Awful fish and chips got here and the matey said no fish just sausage, was shocked, accepted the sausage and asked for a battered one and they told me no batter was gobsmacked not a happy fish 🐟, the kabab meat looked like the just killed a seagull and cooked it on the stove, very disappointed do not go here is shocking

Stunning sunny day with views over Chichester Harbour . Fish and chips were gluten free and delicious and the seafood linguine was great. Nice modern feel to the inside , I think it’s been made over and has new management since we last ate here . Limited gluten free puddings but some lovely ice cream was very enjoyable after the filling lunch Dog friendly , cannot wait til the nicer weather to be able to sit out in the large outdoor seating area

Stick to Fish & Chips, worst chicken kabab ever had. Chicken not grilled correctly, no flavour, soggy pitta. Best bit was the cucumber.

Quite possibly the worst fish and chips we have eaten. We threw it away. Fish was grey and batter uncooked. Chips were basically scraps - no taste or texture of potato as all were just overcooked and rock hard.

Best fish and chips in town - Can't believe we have missed this hidden gem! Ordered 2 portions of fish and chips. Freshly cooked whilst we were waiting. Generous portions and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning soon 😍

Absolute beauty of a place, the kids love the chicken nuggets and chips, my favourite is the chicken burger and chips and the man of the house love the large kebab (and it is large) and chips. The chips here are AMAZING! The staff are amazing and friendly. Love the art work also 😊

I cannot understand why there are bad reviews. I live in the village and this is by far the best fish and chip takeaway. Fish cooked to order. No horrible oily taste like some other places. Super friendly happy service. Great value for money. Good size portions.

This place is a disgrace to British Fish and Chips and by far the worst quality food and service I've had in a chippy. The order was taken, repeated to them multiple times including whilst assembling only to get to the beach and it be wrong. Wish at that point I'd got a refund as the quality of food turned out to be considerably worse than the service. Avoid this place and spend your pennies elsewhere..

Avoid ordered large fish and chips to share with partner cost £12 and it was disgusting, it was more a normal size portion but chips were dry hard and black on them, obviously they used poor potatoes, fish was so small and definitely not fresh, something you get from Iceland. Will never go there again, better off doing without.

Terrible service , huge queue ( on a Thursday in half term) mixed up people’s orders , really rude to customers , shouting at each other in the kitchen . Took over an hour to actually get our fish and chips . Fish was ok but batter thick and soggy . Chips a mix of nice and crispy and half raw . We come here about 3 times a year . We will not be coming back .

Fish was inedible …..stopped off for a take away, as it was such a nice day, wanted something to eat on beach. We all agreed the Chips were tasty however the orange small bits of fish (nuggets goujons whatever you call them) were just disgusting…..that’s all 5 peoples opinion. They were immediately thrown…..the mistake we made was not calling back and telling them to their face. Unfortunately we won’t return

Felt Unwelcome Visited Saturday night fell very short of expectations. Booking a table was frustrating from the outset. Their recommended online system initially didn’t work, so I emailed them directly. They responded the next day, stating they had no record of my attempt to book, but offered no help to make a reservation manually. I left a voicemail when I couldn't get through by phone (the recording said they were closed Friday night), and emailed again asking for a table for Saturday. I eventually managed to secure a booking myself online for 6:45 PM, but at no point did the restaurant confirm this by phone or email. On Saturday afternoon, we visited in person to check that our booking existed — it did — but again, no explanation or apology was offered for the lack of communication. I asked if we could come at 7:00 PM instead, but was told firmly that 6:45 PM would be "better." We arrived at the appointed time, were seated promptly, and given menus — and then we waited. After 35 minutes with no attention, I asked the man at the door if someone would take our order. He responded dismissively that someone would "be over." Eventually, a very pleasant server came to take our order, and drinks arrived around 10 minutes later. The food, once it came (an hour after sitting down), was fine — no complaints about the quality. However, nobody checked in to ask if the meal was satisfactory. When I asked the manager, Sean, about the brand of Kombucha, he said it was by Johnny Wilkinson. When I looked puzzled, he seemed surprised that I didn’t know the former rugby player had a wellness brand — a strange and slightly patronizing exchange. Overall, the management and front-of-house attitude was indifferent at best, and at times outright dismissive. They seemed uninterested in whether we had a good experience or if we might return. Sadly, the location — with few other dining options nearby at Chichester Marina — seems to allow them to get away with poor service. We left feeling unwelcome, as if our presence was an inconvenience rather than valued custom. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant, and will not be returning.

This hotel was booked for two nights based on the promise of ample parking, which turned out to be completely unavailable on both days. Upon arrival, was surprised to discover that the ground floor houses a nightclub that operates until 3 a.m., making it impossible to get any rest. The next morning, there was no hot water in the showers—completely cold. Which was a great start for the day. After returning late was greeted with another surprise in the form of room key cards not working. To make matters worse, there was no one at the front desk and neither of the provided emergency contact numbers responded, leaving us with no choice but to find alternative accommodation at our own expense. I’d avoid this place like the plague !!
