Wonderful food and service. Riddhi was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect!

Food was good and service was good

Came here for lunch. We were asked after 30 minutes if we were in a rush as the chef had to go to Tesco to get chips. Gave it another 10 minutes and we were told the chef had the chips in the airfryer. When we then decided to leave due to the 45 minute wait, we were told that the food was now ready. The airfryered tesco chips were not warm and the burger was not great. We were given a free drink as compensation for the wait but the coca cola was warmer than the burger. Won't be back.

If you want somewhere to watch sports, this is no longer a good venue for doing so. Music was insanely loud, so loud that our ears hurt and we could not hear one another. Worse, they refused to put the Europa Semi Final game on despite being assured they would, specifically asking for it my booking, and them advertising it on their website. Wound up leaving soon after kickoff to watch elsewhere.

We came to Bermondsey bar and kitchen to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more special — this is where we had our first date, so it holds a really meaningful place for us. the vibe was incredible — great music, amazing crowd, and the outdoor seating adds such a cool, relaxed atmosphere. A huge shoutout to Lyla, who, once she heard it was our anniversary, went above and beyond by getting us a table and even treating us to a celebratory drink! She and the whole staff were so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely made the night unforgettable. We’ll definitely keep coming back, and we’ll be telling all our friends to check this place out. Thank you, for making our anniversary (and our whole story!) so memorable!

Lyla was amazing – so warm, thoughtful, and genuinely lovely. She really went out of her way to make us feel special and looked after. Me and my partner came back exactly a year after our first date here to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to Lyla, it felt even more meaningful. She made the whole evening feel even more special, and gave us a great story to tell friends. We’ve decided to make this a yearly tradition! Big thank you, Lyla!

Went for Arsenal PSG UCL game on the 29th - Repeatedly asked for sound to be put on but they refused even though they'd advertised that they were showing the game with sound prior to the event. Technical difficulties meant all the screens went black, our beer order took honestly at least 20 minutes and before the first half had finished they stopped taking orders for beer at the bar - I assume because they ran out but how do you run out of beer in a pub for an event you've organised. All screens went black repeatedly in the first half and big screen remained that way until the end. Honestly the atmosphere was terrible before the technical difficulties because we were watching a football game in silence with people constantly booing and asking for the sound to be turned on. Even if there were no technical difficulties, there were too many issues. The pizza was ok though, not amazing but ok for a pub.

Advertising sports night to watch champions league, where they did not even agree to put on a sound and then screen just crashed. Took 40 minutes to get a beer and later had no beer to order. Gave us a table for 8, where there was a rope structure making it impossible to sit on the bench. Avoid this place. London Bridge has a lot more decent pub than this miserable place.

AVOID for any sports! Drinks took 40+ minutes to arrive (had to go to the bar to ask for them in the end), had no sound as advertised and the screens kept cutting out before we gave up and went elsewhere.

Emailed before arriving to ensure sound was on for a football match. Sound didn't work during the game to a chorus of boos, and left after 20mins. Also, food terrible, took a ridiculously long time and tasted awful. Will never return. Do not come here.

Came for the arsenal game, had an amazing time. The bar staff were absolutely incredible despite problems with the big screen and super full venue. big creds to the team who kept a smile on their face! absolutely will be returning!

Massive garden with heaters and screens. We went on Easter Sunday and they closed early because not busy enough. It was quite empty but we really loved the outside space. I’m sure it would be busier on a standard day.

Nonchalant staff and mediocre food (served lukewarm), yet charging typical "going rate" London prices... not a great value proposition.

The barmaud said the bare was closed, they said to scan the QR code at the bar for table service which then enabled you to order drinks which they then told you you couldn't have cuz the bar was shut. Staff and manager were incredibly surly and aggressive. It's a shame cuz I really wanted a pint of their IPA.

Great service and great environment

I came here for a work social, and it was a fantastic experience! Our server, Hakeem (I hope I got his name right!), provided outstanding service. Managing a large group can be challenging, but he handled everything seamlessly, prioritising our food and drink orders, ensuring we were well taken care of and enjoy our evening. The atmosphere was lively, the pizza was delicious, and every interaction with the staff was warm and friendly. Hakeem, in particular, stood out with service that was a cut above the norm. Without a doubt, we’ll be back. Huge thanks to the team!

