Excellent service. Really enjoyed the desserts and the trolley they were served on. The real ales were extremely nice and served at a chilled temperature. Roasts were fantastic. Definitely recommend. Very well priced

Excellent food, Skate wing was a good portion and nicely cooked. Dover Sole was again very generous.

Overpriced food in meagre portions. Slow service with a confusing set up. Horrifically overpriced soft drinks. A rip off for what you get. Outdated and a bit tatty. With a good cart that brings around the saddest looking desserts, like something from there 70s. An Inn lost in time, in desperate need of an update. Too expensive, too small, not the experience you should pay for.

Used to come here quite often about 20 years ago and the place hasn’t changed . The food is excellent and first class service. We visit different restaurants every week, and this one is by far the best .

One of my parents favourite places. Set in the 90s with staff wearing old fashioned clothing, and a sweet trolley being rolled around which I like as it's different. Service is great and staff very friendly. Food is good and is reasonably priced.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the service couldn't be any more friendly. Beautiful restaurant and fabulous service. Was a perfect place for date and the portions and prices were definitely value for money. We cannot wait to return.

The food and staff here are always excellent. We have been coming for at least 40 years and never been disappointed. They even cope with our husbands dressing up as Santa and causing a mess.

Driving past the pub on our way back from Marlow, we popped in at 15.40 for a drink, only to be told we could not as the pub was closed. Bearing in mind there were still serving food in the restaurant area, and more surprisingly, in the bar area, there were a few tables where people had barely started their drink. Needless to say we will not attempt visiting The Bull Inn again.

We celebrated our 19th anniversary. The ambiance was elegant, the staff attentive, and the food exceptional—steaks and sole that were perfectly cooked. While the lunch was simple, the restaurant made it memorable with its impeccable service and delicious cuisine.

Loved it, it reminded me of the seventies with smart, pleasant staff giving attentive service. The food was excellent, it even had a sweet trolley, there was a good wine menu. The prices were very competitive. A very enjoyable lunch and we will be back.

Fantastic place for that special evening out

Just like stepping back in time to a restaurant from the past. Silver service and even a sweet trolley for dessert. Food was nice. The staff are very attentive and service is very good. The 3 course set menu is reasonably priced.

Busy Saturday evening, rather noisy, next to a table of six women, two of which seemed to be competing as to who could shriek the loudest, celebrating one of their groups 50th birthday, despite the fact that there was a room full of other people out for a quality evening of fine dining. Thank goodness for the food and service.

We booked a birthday dinner for 6 people.On being seated we realised we were next to an incredibly loud table of drunk people celebrating an event.We asked to move but the staff did not respond to our request.The staff made very little effort to ask the table to be quieter .We could barely talk because their noise was so loud.During the evening we caught the waiter topping up our glasses with the wrong wine.We complained and all wine was replaced..We could not believe that restuarant staff would do such a thing.We were told they would not charge for the wine but when the bill came wine was still charged.As a final straw someone had been sick in the ladies toilet and it had not been cleaned up. Summary Our experience was like going to a roudy pub surrounded by drunk people.Our evening was completely ruined.The restuarant should have put the loud people in the bar area not a formal restuarant .They should have responded to our request to change tables.Topping up glasses with the wrong wine is just disgraceful and unbelievable.Leaving toilets with vomit is just disgusting in a supposedly good quality restuarant.I have not been to this restuarant for 30 years and I was looking forward to the dinner .I was truly shocked at that our dinner could be ruined in such a way.I have noticed that others have previously commented on noisy tables on other evenings so I suggest the restuarant owners think long and hard about how they control noisy tables and that they employ competent staff who know how to serve wine.The food was a reasonable standard but as Marlow has a lot of choices of restuarants I would suggest there are lot of better places to go at a similar price.

Very old school formal restaurant. They even have a dessert trolley! Been going there on special occasions for decades. Local real ale in the bar too!

Really lovely place great atmosphere and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. I ordered sirloin steak, which looked amazing, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we all battled through the steak it was so tough, although the taste was very nice. We all left half or just under as carving it became more difficult, and chewing through it was so hard. All the other dishes were very good.

