Didn't have any foo. Pub has great atmosphere and great customer service

So here tonight on a Saturday night No Ale No food No crisps No peanuts disgusting don't bother visiting here move on to a place that can be bothered

Excellent choice of Brewshed Cask and Keg ales. Roaring fire, if lucky.

Great beer, friendly staff and open fires...all good.

Good beer and wine,would be 5 star if you didnt have to constantly listen to staff members phones keep going off,i suspect the bar staff might be hard of hearing...

Lovely staff who let my husband try the beers before he made his selection! Had a lovely outside seating area and you can but some of the beets to take away in cans.

I highly recommend paying a visit to The Beer House. This place boasts a fantastic staff, and on a warm evening, their patio is the ideal setting to enjoy a relaxing drink. Don't miss out on this wonderful experience!

In Bury St. Edmunds, a beerhouse I know, But there's something amiss, and I must let it show. They charge a grand sum, a whopping thirteen, For a glass of wine, not fit for a queen! Oh dear, oh my, it's simply absurd, Mediocre wine, and the price is absurd! In London, maybe, such prices could be, But here in this town, it just doesn't agree. So I must take a stand, yes, a boycott I decree, Until they learn fair prices, and set the wine free. No more shall I visit, until things have been mended, And the beerhouse in Bury St. Edmunds, comprehended!

Lovely pub with good beers and lovely beer garden

Great place if you like a real ale or a more interesting beer. Nice interior and great beer "garden" (more a converted carpark) with great little tables under cover. The attached Pizzashed does great food as well - you can take it into the pub

Great Suffolk gin & pizza in the garden....always a winner with me....visit everytime I'm in Bury st Edmunds... Big thumbs up...

Fantastic place with thier own range of tasty craft beers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great indoor and outdoor spaces. My favourite place in Bury St Edmunds, going to miss it since moving. Will have to make an excuse to go back for a drink or two!

We live in Bury and we choose this as our local. They are fantastic, they always have a great selection and they treat customers well. This is a brilliant no nonsense pub. Staff are always super friendly, the atmosphere is always fantastic (photo from the end of the night outside when all patrons have gone home...except us) Been going there for 5 years and they are still my favourite pub in Bury. Great selection of house crafted ales, as well as quality keg and cask options (with spirits and mixers for anyone else)

Great selection of beer and cider. Definitely something for everyone. They do bar snacks. They do pizza but haven't had one as reviews look a little hit and miss and I've only seen one person ear one, so it doesn't seem popular there. Very dog friendly.

Absolutely fantastic place to have a beer. Honestly couldn't fault it, great atmosphere for a pint and Hayden behind the bar could not be a better host. Any time I'm back in Bury I will for sure stop by, they made a Sussex man feel right at home.

We love this pub on a Friday after work. A couple of drinks and a pizza. Can't beat it. Try it the pizzas are fab!!

Excellent place. Nice atmosphere, lots of seats and friendly staff. Great beer selection from their own brewery, even managed to get a proper Black IPA. They do the darker beers very well and I'd reccomend them. There is also a sourdough pizza place on site as well, although this wasn't open when I visited. Bar snacks are served however. Would reccomend and will be back

What a place! Lovely look to the place both inside and out, with plenty of space and tables. Great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Good range of beers brewed locally, pretty much something for everyone. 6 cask lines and at least 6 different keg offerings, plus Stella & Mahou for lager fans. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit

It's another place that discriminates if you can't pay by c/card. Seriously I would rank this alongside discriminating against disabled / LGBTQ+ / Ethnic people. Unable to rate as other than 1 star, unable to use the pub. This would be zero star review but google won't let me post 0 stars 😕

Quality beer great beer garden bar staff excellent

Just called for a couple of pints. Really nice atmosphere and huge range of different beers. Personally I am not bothered about the more esoteric ones but found a really nice “simple” one. If you like to try different ones or have the taster flight then you can.

Came in a few days ago for a couple quick drinks ended up staying for more than a couple. Staff very friendly and attentive especially Dylan! He was really helpful guiding us through the beers and was really kind to our toddler! Will be back again very soon for sure.

Modern brew house just on the edge of town . Big selection of craft and cask ales , bit pricey but very good quality. Young friendly staff well worth a visit . Doesn't open until 5pm during the week .

