Coffee pretty good, staff luke warm

The walls, floors, pipework, tables and furniture are just filthy. I was shocked to see how dirty the fixtures and fittings are. No issues with the team, but the overall presentation of the place is tatty and neglected looking.

Did online order few deliveroo yesterday I ordered 4 itums one was missing till now I been ignore never get Item or money back so disspointed.

Coffee is very good but the place is filthy. Dirty tables, furniture should be in a skip, floor sticky. Don’t even mention the toilets.

Nice coffee, staff polite but cafe very dirty. Sticky tables, dirty toilet, stained seats. Food all looked good and I'm sure was with in hygiene standards.

Friendly, kind staff, excellent drinks and very nice food, generally comfy and quiet place to sit with a good atmosphere…really good!

Tiniest cake I've ever had in a coffee shop

Stopped here for a break in my morning walk and found the coffee very good and they had good dietary options. The selection of pastries was ok too. The only thing being a foreigner I could connect to the internet and did not get much help either that

Good staff, the store could do with an overhaul. A lot of the seating needs to be refreshed. Always a decent cup of coffee.

Great customer service. Spilt my tray of drinks and made a massive mess. They came to check we were okay, made us new drinks and tidied up the whole thing whilst being very nice about it.

Thought the staff were pleasant and polite. Not many people about so rather quiet, late in the afternoon. Useful cafe.

This place gets better and better. When you are able to retain, train and mentor you team..magic can happen. This is a great place.

Stopped here for a quick coffee in part to use the toilets - wished I had gone any where else. I have rarely seen such filthy loos in a cafe, including a wet sticky floor (there seemed to be a leaking pipe?). The cafe itself was dirty with old stained chairs and tables that looked as if they were never wiped down. Yes the staff are very nice but I wouldn’t want to eat here.

So here is the thing ... cafe Nero makes the perfect American every time wherever you go. That's important of you srink your regular americano without milk like me. And a order thing ... order a vegan sausage roll and they don't just zapp it in the microwave .. no ... they make it crisp in the toasters well. Other café s could learn from Nero, I try Costa, Starbucks but they regularly disappoint. Nero in the buttermarket Bury st Edmunds care... thanks guys.

Pleasantly served by a young lady with dark hair. She was quick to make my flat white and took safety into account by double cupping my coffee. Very smiley and great attention to detail. I used the app to pay, which still collect the reward stamps but also provides contact less payment.

Lovely cake and coffee after a walk in Bury St Edmunds. Our dog was allowed in too. 10 out of 10.

Visited yesterday. Dishwasher not working so paper cups and paper plates. Toilet out of order. Manager complaining to the staff that they were serving customers from the wrong position on till.

It was perfect for a quick breakfast snack.

I've just had an undrinkable coffee. Too late to walk back, kids are tired. The milk was boiled and burnt, no texture. £3.30 wasted. I really fancied a treat, I'm very disappointed. Normally very good service and coffee at this branch. I did not recognise either member of staff workings

Always friendly service and consistently good coffee

The staff are wonderful, and make you very welcome. It has great ambience. I go there twice a week, and enjoy every minute. It feels safe, and most of all, you are made to feel a welcome and valued customer.

A bit expensive for what you got

Great coffee shop situated right in the middle of the town centre. It doesn't get too crowded at all unlike other coffee shops in the town. Great selection of coffees and muffins on show, you can get spoiled for choice. Very friendly staff too. Very easy place to sit and relax after a busy day.

We always like Cafe Nero establishments for the coffee and the Pain-au-Raisn and this one was good for both and the service was quick.

Coffee was OK, but nothing better than somewhere like Costa or Starbucks as it's just part of a chain like those two. Don't know if we got the staff at a bad time (it was late afternoon) but they didn't seem that friendly or welcoming.

We were on a day trip to Bury St Edmunds and it was very cold, so a warm cup of coffee was essential. We found this coffee shop to be just what we needed.

I love this coffee shop. It's a great place to go sit with the pup and enjoy a nice latte. The seasonal lattes are all great and the staff is really friendly. The sandwiches are also really good and served hot. I didn't get photos of the sandwiches but here is a picture of my dog! He was thrilled about being able to come inside with us.

I only ever have hot chocolate and caramel waffle. But the service there is impeccable and the staff are very helpful.

A walk around the town required some refreshment and so we called into Caffe Nero for coffee and a panini each. The café was a little small but adequate and the food was very enjoyable.

Have been using Caff'e Nero for many years, always good coffee and lovely staff.

My daughter and I visited here today for brunch,it was lovely, especially lovely seeing the dogs inside.

Always like the coffee they serve in Café Nero and the sandwiches and wraps are always fresh. Although the café is small you can generally find a seat.

We love Cafe Nero as they allow dogs in their coffee shops, coffee was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

The people here the shop opposite Poundland...are bloody rude. I stood outside the shop earlier looking st prices through the window waiting for a friend and staff behind the counter were pointing staring at me laughing. Bloody ridiculous. Embarrassing for the shop really. Not only that but I was going to go in the shop and purchase something but was out of and so were the people round me who witnessed it about to go into he shop as well.

The coffee was so weak I wondered if they had used old beans and not newly ground beans. The toilet was stained and streaked with faeces. Not what you want to see. There were cups and saucers left on tables so I only had one soft chair and table to choose. I was there some time and no one cleared up. Staff were quite cheerful but I did not enjoy this visit at all and sadly I'm not sure I will go back.

The cofee shop was very busy and not many free tables, and to be honest the state of the tables was not good. Dirty cups, mugs, and plates waiting tio be cleared away, not very inviting. Big queue to get served, so we left.
