What a fabulous venue; staff were so much fun; warm, friendly and vibrant. Molly and Calvin were so accommodating in assisting with drink selections and just a really lively exciting venue.

Our host Camilla was amazing, so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend going!!

Waited over an hour for food and had to leave before it came. In their defence they did give us free drinks and a refund.

Picked out to try whilst visiting Chester. Friendly helpful Staff. Great choice of drinks and cocktails to suit everyone. Food was really good and tasty, we had the chicken and steak fajitas. Well worth a visit.

Spent the majority of our night out here. Music was great (though the mixing was a little choppy) and the staff were fast and nice on the bar. Only gripe is there was a staff member with warm brunette hair who was mostly off bar, saw her in the toilets smiled and she gave me a dirty look, she was going back and fourth when we were dancing near the bar and she actually got me on the back with some sort of box she was carrying.. like full on rammed into me rather than saying excuse me or smiling like she did my friends. Really bizarre. Actually have had a sore back since Saturday because of it? 😬

Had several Tapas dishes , all gorgeous and perfectly cooked , cocktails 2 for 1 , Lovley and service excellent, highly recommend

There are about 5 steps down into the venue. We had a sharing board, the waiter suggested 5 dishes which was just right for two of just. Everything was delicious, especially the sweet corn hummus! They had a good selection of mocktails and lots of cocktails. The music wasn't blasting out, which I appreciate, it was very chilled out. Staff friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit here and it's reasonably priced too.

Booked a table here 4th of may with a few of the girls from work 7 of us all together we thought we would go here because of the happy hour 2-4-1 5pm- 8pm, we ordered drinks got the offer on them but when we went to order again we were told they had stopped the happy hour because of the bank holiday weekend??? Does not state that on the menu at all!! We were all abit miffed to be honest won’t be returning

The steak fajitas were cooked to perfection and all the bits that went with it excellent. If I was going to be super picky, one or two more wraps would be ideal as there's only three, and no way you could get all that stunning steak etc in three. The staff were genuinely friendly.

Really nice place just the door guy let it down went to give my ID and he just stared at me for 5 mins said nothing and then went ‘have I said you couldn’t come in’ just no need other than that lovely place

Food was okay, very slow service.

A great wee find. I like the fajitas and the 2 for one offer for the Corona bear if you're early enough 😉 music is good and as the placefilles up it has a reasonable atmosphere. My main feedback would be to have 4 tortillas, 3 just does not cover the amount of meat veg and sides you get. BTW that does not mean you should cut the amount of these items. Smaller portions does not equal happy customer's. Next time I'm in Chester I'm sure I'll check it out again.

We came here for New Years Eve (sorry for the late review!) and had the best time which was really all thanks to the wonderful staff. Kieran served us the best cocktails, very talented, and was super funny. Calum in the bar made our night and was so fun and Holly who served us food was friendly and attentive despite how busy the place was.The staff are a credit to the bar and I hope the company knows so!! They worked so hard all night and made it a wonderful night for their guests despite it being their New Years too. Thank you from the two girls sat opposite the bar on NYE! We love you guys!

Super friendly staff, great food and 2-4-1 deals in the week, means you can order twice as much!

Great food and cocktails, live and cheerful atmosphere, but service wasn't on the expected level. There was a big party next to our table, around 15-20 people, and the server completely ignored us and concentrated on that group only. After 20min wait, and no one coming around to take order, had to go to the bar and order our drinks and food.

Food was amazing and so was the drinks and service. This is a must place to visit.

Visited with my friend on a rainy Monday evening and really enjoyed it! The food was lovely and the staff really helped us choosing from the menu, and the deal on a tapas board and cocktails meant it was all a bargain! Lovely place, would definitely visit again!

It wasn't very busy with it being January, as you would expect, but the drinks were on a 2-4-1 offer, so we made the most of it. The wife really enjoyed her cocktails.

Regret booking here it looked so nice inside, and the menu looked great. The food I had wasn't good I was so disappointed i had the chimichanga the meat was awful and the stuff it was wrapped it was thick and soggy, and its not cheap meal. We try not to eat out too much as its now so expensive, so this place was such a disappointment. The staff were ok they were rushed and not many servers so I understand that.