Great old fashioned service with a menu stacked full of favourites. Prawn cocktails, mushrooms in breadcrumbs, beef wellington, chicken Kiev, the list goes on. All served with old school friendly black tie waiters. A great place to have an evening meal or a celebration.

The only drawback is the wait. We recommend booking and more, on a Sunday, a typical day to have the Sunday Roast! It's a bit expensive but delicious! We spent about £130 for 5 people, with drinks and no desserts or coffee.

I was taken here for a birthday meal, and I absolutely loved everything about The Bull. Lovely friendly atmosphere, great food, and wonderful service. Excellent. 5 stars all round.

Met friends for lunch at this charming little restaurant in the lovely village of Bisham, the food was absolutely delicious, I had liver and Bacon and it was melt in the mouth, the hi light was the dessert trolley ( not seen one of those in many a year) the staff were very friendly and the attention to detail was great, all in all I wish I could give it 10⭐️ it’s a shame we don’t live closer ( we were on our way home from Royal Ascot) but we will definitely be back next year.

We had a trial lunch today, prior to booking for a forthcoming event in October. On arrival we were greeted with a warm & friendly reception. The food that we chose was fantastic, very well presented & the wait was purfect. The attention from the table servers could not be faulted, well done to a fabulous, hard working, efficient team. We booked our table for October and are looking forward to our return visit.

Excellent service, lots of choices and good atmosphere

Amazing. The setting is fabulous. Amazing food. But the best part was the service. Alberto looked after us so much. I cannot fault this venue. I highly recommend this as a special place to celebrate.

Not the best experience, not sure what went wrong on this visit. Mushrooms with tartare sauce arrived as a basic plateful of deep fried mushrooms with a little bit of salad and the waiter asked if we wanted tartare sauce even though the menu already said it came with it. The leek and potato soup was watery and they neglected to serve it with bread without us prompting them and when the bread did arrive it wasn't really the crusty french baguette I was expecting to see. The cod was ok, a little overdone but nothing to complain about, the chicken was dry and served in a creamy looking sauce that had very little taste. Carrots and courgettes were ok, broccoli and cauliflower were bordering on being just about cooked so was very aldente but the "cheese" sauce for the cauliflower hadn't been anywhere near a bit of cheese it was a basic white sauce with no taste. The potatoes were nondescript. The whole of both dishes were bland and not exactly inspiring. To top it all there was a bit of grit in the cauliflower. When we told the waiter about the sauce and the grit he tried to say the grit was part of the seasoning, probably a bit of pepper, I know the difference between a roughly ground peppercorn and a bit of sharp black grit. He went away saying he would report it but when the head waiter came over with the sweet trolley we had to tell him again and this time he kind of stormed off and then the manager came over, apologised and listened to our criticism and offered a drink on the house and a voucher. We were at pains to say we weren't "after anything" and were just commenting on the food standards. He insisted though so we stayed a while waiting for the offered drink but it never arrived so we paid our bill in full and left. Not sure if we'll return to the bull after this which is a shame as up to now over the past 20 years or so it has been an indulgent treat mainly for the experience rather than the quality of the food.

The service was really great, all the staff were absolutely wonderful. I found the starters to all be quite nice and the desserts were lovely, I tried a bite from a few at our table. However, everyone at the table found their mains unsatisfactory, the salmon wasn’t fresh, the beef from the roast was unenjoyable, the roast potatoes were a little underdone, my aunts grilled vegetables (the only option that was substantial on the vegetarian menu) were unappealing even to her. I would recommend for the service and desserts, but if you’re in it for the mains, go elsewhere!

We had an amazing night at The Bull. It was a friends birthday and the staff were excellent. Elizabeth was the star of the show and was so attentive, she even sang with us!!

Went here last night as a party of 14 celebrating a special birthday. We had a blast! The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. A huge thankyou to Elizabeth who made our night. An absolute star!

