After an 11 mile plus walk around the surrounding area, tummies needed filling but for my gluten free husband it still left much to be desired. With a wafer thin AND thinly filled cheese and onion sandwich with salad and less than 10 crisps, you may have been mistaken to receive more for your £7.50. No cutlery for the salad either or serviettes. But they did make cracking milkshakes.

This is a beautiful café in a scenic spot with parking. Welcoming staff and a cosy atmosphere, the cakes are homemade and the Rocky Road was absolutely excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

Having seen the many images of the wonderful selection of cakes and light lunches on instagram and FB ,myself and a couple of friends finally found time to visit, sadly it transpired the photos were the only wonderful thing about this little cafe, our order was taken by what I can only describe as the sullen and quite frankly disinterested member of staff ( not even a hint of a welcoming smile) a much anticipated selection of delicious home made fayre as their website indicated was missing , however there were just a choice of four cakes not looking particularly mouthwatering, and displayed in a shabby countertop cabinet ,upon asking about the cakes on offer I was met with a shrug of the shoulders and “ I don’t know I never made that one” on each cake! However never judging a book by its cover we ordered a cake each As it was nearing lunch we were enticed to order a lovely sounding traditional cheese on toast as well, the cheese on toast arrived shortly after,to say it was a disappointment was an understatement! It was a slice of bread toasted on one side which had been put in microwave to melt the cheap grated cheese on non toasted side!! Not even a hint of garnish! Looked and tasted absolutely insipid, considering their prices , the cakes were dry and tasteless. They did not do the photos justice, we were left utterly disappointed and totally underwhelmed ☹️ , shame as they have a lovely spot, but they do not make the most of , it is clearly an ex light industrial unit and the decor is drab and uninviting, sadly we will not be making a return visit, as three retirees we were anticipating a lovely local eatery for regular lunches/ coffee meets, sadly what we experienced was a bland overpriced workingmen's style cafe without even a hint of customer service

Yes with the tide out the Creek can seem a but of a let down but the friendly staff and selection good basic food is great. I really must try getting here for breakfast. Its a great place to stop if you are walking the Saxon Shore way or the Two Creeks walk out of Faversham. Never been disappointed here and the cakes are scrummy.

We often pop in here for a team work lunch. The homemade soups are delicious and the homemade cakes are an irresistible treat. The food is always hot and we never have to wait long, even when we descend on them 10 at a time!

Lovely little cafe on the creek - excellent coffee inside and outside seating and a conservatory. They do breakfast, ice creams, cakes and light bites. Splendid place that needs to be discovered by more people!

My daughter and I did a local walk and then had lunch here. We were pleased to see that, instead of soup in this hot weather, they offered salads. We loved our veggie ones, I had walnut and lentil chilli salad, my daughter had haloumi salad - both good platefuls and very tasty. I'm planning to go back with a friend very soon. Service very quick, pleasant and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced - you'd only get a sandwich for that price in a pub.

The location is beautiful and the cafe simply doesn’t live up to this . A bland sort of portacabin/ conservatory set up . The selection of food and cakes is limited and coffee weak . I asked for a white coffee and was served a latte . When I requested a change I was told to ‘ try it , I might like it ‘ , which made me feel awkward and as if I was being difficult. The lemon blondie had a strange texture, but toasted tea cakes were good .

Had a pot of tea and a piece of 'Rocky Road' cake. Excellent! A variety of seating, from normal cafe tables and chairs to soft sofas and chairs. Also seating outside overlooking the creek.

A fair amount of work has gone into this new cafe by the creek at Oare with its pleasant location by the boatyard. It's a great idea and well presented. But the offerings of snacks and sandwiches are just no more than average. A shame as it'd be well worth upping the game.

Long way from home we took a chance on Sunday Lunch here, and we felt extremely lucky that it absolutely came up trumps. Our family guests, who only live ten miles away hadn’t even heard of it, but they too were very impressed. Lovely, helpful, enthusiastic young team added to our enjoyment of the food. Can be thoroughly recommended. Prawn and avacadoes served with homemade sourdough toast sounds predictable but was far better. Tender pink roast sirloin with excellent Yorkshire pudding (and that from a long standing Yorkshire lady). Tasty home made lemon tart. Good selection of wine which was as reasonably priced as the lunch. Time to treat the family to a Sunday Lunch!

My wife and I had been shopping in the town early searching for a carpet but could not decide on one, so we went into the swan for a late breakfast. We have only used the cafe a couple of times before many years ago. The cafe had a new lick of paint and was looking good. They have a good choice of what you would expect on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable. I had chosen the full English and my wife chose the eggs on toast with a sausage as an extra. We both enjoyed the food and they gave good portions so were very happy.. The waitress (Rachael) gave excellent service, so we shall use this establishment again in the future.