Had a seat outside for rugby. My friend who booked the table was expecting it to be inside but seemingly wasn't told we would be outside. TV provision was a few suspended every few metres. This worked out ok but could have been better. Service was great and quick. Unsure what the beer selection was like, but the Guinness was a good pint.

Get the burger if you go delicious. Just a relaxing vibe to it

Booked BBK for our NHS Christmas party back in December and I couldn’t have picked better! We were a large group that had many special requirements and from the start, everybody was so helpful. They even kindly curated our own menu to suit our budget and were so patient too. Communication was great from the start and our host, George was fab too. We had the whole room to ourselves and had an amazing time. Highly recommend - thank you!

I went here just before Christmas and the vibe was great. Came back in February and it was very disappointing. No cohesion with table bookings, so we ended up sharing with another big group. Toilets are really cold and grim. The pizzas have also dipped in quality, and while drinks are understandably going to be expensive in central London, I still don’t think plastic cups are a good vibe for the cost.

Really poor service- manager was incredibly rude-needs to go on a customer and hospitality course. . Food was average, I would not recommend any part of this place. So much better along Bermondsey Street and London Bridge area.

I don't often leave reviews but this place just has the most awful service and attitude of staff. It's slow, it's not very polite and it's just now for me! Food and atmosphere are decent which is a real shame but the staff let it down every time I come here. I always hope next time will be better but it's not so now I'm leaving a review.

We arrived for our booking at 8pm with hopes of the Margarita cocktail and Margarita pizza special until 9pm on Fridays, only to be told the guy making the pizzas had “gone home”. Staff was unfriendly and vibes were poor so we just left

Moody staff and incoherent covid-style ordering system.

Security very bad and unapproachable. What are there dress code Who wears tracksuits to work as security and hoodies. Rude and do not allow you time to finish your drink. Bar closed 10:30pm, how much money did you lose for 30 mins. Everyone kicked out by 10.55pm and told to get out. I recommend if you employ thugs, you replace them asap and get a professional company who wants to act in a professional manner. Not good when we hire a section and spend over £1.5k and get treated like trash but doorman who have no customer service skills. But on the positive, the food was amazing anf the slider were brilliant. Cheese burgers were tasty. We won’t return for Xmas party if you have the same security company there.

Held a 60 person + work event here during a busy Christmas period, fantastically organised and seamlessly run. Whole team was great (George, Varsha, Gerti, Shubby, Riddhi )but thanks George especially.

I had the pleasure of having my staff christmas party this year at BBK, the service was fantastic and communication from Kyleen was prompt. They made us feel welcomed and festive, the food was great and the venue is always a laugh. Highly recommend and the staff all go out of their way to make sure you everyone is happy, even the chef himself asked how everything was. Will 100% be returning !

Came for the first time in BBk great location with a wonderful server name, riddhi was very polite and humble assisted very well throughout the drinks and food with her charming smile.

I recently had an amazing experience at BBK. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a night out. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food—absolutely delicious! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The drinks were equally impressive, with a great selection that perfectly complemented our meal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend!

This is for the bar only - I will start off by saying that it is a great location (biased as it’s like 5 mins from my work and clients in most directions) and it is always free (like by 50% capacity) when everywhere else is packed and we fail to get a squeeze in! Which is how we ended up here on multiple occasions 😅 If you’ve ever been to LV, imagine the staff there but instead of passive aggressive they’re just aggressive (and way more sweaty) - acting like they’re above you though, that impression was spot on! Oh and we saw multiple bar staff give themselves a 15% tip without asking, not exactly discretionary if the payer never had the discretion to it especially after experiencing the opposite of what can be called service. You know as a kid when you had just woken up for school and mum is already in a fowl mood and starts taking it out on you for no reason - you could have done absolutely nothing yet because it’s been 3 seconds since you existed that day - because something else completely unrelated to you had her upset 😂 Well, it’s how they train staff here apparently - through leadership by example clearly because one of the guys who rolled his eyes and stormed off sat down to do some important stuff on a laptop and we overheard the staff behind the bar talk about how he’s stressed and how hard it must be to be a manager, yikes!!

