Midnight Express in Cheshire West and Chester

Just had 2 men from midnight express banging on my door at 1.30am on a Monday night for 10 minutes straight waking the whole street up. I’m 8.5 months pregnant with work in the morning and they was ringing my doorbell and BANGING on my door for a 7” pizza delivered to the wrong address. For 10 minutes straight. Weird behaviour. Just call the customers mobile or go home. They then tried to argue with me about it being my address. (Whilst clearly seeing I’m heavily pregnant and don’t want and didn’t order the grim 7” pizza) absolutely shocking. Very stressful experience. Need to learn some new delivery etiquette. Didn’t even apologise for banging on the door like lunatics for 10 mins just stood there arguing with a pregnant woman whilst holding a tiny pizza. Absolute Weirdos.

Great can't wait to get another one.

Ordered food from Midnight Express 3 times over the last month after a few poor experiences with other local take away restaurants and have been pleased with the food and service. My orders all came promptly and remained hot when I received them. Food was absolutely fine and have not had any negative issues. The minimum order and delivery fee are both low. I have read a lot of the negative reviews but in my own experience they have been very good overall and I will continue to use them until that changes.

Didn't deliver our food.said they couldn't find us but they gad delivered 2 days earlier

Mi novia y yo estábamos pasando una noche en la que estaba estropeado por una experiencia desagradable. La comida no solo era incomible, fría e inadecuada. el servicio de entrega fue aún peor, tardando más de 2 horas en entregar la comida. Además de esto, el servicio al cliente fue impactante. Tuvimos que llamar al restaurante más de 4 veces preguntando dónde estaba nuestra comida, ¡pero no había ninguna actualización cada vez! Al día siguiente llamamos para ver si era posible un reembolso y descubrimos que el servicio era aún peor. Nos gritaron y llamaron mentirosos por teléfono. Además, nos dijeron que el reembolso no era una opción viable y que solo podíamos volver a recibir la comida (nunca más). En general, fue una experiencia horrible y no recomendaría este chiste de un "restaurante". Es difícil de creer que este lugar todavía esté abierto. ¡Muy enojado!

Soy un tipo local de Chester, que no tiene grandes expectativas, todo lo que pido es una comida comestible y un servicio con una sonrisa. Desafortunadamente, mi experiencia en esta comida para llevar no fue ninguna de estas, todo lo contrario. En primer lugar, cuando entré noté que un olor bastante pútrido me hacía cosquillas en la nariz, decidí contener la respiración y seguir con mi experiencia. En segundo lugar, el servicio que recibí fue el de una mala actitud, ¡me atrevería a decir grosero! Él mismo era un hombre bastante cursi, nuevamente me levanté y esperé con gran anticipación mi comida, pero solo para decepcionarme una vez más. No esperaba un verdadero manjar, solo una simple hamburguesa de pollo, no hace falta decir que tanto la textura como el sabor eran espantosos. Finalmente, cuando se le pidió una explicación sobre la mala calidad de mi hamburguesa, el hombre del queso de dedos peludos respondió con más hostilidad y grosería. No volveré a cenar aquí.

Tuve una experiencia muy mala aquí con el servicio al cliente, fui con mi amigo y él fue muy abusivo con ella y la comida no era buena en absoluto.

We were with a kebab connoisseur who couldn’t walk past without going in for a little something. That little something was a kebab bun. He liked it and it didn’t take long to get in, shovel it in and get out.

Don't even bother. Don't even waste your time. Abusive. Ordered and paid online. Never even received our food. Disgusting. Hopefully these lot get closed down.

Ordered a takeaway, chips were hard like they’ve been reheated, pizza ok, ordered a bottle of coke which didn’t turn up with delivery driver nearly knocked the window through.

worst food ave ever had . chicken kebab and donner which was brown pieces of weird tasting meat. chips and cheese is warm chips and cold grated cheese thru on top. dont order from here

Ordered a snack basically and they couldn’t even manage to deliver it within 2 hours, I rang up and spoke calmly explaining my situation, the person operating the phone was mumbling and said it’s on its way, despite it saying it being on its way for the past 2 hours. I waited up until my third hour and they still did not deliver my food but updated the status of the order to delivered, this is disgraceful would never order from here again first and last time and I’ll be getting my money back!

Placed an order, it come wrong, we rang up to either get it swapped or the money back to be told we have to wait up to an hour, this was 11.20pm. When they then did they sent the rudest driver ever to drop the food off who was really aggressive acting like it was our fault that they couldn't read simple instructions avoid if you like quality food an service

Ordered from UberEats - quick delivery from them but the actual food was awful. Ordered chips, cheese and gravy as well as wings ands cheese bites. It was all cold but the cheese bites were still edible. Instead of wings I got a plain box of chips and the gravy was thicker than jelly with no taste.