Straight away from walking in the door the staff were welcoming. Great vibe to the place and the food and cocktails were top notch. Well worth the visit and well worth the money. Reasonably priced too.

Had a lovely meal at Havana and took advantage of an offer on food. The service was good and the meal had a nice flavour to it. We will return when next in Chester and would recommend to others

We came on New Years Eve for bottomless brunch. Cal was very friendly and informative on the food selection. He kept the drinks flowing, always with a smile and kept the party going! PS We love you Cal

We visit Chester once a year and this is our go to restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic.

Decent enough, happy hour was good value, Not the quickest in terms of service though and don't seem to get the little finishing touches on cocktails which are shown on the menu. Worth a visit though

Friendly service, food cooked to order and wonderful and Margarita's, just what we needed after shopping. Definitely will visit next time in Chester.

Food was abysmal we split in to 2 groups and on table are first then the others waited an hour and a half we ended up walking out not paying the whole thing was a shambles

Rio Grand ‘plank’ is a brilliant sharing platter for two. Great portion sizes and taste - will be back!

The waitress was great, but had to wait 1hr - 15mins for food to arrive, so waitress gave. all 6 of us a free drink and apologised. Cocktail drinks are amazing. Recommend Beef Burger with Chorizo and Cajun Chicken with a soft taco, delicious.

Came here for a drink on a night out in Chester. Was okay but at the time I was there I thought the music was quite poor. Didn't eat here so can't comment but drinks were quick considering it was very busy. I probably would go in here again the building is so nice

The food was great at a good and reasonable price that would fit any pocket and the atmosphere was a good vibe, chilled and friendly. Summer you did a great job......we will be back for sure. Dave

Staff friendly and attentive. Maybe gluten free selection a bit limited BUT very tasty and seems proper gluten free because I wasn't poorly afterwards. And the guacamole deserves a 6th star! Out of this world. Thank you for a great time!

Totally, totally deserves the full five stars! We were warmly welcomed by Liv, and not only is Havana Chester impeccably clean, the food, service and whole atmosphere is just wonderful. We absolutely recommend Havana and very, very much look forward to coming back again. There are good gluten free options that absolutely do not compromise on taste too, so thumbs up again! Well done Liv and the team for making our visit a great one!

Nice place for something a bit different in the way of cocktails. The gents toilets could do with a bin, though. Hand towels were just anywhere. Blimey, who steals a bin? Lol. We'll definitely call in again when we're back in Chester!

The food was disappointing. Fries undercooked. Chicken black & overcooked on the hidden side. Steak for fajitas chewy & not medium as ordered. Slightly overcharged on price offered for 2 x bottles of Corona. A shame.

Was turned away and discriminated against for wearing jogging pants and fendi trainers, on a Tuesday night after bank holiday, for a low class tapas pub. Avoid at all costs

The BEST place for pork ribs in Chester!!!! I have moved far away from Chester but I still dream of the pork ribs at Havana. 🤤 Not just that, they've got amazing croquettes!! Mouth-watering chicken and veggies options as well. They have tapas (small quantities) dishes that let's you try different dishes instead of one big meal for the same price and I love that. And compliments to the bar for making creative drinks 👏🏻👏🏻And not to forget the gorgeous tunnel-like inner structure and great song selection. It was a shame that I only visited the place twice during my time there but I'll come again guys! A must visit with your friends and family!!

AMAZING! Staff really friendly, good choice of food & drinks. The happy hour offer is definitely worth it - the cocktails were beautiful & would definitely recommend their solero cocktail! We also had the tapas which was stunning, all their food was high quality and fresh at really affordable prices.

The drinks are great. Some staff were friendly and some grumpy. Just before I left I was the only customer in the bar.

This is in like a cellar setting. Tapas were lovely. Half price cocktails 🍸 for a good 2 to 3 hours. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere. The toilets were usable but not that good.

Lovelly bar, with friendly staff. We stopped here for an afternoon drink mid shop and was made to feel very welcome :-)
