Two good strong americano coffees, 1 x bacon and 1x sausage sandwiches, very nice ,good quality food. Was about £ 1 overpriced, but sea front position never comes cheap.

Bar staff was brilliant. We had an issue with our food, the fish was cold in the middle. Spoke to a waitress who apologised took the food away. My partner changed his mind and ordered something different as did not want to risk the same thing again. The waitress brought it out and said "the chef apologises but he put opened it up and it was hot" we both explained that we'd both tested it and it was cold. She proceeded to say "well I stuck my finger in and now it's burnt as it was so hot". Essentially calling us liars, we did not ask for any money back. Did not complain, we literally did not want to get food poisoning. Such a shame as the rest of the food and service was great and lovely location. Staff need some training in customer care

I left a negative review before as menu changed to a terrible one vegan options appeared to be gone and menu hard to navigate. Now a new menu with more vegan options amazing thankyou very much will be coming every time I am in scarborough 10/10 thankyou .Will also spread the word to get you more custom ✨️ 👍👍👍

Fantastic place to stop for a beer or a coffee, a light bite or a full meal. Great atmosphere and decor right on the beach.

Lovely meal over Easter with family polite quick service can't fault them we will be back. Good vegan options choices too. Thank you *UPDATE Jan 2025, Disappointing to see the vegan options have gone from the menu, now there are plant based options and vegetarian bit not necessarily vegan as pizza is now vegetarian (but you can put vegan cheese on top?) , vegan nachos have also gone, not much available now, apart from a vegan sausage sandwich. Such a shame as we loved coming for meals. *Thank you for reply, Asked staff at the time, and was told milk was in the pizza base the member of staff checked with the kitchen and that the vegan chilli & nachos was no longer available. The menu items aren't clearly marked vegan (aside from 'vegan cheese' & 'vegan sausage sandwich' some clarification would be good. Gracias a Chelsea por ayudar a organizar una fiesta de 90 cumpleaños. Desde la primera conversación hasta la noche de fiesta la comunicación fue absolutamente perfecta. La comida de la noche superó mis expectativas y todos los invitados que asistieron comentaron lo bien que se presentó la comida y lo más importante lo bien que sabía. Recomiendo encarecidamente los pasteles absolutamente delicioso. La fiesta no podría haber ido mejor, el personal de guardia era excelente, amable, acogedor y profesional durante toda la noche, incluso ayudando a configurar antes de que llegara la cumpleañera. No dudaría en recomendar este lugar y la comida y el excelente personal. Bien hecho Taylor’s Bar hiciste mamás 90 por noche para recordar.

Overall a great experience! We received a friendly welcome from the staff who were very lovely and helpful. The fish and chips were excellent - perfectly cooked with really nice chips. The view from the mezzanine was amazing. You can see right across the bay to the castle. Highly recommended!

Hemos utilizado este establecimiento varias veces para comidas y solo café y bebidas. En esta ocasión pre-reservamos una mesa para 4 a 1. 00 pm en Nochevieja. Como era de esperar el lugar fue embestido, pero el personal estaba realmente en la pelota. Excelente almuerzo con servicio oportuno. Nuestra única crítica es que reservamos una mesa en la cubierta superior porque uno de nuestro grupo es alérgico a los perros y el piso superior es una zona libre. Tal vez porque estaba tan ocupado que tuvieron que suspender la póliza ya que había unos 3 perros arriba. Por lo demás gracias a todo el equipo.

We have just arrived back from Scarborough for the new year. We saw in the new year in Taylor's, and what a night it was. The staff are so attentive and welcoming. The drag act( Krystal) was fab! Very talented and knows how to get the crowd going. We haven't enjoyed a new year like this in years, so thank you to all the staff for all the hardwork to make sure we had the best time...

On a recent short break we had breakfast here every day, also lunch and a couple of evening meals. All very good, just a minor mix up with eggs one breakfast. All food was very good, also friendly service. Very good food for any time of day, in the evening the glass of wine was also very good! We stayed at the Sands apartments (same building) and will certainly be returning to both the apartments and Taylors!

Really nice views across north bay to the castle. Friendly staff, food is oven prepped frozen stuff but it was really nice. Kids spag bol was very generous and lovely. The chicken burgers were lush. Bit pricey but it's prime location. Overall very good.

Having gone past Taylor’s many times but never gone in. We will be back. Both of us had Hunters Chicken, Chips and salad. Hubby says coffee was excellent. I had a hot chocolate and it was not stupidly sweet as most hot chocolate is. If you are wanting a nice meal not at stupid prices Taylor’s is the go to place.

Nice bar but only tend to visit out of holiday season as much quieter for me l. Nice food, good service, friendly and great views.

Servicio extremadamente lento para pedir bebidas y comida, solo una persona estaba tomando los pedidos que también era responsable de hacer las bebidas, bastantes otros detrás del mostrador pero no ayudando con la cola. El chile con carne era acuoso y la pizza tenía una base muy empapada. La música era extremadamente alta, así que todo el mundo tenía que hablar con voces elevadas. Los taburetes en las mesas elevadas pesaban una tonelada absoluta.