Sunday Lunch at The Bull Inn, Bisham, was incredible. This family run Inn has been in their family for over 20 yrs. The service was exemplary & we were really, really looked after. After a wonderful starter, The Sunday Lunch Roast was beautifully served and cooked to perfection. Everything just melted in your mouth. A true culinary delight. We then had a dessert each from the sweet trolley, which were all home made. Coffee & Tea & mints were then served after dessert. The service was brilliant & extremely attentive, everything was timed to perfection. We never felt rushed at all. The atmosphere was happy, warm and vibrant & we will definitely return asap. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, they really look after you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went there with my husband and family for his 60th, this place was recommended by my brother, so glad we went.1st class food,service ,atmosphere, only downsize no baby changing facilities so my daughter in law had to change my granddaughter on floor

This is an old established family restaurant with a wonderful tradition menu. Very welcoming and friendly service with an amazingly extensive menu. They have a a very regular clientele who enjoy coming back.

Friendly and welcoming restaurant Another excellent meal and atmosphere. Very friendly staff and management we visited on a Saturday 18th Nov, and it was lovely to see the place so busy with staff working as a team and providing excellent service. Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough, the food was cooked to perfection with excellent attention to detail on serving. It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the ambiance. Will definitely make this my preferred place to take my friends when looking for fine dining. They also provided a good selection of gluten free and dairy free options for my guests

A really nice bar and restaurant, lovely ambiance with helpful friendly staff, wait times for food was very good and the level of service excellent. Can get very busy, especially for the restaurant, so booking would be advisable. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service, food very good. Overall, nice evening meal. My wife and I were staying at the nearby Bisham Abbey sports centre hotel. The walk from the hotel to the pub at night is not lit by street lighting. The council needs to do something about this, someone will be killed. Arriving at the pub, looking through the window we saw a nice welcoming open fire. Entered the pub to be told where the fire was, this area is restaurant only and if we want a pub meal we have to sit in the bar area of the pub, which to me, there was not much difference. The whole place needs to be opened up as one venue, one menu, one price list. Otherwise, compliments to the chef and all of the staff. Saludos a todos/as de una Colombiana de familia Gallega.

Staff v professional and knowledgeable. Table service excellent. Food well prepared. A good venue for a special celebration. Do NOT go there If you seek cheap!🙂

I dine here occasionally when visiting my sister.The 3 course set menu lunch is always excellent and good value. The wine list offers a good choice at all levels and not surprisingly there are some superb Spanish wines. Last but not least the staff are superb, friendly, helpful and efficient. One of my favourite restaurants.

Nice food , but felt a little uncomfortable with silver service in a quiet pub setting. We attended in the evening. Further investigation leads me to believe that lunch times are very busy.

Interesting experience - leftover food at the door to welcome us in. We sat down to be asked what we wanted to order, pretty much straight away as the kitchen was closing in 5 mins. The food arrived to a pretty low standard, the fillet rossini resembled dog food, the sauce had a skin over the top, where I imagine it had been sat for a while. The bill came to £290 for 6 people. Lovely, friendly staff but the food let them down massively.

Had a dinner for 6 to celebrate my wifes birthday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and very attentive, the food was excellent, as always. I come here fairly regularly and can never resist the lemon meringue on the dessert trolley! Thank you very much

Lovely internal wooden touch & flowers surrounding the exterior. Waiters were all warm & polite. Menu of the day (18.75gbp) u can choose two out from starters, main course and desserts. All of us chose desserts that came with a trolley, each piece was amazingly good

Best Restaurant within Miles for food and brilliant service.

Great place. Towards the top end but not excessively so. Food sub pinnacle. Price sub pinnacle. (I went somewhere truly Eye Wateringbury expensive a week later and yes the food was marginally better) So in summary price and dining well matched. A special mention for the service though. That actually is always unstintingly exceptional at the bull.

A long-established restaurant. Not your usual gastro style. This is a step back in time, but with that comes a sense of confidence and tradition you don't get in modern eateries. A firm local favourite with the older generations we have been several times now and always enjoy it.

Amazing! Came here recently for a family lunch to celebrate 80th birthdays. Superb Service with a sense of humour and smile, delicious food. All round fabulous place. I’d highly recommend!

