Good but quite pricey. But it's a bit classier than other pubs so nice if you aren't drinking and just want to relax with a friend.

Hello, I do love this pub good vibes and allways showing the football which is good however the food today was awful. My friend and I both got the roast which has all the meats on them. It’s was probably the worst roast I’ve ever eaten had a pub, the veg was still cold and crunchy. The meats looked like it was 2 weeks old and tasted very odd. The only thing I enjoyed was the Yorkshire pudding. It’s annoying for me to say this because I was rlly looking forward to eating it after spending nearly £20 on the meal, but a good pub like the blind busker should have good roast dinners.

Updated review: Since me previous review I've been coming here a lot more often and I must say the tables are generally spotless these days and the food has got better and better. The lunch deal is brilliant with a delicious bacon and cheese toastie with a heap of chips coupled with a beer being around £9. Bargain! Staff are still super friendly and it's noticeable that they don't have a rapid turnover of staff which always bodes well. Probably my favourite pub in Hove. Original review: Cheap (ish) and cheerful. Since moving to a flat nearby I've started going to the Blind Busker more often. The drinks are less than some places (a pint of Moretti is £6.20) and the staff are super friendly. Likewise, the food isn't too expensive and was better than expected. You do have some rather strange people wandering in but that's just the nature of the area I suppose. My only real criticism is that the tables are always a bit grubby - perhaps they could collect empty glasses and give the tables a wipe down a bit more frequently. But all in all an easy place to spend some time.

Horrific experience, was treated incredibly rudely by the manager who was extremely ablest and kicked me out for no reason other than because I have a serious case of epilepsy so am unable to get a provisional driver’s license, however I did have with me my government issued citizens card which she refused to serve me with and kicked me out for. The bartender was not rude to me and treated me well but was forced to kick me out due to the manager. He did however refuse to listen to me when I was explaining that due to my epilepsy I’m unable to get a provisional license and my citizens card was the only government ID I could get and kept on insisting I could.

Originally booked here for Sunday roast, but it was such a hot day we didn't fancy it!! That said, a table near us did have it and it looked amazing. The menu was extensive offering a really good choice and we weren't disappointed - Veggie burger, sausage and mash and chicken and bacon salad. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was nice, but the cheesecake was more of a creamy dessert and a little disappointing. There is a good choice of drinks. Lots of people were sat outside, both at the front and in the garden at the rear, and the inside had a lovely atmosphere. There were several TVs showing sport. And not forgetting the extremely pleasant and helpful staff who were great. So I would definitely recommend, just don't have the cheesecake!!

The Blind Busker in Hove is a well-loved pub known for its lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent drink deals. Located on Church Road, it is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. The pub offers a wide selection of drinks, with particularly great deals on cocktails and beers, making it an affordable place to enjoy a night out. Patrons often highlight the Harvey’s Bitter and the special offers on cocktails as standout features. The pub’s ambiance is enhanced by live performances and a separate game area, which makes it a versatile venue for various gatherings. Whether you’re there to watch sports, enjoy live music, or simply have a casual drink with friends, the Blind Busker provides a welcoming environment. However, some reviews mention that while the food is decent, it may not be the main attraction compared to the drink deals and overall vibe. Improving certain menu items could elevate the dining experience further. Overall, the Blind Busker’s combination of great drink deals, a friendly atmosphere, and varied entertainment options make it a top choice in Hove for a fun and relaxed evening out.

The Blind Busker in Hove is a top-notch pub, especially for rugby enthusiasts like myself. The Harvey's Bitter served here is a true delight, making the game more bearable after England losing to Scotland 30 - 21 at Murrayfield. We didn't eat, but went for the football on Sunday 11th February. Beer was very good and staff were helpful. However, I am disabled and on leaving the lift broke down and I was stuck inside the lift for around 45 minutes until it was eventually decided to call the fire brigade. Though the staff, and some of the customers were very nice, the suggestion of trying to get some customers to lift me out was scary and dangerous. I feel that the fire brigade could have been called much sooner as I'd suggested this around half an hour before it was actually done. I have previously had a problem with the lift there and unfortunately although I like the pub, I'm unable to return for worry that it could happen again. Just one more point, the lock on the disabled toilet could do with being looked at. It's all very unfortunate, as I do like the pub, but I'm afraid I won't be able to return. I have just seen your reply and need to respond again. In my previous review I was completely honest with what happened, including the length of time that I was stuck in the lift. I was not upset or angry, but just said that it was unfortunate as it meant that I was unable to use the pub again, but was complimentary about the pub and the staff. However your reply has now made me angry as you are being dishonest about the time that I was stuck there, and also passing the buck and blaming me for trying to open the door too early. I waited until the lift had completely stopped before attempting to open the door, it was not my fault that it didn't go all the way to the bottom, and when I asked for help one of the bar people pressed the button and it went up an inch or two before completely stopping. Please get your facts right before blaming me for incidents that I had no control over whatsoever

We (7 people) went there yesterday to celebrate our daughter's birthday after friends' recommendations about the pub. We found a lovely table outside in the garden, but sticky with a dead mouse nearby. The staff welcomed us with ignorance when we asked if there was a big table available. The answer was: I don't know, have a look around. When my husband went to order the starters, no one informed him what food was not available that evening. So nearly everyone wanted to order fish and chips, but had to change their choice after starters and drinks were ordered. The mains, mainly burgers were ordered, had a lot of burnt buns and we had to ask for two of them to be replaced because they were inedible. The birthday girl's burger from the kids menu was hard and cold and we had to ask for a new one. There was no apology, just eye rolling and like we were bothering the team too much. My husband said twice to the person taking the order to bring everything when it's ready, we were not fussy on waiting everyone to get their food. On the other side, the veggie burger and the sweet potato fries were very nice. Overall, the evening and the meal were disappointing because our guests were from abroad and we wanted to let them experience a nice pub dinner, but they left their plates full.

Great pub. Especially if you enjoy watching sports. We go here for the six nations and its quite a good atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and some of the best kept real ale in the South. In the North hand pulled pumps are put together properly with the sparkler attached. In the south you will notice its rarely, if ever in place (there should be a plastic cover over the screw threads at the end of the swan neck) This means real ale never gets served properly without it. That being said the BB serves the best sparkler free real ale in the South. Top job 👏

I used to come here about a decade ago and I'm very glad to see that the food and service are just as fantastic as they were back then. Great place that makes me want to come to the marina more often.

This, in my opinion, is the best pub in Brighton. Marvellously friendly staff, comfortable place, sport on numerous TVs, a great roof terrace, tremendous food, within walking distance of everywhere important in Brighton, and the range of drinks is magnificent. Stop what you're doing, come here, and if it's a Tuesday, do the quiz. You're missing out if you don't. These people put a lot of effort in. Come see.

Went early in the evening for a quiet rendezvous and food and ticked all the boxes. Nice mains good value, great beer choices, not too noisy.

Vine a Fiveways para tomar unas copas tarde y jugar al billar, tiene un ambiente muy acogedor y uno de los camareros, Lucy, parecía agradable y podía servir un buen Guinness.
