If you want a proper pub this little hidden gem In Warlingham is a must visit. Good variety of food on the menu, (we have tried a lot of it) staff are super friendly and helpful. Sitting off the main road this pub has a country feel about it, great family atmosphere and for dog owners guess what it’s dog friendly. Go visit trust me you won’t regret it

Exactly what a pub should be, great pub food, great service and a fab location. We stumbled across the pub as we followed our son doing the vanguard marathon along the vanguard way. The staff were brilliant supporting the community with water and oranges and we went back for a snack and dinner as they were so welcoming. Such a friendly team.

1st time at this great place. 👌 Nice friendly staff. Plenty of choice on food and drinks with a very nice beer garden which was dog 🐕 friendly. Definitely going back to try more food. See you again soon.

Our walking group come here weekly and love the friendliness of this pub and the lovely bar staff. The food is always home made and fabulous, really very very good. They do their best if you have a function here, as we did last weekend, to make the day special. I hear some complementary bucks fizz were much appreciated.

Only visited with my dog for a lovely pint of Guinness, Luna had a doggy treat too 🙂 very nice pub indeed, plenty of parking, it was a trip down memory lane as frequented The Bull back in the mid 1980's

At last, a real pub! Not a gastro experience like so many out there. Adequate, hot food in generous portions, staff that made you feel welcome, darts, pool, locals and the curious, like us. A went on a neighbour's recommendation.

What a lovely place to eat 😋, great menu's food excellent, will definitely be going again.

Great pub in a lovely open space. Came here this afternoon with the kids, great selection of drinks and snacks to keep us happy. Michelle was the star behind the bar though, very kindly replacing my drink after my wife tried and failed to add a half to my lager, spilling it all over the floor.

Lovely setting, but let down by sub-par roast. Like a mountain of veg hidden underneath to make it look bigger. Would have been fine had said veg been tasty but didn't hit the spot. Likewise the meat, potatoes and the Yorkshire were more akin to frozen food rather than something made fresh. Not inedible, just weatherspoons esque standard. Service was spot on mind. Edit in reply: To confirm this was for a Xmas Roast from mid December - only just getting round to reviewing a bunch of places we've been to. Sorry we didn't find it to our taste.

Second time at The Bull inn, I have two teenagers and they love food in this place. Very busy on a Monday but a little under staff.

Popped in for a quick lunch on a Monday so was a bit quiet as expected. Nice country pub in lovely surroundings. Nice garden for summer drinks. Staff were lovely and served us well. Food was tasty and surprisingly filling for a light lunch. The pub is dog friendly and has a pool table. Would recommend a visit we will definately be back. 👍🙂

Amazing pub, you don't feel awkward walking in as a non regular. Extremely friendly staff. Also has a wake there a year ago and it was better than we could ever imagine. Dogs and kids welcome too :)

Thank you to Michelle and the team. We joined our friends to watch the Rugby World Cup Final. We were all decked out in our Springbok [South African] supporters gear. It poured with rain outside, but it didn’t dampen our spirits. A wonderful evening down to the last minute, we had burgers and onions rings, they were lovely….

So glad we chose to have my dad's 50th birthday meal here!! The service from Michelle, liz and Simon was amazing for such a large table! They made sure everyone was happy with their food and kept us all topped up with drinks. The friendly staff really created a lovely atmosphere and they even sang happy birthday and brought out a cake for him. Would defenitely reccomend!

We turned up on a sunday early afternoon without a booking and the staff were super helpful to offer us a place to sit. The main restaurant area looked fully booked. Sat towards the back we had starters and main and the food took quite a while to arrive. Overall: Very good tasting pie and good portion for the Sunday roast. However the time it took took the edge off our hunger and a bit of the heat off the roast! We were really happy to head home as there was a bit if a draft where we sat, probably worth booking in advance

We were 5 adults and 4children. We had the roast which was beef, pork and gammon served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips stuffing pigs in blankets Yorkshire pudding and a selection of vegetables. Food was delicious staff were very attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back.

I popped into the Bull Inn back in April at the end of a section of the Vanguard Way walk. Was just nice enough to sit outside. The ploughman's lunch was delicious with good quality ham and a wedge of cheese My friend had a wrap which he enjoyed. Very happy to give five stars as the service was excellent and all the staff there were polite and helpful. Would probably do the next section of the walk in reverse so I can go back!