Really good range of beer from their brewery. Had the porter and best ales. Can't comment on food other than Ihad no complaints about the pork scratchings.

Great pizza, great beer, outdoor heated booths. What’s not to like? Knocking down 1 star for the price of the wine and the unavailability of Amaretto.

Disappointed at the raise of the cost of the wine , I realise that it is a beer house and the cost of beer has remained the same but the huge price increase in wine I consider is short sighted as so many of us that accompany our beer drinkers will not be accommodating them for much longer . Such a shame as it’s been my regular for so long but I cannot justify paying the price !! Sadly goodbye Beer house

Absolutely love this pub, staff are super friendly and always make you feel comfortable and welcome. It has a great atmosphere and I have spent many enjoyable evenings here :) 10/10 would recommend.

Very quiet when I went just after opening time but the beer was excellent and seems like a nice place. Will definitely return next time I'm in Bury.

Ordered my drinks via the HOPT App. Very little wait for the drinks to turn up. Good Covid measures in place. Would certainly come back for a drink here again.

Used to really like this place; handy for the station, but went in today and had to download their own app before ordering, which my phone wouldn't do. Nothing unusual about that these days, but there was no suggestion from the staff of any alternative method of ordering. Life's too short.

A really great traditional pub with a modern twist. Delicious beers all brewed locally with plenty of options on offer. Really nice relaxed atmosphere inside, with a huge sheltered beer garden and heated huts outside. Perfect location to grab a quick drink before you catch a train just down the road. The wood fired pizzas from the Pizzashed are a tasty bonus!

We really miss the old landlord Chris and his amazing staff, esp Amie. They were a really cool team. but it's still a real treat to find a 'pub' uncorrupted by tables reserved for meals, noisy gambling machines and TV screens. This is a great place to catch up with friends. I especially enjoy the fire in the winter. Snce the pizza place opened in the back yard for when that unexpected hunger kicks in, I find it difficult to leave!

The Beerhouse had an interesting assortment of ciders and ales and an inviting atmosphere. The staff was super friendly - even when their cash machine went down. Will be returning for beer and pizza and won’t fault the technical malfunction.

Inside the pub following rule changes. Service was ok. The beer was good.

Amazing local beers as always and this time, me and my husband tried the pizza as well. Both the house special and veggie were delicious! Will definitely be back for more soon.

A warm and lovely welcome from Ruby at the Beerhouse. The drinks arrived in good time and the atmosphere was ecstatic! Covid regulations were handled in perfect order and hygiene standards were met accordingly. Would recommend to any local/foreign visitors! Ask for Ruby!

I follow you on Instagram and was keen to come down. I absolutely love an outdoor beer fest vibe. Managed to soend the evening Saturday in one of your cosy booths. Felt like I was on a city break.... Heaven! So mu h so I've raved to friends... Popped in this evening and back tomorrow to support the pub before closing on Thursday. It saddens me that so many independent pubs, restaurants, salons and shops have invested heavily to comply only to be shut despite the stats pointing the finger if infection rates elsewhere! Anyway, Hope to get some festive drinks in as soon as this all passes. Thanks for all your hard work.

Very COVID controlled. Makes the whole experience enjoyable. They cannot do anymore or try any harder. Deserve to do well under these difficult conditions.

Do not bother to go here. Un accommodating member of staff, we all understand the 6 people rule, our group of 7 offered to split over 2 tables, but he was concerned we may talk to each other. Shove your pub and you're real ale and fancy ciders up your hoop. I hope all your real ale goes off and you go out of business

The beers range from hum-drum to tasty. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the Pizza Shed which shares the patio area all make this a great place to stop in for a pint.

Nice little ale house in St. Bury Edmund's offering beers other than Greene King. Friendly bartender and locals in the pub. Nice to sit down with a book

Only found by accident, great selection of cask/keg ales and 2 real ciders, real fire place, friendly staff and customers. 4 casks by local brewery.

Plenty of beers, the brewshed ones i tried where pretty tasteless. Thank goodness they had an Oakham and a Mighty Oak. Nice place but i couldnt get overly excited about it. A bit nouveau wine bar for me. Would recommend a visit tho, i may just be grumpy.

The Beerhouse is awesome, the end. Seriously, good ales which are forever rotating, nice setting and the addition of proper pizzas make this the best place to drink in town!
