Just called in for a drink was bit on the pricey side

It's Boosh. So the staff are pretty friendly and can mix up some great drinks. It can be a bit of a challenge to find a seat some nights as this place can get quite busy. If you're with a group I recommend trying to grab some seats in the back section with the safari style artwork. Overall one of my usual spots when grabbing a drink in town.

Always stop by on a visit to bury! Lovely cocktails, especially at happy hour!

An upscale bar with a wonderful owner and a great atmosphere. Good prices on the drinks, although it can get a bit busy on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a great place to stop in for a few novelty drinks/shots/bombs.

Bit expensive but high quality drinks

A visit to Bury St Edmunds and acall into Boosh. What a terrific place The DJ Ray was spot on, the bar staff (Lily, Marta Isla and Ruth) apart from being gorgeous were also the consumate professionals. The doorman was extremely polite whilst maintaining security. If a good drink with lovely people is your thing this is the place to visit.

Absolutely amazing cocktails. Great choice, taste lovely and presented beautifully. The location is great as it is in the heart of the town. The bar itself is a riot of colours but beautifully done. Staff were very professional and provided a great service. Well done Boosh, will definitely be back when we are in Bury again.

Not bad but the cocktail was a little disappointing for the £9.50 I paid. I had the Banana Colada. I like creamy cocktails. It was slightly creamy . Interesting decor.

Great fun with Hugo who taught us lots about making cocktails & was very entertaining. We all had a great time. Would highly recommend.

Best cocktails in town, great for a day catch up or night out. Team always have a laugh with you.

Staff are fantastic however, the owner/manger makes you feel really uncomfortable & not welcome at all.

Spent £100 on a £10 bottle of vodka and 35p energy drink when I asked for grey goose. Absolutely disgusting as a young girl age of 21 I just wanted some cheering up after that World Cup score. I may be blonde but I’m not thick I know when I see a muggery. It’s just not on at all. Would not recommend. Spilt the vodka on the pavement as well and it took the concrete straight off and now there is a pot hole. Absolute hazard not only robbery but injuries as wel NHS are suffering enough. Thanks a lot boosh may as well call you boooooo 👎 If I could give minus stars I would even banned the words coming home what a bloody scam!

Lovely bar with qwerky decor and comfy seating. Friendly staff and great cocktails. Not tried the tapas style food they offer but that looks great too. Recommend for special occasions they also do a happy hour but we missed that.

The staff were very good, the cocktails were excellent and enjoyed atmosphere very relaxed and chilled, will definitely go and enjoy a few drinks here soon

Pre drinks here before a curry and it was lovely so thanks to the barman for suggesting the drinks we had.

Fantastic atmosphere. Love the decor and the staff are really friendly. Loved the idea of a pay for the hour drink and they even do a cocktail masterclass. An all around great place to go, definitely recommend it.

Really nice little bar in bury. Service was a little slow bur friendly and drinks were nice although my Husbands glass clearly had a lipstick mark on it. How the bar staff did not see that when pouring his beer I do not know. Aside from that it was a nice little place.

The boosh bar is one of the most vibrant places in bury st edmunds. With lovely staff and cocktails, I recommend everyone to try boosh bar. Well priced drinks and food and with taste to back it up, the boosh bar is a must visit.

Boosh bar is exquisite, the atmosphere is exceptional, the staff are welcoming, nice, and always accommodating to everyone. The drinks are amazing and also very reasonably priced. Would recommend everyone to come visit for a cocktail or a bite to eat whilst passing through Bury, and can promise that after one visit, that you’ll be popping in a lot more.

Service, drinks and decor were good, but would really benefit by "choosing a lane". Are you a cocktail bar or dance club? Setup said, "cocktail bar", music choice said, "dance club".

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Served at the table with our drinks no standing at the bar which I quite like....personal service. Excellent for a quiet drink.

I came in on Friday around 11:35 to find the place was not wearing any face masks. The Menus were very sticky as well of the tables staff wasn’t very polite. No social distancing at all and we are still in a pandemic. Wouldn’t be visiting here again

Booked a table for a birthday party and upon arrival at 9:30pm the staff told us we could not have all of our seats only a tiny sofa because another walk in party were in our seats and they were not going to ask them to move or leave. I’m completely shocked they thought it was acceptable to let us down like this with no apology. Thank god a lovely man at Edmundos across the road sorted a great table and drinks for us.

If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. Absolutely appalling service from the staff, we were booked for 17 people weeks in advance for a birthday party and upon arriving we were placed at a table that seated 5 due to staff not asking a walk in party to leave so that we could have our seats. Just can't understand how that is acceptable, what is the point of having a booking system if you just completely disregard it when we turn up? Ruined our entire night and my friends birthday. Will never be going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Absolutely disgusting customer service. 👎

Unfortunately not a good experience, I will not be going back. The staff let us down and didn’t let us use the table we had booked for a party (two weeks in advance) because another walk in had taken our seats and wouldn’t leave.

Disgusting service. Booked a table for a birthday party, on the day they refused to clear a table for us and allowed a walk in to stay despite the fact we had all traveled miles to come. Staff was rude and unaccomadating. Would never come here again. Shocking.

Really disappointing experience here. We booked a room for my friend’s birthday 3 weeks in advance, however, when we arrived there was only one table with about 6 seats for 17 of us and another group were occupying the other tables we’d booked. Staff were incredibly unhelpful, bordering on rude, and refused to clear the area even though the other table hadn’t booked. Such a shame as we’d organised our whole night around coming here.

