Bakedd in Windsor and Maidenhead

Visited here daily while staying nearby for work food very nice but a bit pricey to go to daily if I lived in the area. Perfect for a treat or if you’re caught short for lunch. I would recommend 💪🏼

Great coffee and the best freshly baked treats - the custard and nutella croissants are incredible, amazing chocolate cookies, carrot cake outstanding and the little strawberry tarts. Maidenhead is lucky to have Bakedd, the owners work tirelessly day in, day out to offer the most incredible quality of product and the place is always packed!

Pleasure place to go and relax during your spare time, it would be great though if they can improve the ventilation a bit, nevertheless it’s a place to be!

It's a busy place attracting a certain type of people which is fine, though the food is more London priced. Quality of food, sevice and atmosphere is a major plus. Would be nice if they were open on Sundays..

Nice decor, delicious pastries, but completely horrible service. I used to visit almost every day and always thought the staff was not very attentive or nice, but it didn't bother me too much, however I did expect that customer feedback would be appreciated if offered so I first wrote a Google review suggesting Bakked offered organic milk and other produce possibly, to which no one responded at all. Having received no response, I proceeded to ask the staff onsite what was the best way to suggest improvements - the staff member looked at me in disbelief first and when I repeated my question twice more, she responded "I don't know". I asked if there was someone who did know and after a few minutes another colleague approached (mind you there were no customers waiting), he barely looked at me as I asked the same question again: is there any way I can provide suggestions to the management, and he responded that I should write a Google review... Thoroughly disappointed and I need to highlight this is not only my experience. A friend of mine asked which non-dairy food they had and the staff also looked at her as if she was speaking in a foreign language first and then was not able to suggest anything. I'm not surprised by such poor customer service when on rare occasions I visit Costa or Nero etc, but you kind of expect a different level of customer service in a place like Bakedd. Truly disappointing as the pastries are delicious, but a place where neither the staff nor the management can be bothered to engage with their customers, and are either completely ignorant about or simply don't care about animal welfare, is not a place I will keep on going to.

Maybe it's just been a while since I'd been to a real coffee shop, but the atmosphere was amazing here. Food and coffee was wonderful and it was lovely to be able to sit and work for a couple of hours while sipping at my coffee.

Great selection of hot drinks, cakes and savoury snacks. The bruschetta, quiche and different rolls and all really nice. Pretty spoilt for choice with cake. Isn’t cheap but the cleanliness, ambience and food quality reflect the premium. Even better when sitting outdoors in the summer.

I’ve been going to Bakedd for years since they started. Hands down the best coffee/bakery place in Maidenhead and probably in the entire country. The staff are very friendly and their coffee and pastries are great, everything is made on site so you really know they care about quality control. Highly recommend you drop in and try the place for yourself if you haven’t already.

Pretty much live here. Food is amazing, coffee is amazing, staff are amazing. My child loves it here and I can take my dog, what more could you want from your local coffee shop

Went to bakedd today coffee was amazing the sandwiches are full of filling and delicious I had quiche and salad which was delightful the staff couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcome and satisfied

Baked rocks! Great coffee, wonderful pastries and bread and rolls and just about everything else that I've tried was great too. Lovely helpful staff. It's incredibly popular so you might occasionally have to wait a bit for a seat but it's worth it.

Delicious cafe by the river and a great spot for brunch / lunch. Chicken is halal with excellent selection available. Highly reccomended!

Absolutely loved my coffee yesterday and my Tahini roll . Better coffee than Starbucks and if I lived in Maidenhead i would get my coffee there everyday.

We visited 14th October 2023. We bought a feta borek and a mushroom bite bread. The bread tasted like it was 2 days old. We would have expected that items at this price were fresh. Baked! but not baked 3 days ago! Baked is not for us! We prefer fresh! We won't be paying £8.50 for two stale items again! As you can see the owner is defensive in most replies to criticism. Maybe the owner should take responsibility of the issues like an adult instead of having a childish mentality. Maybe you should offer a refund or a replacement?

The best bakery and coffee shop in town, everything being freshly cooked or brewed and delicious. Pastries, breads, cafe style bites for lunch. You can even try Turkish coffee and Turkish tea here in addition to anything you would expect from an artisan bakery. Certainly so around the High Street.

5£ for stale bread seems a lot overpriced. Tried once, will never go there again. I know that the owner wants to argue every review they receive, not the customer service you would expect! Strongly suggest ‘no go’!

The best cafe in Maidenhead. I have been coming here for 4 years now. At least 4 days a week. It's a nice place to unwind before work overlooking York stream. Sitting in the conservatory. Watching the ducks and Swans swim past and the occasional King Fisher the coffee, cakes and pastries are excellent the best has to be the quiche and salad.

