Post COVID opening the service and ambience is not the same.

they put boba balls in my salted caramel frappe and it tasted disgusting!

Asked for warm not hot decaf soy cappuccino, thank you guys , you're the best 😍

Very noisy place due to one person causing disturbance. Otherwise it would have been nicer

i went on a first date with a girl i met recently through work. the girl that served us our drinks was blunt and rude to both of us. she had split dyed hair which i think was purple. apart from her the rest of the date went great, the drinks were as good as usual and same with the food. i just didn't appreciate the service.

I came here on a date with someone i had recently met. We had our order taken by a woman with split dyed, purple and blue hair, she wasn’t welcoming and was quite ignorant towards us, it ruined the mood for the rest of our date. She was extremely passive aggressive and snarky, we felt very uncomfortable. Aside from this the drinks were very good but the service was poor.

There has been quite a shift around of staff and most are new. Fairly friendly and the hot drinks are still good quality but how I wish the Baristas could manage the pattern on a flat white) I would question the cleanliness however. I could understand trays/ crockery and tables not being cleaned away if there were a skeleton staff but sadly this has not been the case. The toilets are on another level altogether, they absolutely reeked of urine, the toilet seat was stained, the sink was in need of a scrub and I only went in there to wash my hands before drinking my coffee. Come on Costa...

I went to Haverhill Costa 26/09/23 and bought a blueberry bouble frappe. And tbh is was very nice £9.31 for two drinks

No sign on the door saying no dogs but would not serve me when I walked in holding my very small dog. Clear signage is a must in these situations.

Having stopped using this place a couple of years ago due to appalling customer service attitudes i today found myself popping in to get a take out coffee. Sadly it hasn’t gotten any better, possibly even a bit worse. I was standing at till waiting to order, one staff member walked straight past, then the second and then the first again. After a while (felt like 5 mins) the first finally decided she would now take my order. I don’t know if it’s a generational thing as staff here always seem to be youngsters or whether it’s a coffee shop thing but customer service still stinks here

The setting is nice, but the staff is young and not yet a team! They have not worked together and are not confident in their skills!

Good quality service with an added smile. Drinks and food always made well and exactly to each person's request

Only two staff on duty at 9am but luckily we were at the front of the queue. Our friends came in 5 minutes later and it took 20 minutes for them to get served. When another member of staff arrived they had him clearing tables instead of prioritising on getting the queue down. A friend who hadn’t been there before said ‘why do you come here if they are slow and so expensive?’. Because one of our group is snobbish about his coffee.!We convinced him that Greggs is half the price for breakfast so we’re off there next time. It’s not as if the Haverhill Costa building is particularly nice anyway.

Nice store, perfect service although the food is a bit poor but that's not specifically this stores fault.

Haverhill Costa is my favourite and I travel a lot. Super friendly, efficient, and they remember what I order . Coffee tastes good too.

It was a good service We had to wait a couple minutes to get served but it wasn’t long Drinks were good but marshmallows weren’t marshmallows, they tasted more like jelly £1 extra each for marshmallows and another £1 extra for whipped cream £8.80 for 2 hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows

So much better in our Costa now they got rid of all them horrible staff they had over lockdown, I was banned from this Costa during lockdown for saying I'd do the phone track and trace at the table not at the till as my disabled daughter was having difficulties standing and we needed to sit her down at a table..... the then server was rude so I was rude back and I was asked to leave and not return.... I've since called Costa head office and the lovely lady assured me I wasn't banned for any Costa cafe and that then particular servers had been removed from their positions due to having done this same thing to a table of elderly ladies that week too so today for the first time I went back in to be served with a beautiful smile from all the servers and baristas and made to feel very very welcome so well done Costa bosses for not letting teenage managers and young servers remain working in their cafe to be rude to customers. Much love to haverhill Costa as yyour new team have customer service bang on right! Xxxxxxxx Upate.... All credit to Sarah for turning that shop around, I absolutely love this lady, she runs this Costa with all the precise of a finely tuned engine 1👌 xxxxx

Greggs is better value for money and the staff seemed put out when I told them My friend had a nut allergy.

Not as good as it once was -gone downhill. I think there is a new manager. One member of staff, who may well be the manager spends her time chatting and ignores customers. The other staff do the work. Drinks are nice, food is lovely but the whole atmosphere has changed.

I go to the doctor very early in the morning every 2 weeks to have bloods taken. I was so happy to find that The Haverhill Costa Coffee is open from 7am so I can fortify myself with a muffin and cappuccino before having bloods taken. The staff in their are always so happy and friendly in the mornings, unlike me so it is very pleasant to sit and chillax. If I could I would give it 10 stars!

The staff was friendly. Ordered swiftly. Seem very busy here at times but was able to catch up with a friend and have a free Costa drink with my rewards and a cake for £1 it was great. Liking these rewards.

It's great to be able to pre order, but it's so noisy I generally have to sit outside. Decent coffee (though not always hot). Quite expensive too.

