We ordered plaice with chips. The batter on the plaice was overcooked and very oily as if the cooking oil was old. Couldn’t eat it

Disappointed that they got the order wrong. Missed off items I paid for and didn't even get salt and vinegar. When I phoned, they said to call back or mention it on the next visit. The trouble is I won't be going back again if they can't get a simple order right. Which is a shame as the food was nice - but not what I ordered!

My family and I have just had a takeout from ‘ The Big Fish ‘ on Church St in Wilmslow. We all had haddock, fries and mushy peas with sides of curry sauce and gravy. We all really enjoyed our food. I’m a big fan of haddock and know what I like and trust me when I tell you that the fish served here was top quality. Everything was really tasty all served nice and hot. Very well priced too. Highly recommended. I’ll be back .

We booked for my birthday and thought we would have a nice tea and it was truly awful! Weak and cheap coffee, dry cakes and small sandwiches!!! So awful 😞 the bar manager was lovely and gave us a 100% discount… will not return 🤮🤢

Been visiting jodrell on and off as a cyclist for the last 5/6 years, from when the modern caterer was responsible for the cafe, sadly that came to and end a while ago and the university took back charge. The food seems to have been going downhill ever since. Todays (Sunday) breakfast offering consisted of sausage or bacon barms. Precooked and left to slowly cool in a pot, not kept warm or reheated, served on an unbuttered barmcake that was left to dry out in a paper bag. The whole thing soon disintegrated because it was dryer than Gandhi’s flip flop. And they have the cheek to charge £5 for it. On the (only) plus side the coffee is still decent. May be better in the week but today was embarrassing compared to how good it used to be.

The staff were excellent and extremely accommodating when we came to celebrate my Nannas 85th Birthday! They honestly couldn’t do enough! We will be back!

Just awful. Overpriced (£3.55 for a small bottle of coke is just madness!!!). Jacket potatoes were undercooked, flavour-less and no butter. All portions were incredibly small. Nothing positive to say, we felt really ripped off! Over £30 for a kids lunch box, kids jacket potato (tiny) and 1 adults jacket potato. It really did put a dampener on what was a lovely day out!
