The Blue Lagoon Charcoal Grill in Cheshire West and Chester

Ordered a kebab thinking it would be fresh, it was pulled out of a metal cylinder. I asked if they could do me a fresh one but they told me to go somewhere else if I wanted a fresh chicken kebab. Considering I already paid there wasn’t much I could do. I asked why I couldn’t have a fresh one and he gave me a cheeky answer ‘I don’t like it’ which didn’t even make sense. I asked for a garlic sauce on the kebab and it was smothered in ketchup which completely ruined the already non fresh kebab, I took it back and asked them to put garlic sauce on it and they argued with me about it. While this was going on they were cutting the fresh chicken for their own staff food. Disgusting service for any customers. Really unhappy with the attitude and service that was provided here. DO NOT recommend to anyone.

The food quality is very very bad had ordered some kebab it was so terrible couldn't eat mire then a bite. And I was feeling bad for days went and comparing they were so rude place should be closed down.

Compared to what i had eaten in CHIP-D where everything is soo fresh and tasty .. blue lagoon sucks they take the same price of £7.5 , but chips are not fresh those are frozen which are just fried, the burger was not good again it just felt like i ate some frozen food which was fried and very bland especially their garlic mayo dint taste like one at all and they charge even more for dips around £3. Better go to chip-d which is a few steps away from this store , they serve freshly chopped out potatoes and make good chips right in front of you in fresh batches , serve 2 dips in the same meal of £7.5 , garlic mayo is really my favourite their tastes very fresh and heavenly and their burgers are just too good !

My son was asked what he wanted to order and he politely asked to just look at the menu, the guy serving him grabbed him around the neck and assaulted him and had to be restrained by other staff, don't deserve any custom, avoid at all costs

Ordered food and they never had any intentions of delivering it just took my money, I rang them 3 times to chase up the delivery only for them to keep telling me it’s on its way, the 4th time I rang the fella on the phone start getting abusive and swearing on the phone to me.

Spent £30 here and they refused to give half of the order. After politely explaining we hadn’t had it (being understanding that it was busy), the man eventually slammed the pitta and pizza on the side causing for the chips to fall on the floor and proceeded to kick me and my friend out after calling us a “bitch” and to “never come back”. Disgusting service and unsanitary.

Me and my friend were shown deep aggression and overcharged for food. We just wanted chips each which should’ve been £2.50. However he tried to charged us £15 disgraceful Ludacris #AbolishBlueLagoon #GoToChesterShwarma

Avoid. Don't waste your money or time here. Extremely rude customer service, dirty looking where food is being prepped and basically needs a good old clean. Old grubby lettuce, chicken looked like it had had better days. Didn't eat as made myself feel sick at the thought of the grubby environment and bad looking food. I didn't want to even have to give it one star

Worst take away ever had! Fried chicken was rock hard and dripping in grease and burnt (oils needs changing asap) so so bad, chips cold and hard and over cooked, chicken shawarma (though portion size was good) tasteless dry and chewy again just tasted like it had been cooked a while back. I am a fat guy and I have had ALOT of take away this was the worst! Had two bites of fried chicken like 4 chips and three mouthfuls of shawarma and rest went to the bin!

The older man was very rude when asked to explain the order. The younger man was very nice.

My new local kebab shop and my favourite, the staff are always smiling & so nice and serve great food. I Come here everytime on my way home from late night shift.

First time using. Although the chicken kebab was nice, the driver was so rude! When I answered the intercom to my flat, all I was greeted with was "open!" I came out to meet him in the hallway, I said hiya to him and he just grunted. A very strange experience. It's put me off ordering again. I phoned Blue Lagoon to speak about this and was just told "we have known him for years", as if this excuses such bad customer service. I actually had a a fiver ready to tip him aswell. People spend a lot of money on your food the least the driver (who represents your business) can do is at least muster a hello???

Food arrived in good time, the chips were fresh and warm as was the salad, but my donner wrap was really cold unfortunately.

Kebab was really good can’t complain but fried chicken over cooked and greasy. I actually counted chips and a portion is 19 fries. Would have complained but gone 12.30 when got food. Definitely won’t order fried chicken again.

I have ordered via Uber eats as they have 4.7 stars there, I didn’t check google. Positives: fast delivery, food arrived worm, well packed, pizza was tasty Negative: I ordered pizza that was ok, but very cheap ingredients used, especially for meat. You can notice cheapest salami and ham ever. Hot wings not tasty at all, just very spicy. You can find better quality for same price. I’ll not order again because of cheap ingredients used…

Gave me thr wrong food. Then when speaking to them about it, the guy turned around saying "the driver already left, sorry bye" and hung up. Wont be ordering there again.

Food really poor tonight. It’s usually excellent but we’ve been really disappointed this evening. Half of the food inedible and went straight in the bin.

The order was totally botched. I ordered a cheese pizza and some cans of Drinks and what I got was the said pizza and 3 other items that had chicken in them (I am vegetarian). I paid 15 pounds for an order where the only thing I could eat was the pizza. No cold drinks either.

One of the worst experiences of my like. A hostile driver who merely wanted me to find him, hostile and aggressive when I told him where I lived and where to deliver to. Made a complaint to restaurant and was already in process of before delivery, and merely told he knew about the driver and hung up. . Food was awful and cold.

Overcharged because thought was drunk which they admitted fault basically when questioned on it with slamming hand on counter with aggression. Obviously knew he was caught out. Price was clear on board. Watch out guys. How often do they actually do this. Use somewhere else places like this don’t deserve business.

Drivers nevers seems to find any house in Chester. Usually just parks wherever and calls you to go and get it. Then gives you attitude when you can't chase him around. This happened couple times. Won't happen again cause I'm never ordering from there again.

Waited and waited for food to arrive, checked multiple times on the app and the estimated delivery time, after two hours we had to order else where and found the food, by the front door of the house left in the rain when the second order arrived. The delivery status was never changed to our for delivery. A waste of money and time. Unhappy with the service, disappointed to lose an evening waiting with the family

The delivery guy just walked in my house I didn’t hear the knock so he just walked in I walked out of my room and he was just stood in my corridor. It was a complete violation and I would like to formally complain about.

Can't locate the tallest building in Chester that is actually visible from their own shop doorway. Then lied about their driver & implied the fault was mine. 100% RESPONSIBLE for my NEVER ordering through Just Eat again. Didn't get any food & got called a liar by the owner despite my proof. AVOID!

Truly horrendous, because they cancelled my order i can't leave a review on JustEat. But the restaurant accepted the order and then waited an hour before cancelling the order. Truly terrible place, avoid at all costs. This isn't the first issue i've heard of and it definitely won't be the last.

The worst customer service I have ever received... Food nearly 2 hours late... The delivery driver went to the wrong house and apparently that was my fault, the person who answered the phone told me they have my money so they didn't need to give me my food, was laughing at me, mocking me, giving me rude offencive remarks.. Refused to call me by my name and would only call me "love" . My husband had to ring them because they clearly didn't care what I had to say, said they would bring my food in 10mins, 40 mins later I am still sat here waiting... I would avoid this place at all costs... I have 2 hungry children here now and will have to spend another £30 to order more food from somewhere else!!!!!

Came to Chester for a 2 day break. Thought we would try Blue Lagoon as it was right opposite where we stayed. The doner meat was lovely, salad was fresh, and we liked the big pitta breads they used which do a better job of holding it all together. I would certainly recommend.

Ordered food and waited close to two hours before being told it had been delivered. Food never turned up and any time you try to contact the restaurant you are told it’s the wrong number