Had a lovely frappe with my fiancé on Sunday morning, had a chocolate brownie frappe where as my partner had a caramel frappe, both were delicious, staff were lovely, recommended highly, can be busy at times but worth it.

Nice Costa with a buzzing community and great customer service.

Have visited this location several times and I have always been disappointed. Poor service, hygiene and product availability are the normal for this location. I’m not sure if this is a site operated by a franchise partner or is owned and operated by Costa itself, however usual brand standards do not apply here across product availability, drink preparation and customer service. Always plenty of team on site who unfortunately seem reluctant to serve, clean tables, sweep the floor and smile! Please sort this unit out and deliver the service, coffee and food experience the brand is usually associated with.

Coffe ecellent and bacon rolls very good. Shame the change of tables, seating and decor has destoyed the atmosphere and ambience this Costa initially had. Souless canteen feel now.

On Tues. afternoon 30.11.21 I had experienced a very bad day, with people letting me down & things going wrong. I decided to treat myself to a take-away coffee; the tall, young man with light coloured hair was extremely kind to me, and because of his actions I walked home smiling all the way. He made my day! Thank you.

Always very cold and the front door needs fixing as massive gaps at the bottom. Great in summer ...not so much fun in winter !

The two Baristas working the 7am shift this morning are amazing!!! They've served me before, but it's been a while since I've popped into the Haverhill Branch. Instead I've grabbed incredibly disappointing drinks from various Wild Beans, that have been tepid and inconsistent. These two guys at Costa need a raise! Their customer service is always excellent as well as being fast and efficient. Such professional work ethic is rare, which is why it deserves acknowledgment👍

It was nearly closing time but the 2 lads were very polite and still gave good service they even let me sit in for 20 mins. It was all very nice and tidy .

I regularly visit this Costa and find the staff are friendly and the drinks always made perfectly. This time we had a strawberry and cream frostini and my daughter had a mint one.

Haverhill’s branch is helpfully centrally located on the high street. The staff are friendly and there’s always a good choice of snacks.

I called into Costa Haverhill to purchase drinks and take advantage of the 50p hot drinks. Due to the special offer, it was very busy in store and after waiting approximately 30 minutes I made it to the counter. The woman who served me asked if I realised only hot drinks were priced at 50p, I confirmed I did as I seen the posters etc. The woman then proceeded to tell me I was rude and sarcastic and refused to serve me. To say I was shocked beyond belief is an understatement, I explained I had not intended to be rude in any way and just wanted to buy drinks. She then told me she'd been at work since 8 a.m. and worked two hours overtime and was fed up with people like me! She then told her colleague, I was rude and sarcastic and she was fed up with people like me, humiliating me in front of staff and customers, when I had not been rude to her AT ALL, quite the opposite. I was then asked to leave the shop, as her outburst heightened. While I appreciate we are living in difficult times and the coffee shop was very busy, this attitude and behaviour is completely unacceptable.

Nice environment to meet up with friends

It was nice, served quickly, coffee tea and cakes were really nice. Place had no ambiance, just a room with chairs, no view unless you want to look at the betting shop or estate agents.

Tea and cake brilliant, table and chairs and floor dirty, one chair had cake smeared all over the seat and there was a nasty smell from the bottom end of shop! NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN>

Popped in for a couple of coffees whilst visiting Haverhill high street. Not the most exciting Costa I,ve been in basically just a large open space with tables and chairs but non the less extremely busy. The staff were ok but again not as welcoming as in other Costas.

Sloppy service and ridiculously overpriced

Visited yesterday and the floor was covered in food, empty containers and general dirt. Staff not paying attention - ordered 2 hot chocolates in different sizes and almost got charged for the same. Hot chocolate has lumps of powder in it. No marshmallows, but 2 spoons, one of which had been licked. Asked for clean spoon, guy wiped it with side cloth and handed it back. Guy preparing coffees had long hair dangling over food and drink - but headband on top. Visited loo and there was paper and water all over the floor. Absolute disgrace and I won't be going back - avoid at all costs

Called in at about 130pm after doing some shopping with wife. Had 2 coffees and a snack. Made to feel welcome by staff. Served by Daniel very pleasant. Not too many customers at this time so plenty of room and had choice where to sit. On further observation noticed cobwebs in lights so need to pay attention to this. Would visit again.

Terrible. After waiting 25 minutes for a takeaway drink I got outside to find I had been given the wrong one. Didn't have time to wait for another. What a waste of the best part of £5. I will never go back.

By far the best Costa around, the staff are so nice here and they make your drink exactly how you want it!

Unfortunately I popped in here to have a drink before driving to my next visit. The server had leaked boiling water over the counter & hadn’t mopped it up, my tray was placed in the water and the transferred to my table so I couldn’t get my laptop out. The kitchen door was left open to see those working in the kitchen. The loo was messy. There just wasn’t any love in the place! On leaving the doors were filthy with finger prints all over.
