Really good food, nice atmosphere, good service, nice and quick owing to ordering and paying on your phone. Kids meals were generous for the price, can't complain at all;

Was unable to order breakfast muffin so ordered a bacon and egg sandwich on brown. Waitress brought white bread, said that there wasn’t any brown bread. I told her that I really wanted a muffin but couldn’t order it and she said that they were out of muffins and brown bread but that some were being delivered the next day. I said that wasn’t much good to me. What could she say. !!

Great food, quick service and well priced for lunch.

Only had coffee, which was good, a bit more expensive than other cafés hence the 4 stars

As with all the Lounges, extensive menu with excellent food cooked to a consistent high standard and friendly efficient staff. Only missing star due to issues with using Google Pay on the ordering app almost always fails for me at Lounges so have to use card details.

We were 6 adults and 3 children for Sunday lunch. There was a menu for everyone, including: gluten free, Vegan and Kids. Our meals all got the thumbs up, Smashed Avocado brunch always a safe favourite, Shakshuka poached eggs in spicy sauce, the gluten free smashed burger was highly praised, there were no disappointments. Very child friendly. Comfortable chintzy soft furnishings evoke 50's atmosphere. Relaxed vibe. Happily recommend for breakfast/brunch/lunch with or without kids.

As someone who uses an electric wheelchair it was nice to see staff try and accommodate my need's by using table feet so the table can be raised to allow me to get my legs under the table rather than eating to the table side on, asking if a spoon would be easier to eat with, asking if I would like chairs removed to allow more space, all these little things add up to an exceptional experience, food was great and we will be back

Tesoro lounge is the best place in Thornbury , if you like good atmosphere there is the right place , nice light , nice beers 🍻 Moretti is my favourite 😍 , there is the Cowboy Burger 🍔 that is just Amazing , I live in Thornbury from 2014 and Tesoro lounge is just different from other places is special , The Head chef " Diego " is the Best !! He like is job and the food is always amazing 👏🤩 The guys on the bar are friendly and well organised , the idea of a big jag of water in the bar for help your self is definitely the best (cold fresh water)👍 . Went in around 9.30pm, nice and quiet so you can have a conversation without having to shout lol, I ordered a hot chocolate with skimmed milk and it was yummy. Great atmosphere I love the lighted candles.

We had a lovely lunch here this week.We ordered food via the app and it is well set up and easy to select your options, just not very personal. The food (I had the Buddha bowl) was well presented and tasted good. Service at the table was pleasant and quick and the whole place had a relaxed atmosphere. Mid range prices (£15 ish mains) and a varied menu with plenty of choices.

Great stop for quick lunch. Had the soup and panini deal which was lovely. The staff were so helpful when I changed my mind about my order 5* for them

Awful. Food is poor. Yate and Bedminster Lounges are good, so surprised by Thornbury’s poor food. Cocktails are ok, but food is well below standard. Maybe I went on a bad day.

Best burger I’ve had in the UK ! Honestly I live in London now but will come back only for this till here. And for some surfing nearby, as well.

We have been here a few times now. We have always found the food and drinks to be really nice. There is a great atmosphere in the place, not too loud. The staff are always friendly, and that includes to our children and dogs. A big shout out to Ruby who is always especially friendly and helpful - a lovely young lady. I have witnessed other customers being rude, and she deals with it with maturity beyond her young years. The outside seating is a great addition.

A very pleasant atmosphere and a wide range of ages amongst the customer's. We ordered from the bar and each time the food and drinks arrived promptly. The food and drinks menu has something for everyone and the meals that both my wife and me had were very good, tasty and hot. Most of all I would say the ambience was the most outstanding feature, very warm and comfortable.

Fantastic Sunday brunch with friends, made even better with wonderful chatty service by staff all the way from Madeira! Food was great, music not intrusive! atmosphere was calm and relaxing, did not have to shout across the table to be heard. A nice way to start the end of the week. Easy to see why the place is full more than similar venues in Thornbury. Reservations online recommended. Will be back very soon.

We had a works do, a table for 26 people , it was absolutely no hassle for the fantastic team last night. The food was exceptional. Delivered to our tables quickly, it was hot & without exception delicious! The staff, led by Kelly were professional, friendly & nothing was to much trouble. The atmosphere was relaxed & friendly. Without doubt we will go again!

So I love this restaurant, I often use this location to treat my engineers to breakfast or lunch. The setting is delightful, although it is a big place it feels snug almost cottage like. It is very clean, including the toilets. The food is lovely, I have never been unsatisfied with my order. I often find that food locations either have good food or good coffee, but this place manages to deliver an all round good experience.

