The Bell in Wycombe

Turned up for a late lunch with the family, told 'we don't do food, haven't for years'. Decided to stay for a drink; slow service, rude (bar staff just stood there staring at us), and then some kid tried to sell us drugs from a menu on his phone. Real classy place. Certainly won't be returning.

Dropped into the Bell a few days ago, with a family friend who lives locally; for a few drinks. The pub is genuinely welcoming, cheery and seems to be quite a part of the local community. It was winter time, by pub standards the pub looks to be on the small size, but that adds to the charm. There is a beer garden. It is very very good to see the pub responding politely and directly to Trip Advisor reviews.

Really enjoyed our visit on Saturday night after a meal at Villa Bianca. We will call in again next time in Princes Risborough.

There were a 15 yr old girl drinking alcohol who bullies my disabled sister, I was enjoying a few pints with my gf and a few mates till her father came over starting arguments I asked Richard if he could tell them to leave us and are table alone was kicked out with police at my door for assault which is completely lies, rather disappointing as it were my local pub and would go in most days :/

Very nice Mothers day meal wonderful staff great polite staff and good food and plenty over it. A good start by a new team will come again.

I recently heard that The Bell in Princes Risborough recently had new chefs in the kitchen so i thought i would give it a try. What can i say? Incredible. I had a beef burger for around £9 which to me felt a bit much but for a burger but went through with it any way. I was not disappointed. The presentation was incredible. It came out on a piece of slate, that was covered by a thick burger skewered together with onions on the top. On the side was a bit too mutch salad but that is my own personal preference as i prefer to be unhealthy. All so on my slate was a well portioned stack of cheesy chips. I like to say i am a bit of a cheesy chip expert and i can safely say, these where done to perfection. The flavour of the burger was intense. After i finnished my meal, i took my slate to the kitchen so they didnt have to clear it (force of habit) they asked me how it was. J told them honestly that i felt for the price there should have been a bit more for the price i payed, even a bit of bacon could have for-filled that and you know what the chef did? He apologised sincerely and whacked a couple bit of bacon the grill which completely made up for the fact it was not in the burger. Top stuff bois, keep it up

Very friendly staff. We had starters and they were both a good size. They are now open on Mondays too!

Popped into here after having been here many years ago and found it still to be very good old pub, would go back again

Location. Small car parking area, however close to the center of Princes Risborough and on the public transport route. Entertainment. BT & Sky Sports, board games, free WiFi and quiz every Sunday. Drinks. Not much of a variety of drinks on tap, however a mix of gins and cocktails, along with Sangria on tap made it more appealing to us! All reasonably priced too. Food. Good pub food, tasty, quick to come out and priced well. A pub with a good atmosphere, lots of space and seating, a bit rough around the edges, but still my cup of tea. The service was great and I would definitely recommend and come again - thanks to the Bell team.

...etwas schmuddelig, aber nett. Waren hier auf ein paar Pints und Jäger-Bombs (sehr zu empfehlen).Wir saßen im Biergarten, der auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.

Don't be put off when you first go in as a very pubby pub. Delicious food . Friendly staff and I'm sure I'll be back. Big portions , esp the pudding !! Huge x Highly recommend.

Staff really helpful. Loved the kids new play area- felt safe and enclosed (you can see it easily from the garden). Food looks yummy and beautifully presented.

We wondered when we visited this pub with a Groupon voucher, what we had let ourselves in for. We were actually in for a treat. The food was delicious and the staff were great. The ladies both had ploughmans and I have not seen such quantities provided before and all the food from the crusty bread via the cheese and ham to the pickled onions was very enjoyable. The men had ranchers chicken burgers with plenty of chicken, bacon and cheese in the brioche bun and a good helping of chips.

The staff are very friendly and polite, the food is excellent with very good portions, very clean and tidy. Good value for money. Also good choice of drinks. Well worth a visit.

Loved this place! Bar Staff are friendly and the food was great. I don’t normally write reviews but we were looked after so well and nothing was an inconvenience for the staff so I had to write this review We will be back!

Went here for Sunday lunch, on the plus sides it was a good plateful, beef was very nice, just pink in the middle and the root veg was nice but thats about it, the yorkshires were black and the potatoes were burnt and so hard almost impossible to cut without them shooting across the room, both yorkies and potatoes about burnt to a cinder. Would not recommend or be back.

While touring yhe area around Princes Risborough, I stopped at The Bell for lunch. Excellent choice. The food was very good. Unfortunately, when I went to order dessert, they were out of Eton Mess. If you want Eton Mess, order it when ordering your food - if you wait until after eating your meal, it may be all gone.