This really is a charming restaurant which in many ways brings back memories of how ‘service’ used to be. Very friendly and professional staff, serving dishes which were perfectly cooked, and to some extent reminiscent of menus of a couple of decades ago. Even the vegetables were served from a platter by the attentive staff. There is an excellent lunch and dinner menu for extra value, but ample a la carte choices to suit all. I’m only sorry I didn’t discover it before.

Just home after having lunch with wife and granddaughter. Lovely old pub/restaurant, food was excellent, calves liver ,veal and spaghetti bolonaise. Will definitely be here again!

Just look at the menu- it’s vast with both modern dishes and those of yesteryear. Simply great.

Always know a good experience will be had, have never had a bad time. We always know that if we want to celebrate a special day (my birthday today) it is the place to go. Excellent for a casual meal as well.

I have known the Bull at Bisham for many years. The best thing you could do is try a lunch or dinner. The staff are as lovely as is the food and they still have the sweet trolley that they bring to your table. Would suggest booking and currently not open on Mondays

Wonderful Saturday lunch experience. The food was delicious, the service warm and attentive. The only negative was the sneaky archaic individual cover charge which we didn’t notice until we looked at the receipt later. Really? What restaurant still does that? Rethink that!

Sat in the beer garden/car park for a pint of larger strangely accessed from the front of the pub. Beer well kept.

Good food, lovely staff and service

Really lovely family run restaurant. Staff are always happy to help and very gracious. Food is amazing and so much choice, something for everyone, particularly if you like steak. Portions are definitely not stingy. Very popular, definitely worth booking. They also do lunches which are very good value. Car parking out back, but can get busy.

I eat often here and it is a gem of a place. Classical menus which bring back memories. Crepe suzette and all the greats and an amazing steak Diane. The man who flambes this is a master. Consistent and staff that stay forever. All the familiar and traditional.

Mother’s Day lunch meal for the family . We hadn’t been before but the menu was pretty much the same as a usual Sunday , but around £15 per head more expensive ? Decor is dated , and I did think the legs on my chair would give way if they kept wobbling … ! Service was good , but the food was pretty average . Pate and the a Roast sirloin were as the one to go for . Unfortunately I chose I get prawns and was greeted with two prawns … 2 … for about £20 … not great . Deserts were greats and the lemon meringue pie was off the chart .. but given the price and the portion size for the prawns and the lemon sole , it’s a three .

Birthday Sunday lunch. It's difficult to fault this quaint relic of a bygone age. Service is classically professional and friendly. The atmosphere is old fashioned country pub (in a good way). Sunday lunchtime was rammed with good natured celebrations and happy, chatty punters. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with some of the food. My wife's lamb was a little tough and my kidneys were slightly overcooked. Other than that everything else was perfect. It was very busy so we allow for small imperfections. Perhaps an indication of a family run establishment is that the owner recognised my wife as a customer in another restaurant they owned over 30 years ago. Although a good distance from where we now live, the drive was worth it.

Excellent service and food. Only downside was that car park was almost full but we did manage to get the last space. The restaurant had two major events that day, on previous visits there has been no difficulty in parking. Note cost below. Also menu much more extensive than options given below.

As we were visiting the area and staying locally we visited the Bull for some food and drinks. On arrival we were greeted pleasantly and we ordered drinks while looking at the menu. The beer was disgusting, it was cloudy and tasted sour needless to say we never stayed for food. Wouldn't go back if in the area again, much better value and better food in Marlow.

This is s first class place for good food,good service and a lovely atmosphere. We are regulars and enjoy the style of this place

Sunday lunch with the family - just the greatest Roast diner. Service was brilliant , the team know how to look after you without smothering. The food was perfect - cooked just right , the portion size spot on. The dessert trolly is a dream, impossible to resist - a superb Sunday restaurant

Lovely little spot that I had the pleasure of visiting with a large group of colleagues. Service was lovely, the staff went above and beyond. Food was tasty but a little dated and lacked seasoning. Atmosphere was great with an old timey vibe with low ceilings, cozy bar and booths, and antiquities scattered throughout.
