn’t spend an evening in the pub which looked inviting and cosy. Thank you.

Fantastic pub the festive turkey with all the trimmings was quite possibly the best roast I've eaten, the staff were friendly and Very professional would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed an amazing Sunday roast here. The portions were massive and the food was absolutely lovely. My partner said they were the best yorkshire puds she can remember having! It was also really good value for money. Much cheaper than many other pubs and certainly no less quality.

We have visited the Catherine wheel numerous times over the last few years and have always experienced a lovely Sunday roast. However sadly our recent visit was very disappointing.. The food was cold and the portions have decreased substantially with barely enough vegetables for two never mind four people. An extremely noisy group of diners did nothing to help this lunchtime experience. Also third time requesting a quiet area on booking, however when we arrived we had been seated once again in a particularly busy noisy area. Disappointing, will not be visiting again.

We were a group of about 12 and we pre-ordered our meals. The food was excellent, service prompt and friendly, and the real ale was good too. Very happy to recommend this pub.

2nd time here for a Sunday roast and loved it both tines. One of the nicest roasts I’ve had in a long time and lots of it. Cosy little pub with friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend

We had a great lunch at the Catherine Wheel. Lovely old pub. Good varied menu, reasonably priced meals which were delicious and hot. Staff were very pleasant and attentive. Will be returning to try out their Sunday lunches soon. Can’t wait.

Staying at a local airbnb , so thought I would treat myself to a pub Sunday roast. Went in with my friendly and well behaved Yorkshire Terrier on a lead. The roast lamb I had was really good, Yorkshire puddings , potatoes, parsnips stuffing etc all spot on. Sometimes being a solo traveller you are shoved in a corner and made to feel 2nd rate to groups etc. Not the case here, the staff displayed just the right level of attentiveness, the young waitress who informed me she has 4 dogs at home was polite and cheerful. Well done , will be back when staying again.

Where to start? We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff and shown to our table. Classy decor in a stunning room in the heart of Marshfield, what more could we want? Well, the food order was all mixed up which left us feeling very confused. Being British we sort of went along with it but then had to ask for clarification (a starter was brought out instead of a main and a nut roast with no nut roast etc). We eventually got the right order. BUT THEN.... when the waitress leant over to place the food, the gravy poured off one of the plates near my child. Instead of apologising she swore loudly. The room fell silent and we were all left speechless. Unfortunately we were left explaining to a 6, 7, 8 and 10 year old why the naughty lady said that word. My 8 year old whispered to me 'mummy I will never forget this day'! Great, we only came for lunch. This was completely inappropriate and left me feeling robbed of what should have been a lovely afternoon!!!!

There was a lovely atmosphere. I managed to get vegan nachos! Yay! I am very happy and will be back for more 😊 Thank you so much

The best Sunday roast I've ever had - absolutely amazing. Extra yorkshire puddings, gravy, stuffing and onion sauce and lively veg. Friendly attentive service, would highly recommend.

Attended a very well organized clay pigeon shoot run by Edward @ Shooting School UK, then back to The Catherine Wheel for 2 course meal and England V Wales Rugby. About 40 people attended the shoot then back to the Catherine Wheel for 2 course meal which was delicious. We had the most amazing day and night. Roo and her team totally excelled - all worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a great day and boy we really did. Big shout to the lovely locals in Marshfield - super friendly and this venue will be highly recommended by all our group. Thankyou for a fantastic day and evening. Mary and friends x

Be very careful at this pub. Irresponsible dog owners with dogs off the lead are permitted. My dog was attacked yesterday by a dog who's owners refused to take any action or believed it was doing anything wrong, saying "that's what dogs do" - this is the kind of local who frequents the pub, so watch out!

We, a couple, were staying in a air BandB a few metre away form this pub. As it is the only one in the village open on a Tuesday evening we gave it a try.We had good hearty meals at a reasonable price. It was busy with locals and HD a nice atmosphere. Menu was limited but enough choice for one night, will try somewhere else tonight but if more choice would happily return.

Although recommended by our accommodation, and decent reviews online, this place is not good. Easily the worst dinner I’ve had in over 2 years. In fact the food was diabolically bad. Drinks were fine, and alright seating area outside, but do not eat here

Had a stir-fry salmon was dry, about 4 prawns and mostly a mix of red and white onions, a couple of slices of pepper. We ordered more drinks which didn't turn up, we asked to see the dessert menu, again it didn't turn up, we then asked at the bar where our drinks were and were told sorry I forgot! After at least an hour hour we asked where the dessert menu was, and he just brought it to us with no apology or anything...we decided against ordering any more as we had ran out of time.. we were told when we went in that they had everything on the very small menu, only to be told when we ordered that something wasn't available.. This pub has always been excellent in the past, I don't know why it's gone down hill??