Beachfront relaxed friendly place for a drink or 2 and sports showing on the various screens. Wide range of draught beers. Child and dog friendly inside which is a bonus in October. Didnt have food on our 2 visits but whay we saw looked good.

Visting Scarborough for the day, took our dog for a walk through the town to the beach for a run out, after an hour or so came across Taylor's, initially popped in for some hot drinks, but after seeing the food people had ordered inside decided to wait till 4pm where there was 50% off pizza and pasta dishes, and was not disappointed, 12inch pizzas ordered very fresh, tasty, and spot on could not fault anything with this place, staff all happy and smiling, place has a good chilled vibe, views are amazing across the beach and dog friendly on the ground floor only, highly recommend a visit

Salió por primera vez solo para una taza y un calentamiento después de un paseo por el baile de graduación de North Bay. Buena ubicación para las vistas al mar y del castillo a través de los grandes ventanales. Encantador chocolate caliente, pero mi marido no calificó el café.

Possibly one of the best beefburgers (with bacon and cheese) that I've had. Spectacular views and very pleasant staff.

Thought we would enjoy this place BUT, after hearing a member of the staff saying she didn't like tourists (probably the people who pay her wage and keep her employed) was very surprising, staff training needed I think.

Tried this cafe last year and found the cappuccino was lukewarm and served with no teaspoon or saucer, decided to try again recently and same again lukewarm cappuccino, no saucer and teaspoon (I like to spoon out the froth) and poor service, my friend was basically ignored at the service counter. There were many tables waiting to be cleared with staff in no hurry to do so. Won't be going again.

Good location, sat and watched the world go by. Good selection of drinks. Didn't get chance to eat but food did look good.

Qué gran lugar para cenar. Sentado arriba viendo bajar la marea, no podía conseguir nada mejor. Buena comida y excelente servicio. Me encantó el hecho de que no había música de fondo, podíamos sentarnos y charlar sin tener que gritar para hacernos escuchar contra el ruido de fondo. Es bueno ver el lugar ocupado, incluso cuando la temporada está llegando a su fin.

A great spot for an evening drink and a chill, sat upstairs for hours and watched the tide come in and then the waves crash over the sea wall. Good value drinks and a nice atmosphere. Didn't eat but the food but the portions looked generous.

The breakfast that we had was very good, but the experience was spoiled by the fact that dogs are allowed in the Cafe. We really didn't like seeing a dog being fed sausages on the next table to us, when we were eating breakfast.

Delicious, hot, tasty food, we built our own burgers! Really good value, we will visit again.

Two hungry children and two hungry adults plus a dog. Fantastic service, friendly staff and super food. Lovely pizzas for the children and fish/scampi for the adults. Good value for money and delicious. Also dog friendly downstairs. Plus a fantastic sea view.

Visited this restaurant had fish and chips fish was more batter than fish it had been deeped fried so came out rock hard no though to the salad just dumped on the side of the place chips not good . It’s a shame the problem is they cater for day trippers don’t bother getting fish and chips here save ya money

I am writing this after just finishing an amazing meal with a family group of 11 including 6 kids. The staff were so friendly and very accommodating for us. The food was superb and great value for the portion sizes. If you’ve got kids then the kids menu is so well priced I would highly recommend on a trip to Scarborough. Thanks to all the staff.

Service was bad, and we have given burnt pizza.

The lady at the door, very scary, no smile, went to the bar, and we were just stared at...staff looking at each other and looking at us, no acknowledgement or just good manners to welcome customers. We wanted to eat here but the tables were filthy. My husband left with someone else's dinner on his arms. Change your ways guys. Hi, and thank you for responding. We came in at approximately 7pm on Wednesday 14th August. My husband joined me and my son soon after. The lady who seemed to be in charge was the one we refer to as at the door, she was coming out of the door as we were coming in. Someone else was coming out first and struggling with the door. We tried to help her. Then the member of staff came to door, we thought she came to help, but she actually went out of the door, whilst giving an angry looking frown towards us. None of the tables around us were clean (including our table). Later a man came and sat at the table to the right of us, the same staff member clearly knew the man. She went to his table smiling, had a chat, then went and got a cloth and cleaned his table, then sat down with him chatting, laughing and smiling. Leaving all the other tables still covered in food and unwiped. The only smile we saw from any member of staff throughout our visit was when this lady was sitting with her friend chatting. We decided to leave and go somewhere else where we'd feel welcome. It's a shame because we have eaten here before and really enjoyed the food. We are not visitors to the area, we live here, so you are also losing regular customers from this really poor customer service.

Went when it was really busy before Korn at the open air theatre. Good atmosphere and drinks. Only downside only 2 loos for the ladies!!

It was busy when we went in but the staff were efficient, helpful and pleasant. Food was fantastic too.

