Spice Tandoori in Broxbourne

Was told about allergy yet ignored when calling restaurant after was told its only little pieces of allergic ingredient.... Waste of money and time food unable to eat.

Awful Chicken tikka masala was like shredded chicken and sauce cold. Bombay potato tasteless and bland. All in all pretty much a let down

Love the vegetarian niramish but a slow delivery due to heavy traffic in the area

timing was late but my concern was how poor the food was didn't taste like authentic Indian felt like I could cook it better at home tasted very bland...

ordered six poppadoms received one for six ppl no one answered when i rang, very annoying as i order weekly

We fancied Indian and found a set meal called maharaja set for 2. It was soo good, loved the gravy sauce for the curry's. The prawns was my favourite. Loved the sagaloo dish and rice dishes. All of it was good, getting that set meal again for family night.

What a load of rubbish the worst curry I have ever had

There was metal wire in my meal , my grandson throat was cut by it and when we called the restaurant they didn’t care or offer any assistance to help

Food was “okay” take that how you think wasn’t hot just warm ish food was very bland never had a curry like it tbh I’ve had better curry’s out of the microwave delivery was okay took 45 minutes to get here but food was not too good

Advertised as a 25-45 min delivery. Once you place the order it’s actually 50- 70mins and then it’s 15 later than that but marked on the system as arrived on time. Then you find it tastes terrible, the chicken is chewy there is no heat in the sauce and the rice is dry and hard.

Very poor quality and tasteless worst takeaway I've had.

We ordered at 18.26 and was confirmed. Food didn’t arrive until 20.21. 2 hrs later since ordering. Please can we have a total refund. I always use this restaurant but waiting for 1 hr 30 minutes is a little excessive and very annoying. Spoilt the evening.

All of the food is totally tasteless. I ordered a chicken tikka dansak and it was totally tasteless, to be honest I couldn’t eat it.

Food has always been good however i ordered a madras as usual (advertised as either ‘fairly hot or hot’ depending which one you get) either way spicy. I got a yellow curry, zero spice, tasted exactly like a lumpy version of the sweet yellow yogurt dip they provide. It was awful, sickly sweet, couldn’t eat it. I took photos and wanted to know what happened. Was told this is how they cook madras now, no refund. Definitely not ordering again, food nothing like described, poor service.

Absolutely disgusting restaurant!!!!! We have ordered many times from this place. Our dinner turned up and the mint sauce had gone off it smelt like sour milk. We put it on our food and it ruined everything!! I am 6 months pregnant so as you can imagine it is really dangerous for my unborn child to eat gone off yoghurt. We rang the restaurant and the manager was extremely rude. He said that he would not send us our food that had been spoilt by the gone off mint sauce. He would send us another mint sauce and just put that over the sour milk taste. He was so rude!!! Please do not order anything from this restaurant vile horrible owner!!! Very nice delivery man though.

I must say the food was absolutely beautiful, especially the vegetable curry, I'm first time having one. The only criticism is that the nan bread is sweet, not like a proper nan and the tandoori chicken just wasn't tandoori (red) enough for me. Apart from this absolutely lovely food fir the first time ordering, I will definitely be ordering again!

Is not upto standard of even a poor Bangladeshi takeaway pretending to be Indian food. The chappatis were raw in parts, chicken curry was eating cardboard and the lamb Phiona was chewy. Obviously poor quality of meat. The chap on the phone was rude and unhelpful. Will never order again

The driver didn't know where I was , he's Sat nav couldn't find .y address. So I had to microwave my dinner.

"I dont have time for your questions" this was the angry response from the manager as we asked for his recommendation. Absolutely shocking behaviour and tone of voice. He was very abrupt and furious when questioned about error in an order and the payment. He then slammed the phoned down after saying, order from somewhere else next time. We are both from a civilzed upbringing, a teacher and an engineer, felt victimised today. All the best.

Recently i have been to spice tandoori for a take away and food was hot and good, also the service was quick and price is also reasonable. Best take away in cheshunt.

Do not order from this restaurant. We have been loyal customers to them for a long time. Tonight we had a just eat discount (stamp card because of our loyalty) and because of that they refused to make our order saying it wasn’t worth the money to make our food. They were beyond rude to us on the phone and hung up after saying they were cancelling our order. I’m beyond upset and will never order there again.

Good food normally but this time the popodoms were very soft/stale and the Bombay potato was hard . Disappointed this time overall

Order not quite right, no lime sauce & two pickle instead of one so just a small error but annoying as rear of delivery good.

Having read several negative TripAdvisor reviews I was pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the food. I would order from here again.

Food was lovely but no sauces was put in bag food wasn’t ready at time stated to collect was told by member of staff was a free magnet for the wait which was a lovely gesture when my husband arrived home there was no sauces or magnet I called restaurant and was told check the bag even though we had numerous times I asked politely if a driver could drop some whilst doing deliveries but was told no unfortunately my husband was unable to collect them as was given a lift by our neighbour to collect food but they had gone out for the evening by this point I explained this and was told nothing can do would give us free ones next time however the mint sauce comes free with the lamb tikka starters anyway and my husband said it’s the best thing I enjoy not just with the starter feel really disappointed now we’ve been using spice tandoori over 20 years but just one of those things food was lovely anyway

I would never try Spice Tandoori for the simple fact they plastered their advert on my door. If they do not respect other people's property, I can't see them respecting their customers. If it happens again, I will visit the store and demand the manager comes and remove it.

Ordered online, food arrived as per estimated time. All currys were delicious, warm and tasty , especially the chicken tikka and lamb dish. The califlour baji was bit oily. Definitely will order again.

Lovely food best Indian restaurant never order from anywhere else

I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!! IT DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE THE ONE STAR!!! DISGUSTING attitude from this restaurant this evening. I have previously ordered twice and had  a great experience. Today I was going to order online but couldn't see rice or naan on the menu, so I had put my order in the basket except for 2x pilau rice and 1x naan. My order was showing as £22.45 and when I called I was told it's £39.XX ..I simply and politely asked if he could check he had totalled it correctly and was spoken to disgustingly. I asked how much pilau and naan was and he said £2.90 per item so my bill should have been around £31 (where has the extra £8 come from)? I had also asked if we would get a free bottle of drink as the website states you will on orders over £30, he laughed and said they're not doing this anymore as everything is so expensive. The Man was SO, SO RUDE, I was actually taken aback. He repeatedly said check the website, you're on the wrong one. I read the URL to him and asked if he could confirm my order and the price for each item. The first thing (mixed starter) he said was £6.95 but it's £4.95 on the website right now. He said I'm looking at a website from 2 years ago.?.?.?.? I was completely polite the entire time and said I just wanted to clarify the prices as it seemed a lot (especially when my last two orders wasn't much smaller and was £23-£26). The Man aggressively said he isn't here to aggravate me so do I want the order or not as he doesn't care either way. Order cancelled (he hung up on me) I can safely say I will never order from here ever again!!!