Food is very nice lots of staff but overpriced unfortunately. Always nice to visit

So cute!! Good coffee great pastries and a selection of food. A lovely atmosphere if you want to change the scenery for WFH or you're a student. Took the kids for brunch after a quick shop and we all loved it! Can't wait to come again with friends

A great bakery/coffee shop in Maidenhead central, always worth trying the previously unknown pastries and will rarely disappoint. The only negative is that they're closed in Sundays but you got to let them rest too. :)

It’s a lovely cafe by the waterside. The ambience is nice. The coronation chicken burger was yummy and the carrot cake was delicious. A nice getaway for a weekend.

Baked Artisan in Maidenhead is one of the best cafe/bakery when you come to the town. I always come every week here is kinda happy to unwind Xx. Very delicious pastries, cakes, sandwiches and etc. Perfect location right next to the bridge and view through the canal. Staffs are friendly. Overall this cafe is Superb will recommend. Sometimes you get lucky to meet some famous British Olympic Athletes here.

Good tea, lovely teapot! Brioche with chicken and bacon was delicious! Slight downside (hence 4 stars) was that service was a bit slow.

Lovely and friendly staff, made a babyccino for my baby. Clean tables with plenty of outdoor seating too. I asked for a light iced mocha and the guy making it let me taste it to make sure I was happy with it. I enjoyed my date with my baby here, will definitely visit again!

We love this family run cafe. Lovely choice of bakes and sandwiches. Excellent sourdough to buy. Good coffee and they always seem to find lovely staff. It does get busy, not surprising as so welcoming. I agree with other reviews that it isn’t cheap however, for the quality and freshness of the foods it doesn’t surprise me. Many regular customers.

I love this cafe and the vibe. So quaint by the river, soft music in the background and perfect for reading. They have a varied selection of pastries and cakes, hot drinks! I was spoilt for choice. I decided on earl grey tea and Nutella croissant. Absolutely heavenly. I will come back to try all other goodies.

Coffee and a croissant. Coffee was ok, unfortunately for me, their was no saucer with the mug. I would have expected a bit more from them. On the good side, the croissant was excellent.

Busy place. Great selection of baked goods and freshly made cold food. Nice coffee and prompt service. As it was busy our table was constantly being passed by customers not able to use the corridor by the counter which was a little irritating when you're sitting in the middle so won't sit there again.

Absolutely delicious especially the food. Drinks a little more expensive than average but food and ambience make it lovely.

Wonderful coffee shop, but NOT open Sundays?! Some people work Saturdays so the only real option to visit on Sunday. Opening on Sunday at least ~ 8am-1pm would be surely much appreciated by many. Hopefully the management can review this as sadly this is the only coffee place in Maidenhead one can go to... Regarding the higher prices - I personally don't mind paying for quality, but I would expect organic milk in a coffee place that positions itself as sustainable & natural (or maybe not?). I'm sure most people would not mind paying a bit extra (as the people who go to the place are already making a decision to pay more anyway) or at least give the option of organic milk...

Great coffee and delicious cakes

Nice atmosphere, plenty of choice both for sweet and savoury treats. Prices relatively high- almost 7 pounds for the sandwich on its own, 3 pounds for a cookie. The pesto sandwich was really nice, and so was the bagel. My personal favourite was the baileys mousse dessert which was absolutely out of this world. Would recommend.

Went today in the afternoon walked in and There where 2 ladies in the front of the counter as I waited before i was aknoledge and I had to ask if it was still open one of them talking with someone but not in English and the other ladies wasn't interested either in serve but she served me plus I asked if the case I wanted was fresh she told me yes etc but the attitude wasn't good I'm my opinion not a great service..plus expensive £8.40 if I felt welcomed I would consider coming but I won't waste my money in there! Hopefully with more training in custoner service it would improve

Popped in for a coffee and pastry. Excellent cappuccino (smooth and well balanced) while the almond croissant I chose was really good.

Sandwiches and food was delicious can't fault it. Good coffee and atmosphere also so can understand why it's always busy with a lovely location on the canal bank. Super spot on a sunny day/morning. The staff are a standout for me with speedy and friendly service. It's certainly on the slightly pricer side for food and drinks abit above what I'd expect to pay however can't fault anything about just to note it higher end prices.

This is only one place in Maidenhead where you can sit and drink , eat fresh cake or cookie. I very like it this place.😋😊👍

Very very nice food, drinks where ok but nothing special and was very expensive, I feed my whole family at a service station burger King for the same price as just a sandwich and a drink here to give a sense of scale.
