TAO Bognor Regis in Arun

Appalling communication and still waiting for the £200 deposit. Cannot call, no reply to emails. Avoid!!!!

I went here a few months ago and it's stuck with me ever since. It was honestly the worst breakfast I've ever had. We walked in a there were huge TV screens on the walls with the TV on with no sound. Huge speakers in the corners playing the worst kind of chart/dance/modern rap very loud. I asked to sit as far away from the speakers as we could. Ordered two full English breakfasts with one tea and a coffee for me. Woman came back as she'd forgot what drinks we ordered. Waited five minutes and she brought over the worst coffee I have ever had, light beige colour, almost all milk with no coffee taste. I took it to the counter and asked for more coffee in it, which she did. We waited about fifteen minutes with the music blaring out, then the woman brought over two salmon on toast. There was only us and one other table in the place, so she said sorry and took it back. Waited another five minutes or so and she brought over the breakfasts. The plates were way too small, as was the cutlery. You could barley cut anything without it falling off the plate. Everything was lowest quality possible. The sausage was pink inside and solid and pale on the outside. The hash brown was grey inside. The bacon had the most bizarre taste, almost metallic. I actually had to spit it back out in disgust. The beans were tasteless, the toast barely toasted. My girlfriend's tea was awful, she left most of it. I left most of mine. Avoid this place.

Beautiful place, looks and feels very upmarket. Owner and staff extremely friendly and approachable. We were only having a tea and coffee after a ridiculously busy day but it was so comfortable and relaxing, leaving us refreshed to carry on. Highly recommend!

It was our 1st night out with friends. We were only in for a couple of drinks the staff were excellent and efficient hopefully we’ll be back when normality resumes.

This is a lovely open bar , best in summer ! Pool table , nice staff .. Toilets are amazingly long walk away still in same building!

Large, relaxing, modern bar in an ex shop on the High Street. Couch seating, pool, tv screens and (loud) piped music. Drinks are very reasonably priced but little choice for real ale drinkers. Take a packed lunch for the hike to the toilets - compass not required as the route is signposted at regular intervals.

Visited this place just by chance and totally glad i did. Greeted straight away by smiling doorman who (once he checked my id) opened the door and said enjoy your night. The friendly staff behind the bar ensured i wasnt spoiled for choice. Inside the main area is clean, airy and rather huge lol. Music was provided by resident dj whith some great mixes. Was told that the place doesnt fill up until after 9pm so returned later that night. Spot on place and will be returning in the very near future.

Been here twice and both times it was great. It has a fantastic selection of beers, spirits and the breakfast is superb. Service always very attentive. Will definitely be coming back at some stage.

Called in with some friends for a light lunch. Had a selection of sides which were excellent. Coffee was also extremely good. Service staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Popped in here for 1st time today. Lunch menu very limited so just had sweet chilli Halloumi and a coffee. Delicious, large portion and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff who explained they will be expanding their lunch menu. Definitely will visit again

Awful, no atmosphere, awful music. I'd rather watch paint dry. Feels like a weatherspoons. I'd love to get my hands on this venue.

Lovely staff, very friendly and down to earth. Had a rushed lunch break but they catered for it well and the food was really tasty:) I had a burger and it was well presented, beautifully cooked and a great portion size. Will definitely revisit 👌

Great venue, well run with many different events. Music, sports, Christmas face painting, cheese and wine, afternoon teas etc. An interesting and varied place.

Such A Great Bar, With Fantastic Range Of Drinks. AND The Food Is Amazing. I recommend The Tao Large Breakfast, You Can't Go Wrong With Great Atmosphere, Friendly Staff, Great Food And Drinks.

What a lovely guy dan is. Welcomed as soon as you arrive with fantastic staff. Friendly and helpful followed by amazing food and drink. I will definitely be going back and recommend all my friends and family. Thanks TAO 😊

Very limited wine selection and also it was freezing cold inside, only had a t shirt on under my jacket so didn't hang around. Good venue though I middle of town.

I visited TAO for a children's activity. It was run by Harmony Hive, excellent.

Had some fun nights in here! Afternoon tea and wine and cheese night were great . Looking forward to singles night

Wide range of beers and a really friendly place to have a drink and chill. Weekends are the best with a good music and safe environment with good security Personnel there.

Great family pub in the heart of Bognor Regis town centre with a good selection of lagers and soft drinks for the whole family. Busy weekends with sport and events great bar staff who are really helpful and accommodating.

So much to offer for singles, couples and family. Wine and cheese night, 70s 80s disco, football and kids clubs in the school holidays. The owner has real community in mind. Can't believe this place was a McDonald's!! (Warning, long walk to the loo here!)

Have been to TAO a few times now meeting other friends who have kids, the staff are constantly friendly, the food is always tasty, and the atmosphere is great. Family friendly fun!

This place is always good to us when we go here. From a solid beer selection and excellent sports watching facilities to being family friendly all round. Easily the best place to get your fix of sports and a drink in the area by far.

Great venue for watching sports of all kinds, would highly recommend for football. good location right in the middle of town!

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours in TAO with my two young sons (7 & 3yrs) and their nan. Decent coffee, play table and colouring competition for my youngest and a pool table (and some very patient patrons!) for me to teach my eldest on. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Toilets have been redecorated since we last visited, too. Pictures include my son holding the TAO World Cup replica during the summer on a previous visit (which he still talks about!)

Like what they're trying to do here. However it really is unacceptable to have to go that far to reach a toilet.

Fantastic new modern bar in Bognor high street! Lovely fresh hot coffee, Kiddies corner, wide drinks selection, friendly staff just what Bognor needed!

Great place in the day for a coffee. Evenings busy with Dj's at weekends, live bands, pool, darts. Great selection of drinks and quick friendly staff. Toilets have been done up

Lovely bar. So great because Bognor really needed a cool bar with good prices! The staff are super friendly, the fanzone was fantastic during the World Cup and they do super yummy nachos. Lovely vibe, often see the same faces inside as well. Definitely our new Friday/Saturday destination, or even in the week! :)

Does what what you expect when you look in, beers pool, sports and noise. It’s newish be interesting to see what happens to such a bar in Bognor. Will need good quality and quantity of security staff.

Toilets are 500 *ducking light years away...poor form. 0 stars from me. Once I managed to find them I had to p double e in a broken toilet I was so desperate. Bring supplies if you want a wee. Two day hike recommended.

17 of us entered this otherwise empty only to be greeted by miserable staff that wanted to know when we were going to leave - would not recommend this bar to anyone else.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere & good/food drink. Very modern/trendy interior, good selection of drinks.

What a lovely venue, it’s very family friendly (play area for kids with Lego and toys) very good bar staff (friendly, talkative and attentive) basic menu at the moment but a quick chat with the owner, who tells me a tapas and small plate menu will be ready soon. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, well worth a visit as the beers good too, a jewel in the crown of Bognor Regis pub/restaurants