Abusive and rude staff, harassed and hurried I to a table too small for us when we had a whole room booked. Friends travelled from across the country, even as far as Middlesborough just to be disappointed and harassed by a rather short tempered and irritable young waitress. Not to mention the abuse we were receiving from other drunken customers, one of whom was passed out on their chair without any sign of them being asked to leave. Absolutely abysmal service from this Saturday (6/11/2021) we will not be returning again and will be encouraging anyone and everyone not to follow suit.

After visiting with my boyfriend back in June, I was so excited to return and recommend this place for a large group of us to visit for my friends birthday. Despite booking 3 weeks in advance and being told that we would have the whole back room for 17 of us, when we turned up a large group of people that had been there since 6 were still in our reserved table (for 9:30pm). Instead of asking them to leave, we were told that we should just try and fit on a table for 5 (17 of us!). One of the group that were not asked to leave was even sleep at the table, so clearly did not need any more. The staff were really unaccommodating and borderline rude to us, so we decided to leave. I would not visit again after this, really disappointing.

Disgusting service. Very disappointed, having booked a table in advance for my birthday we arrived on the day only to be told that they wouldn’t move a walk in who had been there for the last few hours (despite people on their table having fallen asleep so clearly didn’t need anymore!) staff was rude and unaccomadating. By the end we were heckled out and staff did absolutely nothing but shrug and say they didn’t care. Don’t provide a booking service if you can’t stick to it and certainly will never be returning to somewhere that clearly don’t give an inch about loyal customers. Really shocking.

Staff are cowards. We booked a table for 16 people. We turned up at the agreed time and they would not remove the people who where sat in our booked tables. This was because they where to drunk and giving the staff issues. We asked them kindly to leave asked the staff to make them leave and they refused. We ended up leaving because we was asked to squeeze 16 in seats for 5. What and absolute joke of a place ruined our whole night. So not recommend. Not reliable.

Boosh pre Covid used to be a great place for a drink or two. Visited twice in the last week and front of house are incredibly rude and patronising. We walked out. Dont bother with it as many other much nicer bars in BSE

Drinks average..good but nothing special. The waiters has no drink knowledge. The drinks are overpriced with 9 pounds or more for a basic drink. The restroom nasty. Water slow drip in the sink. Tissue on the floor. No paper towels to dry your hands and the hand dryer did not work. I notified the waiter and I was given papertowels at the table to dry my hands. No papertowels restocked after notification

Never eaten here before - had an amazing lunch which was fresh , delicious , beautifully prepared and excellent friendly service . Menu options were great . Highly recommended and different from anywhere else in Bury . We’ll be back !

The staff were really polite, friendly and welcoming. Drinks were lovely and the decor is so nice! Everything was also really COVID safe and spaced out.

The cocktails are pricey but delicious. Our table was so wiped down it was sticky to begin with. Hand sanitizer was available on entry which we opted to use, but it wasn’t pointed out to us. Friendly staff, superb service. Would return.

We visited this weekend just gone, very nice bar but the government guidelines were clearly not adhered to in this bar. We watched a small family leave the bar, and the table was cleared but not cleaned down and then around 15 mins later another...

Massively recommend AGAINST ever going in here. It's so over priced (and I'm from London) for average drinks, staff and owner are unbelievably rude, it's absolutely dead until about 8PM and they don't take Amex - who doesn't take Amex these days??

Happened to spot this little restaurant on our weekend away, lovely waitress made us feel very welcome and especially enjoyed the gluten free brownie. Also loved the quirky interior design, definitely visit here again.

Boosh bar is the most beautiful building with a wonderful atmosphere and awesome welcome. They go out of their way to make your visit special. The Halloween decorations are the best in Bury. Just fantastic.

My partner and myself popped in for our first time for some light lunch, we both ordered paninis. Tasted great! Nice side salad. Cosy atmosphere with a good selection of cakes. The only bad point is some missing ingredients from the menu such as not disclaiming onion in the tuna and cheese panini, not a huge deal but for a fussy eater it's a shame to have to send it back and waste time and food, however the staff were happy to rectify. Overall great experience and will come again!

Found this lovely little bar in burystedmunds town centre ,hot sunny day open front on the bar , a friendly greeting on entry( counts for a lot) The food was lovely fresh , nutritious ( plenty for veggies) clean toilets,comfy furniture would recommend to everyone

Poor management, poor customer service and a very poor response to a complaint. Attended a hen party where a private room with a "newly installed speaker system" was promised at a cost of £50, they failed to provide the speaker system and did not inform the person booking that this would not be available, the manager was totally unapologetic, refused to accept responsibility and couldn't seem to understand why people were annoyed, only under duress did he provide a bottle of Prosecco as (in his view not ours) suitable compensation. I emailed to complain and got a very stroppy reply, I asked for the owners email/telephone number and I have had no reply to my request.

Have been here several times now for after work cocktails and they are always beautiful. They bartenders really take their time and are very open to getting to know how you like the cocktail best, sweeter or more bitter which i love! Expresso Martini is delicious. Defo recommend - especially the clocktails, great idea.

Dropped in for some pre dinner cocktails and they were great! The bar man took great care in mixing all of our drinks and was friendly and chatty throughout. Ambience was lovely. Really couldn’t fault our visit.