Nice place, good, large terrace, but inside is very cozy, actually I prefer it. The offering is very nice but what's great is the staff, extremely kind, smiley all the time, caring and really going for the extra mile. Thank you for having us! See you soon

Had an incredible experience at BBK! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, with the staff being not only attentive but genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The added bonus of kids eating for free was just the cherry on top and such a thoughtful touch for families. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, welcoming service, and family-friendly perks all in one. Highly recommend bbk' s for a delightful meal out!

1st time experience, great pub for watching sport

We went for dinner and were shocked to see a mouse running around the restaurant. We immediately informed our waitress, who casually asked if it was a mouse or a rat, mentioning that it’s common due to their proximity to the train station. The staff seemed unbothered, almost as if they were completely used to this. Friendly staff but unfortunately we will never go back and would not recommend it.

Honestly, it's a good casual atmosphere for drinks and meeting friends or after-work drinks, but what let it down was that I paid for one round of drinks and got charged twice. I showed the manager several times, and everyone at the table agreed we only got one round. When I asked the manager why I was charged twice, he thought I was lying and didn't believe me, even after checking their system, which clearly showed two identical charges for the same round at the same time. After several attempts, they eventually refunded my money, but without compensation or empathy. Just watch out.

Ordered drinks via the QR code at table as instructed by the big sign at the 'closed' bar. Waited over 40mins for our drinks, even after prompting staff 5 times who promised they were coming... drinks finally came and glasses and cups dirty. Not the most busiest venue so not sure why the delay. Not impressed.

The service even when not that busy is so slow. The app takes ages but the bar isn’t much better. The people bringing drinks don’t seem to mind where on the table they put it if there’s a bigger table. The atmosphere is nice but the heaters need improving especially as we move to the colder months. Toilets aren’t great, so very clean and are outside, almost temporary looking. Never eaten there but they do pizzas.

Terrace in the evening was exceptionally lively, full, loud music and noisy! But fun. Exceptional pizzas, I also highly recommend the cutlets first course. Service was rather disorganised and slow, lots of young waiters with no experience, but polite and overall correct.

Stumbled in out of the rain for a quiet drink not realising it was primarily food as the look is more of a craft bar. Ended up having dinner and was pleasantly surprised by a decent menu and two well executed dishes at a decent price. Bar looked to have a good range of beers on. All in all a bit of an understated gem this place.

I had the pleasure of being served by Varsha during my recent visit to BBK and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we felt welcomed right from the start.

Great buzzy place with a mixed crowd of office workers, students and tourists. Not the cheapest or quickest service but a decent hang out place with a large covered outside space and indoor dining area.

Approx. 10 of us met up with an old work friend and was seated outside together. Scanning for food and drink was easy and quick, with no awkward bill splitting. The drinks were made well and the food was tasty, we shared pizza etc. Very nice atmosphere and would go back again.

Waited 55 min for a pizza which it was for my 2 daughter Unacceptable. Not even get an apology from the waiter which was keep saying only “ pizza will be ready in 2 min”.

This place always has a great vibe! However food and drinks do take longer to arrive then they should but hey until then enjoy those vibes!

Great food, location has something iconic and reflects the flair of London. Service was good, but like everywhere, good staff is hard to find... you have to see the "work" too, tables were simply not cleared or cleaned at the end.

Faye was epic, as were the pizzas. We had a vegan with us, they messed up the order at first but recovered asap and with a smile. Happy days!

Overpriced dingy canteen that calls itself a restaurant. The decor is passable if you are in a school canteen short of funding. Food and drinks look and taste like they're from the early 2000s clubbing era at a cheap club in a student area. It's highway robbery charging so much for a subpar dining experience.

The cocktails here are average but good selection and good selection of beers on tap. The food was good. The burger was very tasty. However it was priced £16.50 and I was charged £18.22. I asked the server what was the reason for the price difference and she couldn’t tell me. She then said it was including VAT. But everything else priced on the menu was including VAT. Anyway left very confused by this all.