Visited for some lunch before heading to the beach. They’d sold out of quite a few things on the menu, we’d hoped for pizza so went for Napolitana Penne and a Bacon, Brie and Cranberry wrap with fries. It was ok, expensive for what it was, however. The pasta could’ve been hotter in temperature and the mozzarella cheese came grated which looked out of a packet rather than ‘fresh’ as stated, the wrap was very cranberry heavy and the chips could’ve been cooked a bit more. The staff were ok, we were greeted with a frown however they seemed a little stressed. It was super busy and no one checked if our meals were ok but the turnover of people here was high and it was rammed, clearly quite a popular place although restaurant choices very limited here. Nicely decorated although a little disappointed with our personal experience.

Called in for lunch with my coeliac daughter and the team went out of their way to put something gluten free together for her. Can't thank them enough

Called in this morning for breakfast. Not impressed at all both bacon sandwiches were full of the black bits of whatever they cooked it on couldn't eat it. It could do with a good clean.

We visited to celebrate a friends post wedding “hen party” We contacted the business who accommodated us perfectly and delivered the most amazing afternoon tea which was served on mini picnic benches that fitted the venue perfectly The food is just incredible, the staff superb, nothing too much trouble and the location is second to none on Scarborough north bay. So if you are looking for a modern venue, with excellent food, superb service and the best view ever then definitely make a visit if you are in the area!

Taylor's Bar and Grill exceeded all expectations with their fantastic bottomless brunch. The food was OUTSTANDING and great value for money! The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Highly recommended!

Caught the bus up to North Shore and decided to eat here. To be fair I wasn't over whelmed with the menu choices and it was debatable if we'd try else where. Decided to stay and ordered lasagne ( not my go to) The staff were so lovely and I was pleasantly surprised with how good my food was. The lasagne was perfect with a generous amount of additional parmesan. Not a fan of chunky chips but these were hot, tasty and crisp. This was accompanied with a lovely crisp salad. I stepped out my go to favourites and thoroughly enjoy what I ordered. Will definitely come back on my next visit. Also a good view from the window seat

I had a Meat Feast pizza which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The battery on my phone was very low so they let me charge it behind the bar while I was there. I had my dog with me and she was looked after and given a bowl of water. Happy Days at Taylor's Bar and Kitchen.

Great food and all lovely view. We stopped for lunch. , Pizza and gammon egg and chips. The food was nice,hot and tasty. The service was fast and friendly. We also had a little lovely sea view.

Hate to be critical as really enjoy this place for a chilled drink but the food is sadly not great.

We had a big group lunch and the experience was great. Really easy booking everything with Chelsea and on the day Sam was just fantastic. Thoroughly recommend.

We visited on a very sunny Sunday. Despite it being very busy the staff were lovely and the food came quickly. Fish and chips were are very good size. Burgers were lovely, the build a burger menu means you can get exactly the burger you want. Fish came with chunky chips Burger came with fries, as the menu says. Both were tasty, golden and well cooked. The kids menu had enough choice and the Burger came with a plenty of fries.

My day was really ruined by the lady at the till. When it was my turn to order, she asked the person behind me for his order even though she saw that I was waiting. Not to mention the attitude and the loud voice when she was taking my order.

Lovely display at Taylor bar and grill. Couldn't help myself taking a few pics! Only came in for a drink this time but relaxing atmosphere as always and nice staff. We've eaten here in the past and foods always been amazing!

We called in on Sunday teatime chancing our luck and the staff made space for our two families and made us feel really welcome. Above all we were really impressed that the lady setting up our table made specific reference to a table near us being booked for people with a dog and asked whether there were any allergies. My sister and I have quite severe allergies to dogs and it aggravates our asthma so eating in pubs and restaurants is getting increasingly difficult for us these days. We really appreciated the consideration!

Our trip to Scarborough wouldn’t be complete without a meal at Taylor’s. We’ve been coming here for a number of years and we’re never disappointed. The prime location helps make this place memorable, but also the food is good quality and reasonable sized portions. We visited twice during our 3 night stay. On the Sunday night there was a singer. This helped add to the lively atmosphere. We look forward to our next visit soon!

We came today ( two adults, two children and one disabled OAP ) and were amazed with the wonderful service and delicious food. I had the chicken burger with bacon and cheese and it was the BEST burger I have ever had! We also had sausage and chips, a cheese burger and a plain burger. The portions were huge and came promptly. My elderly mother is disabled and they went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable which was greatly appreciated. Staff were friendly and polite. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you so much!

The staff were helpful sadly the food let us down. Don't know if it is a local thing but the chips that came with the meal were refried several times and looked and tasted burnt.

We were in a group and found seats available, good view across the bay ,one thing that I can say ,the toilets a bit too far away ,and up two flights of stairs.

The food was okay, I did enjoy it though there wasn’t much flavour within the dish. Service was terrible the girls that serviced us, were talking about personal matters while cleaning our table. Told one of my party to ‘do me a favour take these chips upstairs’. While she remade a drink that had bits floating in it. They had a not caring attitude and didn’t ask us if our food was okay. Both the girls were bickering while cleaning the table, to me that isn’t appropriate for a dinning experience.

Visited for an impromptu lunch. The bar is nice and clean and although busy, it didn't feel crowded. Quite enjoyed the food although the chilli was very watery, which was disappointing. The lasagna was delicious.