This is an outstanding pub/ restaurant. Absolutely brilliant staff and a fantastic chief. We were lucky enough to have stayed here for a night and I would recommend it it everyone. Used the online booking service which Worked very well. Lovely food and service.Visited on 19th July (Freedom Day!) - Nicely written sign saying they were not having a party just yet, respected people’s wishes regarding wearing of face masks and that table service is available should people not be comfortable walking up to the bar.

We visited on a weekday evening. Unsurprisingly the restaurant was not busy but service was friendly and swift. The "pie of the week" was excellent - clearly home-made with generous portions of steak and kidney. The same was true of the dessert we chose - a lime and ginger cheesecake which was again clearly home-made and substantial. Presentation was not fancy - homely would be a better description - but very good value

We have dined at the Catherine Wheel on several occasions and have never been disappointed! The food is excellent and very good value. The staff are pleasant, helpful and attentive. We cannot recommend it enough.

We have had 2 excellent take away meals. The chips were crisp The fish was skinned and the batter deliciously thin and melt in mouth. Served with pees, tartar sauce and a wedge of lemon The tasty venison in the stew is very tender. Served with dauphinoise potatoes and 4 different vegetables. All well packaged and hot on arrival home . Highly recommended

We came from nearby Dyrham Park on the recommendation of the Good Beer Guide. Though we hadn't made a booking, our party of 4 adults, 1 four-year old and a baby was warmly welcomed and comfortably accommodated. We had well-kept beer and very good food - a varied menu to choose from, and everybody found something to like. The staff were lovely, and very kind about accommodating the baby! A really good find, and we hope to be back!

Where to start ... from entering and some young person saying you’ve come to best to pub to actually getting in pub to be met by a young woman shouting out about a woman’s personal area !!!!Um wish we’d left then Ordered starters and mains Nachos arrived ... with sides of mayo , sweet chilli sauce and bbq sauce !!!!!!!!!! No sour cream or guacamole!! Random did ask young waiter ... clueless Mains ... Pie .. chicken and mushroom was ordered .... steak and kidney received .., chick pea , coconut and pumpkin curry ....., grey in colour ... no coconut ... aubergine and some green slimy veg ... basically dreadful Won’t be back after years of using this restaurant... really shocked how a place has gone downhill.., was always our favourite local restaurant.......... Apologies to lovely waitress after I called food disgusting... really wasn’t her fault and to the other waitress who had the good grace to apologise for the drunken woman’s language on arrival ... basically a waste of £100 .. ....

Comida casera sencilla, recién hecha para servir. Tuve el pastel del día con patatas fritas, verduras y salsa y mi marido tenía patatas fritas y guisantes blandos. No he estado aquí por un tiempo, pero sigue siendo realmente bueno. Sistema unidireccional, sin pedidos en el bar, desinfectante de manos disponible. Mesas bien espaciadas en la habitación donde estábamos. Servicio muy rápido y eficiente. Tuve el pollo y tocino asado, mi marido tenía la carne. Servido en deliciosos platos calientes. Verduras frescas servidas por separado, judías verdes, acelgas y zanahorias aderezadas con perejil, todo bien presentado, todo delicioso. Flores frescas sobre la mesa. ¡Y más barato de lo que pagamos normalmente! La única queja fue que hubo una gran fiesta en la habitación que era bastante ruidosa, pero supongo que no se puede hacer nada al respecto. Definitivamente volveremos a ir. (Solo es un gusto personal, lo sé, pero si fuera por mí, agregaría un poco de color a esa habitación, es muy suave estar solo en crema. ¡Algunas plantillas se verían hermosas!)

The Catherine Wheel does really nice Sunday roasts. Well me and the kids thought so but my wife did not enjoy the pork. Hence knocking down from 5 to 4 stars. Foods was good for me and the kids, service was nice.

