Tandoori Nights in Broxbourne

Only found out tonight that the Hoddesdon shop has shut. Waited an hour for delivery. Then received very cold food. Very disappointed. After using Tandoori Nights for 10 years.... I will no longer be as customer.

Not overly happy. Delivery came with one main meal missing. Although they came back with the missing meal, did not get a apology. And the missing main meal was not exactly very nice. Was as though it was done in a hurry.

Received my food quick and it came roasting hot which looked promising, but the meat was such a letdown. I spent a lot of money on the tandoori mixed grill for all the meat to be dry and tough. The chicken in the madras also had a weird taste. Out of all of the food the madras sauce and chips were the only items I enjoyed.

We have always used Tandoori Nights when we order an Indian Takeaway and have always been happy with the food. However, we have not had food from there for a while as we are cutting back on takeaways. It was my husbands birthday on Saturday so we thought we would treat ourselves. We were so disappointed with the quality of the food. Maybe they have a new cook? It seemed as if the meat ( not the good quality we remember) had been pre-cooked and then put in whatever sauce it was meant to have. The chicken Tikka was dry and quite tasteless. Even the Peshwari Naan seemed to be missing the raisins and very little coconut. Unfortunately we will think twice about ordering from them again. So sad.

Ordered food from here on Saturday arrived late burnt and cold will never order from here again..

9.50pm on Tuesday closed for an Indian. Won't be using again. Looked like person taking orders had all her friends in. Once I walked in made me feel uncomfortable and said we are closed joke. I help run swan I will not send any more regulars your direction. Paul

We have been ordering from here for about a year now and I just want to say how amazing this place is!!!!! The food if always hot and on time The lamb dishes are always spot on!! Which with lamb it's very hit and miss when ordering from other places,, from tandoori nights it's always so tasty moist and melts in your mouth Would recommend to everyone!!!!

Best local Indian takeaway. Great menu and seen happy to accommodate if there is another dish you fancy. Christmas card and vouchers each year are a nice touch.

Shocking food. Disgusting. Everything was covered in oil. Chicken tikka dry main was swimming in grease. Needed to strain the food to remove all the oil. Poppadoms was stale and could the old oil they had been cooked in! Change the oil that you use to cook your food in! Chicken Tikka was clearly frozen and reheated. Dry as old boots. Disgusting how they can charge money for this shocking food.

We have always considered this to be a great Indian Takeaway. Not sure what has changed, new chef maybe, but our take away was awful. Arrived on time and was hot but so sweet it was inedible. The entire thing went in the bin. What was supposed to be a friday night treat was a total waste of £40. We won't be using Tandoori Nights again.

We normally order from raj mahal, but due to the unprecedented circumstances, they have closed which I completely understand. So we ordered from tandoori nights. Yes, it is late, it even so, the food was very substandard, even the mint sauce to go with the poppadom didn’t taste like mint. The best thing about the whole meal was the poppadom. Mi d you, you can’t go wrong with those really

We have been ordering from here for the last 3-4 years and have never had a bad experience. The food that they make is the closest we have found to authentic Indian cuisine. Will always recommend to anyone who fancies an indian 😀

We have ordered from here before and have always been happy but tonight 90per cent is in the bin.

Our meal arrived covered in grease/oil from the containers. The onion Bhaji arrived greasy and cold and had no salad or sauce and the keema nan was soggy and wet. The curry dishes were swimming in oil and needed more seasoning. I rang before we started to eat (5min after it arrived) and l was told that they would speak to the driver and they would do something next time l ordered. I told them this was the second time l had an issue with my order and l would not give them another chance. A waste of £42!!

In my experience, the best tasting Indian food in the area. It's takeaway only though so not a place to dine in at. Fantastic food and great staff.

Great food - they go the extra mile by adjusting my dhansak sugar content - brilliant. Lovely people too. Recommend you try at least once.

first order was lovely. second took 2 hours to arrive and was luke warm. such a shame. don't mind waiting as long as it's still hot but food had obviously been sitting out

Waited over 2 hours and 15 mins for our take away. Rang number of times and told it was on the way when clearly it wasn’t. Then when it did arrive we was missing items

Just had an evening take away. Food was as promised ready 20 mins after we ordered. Ample portions and very tasty food. Nice touch of free popadoms and wipes.

I always get my takeaway from here as its the best food ive had but had one tonight and they must have new chef it was awful i wont ever get one from here again a waste of £40 could not eat it went in bin after a few mouthfuls