Saf here at 3 am on a saturday and i ordered a pizza at 1 am still not arrived

My food was late, cold and in poor condition and when I complained i was told the manager would ring me back about the incident. I received no phone call so when I called back the next day i had the phone put down on me and they wouldn’t answer the line. I don’t usually complain but this is disrespect at its finest.

Honestly I hesitated to put this up but after the service I’ve had over the phone I’m completely embarrassed. After waiting 50mins for a chicken wrap and chips which I also got ice cream thank god! I then received this which I promise I have not touched!!

I had placed an order online which was rejected due to being out of delivery range, decided to order from my house (within the delivery range) instead of my boyfriends as we really wanted a takeaway. This order was again rejected. I rang the restaurant to find out why and the member of staff I spoke to addressed me in the most vile manner it left me in tears. I was shouted at and hung up on. I understand that sometimes you may have hoax orders placed however the male that I spoke to was rude and spoke in such a disgusting way to me - if he had been nice and explained that due to us paying cash it looked suspicious, I would have happily placed the order using my card. Instead, I will be telling all my friends and family to no longer use this takeaway and you will have lost many many loyal customers. Manners cost nothing and from a customer service perspective this is not acceptable at all.

Just had kebabs delivered to a motorhome on a campsite! Driver found it no problem and the food was hot and very tasty. 👍

So it's Saturday night 3am to be precise I decided to order food got myself really excited for it I had spent the previous 30 minutes reading every item on the menu and then double checking it I finally decided on my meal my mouth was watering I could feel my lips slapping together in delight so I placed my order on just eat I sat there anxiously waiting for the order to be accepted a few minutes later I got the golden ticket and my order was confirmed at this point I was in a state of euthoriay excitement was 11/10 at this point all I had to do now was anxiously wait for my food to arrive so I made a coffee, sat down and resumed watching my film 5 minutes pass and all is well then I get a call from a number not known to myself so I pick it up with the worst news ever its the takeaway staff they've only gone and cancelled my order because 5miles is too far to travel on a Saturday night all my hopes, dreams and desires shattered in that one sentence 😔😔 maybe therapy will cure my deep dark depression from this experience who is to know all I know is its down to this takeaway kind regards a ver disappointed customer 💔💔

The food was horrible. I've orded a few times and it's been good from here but never again. The large kebab was tiny and pita bread wasn't toasted properly . All round just not great. . The delivery guy was friendly apart from that just disappointing. I have used these guys a lot over the years but never again

I've been sampling this place for the last few weeks at the weekend, we've had the pizzas, chicken burgers, onion rings, chips, chicken nuggets and all have been lovely. We've also tried the chocolate fudge cake, but it was very dry so won't be ordering that again, and also the apple pie..that is similar to the McDonald's one in a greasy weird pastry type casing...we won't be ordering that again either. So to sum up... the actual food is really good, the desserts are a big no though

TRIED HERE FOR THE FIRST TIME WHILST VISITING A FRIEND IN CHESTER. I ORDERED A HOTSHOT PIZZA WITH ADDED JALEPENOS AND CHICKEN AND DONNER MEAT. THE PIZZA WAS PERFECT WITH GENEROUS TOPPINGS. WE ALSO ORDERED THE CHICKEN STRIPS WHICH WERE LOVELY AND MOIST. ONLY DOWNFALL AND RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO OFFER A SELECTION OF DIPPING SAUCES FOR WITH THE CHICKEN STRIPS. WILL BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN ON MY NEXT VISIT FOR MORE OF THE SAME TASTY FOOD.

Second time using this takeaway, the food was lovely, nice and hot/warm delivery was just on 9pm rather than 9.20pm no delays whatsoever, excellent delivery service 6 star all the way

Order was wrong! Place was closed by the time we got the delivery, so I couldn't phone, phoned as soon as they opened the next day, to be spoken to like rubbish! The man was so rude on the phone, told me there's nothing he can do!! The place needs more training on customer service! Won't be ordering again!

I ordered food from this establishment and after almost 2 hours of waiting, baring in mind this was late anyway, they declared that it had been delivered after I had already been charged from my card. Not impressed and will not be using midnight express again unless an explanation is given and my money is returned.

The customer service was disgusting they told me to get lost and go away, said I was taking the mick, which I wasn't they just couldn't understand what I was saying so they hung up on me. I called back to explain the situation I explain clearer which then he realised I was giving him a post code I don't know what he thought I was saying then I got my order after 20 mins of stress and being hung up on not happy don't ever buy from here terrible customer service and they don't care for you just your money bunch of scumbags

Midnight express was pretty much the only place open it was the middle of a thunderstorm but they still managed to bring me the best pizza I've had In weeks and a half hour early as well. Count on them they're there for you in your hour of need.

I just ordered from here I payed the delivery just for the delivery driver to say he will charge us extra next.NOT that there will be a next time.the large kebab was smaller than a small one.the chicken Donna an chips only had 5 bit of meat on.i all so ordered a chicken burger and chips.and got beef burger.the food was horrible and the driver had no manners what so ever.