Lo suficientemente agradable, pero inicialmente puso a nuestro grupo de cinco en la mesa cerca de la barra que simplemente no era lo suficientemente grande Afortunadamente, otro grupo fue uno corto que nos permitió intercambiar mesas.La comida era deliciosa, pero la presentación fue un poco extraña con verduras compartidas en el plato y asados servidos con salsa de cebolla que no salió bien.El personal parecía bastante nervioso y el ambiente en el comedor ruidoso. . . Al llegar nos dieron la opción de dos mesas, y decidimos que la más cercana al bar era la mejor opción para un poco más de ambiente. Dado lo cerca que estaba la mesa del bar, entablamos una buena relación con el personal del bar, que fue muy amable y servicial. El menú tenía algo para todos excepto (sorprendentemente) una hamburguesa de carne ubicua y cara! Siempre busco un tablero de especialidades, y ciertamente no me decepcionó una Partridge Hot Pot, que era absolutamente deliciosa, y a los 12 años, incluyendo una selección de papas, ¡fue una ganga absoluta y muy sabrosa! El resto del menú también tenía un precio razonable, y todos disfrutaron de sus respectivas opciones de comida. What looks like a lovely pub from the outside, is very unwelcoming once you walk in.We arrived at 1.30 looking for a drink and lunch. The bar was practically empty and the bored looking barmaid begrudgingly came over to our side of the bar to take out order. There was no smile no greeting at all.Whilst we ordered our food and drinks the bar maid made no eye contact and looked beyond us. When our food arrived at the table it was looked reasonable, but I would say that both of our meals were very average.The atmosphere was that of total disinterest in the cliental. In a time when village pubs are closing every week it is a shame that this establishment would not try a little harder. Not and experience to be repeated.

This was the third time we have been for Sunday lunch and we even took our daughter and future husband. Always nervous when recommending a restaurant but we had absolutely nothing to worry about!! It was as superb as were the last two occasions. Ordered at the bar, plenty of beers to choose from the welcoming hosts. We had a late lunch booked and it was busy but we were served promptly by polite knowledgeable staff who could not be more willing. The plates piping hot and plenty of it, we had extra veg on request, with extra Yorkshire puddings to die for and nothing too much trouble. Excellent value for money and I certainly will be back. I didn’t want to write this as I didn’t want too many people finding my little gem of a pub for Sunday lunch but it really was brilliant!! Thank you team ‘Catherine Wheel’

We stayed at the Catherine Wheel for two night to visit the nearby city of Bath. The one and only real negative was the lack of hot water due to a fault with the boiler which was finally repaired on the day we left. We had to boil the kettle for hot water for washing. This problem was offset by the comfortable accomodation, excellent food and real ales on offer. The staff are very friendly and efficient and nothing was a problem for them. The building retains its old world charm, including the creeking floor boards, and is clean and well cared for. A great place for a short break, visiting Bath and the surrounding area.

Habiendo estado allí como pareja varias veces, llevamos amigos a almorzar. Mi amigo y yo acabamos de embarcarnos en una dieta WW, así que preguntamos si podíamos comer una ensalada de gambas, que no estaba en el menú. Estuvieron muy felices de hacerlo, y el resultado fue un delicioso plato de gambas y ensalada mixta, bajo en grasa. DH tenía un sándwich de tocino y brie con papas fritas, y nuestro amigo comió un pastel de bistec y riñón (hecho en casa): ¡un pastel adecuado en la parte superior e inferior, no en un estofado! Esto vino con un lado de verduras más su elección de papas, eligiendo papas fritas dulces, que estaban crujientes y saladas. ¡Lo siguiente fue Marshfield Farms Ice cream, y un Fruit crumble con (pedido y otorgado con mucho gusto) natillas Y helado! Las personas a dieta se conformaron con una muy buena cafetera de café. Con 2 cervezas, una coca cola de dieta y un agua con gas, la cuenta fue de 54, muy razonable para una comida bien presentada y casera. Ah, y también había cremas caseras de menta con chocolate (¡llevé la mía a casa para hacer DD!) ¡Volveremos muy pronto - Fish and Chips cuando termine la dieta!

Se metió en la rueda de Catherine para una comida con amigos y tuvo una gran experiencia. El ambiente estaba a tope, la decoración era muy agradable y el servicio amable, pero por encima de todo el curry de carne que tuve fue absolutamente increíble! ¡Tenía tanto sabor que mi boca se está regando al pensarlo mientras escribo esto!