Fabulous is the best way I can describe my experience here. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced, staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was just great. It was my first visit and I will definitely be returning

Visited at 6pm on a Monday evening for a friend's birthday, table of 15. I bought two cocktails - Prosecco & Passion Fruit Martinis for £11.95 (one for me, one for the birthday girl.) Never having had one before it was delicious. We all ordered our food individually at the bar taking advantage of the "buy a main, get a free dessert" offer. The dishes all came out together fairly quickly after ordering. My Nasi Goreng was delicious, just the right amount of warmth and spice. Other diners around the table had Bang Bang Chicken, the Chicken Burger or the Lounge Burger, everyone said the food was lovely. I had Churros for dessert with both chocolate and salted caramel dipping sauces. Dusted with cinnamon and nice & crispy they were very moreish. By 7pm the place was heaving, all tables full. The three or four serving staff were rushed off their feet but they were polite and always had a smile for us, they are a credit to the Lounge. (The kitchen must have been extremely busy too, well done to them.) All in all a good, reasonably priced meal in lovely surroundings. I will definitely return with my family.

Pros Brought Thornbury up to the 21st Century. Good service even when busy. It needs a good staff quota to achieve this though and talking to the staff it had to prove its worth to warrant the right workforce. Know what to expect like all the other restaurants in the chain. Kelly is a fab hostess and has always looked after us as a family of 3. Good menus choice. Cons. A chain. Not cheap. Where is?! Flat breads on the menu need to be revised. Doesn’t work for us. Rustic decor needs a little modernising?

Relaxed dining experience. You can order all via your phone. Friendly prompt service. This lounge allows dogs. Very nice food although the dinner portions can be a bit on the smaller side. You can order and pay from your phone, which is convenient, but you are asked to decide your tip before you have eaten or had any service.

Went with friends who live in the area and had a great night. I was a little typsy and cheeky with the staff, and they were very accommodating, joining in and being lovely. Great atmosphere

Stunning decor, upmarket cafe vibe, slightly bohemian. Popped in for Tueaday Tappas special which did not disappoint. With the quality of venue and food, the only thing missing was a waiter to take our order at the table instead of at the bar or via the table QR code. Understandably, this is the normal these days. We'll done Tesoro!

We used to love going to the Tinto lounge in Gloucester Road so when it came to thornbury I was excited. Went for a celebration meal with friends on a Friday night to be disappointed. It just feels like a chain now and the crazy order via an app system made me feel like I was in an airport restaurant. The food was fine but to be asked for a service tip (default of 20%) ahead of actually getting any service really take the mock! On a positive the food was ok but boy do they need to change the format and bring back some character and service.

After being ignored by the staff we walked out.

A nice place to have lunch. We weren't too impressed with tapas, but arancinis with mozarella were great! A large selection of drinks too.

First time I've visited this place after a friend recommend it to me! I tried the full English breakfast which was very nice. The staff were very friendly and polite. Overall it was a very nice exsperance

Organised a Christmas lunch here for my colleagues and volunteers. Staff were really helpful, friendly and bent over backwards to help - including moving table when we raised concerns we didn’t quite have enough room. Brilliant. Only issue was the mash potato that came with many of the dishes - virtually liquid!

Food served cold on hot plate. Staff not very interested in doing their work. Atmosphere ruined by receiving completely wrong table( we booked 1 week in advance by the windows ) in front of the toilet .thanks . We wont be visiting again.

Shame. Have been here numerous times before (and it's been good) but last night's experience was somewhat lack luster. The member of staff who introduced herself to us at the beginning of the evening (as table service) was conspicuous by her absence from that point onward. Why say it, if you're not going to do it...

6 of us and my pooch ate there today. It was really lovely. Good food & lovely staff!

This is my first time going to the lounge but the people I was with have been quite a few times , and even they said that this day the food was the best its ever been , nice size portions too I think it depends on who is the chef as some days it's better than others , I think the only thing to improve would be consistency with it

We have visited The Lounge a number of times and we have definitely fallen for the place, the food, drink and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. From our visits, more of our family and friends have also visited and all have said how good their visit was! We take Ted, the dog, who has become a favourite with the staff - and he loves the attention! The food that we have had has always been brilliantly cooked, it’s been fresh and v tasty. The staff are great fun and take a real interest in making our visit enjoyable- well done Kelly! Will be walking in again soon! Thank you!

The place being completely quiet, so there is no staff shortage issue. After ordering online and then receiving email of successful completion. It still took 16 minutes for drinks to arrive... one orange juice and one draft beer. Straight after drinks arrived, the food arrived... Food was OK, overpriced for quality, but nothing was wrong. Childrens macaroni cheese should be replaced rather than served in the same dish that it has been cooked in and stupidly hot for children. However, there were only 3 tables in the whole place (two still hadn’t ordered). We still received no check back on how food was. Decided not to stay for dessert and went across the road to buy dessert and take home.

