A special place in the heart of Maidenhead, but just away from the hustle and bustle, you’re given a warm welcome and an array of lovely stuff to eat greets you. Coffee is one of the best locally, and it’s easy to park nearby. I’ve been coming here for years and love its chilled vibe. Well done Bakedd

Dogs are welcome here they can sit on sofas, upset children and non doggy customers. Management does not care that dogs take up seating.

Stopped in whilst on a walk for a much-needed pit stop, and was greeted with a warm and welcoming environment! Very tasty coffee and pastries served with a smile, dog-friendly, and an amazing selection of food to grab on the go. We will definitely be back!

Took my 4 year old disabled child to Bakedd. Staff were rude and discriminatory towards him, asking us to leave because he was a little noisy. Complained and they stand by their decision. Appalling.

Bakedd is an absolute gem of a café. With great staff, and a sensational selection of sweet and savoury treats, it's the perfect spot. The coffee is superb, as is the turmeric latte, with other hot drinks also available. At peak hours, it can get quite busy, but it's worth the wait. A must-visit for locals or anyone stopping by in the area.

Amazing sourdough bread, croissants & cheese scones & other treats. Simit cheese & ham is my new favourite. Freshly baked each day & wonderful flat whites & iced lattes too. Enjoy Maidenhead & support local family run business.

I have visited Bakedd regularly for a while now and it has quickly become my favourite cafe. It is a lovely family owned business, with delicious pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. The coffee is also by far the best around. What makes Bakedd really special though is the customer service. The staff go above and beyond and are always warm, smiley and welcoming. I’d like to pass on a special commendation to the young petite brunette girl who is always very chatty, smiley and friendly. My elderly father often comes and he has mentioned how this girl always takes time out of her day to talk to him and hear how he is doing. This means so much to us as he isn’t able to get out much anymore, but it makes him excited to get out to Bakedd. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Anna

Bakedd was my local coffee shop and bakery for the last 2 years! In the time I lived locally I spent over £200 there which must mean they are pretty good for me to return so many times! They serve excellent coffee and fantastic pastries, cakes and rolls. When I find myself back in the Maidenhead area visiting, I will for sure make an effort to pop by for a croissant and coffee!

It’s a pity as the rest of the staff are lovely and I prefer supporting local businesses but if this is the way management which to treat paying customers then I guess I will have to spend my holidays and weekends at some of the other places in Maidenhead who’s managers treat customers with respect.

Very well made Simits. Went back for more a few days later.

Day out in Maidendhead , and stop here for coffee and get some thing to eat , what a great place , and the staff was great , ordered coffee and Bruschetta Mozzarell , went to find a table outside , then the food , fantastic food , great view of the river , great place would come back here again :)

Staffs are friendly and welcoming, deserve 5 star. Ordered chicken & bacon burger (£7.50) the bun is nice texture and the sauce is delicious. The mousse cake (£5.25) is tasty with coconut base, intense chocolate flavor and not too sweet, recommended for those who love chocolate.

The best bakery/coffee shop I’ve ever been to and I mean that on a global scale! I can’t recommend it highly enough. Nice atmosphere, wide selection of cakes and brilliant coffee.

Very lovely place, good food, nice staff. Outside seating area is right by the water! Carrot cakes are moist and succulent!!

A very popular place with a queue out the door for much of Saturday morning with tables and seating scarce for those staying to enjoy their goodies. A wide variety, well displayed and clearly labelled. The delicious cinnamon bun topped with custard was a hit but the chocolate brownie recommended by a woman in the queue was too soft and not crunchy on the outside. The croissants were too flat. Nice location and the staff were friendly, fast at clearing up and efficient.

Very attractive displays of food but I found my ham and cheese panini underwhelming and way overpriced; it was two slices of thin white bread with a thin slice of cheap cheese and ham in the middle. The flat white I asked for had a slight taste of sugar - ugh. The almond croissant was fine. So much promise yet so little delivered - I’ll go elsewhere in future.

Chose bakedd to cater our event - the menu was perfect for the selection we wanted. Very responsive and all the guests thought the food was delicious.

It's a busy place attracting a certain type of people which is fine, though the food is more London priced. Quality of food, sevice and atmosphere is a major plus. Would be nice if they were open on Sundays..

