What a charming lovely spot. I went as part of one of their golden retriever meets and it was a lovely event. So many nice, well natured dogs, great coffee and cakes and a really lovely environment and view. Lovely to see someone doing something a bit different and it absolutely thriving. We’ll be back for the next goldie day.

The most amazing place to stop for a delicious coffee & snack next to the South Downs Link, whether you are a rambler, horse rider, dog walker, cyclist or runner. This is a small outdoor cafe run by brother & sister, Kieran & Emily with a great team of helpers, located in a field with a lovely view that opened after lock down. It has rapidly become a meeting point for locals & visitors alike for a delicious coffee, cake & natter and has just won 'Best Sussex Cafe' in the 2023 England's Business Awards. Its super friendly and dogs, horses & people are all welcome. They have regular specialist events showcasing local food, produce (they sell their own eggs), dog breed gatherings (most recently over 40 golden retrievers!) & a twice yearly arts/craft show. The decor regularly changes to match the seasons & different festive occasions. This is well worth a visit especially if you have a dog in tow. You and the dog won't be disappointed!

Honestly, the best coffee this side of Naples! We are regulars. We’re also great fans of their cakes and locally produced eggs and hone. Regular appearances of the Gorrilla Pizza people always ensures our presence too - genuinely Italian-style pizzas which are ENORMOUS! They do veggie and vegan too. A great place for kids and dogs which can safely roam free as there is no road nearby. Just right beside the Downs Link and so fab for walkers, runners and cyclists!

A spontaneous decision to cycle part of the Downs Link meant a few things were omitted from the rucksack… Coming across a sign saying ‘Cafe Open’ was a godsend, tasty coffee and a Bakewell Slice, together with a refill of tap water in my bottle made the ride much pleasanter. Friendly staff, lovely location, I’ll be back!

Lovely location. Good coffee, but disgusting cakes. Optimistically we’ve tried the cakes at least a dozen times and they are overly sweet, fatty and taste horrible. I don’t know why they don’t make them or buy from somewhere that knows how to make them.

Second time we have stopped off here for afternoon coffee on our way back from Shoreham on the Downs link cycle path. Great little place with plenty of seating, toilet facilities and fantastic coffee and cakes.

Normally drop into the Old Railway when cycling through Henfield but on this day it was closed so chanced this place. Friendly as it was there were no real savoury choices just loads of sweet sugary choices available so won't come back but the decaf coffee was fine.

I have not had a tastier Eccles cake outside of Lancashire. Washed down with a delicious mug of vanilla chai latte. I always stop here when cycling the Downs Link.

Great location about 1 hr north of Shoreham if you are cycling the Downs Link and a welcome stop for cake and coffee. Great views, and sunny weather help the experience and good to see some proper bike racks for all the bikes. Did not stay too long as we were keen to keep moving but a friendly welcome and good service.

We have been going to this charming place for quite a while now, when walking with the dogs it’s in an ideal place to stop have. Coffee & cake ( carrot cake is to die for ) And have a well earned rest and catch up while the kids enjoy themselves running around. Staff are always very friendly, and you are greeted with a smile, well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed,
