Extremely pleased with the service

Had an incredible experience at BBK! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, with the staff being not only attentive but genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The added bonus of kids eating for free was just the cherry on top and such a thoughtful touch for families. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, welcoming service, and family-friendly perks all in one. Highly recommend bbk' s for a delightful meal out!

QR Code only, bar staff not interested in taking orders. No option for pizza, which is advertised heavily... Drinks extremely overpriced and convoluted process to remove service charge. Game's gone.

We went for dinner and were shocked to see a mouse running around the restaurant. We immediately informed our waitress, who casually asked if it was a mouse or a rat, mentioning that it’s common due to their proximity to the train station. The staff seemed unbothered, almost as if they were completely used to this. Friendly staff but unfortunately we will never go back and would not recommend it.

Honestly, it's a good casual atmosphere for drinks and meeting friends or after-work drinks, but what let it down was that I paid for one round of drinks and got charged twice. I showed the manager several times, and everyone at the table agreed we only got one round. When I asked the manager why I was charged twice, he thought I was lying and didn't believe me, even after checking their system, which clearly showed two identical charges for the same round at the same time. After several attempts, they eventually refunded my money, but without compensation or empathy. Just watch out.

Ordered drinks via the QR code at table as instructed by the big sign at the 'closed' bar. Waited over 40mins for our drinks, even after prompting staff 5 times who promised they were coming... drinks finally came and glasses and cups dirty. Not the most busiest venue so not sure why the delay. Not impressed.

The service even when not that busy is so slow. The app takes ages but the bar isn’t much better. The people bringing drinks don’t seem to mind where on the table they put it if there’s a bigger table. The atmosphere is nice but the heaters need improving especially as we move to the colder months. Toilets aren’t great, so very clean and are outside, almost temporary looking. Never eaten there but they do pizzas.

Terrace in the evening was exceptionally lively, full, loud music and noisy! But fun. Exceptional pizzas, I also highly recommend the cutlets first course. Service was rather disorganised and slow, lots of young waiters with no experience, but polite and overall correct.

Stumbled in out of the rain for a quiet drink not realising it was primarily food as the look is more of a craft bar. Ended up having dinner and was pleasantly surprised by a decent menu and two well executed dishes at a decent price. Bar looked to have a good range of beers on. All in all a bit of an understated gem this place.

I had the pleasure of being served by Varsha during my recent visit to BBK and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed right from the start.

Approx. 10 of us met up with an old work friend and was seated outside together. Scanning for food and drink was easy and quick, with no awkward bill splitting. The drinks were made well and the food was tasty, we shared pizza etc. Very nice atmosphere and would go back again.

Great buzzy place with a mixed crowd of office workers, students and tourists. Not the cheapest or quickest service but a decent hang out place with a large covered outside space and indoor dining area.

Overpriced pints (min. £7.20) with a more than a 45-minute wait due to their table service preference. Rude service too.

50mins into Liverpool v Man Utd and still not received a single pint which you can only order through their QR code, which also doesn’t work. Also, no food on a Sunday in their pizza yard during a super Sunday? Best part of my day was watching Casemiro for Utd!!

Waited 55 min for a pizza which it was for my 2 daughter Unacceptable. Not even get an apology from the waiter which was keep saying only “ pizza will be ready in 2 min”.

This place always has a great vibe! However food and drinks do take longer to arrive then they should but hey until then enjoy those vibes!

Great food, location has something iconic and reflects the flair of London. Service was good, but like everywhere, good staff is hard to find... you have to see the "work" too, tables were simply not cleared or cleaned at the end.

Faye is a bloody legend, never been looked after so well. Give her a raise! Service 10/10.

Faye was epic, as were the pizzas. We had a vegan with us, they messed up the order at first but recovered asap and with a smile. Happy days!

Nice vibe sitting outside, easy QR code to order table service and a lovely team - shoutout to Faye for looking after us! I would avoid the pizza as the base was like cardboard with flavourless tomato sauce. Cheese was deec though, but cheese is never wrong.

Overpriced dingy canteen that calls itself a restaurant. The decor is passable if you are in a school canteen short of funding. Food and drinks look and taste like they're from the early 2000s clubbing era at a cheap club in a student area. It's highway robbery charging so much for a subpar dining experience.

The cocktails here are average but good selection and good selection of beers on tap. The food was good. The burger was very tasty. However it was priced £16.50 and I was charged £18.22. I asked the server what was the reason for the price difference and she couldn’t tell me. She then said it was including VAT. But everything else priced on the menu was including VAT. Anyway left very confused by this all.

Had a last minute hen do booking and the staff took care of us all day with their speedy service. The food was beautiful and cocktails were made to perfection, I highly recommend coming here for big or small events with such lovely staff and atmosphere :)

Passed by on a sunny day and was happily surprised by the size of the garden. Good beer, Salt jute was right up my ally. The bartender Owen was very accommodating with a water bowl for our dog. Watched the Olympics on the huge screen out the back. A great local find

Lovely bar with a great variety of drinks available, the margaritas, which I often find to be too salty, were perfect! We also ordered pizza, which was well cooked and very tasty. Great atmosphere and I loved the lighting, made the whole experience feel more special. The staff were all extremely helpful and made you feel very comfortable. 100% would recommend coming if you are in the area 👍🏻

Ordered drinks and had to chase twice. Finally turned up after 15 minutes. 12.5% automatic service charge for drinks even though the label on the table clearly says this would apply for food.

Literally utter rubbish. Dirty glass, complained and got back… the same dirty glass TWICE! staff is rude as never seen before and will patronise you like no other.Never again.

Very sub-par experience. The cocktails are incredibly disappointing, if they ever even make it to your table!! Several orders got lost in their ‘system’ leaving us waiting over an hour for our order. Go somewhere that can accommodate their capacity, not here.

Took 30min to recieve a simple rum and coke. The rum tasted watered down. My friend ordered a pitcher of beer and it had bits floating in it. The staff were not very welcoming and it took ages to flag someone down who could take our order. Food the took even longer to arrive. Overall would not return

-Drinks of 1 coke and 1 rum and coke took 30 min to arrive -The rum was watered down -Our friends ordered beer, which had floating black bits in it? -No napkins at the tables -Had to get up several time to try and flag someone down for food order -Food also took ages, one pizza took a whooping 1h and 50min and our friend had to go and ask for a refund because it just got ridiculous (were you harvesting the wheat for it???) and only then it arrived after 10 more min. -Feels very much understaffed and overpriced -Toilet paper stored on the floor???

I've been drinking in London a long time but the level of service here was the worst I've experienced. We placed an order on the app as instructed, We then waited for 20 minutes and asked the waiter why it was taking so long and they didn't know and would find out. During this time the place was clearing out and the bar staff were throwing ice cubes at each other and just standing around at this point we are 30 minutes without our paid drinks!

Takes bookings for the Euros weeks in advance, but then overbooks and decides it's first come first serve based on who pays the entry fee (in advance) the quickest?! To let people down like that so late on is unacceptable, I could have booked somewhere else in the meantime.