This a great cafe: excellent food, drink, service, cleanliness. But what is the policy regarding dogs? Personally, I don't think they belong in eateries, but... ...yesterday I watched as a customer lifted his dog onto his leather seat and tucked it behind him. I then watched as, before he left, he ran his finger round the inside of his coffee mug and allowed his dog to lick his finger - several times. Is this hygienic? Is it legal? Is it desirable? I found it VERY off-putting.

A nice location for coffee with friends, nice food although not exactly cheap. Coffee is high quality and a range of other drinks available too, something for everyone. The owner could emulate his staff (who are always very welcoming) and smile a bit more !

Been visiting this place for over four years now and must say the staff is always cheerful, happy to help with any dietary requirements. The food is extremely delicious. Can’t compare to any other bakery I’ve been to and the fact that they make Turkish coffee is just perfect!! (+dog friendly)

Been so many times because it is brilliant. An amazing selection of savoury and sweet snacks and great drinks. Service is always smiley from familiar faces. Lovely fresh bread to take home. My favourite cafe by far.

Visited here daily while staying nearby for work food very nice but a bit pricey to go to daily if I lived in the area. Perfect for a treat or if you’re caught short for lunch. I would recommend 💪🏼

Great coffee and the best freshly baked treats - the custard and nutella croissants are incredible, amazing chocolate cookies, carrot cake outstanding and the little strawberry tarts. Maidenhead is lucky to have Bakedd, the owners work tirelessly day in, day out to offer the most incredible quality of product and the place is always packed!

Pleasure place to go and relax during your spare time, it would be great though if they can improve the ventilation a bit, nevertheless it’s a place to be!

Looks very nice. Coffee is nice. Was asked if I wanted my Pastel De Nata warm. I said “will it make it soggy?”. “No - it will just be warm” said the man who looked at me as if I was nuts. I am now chewing my way through a warm and soggy Pastel De Nata

Tasty barista coffee and friendly efficient service

My partner and I went to have a cup of coffee and a bite to eat today. The service we received by a young brunette girl with a colored strip in her was lovely. The coffee was amazing and the blonde girl was very friendly and made a fuss over my toddler who was in a bit of a mood but was happy after this encounter.However the only issue I had was the girl with long brown hair that was not tied up this is not very hygienic when working with food she brought us our food she was not very friendly.

Nice decor, delicious pastries, but completely horrible service. I used to visit almost every day and always thought the staff was not very attentive or nice, but it didn't bother me too much, however I did expect that customer feedback would be appreciated if offered so I first wrote a Google review suggesting Bakked offered organic milk and other produce possibly, to which no one responded at all. Having received no response, I proceeded to ask the staff onsite what was the best way to suggest improvements - the staff member looked at me in disbelief first and when I repeated my question twice more, she responded "I don't know". I asked if there was someone who did know and after a few minutes another colleague approached (mind you there were no customers waiting), he barely looked at me as I asked the same question again: is there any way I can provide suggestions to the management, and he responded that I should write a Google review... Thoroughly disappointed and I need to highlight this is not only my experience. A friend of mine asked which non-dairy food they had and the staff also looked at her as if she was speaking in a foreign language first and then was not able to suggest anything. I'm not surprised by such poor customer service when on rare occasions I visit Costa or Nero etc, but you kind of expect a different level of customer service in a place like Bakedd. Truly disappointing as the pastries are delicious, but a place where neither the staff nor the management can be bothered to engage with their customers, and are either completely ignorant about or simply don't care about animal welfare, is not a place I will keep on going to.

Firstly, I do like this place. It’s a good location and the food is great, I love the fact that it’s mostly handmade and the service is always friendly. The cakes and pastries are always very nice and I’ve never had a bad sandwich from here. My only feedback would be about the coffee, it’s under-par, I think it’s the beans they use, every time I’ve been the coffee has been a bit watery and lacking in flavour - if this place changed their coffee beans it would be the best place in Maidenhead for lunch/snacks/breakfast !

Maybe it's just been a while since I'd been to a real coffee shop, but the atmosphere was amazing here. Food and coffee was wonderful and it was lovely to be able to sit and work for a couple of hours while sipping at my coffee.