Lovely food served by friendly staff. Best garlic mushrooms ever and a massive Sunday lunch with lots of veg. We were all very happy indeed. The staff seemed rather inexperienced and forgot a few things, but I will forgive them as the food was so good

Esta noche nos dejamos caer en Catherine Wheel por casualidad y nos invitaron a una comida encantadora. El pub estaba ocupado, pero una mesa era escasa y la embolsamos. Pedimos tres tartas de carne y riñón y una tarta de juego con verduras y papas. Aunque fresca, la comida llegó rápidamente y cuando vimos la cantidad de carne en los platos de carne y riñón, nos quedamos sorprendidos. El Game Pie siguió y era igual de grande. La comida era deliciosa y el servicio excelente, y si lo que teníamos esta noche era típico, no dudaríamos en recomendarlo. Sin duda volveremos pero reservaremos para estar seguro.

Large group after a snowy walk, we had booked table which was all ready for us. Nothing too much trouble ordering at the bar mixture of roasts, nut roast, pies etc. Young staff very friendly and helpful, good portions and lots of veg and extra gravy. Some had desserts, very delicious. Just what we needed after long walk, plenty of food as sometimes as we arrive late from walk some of roastscalready off the menu or few vegetables. Here we had all the trimmings including plenty of Yorkshire puddings for hungry men

We live about ten miles away in Yate and like to take our visitors to good local pubs or restaurants. This was the best lunch we've had for ages. Chose venison stew and dumplings and partridge pot roast but there were pub favourites and vegetarian dishes available. You can tell the quality of the chef by the vegetables - done perfectly. The desserts were superb. The service was cheerful and informal.

This is was our second visit although first time for a Sunday Roast. It was busy so food took a little while to come, roast potatoes were hit and miss, some were cooked and others were a little hard, had to ask for the veg to accompany roast, very sparse, the meat was lovely with plenty of it and two of our party had the steak and kidney pie which they said was lovely. Desserts from ordering again took ages and when arrived two of the order did not surface had to re-order, we cancelled one and asked for the cafetiere of coffee again, which again took a while, meanwhile the manager came over and said that the aforesaid desserts had not been ordered hence they were missing!! little bit of an attitude. Wouldn't rave about the food it was your typical pub roast not disimilar to other venues and quite pricey. Our first visit was faultless and the food was great, so perhaps just avoid busy Sunday Lunchtimes !!

It was a very oldy worldy pub and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu could have been more extensive, as they didn’t have one or two items on it. Altogether a nice village pub.

Gracias a Dios, elegí The Catherine Wheel porque nos trataron muy bien y la comida era deliciosa. Tuvimos una excelente comida vegana, de hecho, una de las mejores comidas que hemos probado en mi vida. Las verduras estaban muy bien cocinados y sustanciales. El personal es la gente más amable y servicial que podrías desear conocer. Tiene un excelente y acogedor ambiente con una ardiente grabadora de leña en el invierno. Perro - amable también. Ojalá fuera nuestro local, estaríamos allí todo el tiempo. . . . . . . .

El Catherine Wheel es un pub rural encantador y recomendamos encarecidamente probar el domingo asado. La carne era excelente, comí carne de cerdo, que era suculenta y muy sabrosa, mientras que otros tenían el pollo y la carne, que también era muy bueno. Mi esposa y su madre tenían la opción vegetariana que de nuevo era muy sabrosa y parecía casera. La carne se sirve en el plato con papas asadas y un pudín de yorkshire. Luego se obtiene un plato de verduras, brócoli, zanahorias, coliflor y judías verdes, un plato de relleno, un plato de patatas asadas, un plato de chirivías asadas, un plato de cebollas en una salsa (poco común pero muy sabrosa) y un bote. de salsa. También pedimos un poco más de papas y estuvieron más que felices de darnos. Gran servicio, una buena variedad de bebidas y un asado maravillosamente sabroso. Debes probarlo, te alegrarás de haberlo hecho. Además, un gran precio teniendo en cuenta lo que obtienes y la calidad de la comida. Aconsejaría reservar ya que es muy popular.

On recommendation an early visit was planned. 2 Pork, 1 chicken and a child chicken meal. Both Pork portions were very chewy, I could not eat mine. Crackling was not the least bit crackly, plenty of veg. But potatoes were soggy and all the meals were barely warm. Service was a bit slow and not very friendly. We were the only diners there for quite a while, then one other family came in. All in all...an expensive disappointment. We seem to have picked the wrong time (Midday)

We called in for a pint and felt welcome. It is a lovely old pub, where the service was pleasant and the beer excellent. The food looked interesting with a varied menu on the board.

