We met up with some friends who had two tiny kids and a dog and were struggling to find somewhere suitable for a cuppa and cake when we stumbled upon this place. Dog friendly and child friendly. And what lovely people. They were so welcoming and so good with the little ones. So glad we found it. You won't find more accommodating people or a better pot of tea.

We visited in mid January and lots of the village was closed but this place which specialises (obviously) in tea was open and were we glad we didn't miss it. We had the special Cornish earl grey and it was just that - special. How many different choices of tea they have I don't know but there is something for everyone.

Bens Crib Box Cafe

09/02/2020: Easily the best full English I’ve ever had !! Everything was cooked perfectly and was hot when it arrived. All of the food we was served and that I saw was very appetising. If you want a great breakfast then look no further !!!
25/02/2020: Such a great place. Clean, fine looking food (and staff), delicious and ample parking right outside. Padstow railway station sadly hasn’t seen a train since 1967 though. So fill up on the great food offered here. Highly recommended as a place to eat in Padstow. Opens Monday to Saturday 8am to 2pm. Closed on Sunday’s. Very dog friendly, for friendly dog owners and their dogs.