Great selection of hot drinks, cakes and savoury snacks. The bruschetta, quiche and different rolls and all really nice. Pretty spoilt for choice with cake. Isn’t cheap but the cleanliness, ambience and food quality reflect the premium. Even better when sitting outdoors in the summer.

I visit Bakedd every day and I'm not the only one. I only joined Tripadvisor after curiosity led me to the check the revues and was amazed they got any bad reviews. Being almost a permanent fixture and the atmosphere being so conducive to conversation with total strangers, I have never yet spoken to anybody who had anything but high praise for Bakedd, but I have witnessed a relatively small number, amongst hundreds, of 'customers' who have been rude, threatening or simply having an off day and maybe they have felt obliged to criticise. Like the majority of people, I take great service and products for granted and it's only after reading the unfair comments that I have been compelled to respond. I have visited cafes throughout Britain as good as Bakedd but none better.

I’ve been going to Bakedd for years since they started. Hands down the best coffee/bakery place in Maidenhead and probably in the entire country. The staff are very friendly and their coffee and pastries are great, everything is made on site so you really know they care about quality control. Highly recommend you drop in and try the place for yourself if you haven’t already.

Went to bakedd today coffee was amazing the sandwiches are full of filling and delicious I had quiche and salad which was delightful the staff couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcome and satisfied

Love love love this place in the town. Food excellent. Staff friendly and efficient . Trouble is, like all good cafes, it's a victim of its own success and there are people who take advantage of its WiFi and warmth, who buy one coffee and spend hours doing their work in it, saving themselves their own heating and WiFi, whilst there are others, like me, who go in for a coffee and a bite to eat,but sometimes can't get a table because of the table-hoggers. People (potential spenders) walking away due to nowhere to sit, whilst those selfish,inconsiderate "workers" stay put with no further expenditure...today, there were two business men seemingly doing their interviews and office work with their laptops, notebooks! Show some respect and consideration to those poor owners, losing money through your cheap "office accommodation ". Perhaps the owners should consider putting a sign up, politely asking thst during really busy times, tome will be limited..... Or better still...don't offer WiFi

Baked rocks! Great coffee, wonderful pastries and bread and rolls and just about everything else that I've tried was great too. Lovely helpful staff. It's incredibly popular so you might occasionally have to wait a bit for a seat but it's worth it.

Delicious cafe by the river and a great spot for brunch / lunch. Chicken is halal with excellent selection available. Highly reccomended!

On a day trip from London to walk by the river, passed Bakedd and went in to have a look. Well lucky you, Maidenhead - the quality of food, tea, lovely service, (clean and well-kept loo!) and seating is so much better than plenty of London bakeries/patisseries/cafes. Prices are comparable with London. Yes - expensive, but this is the place I would come back to, rather than dreary and unsatisfying cliched cakes etc in the prets, gails, neros etc. Still thinking about the delicious and fresh mozzarella crunchy focaccia, amazing and fresh custard croissant, not too sweet frangipani cherry tart, plus surprisingly delicious leaf tea I had. Had lunch; walked; couldn’t resist returning for tea. Very gracious and efficient service.

Absolutely loved my coffee yesterday and my Tahini roll . Better coffee than Starbucks and if I lived in Maidenhead i would get my coffee there everyday.

We visited 14th October 2023. We bought a feta borek and a mushroom bite bread. The bread tasted like it was 2 days old. We would have expected that items at this price were fresh. Baked! but not baked 3 days ago! Baked is not for us! We prefer fresh! We won't be paying £8.50 for two stale items again! As you can see the owner is defensive in most replies to criticism. Maybe the owner should take responsibility of the issues like an adult instead of having a childish mentality. Maybe you should offer a refund or a replacement?

5£ for stale bread seems a lot overpriced. Tried once, will never go there again. I know that the owner wants to argue every review they receive, not the customer service you would expect! Strongly suggest ‘no go’!

The best bakery and coffee shop in town, everything being freshly cooked or brewed and delicious. Pastries, breads, cafe style bites for lunch. You can even try Turkish coffee and Turkish tea here in addition to anything you would expect from an artisan bakery. Certainly so around the High Street.