5 of us went to the Catherine Wheel today for lunch. We all decided to go for the roast. 4 pork belly and 1 beef. What can I say..not 1 element of the meal was nice. The pork crackling was covered in hair over cooked veg. Tasteless gravy and fried supposedly roast potatoes covered in pepper. We asked for Yorkshire’s with all but they were literally tasteless pancakes! Also all puddings sold out apart from 1. Surely the kitchen would plan ahead to ensure that they have enough of everything! Service was also very slow and poor. I made sure to tell our waiter of our thoughts as otherwise things can’t be improved upon but I could tell that this went in one ear and out the other! So I then told a lady behind the bar. We didn’t get a sorry just 1 pudding off of the bill! Possibly one of the worst roasts I’ve had. Such a shame as the pub is lovely. I grew up in Marshfield and was truly looking forward to going back but what a disappointment.

Four of us walking the Cotswold Way reserved a spot here for dinner and we were thoroughly enchanted by the place. Great G&Ts;, amazing service and really, really yummy food. Ingredients were fresh, prepared as we ordered and the rooms are stunning (Restoration Hardware) I’d be back in a heartbeat.

We called in enroute to Marshfields Ice Cream Shop. I had the Wiltshire Ham & Eggs and they were just as good as last year. Very generous helpings. My wife had sandwiches with the chipped sweet potatoes and enjoyed that too.

We were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch off the M4 heading out of Bristol. Marshfield is a delightful village, now nicely bypassed and The Catherine Wheel caught our eye on arrival. It is a stone building of some stature with a welcome feel about it - a 'local', and a place for passers by. The food was promptly and courteously served, generously portioned and very tasty. The coffee which followed was of good quality - my indicator that the owner truly cares. This was a pleasant break in a long journey.

Had a very comfortable stay at The Catherine Wheel. The room I stayed in was a decent size and very light, with comfortable bed, and the bar and restaurant are most attractive. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, we had an excellent breakfast too. It was also very good value. The whole place was really charming and would certainly recommend.

We visited The Catherine Wheel in Marshfield this evening and although it was busy we had a delightful meal, this was the most tasty duck stir fry with noodles that I have ever had. We managed to follow this with the two different sorts of cheesecake, absolutely fantastic. This was all served by Lorna with a lovely smile. Thank you once again for a glorious supper.

Recently visited The Catherine Wheel purely by accident after finding out our original destination was closed and what a gem! The service and food were excellent and such generous portions I couldn't finish it all (even though I wanted to) the atmosphere and decor were charming. Very enjoyable afternoon and would highly recommend.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Massive portions with lots of veg. Very friendly service, despite the pub being really busy. I wish I could go there more often, but we live a couple of hundred miles away

Meeting with friends for lunch. Again, friendly welcome, nice atmosphere and very good menu. Our meals were a delight and the service excellent, as always.

Me and misses recently visted the catherine wheel. We really enjoyed ourselves, although it was very busy the friendly staff were able to fit us in. Actually I have to say the young team were very good, quite witty in fact despite the busy period so well done. Excellent choice of drinks with a good menu, can't forget about the kitchen staff as the food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Four of us dined here this evening. The food and service was good. The building is quite quirky and old which adds to its charm. We'll definitely be back.

I had the game casserole with a dumpling and it was very good, my partner had a fish pie and it was very poor. I tried it also and it was tasteless not a hint of seasoning - the chef/cook here wants to up their game as one out of two is not acceptable. Surely you taste thing whilst cooking them?

Do go to this pub for Sunday Lunch, it’s great. Tasty beef, beautifully cooked chicken, lovely steak and kidney pie, a nut roast to die for, loads of gravy and veg, and best of all, more roast potatoes than we could eat. Oh yes, and outstanding stuffing for the chicken. You’ll read some negative reviews about the welcome, too many locals etc and if that bothers you then don’t go. We found all the staff helpful and responsive.

Good atmosphere in the bar and a delicious steak & kidney pie (with the essential lashings of tasty gravy!) We asked for extra veg and this was no problem at all and we liked the gratin dauphinoise. Thoroughly enjoyable meal!

We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. The evening food was delicious and plentiful. The bar had a good atmosphere.

Always welcoming. Great food. Live in village and have not eaten here so much. But having kitchen done. So eaten here a lot recently and very impressed. Also bar is dog friendly.. good for our lurcher.

Went here as over heard a conversation by a friend of mine who had been and said it was fantastic. Well he was not wrong fantastic food staff and atmosphere and worth every penny.

Great old building with lovely dining room and bar. friendly with courteous service and good value food from roasts to a la carter menu. Is still as good as when we used to visit 10 years ago.
