A great little rural yet cosmopolitan cafe that has friendly service and takes pride in what they do. Their Halloween display was top notch and this is the first time I've ever seen a place that serves a 'cappuccino' for dogs...

Awesome venue with lovely views. Coffee was good, we tried the carrot cake and the almond cherry bakewell, both were average and didn’t taste homemade but there were lots of other options which might be nicer. Very dog friendly and some portaloos at the back. Overall a great spot.

The location of this pop up eatery is really amazing with expansive views of the distant South Downs, and a setting just off the disused railway close to Henfield village centre. Most of the time it’s a coffee shop popular with walkers and cyclists, but occasionally does an evening bar with street food food. The pizza was superb.

Great place for going for a coffee/drinks, with a nice view over fields. They have ocasional events (i.e. BBQ night, pizza, etc). Does not get a 5 as there’s no where to park, or have the greatest wheelchair accessibility. The cakes are average, not being an expensive place.

The most amazing place to stop for a delicious coffee & snack next to the South Downs Link, whether you are a rambler, horse rider, dog walker, cyclist or runner. This is a small outdoor cafe run by brother & sister, Kieran & Emily with a great team of helpers, located in a field with a lovely view that opened after lock down. It has rapidly become a meeting point for locals & visitors alike for a delicious coffee, cake & natter and has just won 'Best Sussex Cafe' in the 2023 England's Business Awards. Its super friendly and dogs, horses & people are all welcome. They have regular specialist events showcasing local food, produce (they sell their own eggs), dog breed gatherings (most recently over 40 golden retrievers!) & a twice yearly arts/craft show. The decor regularly changes to match the seasons & different festive occasions. This is well worth a visit especially if you have a dog in tow. You and the dog won't be disappointed!

Honestly, the best coffee this side of Naples! We are regulars. We’re also great fans of their cakes and locally produced eggs and hone. Regular appearances of the Gorrilla Pizza people always ensures our presence too - genuinely Italian-style pizzas which are ENORMOUS! They do veggie and vegan too. A great place for kids and dogs which can safely roam free as there is no road nearby. Just right beside the Downs Link and so fab for walkers, runners and cyclists!

Please don't support this miserable little set-up, staffed by cold, unfriendly, conceited staff. Not sure what they've got to be conceited about anyway; it's a small hut in a field. No warm welcome for their paying customers, so I immediately felt very uncomfortable. And then, when I asked to see the amount I was going to pay, because the card reader had no display screen, the bloke tutted, made a face, raised his eyebrows and very begrudgingly turned his screen round 180 degrees to show me. When I mentioned that I found his attitude to his paying customer very rude, he muttered 'whatever' and wandered off. I would have found this attitude utterly incomprehensible pre internet, and now with reviews widely available, I find it even more staggering that someone can care so little about customer service that he doesn't even pretend to make an effort to use common courtesy to avoid a bad review. Visited 3pm Sunday 3rd April 2022. Shan't be returning and I recommend you don't either, unless this scant regard for you and your custom doesn't bother you. There are many other very nice, very friendly pubs and cafés on the Downs Link as alternatives.