Amanda at The Bull in Pub is a beacon of friendliness, she is full of energy as she serves up drinks the food and drink with a smile. Her vibrant personality added an extra spark to our Afternoon, Amanda and Michelle made every interaction a delightful experience. Had a great afternoon here at the Bull recently, such a lovely country pub with great friendly staff every time you go. Good Selection of Drinks and a very nice Cider I have not seen on tap at a lot of places called Inches. I have to highly recommend the food, especially the Pizzas, sweet potato fries and burgers are a few of my favourites. The young girl cooking these amazing dishes is Anna. The guy in charge on the day is Simon he can't do enough for you and the customers, he is always running about making sure everything is ok. The place has great outside seating area, clean toilets and a nice local atmosphere. Looking forward to trying one of the Roast dinners on my next visit. Thanks

I took my wife for a Sunday lunch today at the Bull Inn and had a very enjoyable time. The welcome and hospitality from all the stall was first class. The food was excellent and indoor seating areas were plesant with plenty of outdoor seating and dinning area's. Will definitely come back again soon.

I visited for the first time on Monday 13th March. Lovely little pub. Clean good rest room facilities. I sat outside most of the time. Great open space. A sense of freedom and calm. I'd love to visit in the summer.

Fantastic pub that still has all the charm and character of a proper pub rather than a plastic franchise. Extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome and also as a bonus is very dog friendly. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

I cannot recommend the Bull Inn highly enough for any family events you might host. They went above and beyond all of our expectations! The decorations were beautiful and the food was incredible and such an amazing price considering all the work that must have gone into it! Thank you Ann and your staff for a great day!

WE VISIT THE BULL regularly. What a gem, highly recommended. IN a lovely countryside location. They always serve lovely food which is good value for money. The staff are all extremely polite and friendly. The owner, Ann is always very accommmodatingand puts herself out to look after her customers. A special mention for Alfie who is a real 'sweetie' Overall, a great pub in. a nice location. Pop in after a shopping trip to nearby Sainburys, you will receive a warm welcome and be well fed!!

Just an ok pub, nothing really fancy about it, has a extensive outside seating area on the front and side of the pub. Beer selection is limited and found it a bit pricey, almost 10 quid for a pint of lager, a J2O and a lemonade 😕

Spent the afternoon in this lovely authentic pub, the staff were welcoming and friendly open to making warm conversation. There is a sheltered bar area in the garden or open benches to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The food looks amazing. The vibe is great and friendly. The prices are reasonable too. I went with my partner kids and the dog. It's a great family friendly pub. Will be visiting again.

Went here for a surprise birthday/retirement party. Surprise it was. We had a marque in the garden and we were all able to hide in it before being given the signal to jump out. The staff at the event were friendly and accommodating. They provided a buffet lunch. I had some pate and french stick, quiche, ham and salad. No complaints here except for the added protien in the lettuce. I removed 8 greenfly from my salad portion! On the whole very enjoyable.

Myself and my family threw a surprise party for my mum in the garden of The Bull Inn and I can’t recommend the place or the service highly enough! We’ve been there a few times just for a drink or something to eat and always liked the atmosphere in there (it’s a lovely place to stop after a dog walk for a drink or something to eat as they do lovely food. you always get a friendly warm welcome) but after Saturday I like the place even more! Anne and Anna were so helpful from the minute we booked the party- from communicating with us about the way we wanted things right down to the logistics of setting up the surprise and getting everybody in the right place! Anne and all the staff tried so hard to continue to help us throughout the day and into the evening. She and her team even set up the marquee early in the day so that when we got there we didn’t need to lift a finger- everything was set up beautifully for us so all we had to do was enjoy our day. The bar staff were also lovely and so helpful, very attentive throughout the course of the day- even the staff who had been there from the beginning of the day still had enthusiasm and a smile for us when we left late in the evening. If you’re looking for somewhere to hold an event or function I recommend this place 110%! We couldn’t have asked for more from a venue, we felt so welcome and had such a great day. Thank you to Anne and all of the staff at The Bull Inn!

Lovely homely feel. Only one thing that was a tad annoying. The smoke from the fire drove us outside. So didn't stay long as it was freezing!

Service, staff and food was excellent. Went with family and young childeren, They all had a great time.

We walked to this pub which was just over 5 miles for us as it's been on our list of places to walk to. Beautiful surrounding countryside, very nice garden, they're happy with dogs on leads in the garden and pub, toilets were clean and in good order and the staff helpful and pleasant. I've knocked off one star purely because of the cost of the drinks. We ordered 1 pint of Doombar, 1 single measure of Gordon's Pink Gin with a Fevertree tonic, a packet of cheese and onion crisps, and a packet of mini chedders; total cost was £15!!!! Now we appreciate that prices have increased over the years but £15 for 2 drinks and 2 snacks was a bit steep, so we won't be returning in the future which is a shame as it seems like a very decent pub. We were there on a Tuesday afternoon which meant it wasn't busy so I cannot comment on what it would be like during a bank holiday or weekend .
