Three weeks ago we had a surprise 80th birthday party for my husband which we held at the Albion. It was the best place to hold such a gathering of a family who not only came from all over the UK , but from abroad as well. The atmosphere was wonderful ,added to by the staff who seemed to pull out all stops. The buffet food was just right and we were given plenty of choice. One of the nicest things, we were not all shut away in another room but were all part of the pub life. Which added to an enjoyable day. Thank you all so very much.

I’ve been a local for over 30 years and Verity resurrected The Albion from the ashes. Great atmosphere, food and service plus really good live music, so all of us locals flooded back to the crown jewel of Bridge Road the managed to retain the old English pub identity under her management. Thank you Verity!🙌👏

Visited this pub last weekend and I had a beautiful evening, so warm and cosy. Lovely staff, very friendly, good prices and yummy food. My family were catered for in regards to dietary requirements and my niece who is 2 years old. We will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

Being local, this is my favourite bar in Hampton court, love the cosy warm and friendly welcome, we booked Christmas Eve for the festive menu, food was amazing, we throughly enjoyed ourselves and will do again next year for definite, thank you 🙏

You guys went above and beyond to cater for our small birthday gathering. Increasing the numbers at the last minute, making sure to let us know if any of the food was nearly sold out, bringing out the birthday cake and generally making sure everything was going okay. All this with smiles on your faces and without a problem. Thank you for making a special day even better.

New Year’s Day lunch. It’s a lovely ambiance and the manager is great when she is there but the other staff are quite incompetent. No mint sauce with lamb Leak on head under window No Yorkshire puddings with beef roast when we ordered all our meals 3 weeks in advance. The worst bit the waiter didn’t know the difference between beef and lamb and we all started eating our meals. Such a big shame

Really enjoyable food, we had a tasty home made pie, and the burger was lovely too.

It was a terrible experience. Noisy atmosphere and food was cold when being a roast should be hot . Meat was tough and some of it unedable. Drinks had to be ordered twice .

Super evening with live music. Food and drink - "John Lennon" was very good and very entertaining.

I love this pub. Been a regular for decades. Verity the landlady runs a tight ship, her staff are amazing, particularly Trish who is so helpful and informative. Highly recommend!

All staff are very helpful and friendly. On one visit the bartender went out of her way to fix me something nice with mint and no alcohol as I couldn't have proper drinks that time. Their Crispy Calamari with Saffron Aioli are absolutely to die for!!!

Okay place. £7.55 for a pint of neck oil is just not right 🫢

This lovely traditional pub is beautiful right now, they've gone all out for Xmas!! worth a visit to see! Great selection of beers and the food is top notch.

Food was nice and reasonably priced. Was busy and fellow punters hovered way too close to our table waiting to see if you depart. Smelt a little bit of toilets, even though was the other side of toilets. Menu out of date... ordered a glass of prosecco that menu said was available by glass. Staff said no and that they would only sell it by the bottle as they weren't making enough money. Considering it was pretty cheap prosecco that can be bought in supermarket for about the same price they were charging for a glass, seemed a bit strange. Seemed a bit off so took our custom elsewhere. Won't be returning.

TOTAL shambles. They advertised a TooGoodToGo bag at about 7pm. I jumped on two buses to the pub and walked in, to meet the piece of work that is Ellen. I ordered and walked in, saying “TooGoodToGo order?”. She said “Yes”, so I swiped to collect. Then she stated that she didn’t have any food left over. I asked to speak to a manager to work out what went wrong and was told that there’s no manager there, and neither she nor I can speak to a manager on the phone either. The lunatics have taken over the asylum. Christ alone knows how they’re 4.5 on Google if people are treated like this.

The food was great, the variety of beer was really good. Verity made us feel very welcome and was brilliant overall. The price was right- the atmosphere was nice, what’s not to like! I will definitely be returning.

Went there for some Saturday drinks. Rugby was on so was too busy and loud. Thankfully when the game was over we had some fun. There was a Beatles tribute event and the singer was FANTASTIC. Beers a bit pricy ...

Great little place to stop in after visiting Hampton Court. Lots of outdoor table space. Nice lunch sandwhich special offer. Bar staff was very patient and accommodating person. Wine list is also good.

A group of four on a day trip to Hampton court palace. We booked a table before the day and in the late afternoon arrived at the Albion for dinner. We were very pleased with our choice as the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent with a good variety. The only downside was the television with the rugby that started after we were eating was too loud so we struggled having a conversation .

