The Beer House in Preston

£10 for a glass of red wine ?!? Really !?!?! Good grief if I’d known that before hand I would have gone somewhere else My partner had a pint which was £5 How can you charge such expensive prices for a glass of wine ?

Having arrived from Australia and transiting to Edinburgh we popped in for a beer. Patrick was great with his advise on the beer selections.

Patrick the bar man is always helpful, cheerful and will always point out any drinks deals going at the time.Well done to him.Thank you.

Advertised as open until 2200, but was shut at 2100. Been on the go since 0530, so was ready fir a pint in between trains. Disappointing.

Closed very dissappointed as on our way to MIA thought we could have a glass of wine .... no place shut only upper crust open don't want coffee

Just checked what we were charged for 2 medium sized glasses of wine - £17.68!!!!! Admittedly it was very busy & noisy so we couldn’t catch how much he said,, but certainly would never have expected to be charged so much!!

Vic is awesome. He is one of the best severs in Preston. The drinks were lovely. Snacks were good too. Thanks Vic, appreciate it

The sign outside states Happy Hour prices are Sunday to Thursday (with no times shown). The indoor signs at the bar state Happy Hour is ALL DAY Sunday-Thursday. This is untrue! So instead of being charged £4 for a glass of Prosecco, I was charged £9.50!!! That is a ludicrous price to charge at train station in Preston! For that price I would expect to be in a stunning bar in London! The times of Happy Hour should be clearer and prices should be made more available to customers (menus on the table or bar etc). However I’d be surprised if many people would order if they knew the prices in advance!