This is a tough one to review because this place has a lot going for it, but falls short when it comes to customer service. I am no stranger to 'lounges', and have eaten many times at Bolero in Yate, Tinto on the Gloucester Road, the one in Westbury on Trym, and even in Weymouth. 1st November was my 65th birthday, and we went to Tesoro to meet up with friends. Now, OK, I'm old, but doesn't all age groups like customer service? Maybe Lounge owners are aiming at younger generation who are happy to order food on their phones without having to interact with any staff members. Now, I have a smart phone, I know how to use a QR code, but when waiting staff are clearing tables, bringing food and drinks to your table, why can't they take your order? Having been unable to make eye contact with any staff, and being completely ignored when verbally asking for assistance, I reluctantly used the QR code. Having placed the order, you're asked would you like to leave a tip!!!! For what! I haven't even spoken to anyone yet, let alone receive any service!! Come on Lounge owners, unless you've forgotten, you're in the hospitality industry, start offering some! That all said, great burger, dog friendly and the manager listened to my comments on the day, and seemed sympathetic to them.

Yet again, a disappointment. Late lunch on a Monday and some choices not available. How can your servers not know what is and isn't available? Ordered, waited ten minutes, then informed that you had no ciabatta.

I'm a fan of The Loungers and this was my first time visiting this new branch. It was busy and there was a delay with our food but the staff were very apologetic about it. It was great to see the place so busy, actually! Highly recommended, I will be visiting again

It is a good place to relax and chat. It has a range of seating and plenty of room so is popular with a wide range of people including mums with baby buggies, elderly people and those with mobility issues. The menu is interesting and fairly priced and the food we had was well presented and well cooked

I have visited a handful of times now. Each time I've left constructive feedback, hoping that a few issues would be improved upon each time. However no changes have been made to date. It's extremely disappointing. Not sure why the chefs plate the colselaw first, then put the plate under the heat lamp. By the time the meal is served the colselaw is warm and tastes off. This has happened multiple times now sometimes we're offered fresh, cold colselaw. Other times we're just told they'll pass the message to the chef. This is still happening It's so basic not sure how this keeps happening. The water offered is room temperature, not the slightest bit cold and just tastes off like it's been left in the container all day and it's just not fresh. The menu for dinner just seems very limited and the Tapas is just disappointing in quality and taste when you compare it to the price. The last meal I ate had a funny taste to the cheese and brisket and didnt taste fresh. I will unfortunately not be coming back after this as it seems that feedback isn't being listened to, the freshness of the food is questionable and the over all quality for the price is just disappointing.

We ordered from here for the first time, expected time to take away was 19.45 and was told 10 mins, 30 mins later it was given to us. Food was OK, missing the coleslaw from the burger meals and wasn't hot (appreciate we had a 8 min drive back). I think having experienced the restaurant for the first time we will probably go elsewhere as this wasn't what we expected from a place that is so different in Evesham (orto lounge) ~ same menu. The restaurant wasn't busy so there should be no excuses and 3 waiters around.

Large menu excellent execution..lovely staff ..Good value

We come here about once or twice a month for a treat. I am especially fond of the wings. I was a bit apprehensive at the new winter menu as my favourite wings have been replaced with new flavours but they did not disappoint. Banging. One of the tapas was not what I was expecting and staff quickly exchanged for something else without quibble. My son enjoyed his as always.

Extremely unhappy with the service and the food that was provided. The food came lukewarm and when asked for it to be reheated it came back in a similar state. The service was slow despite it being extremely quiet

Great atmosphere. Food is largely decent however the app to order is terrible. This needs serious work. Simple things like searching for a drink are tedious tasks. Add in the near insult of asking for a tip at minimum suggested 20% on checkout when you did all the work yourself, it seems poor.

Very nice food, the steak was done how I asked and the macaroni cheese side was really good. I paid for an egg as an extra same with the macaroni cheese. So with the add on’s it was expensive for what it was. The staff were pleasant and gave good service. I have now been here a few times so it’s good 👍 and is consistent. I have only eaten lunch here.

Know all the Lounges and love the food and ambience so thought we’d take advantage of the Monday offer of a main wine free drink/dessert. Didn’t disappoint. Food is delicious and, as coeliac, really appreciate such an extensive GF menu. Will be back.

The lounge was quiet, not many dining or drinking and the atmosphere was lacklustre. My wife enjoyed her meal but mine, Bang Bang Chicken, wasn't very filling. Flavour was lovely, enjoyed the chili's, but 3 thin chicken strips for £14. I know it's a national chain of lounges which I'll be avoiding.

Went for brunch and was not disappointed. I had the lounge eggs, which were delicious, and my partner had the lounge breakfast. Fantastic, friendly staff and prompt service even though they were busy. Would recommend a visit.

I honestly don't know where the 5 star reviews are coming from. While the staff are friendly and the ambiance good, the food is cheap and nasty.