Popped in with a few mates for the rugby. Verity and Steven were on the bar and were very welcoming. Pub atmosphere was just right and drinks were served well and we will definitely be back for future games

Nice old fashioned pub ! Good stop off on way to eat . But needs a good clean . Horrible looking cobwebs in the skylight !!

I spent a wonderful few hours chatting away with my best friend on the lovely comfy red sofa at The Albion. There was a chatty fun atmosphere around us, music 🎶 played at a good level for chut chat. We didn't eat but the food looked good.

Very accommodating to dogs and toddlers. The food was lovely and we had a warm welcome and exceptional service from Verity. Thanks for a lovely lunch. :)

This pub is a gem located right in the centre of the East Molesey/ Hampton Court area. A cosy traditional pub that serves an intriguing range of tastes. The drinks range is good, t he wine list extensive. The staff are all friendly, efficient and very welcoming. All in all this makes the pub a delight to visit. I shall definitely be back and fully recommend it

Dropped in for a quick, late drink whilst waiting for a bus. Live music and a fantastic atmosphere. No regrets!!!

I`m writing on behalf of The Ember Big Band of Elmbridge. We are a group of musicians who like to `put something back` into the community. We play at The Albion on the first Monday of most months. Like ourselves, the pub has a strong sense of community. The staff is friendly and motivated. It has a great clientele and offers outstanding food, bar and general service. We look forward to many more visits. Well done, Albion!

Hey here I am on another side of town,for a short stay with my sister so one has to survey the local watering holes and there are many around the Hampton Court Molesey area so let's see. The Albion reasonable will have to try it at a later time.

The chicken and leak pie with the mash was amazing! If you want a refreshing drink, order the hibiscus and orange blossom spritz.

Great place! I had the Hibiscus Refresher and the chicken and leak pie! Both were amazing! I would recommend trying!

My partner asked for a diet coke and was told they didn't have any. She accepted a diet Pepsi instead. I returned two different beers that were off. Both had a similar vinegar taste. I instead asked for a diet coke...and was given a diet coke!

We stopped off on our walk of The Thames Path for lunch. A typical high street bar/restaurant with well spaced tables around a central bar. Two cask ales on offer and the first sampled was good, the second excellent. Service a little slow at times as only one person front of house. Food choice good and well cooked.

We chose The Albion for lunch following a meet up with friends to visit an Art gallery in Bridge Road. We had not been there before. The food was excellent and we we received super service from the very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return

Very bad ! Service 0 very rude people not been looked after at all ! We arrived at restaurant /Pub at 2:30 table reserved ! Been put next to the door with a broken leg table not parasols! With asked to been moved . Second we waiting to long to begin asked if we decided what we want to eat ! Some of the food was not longer available … so I choosers to have Roast dinner , and my friend fish ! We have waiting more then half hours so I went to asked been told they are busy ! But in means time no salviette and cutlery been giving to has . Finally food come still not having cutlery we have to ask ! Food looked two days hold cold and dry , the cabbage 🥬 was Eden not been boiled no butter ! left most of it in the plate ! Told them but they said in the kitchen is not Cheaf . apparently quite the night before ! Fish was test-less the fish sauce was been left on the side scomposto dry and cold been microwave to long as no Cheaf no softy procedure been followed temperature contamination ecc. i Oder a side salad avocado and lettuce 🥬 avocado was brown ready to bin it .. I removed it and I asked some dressing they taking away the salad and add some olive oil . We hopped the pudding may be good samples brownies with ice cream ! May be for the person in the kitchen was not that semole took more then half hours to come we have to asking again for it ! See it was start to rain 🌧️ and we had a table with not parasol ☂️ this people only what said … is in is way ! Not asking us to move in or moving us under a ombrello ☔️ nothing ! we had some costumes next to has they asked if we want to seated under there ombrella ! The pudding was no bad ! When we left no sorry is been said no thank you … no service at all very very bad place

Stumbled upon this pub and so glad we did. Warm, welcoming feel as soon as we walked in. Bar staff were attentive and friendly and loved the live musician that was playing. Will definitely be back

My husband and I took my mother who has dementia for lunch . We sat outside in the sun and ordered a good selection of the bar snacks and sides - The staff were really understanding ..It was Jacks first day working there, he was extremely helpful and was learning very quickly! The food arrived in good time , was extremely flavoursome with bar snack portions much larger than expected. A really lovely afternoon for the 3 of us - Thank you ' The Albion' we will be back and will spread the good word .

The service was good enough but the food was mediocre. A bit pricey for what it was.
